Heck ya!! What a fabulous dining experience! It’s a cozy restaurant in downtown Martinez. Definitely recommend making reservation as this place can be super packed esp. during live music hours. Everything we ordered, from their daily specials, to locally sourced ingredients give you a farm to table kind of dining venture. The house cocktails are refreshing-ly good. If you have a sweet tooth, their in-house desserts to finish off your meal-perfect amount of sweetness! Can’t wait to be back for more!

Some of the best food in the area organically sourced, absolutely amazing chef, and service is friendly and out of this world. The food and drinks are just suburb. Flavors are extremely well balanced and flavors just pop. Each dish, wether the steak which was perfect seasoned and match with the potatoes agraten, the Cesar and salmon salad with its perfect Cesar dressing or the loaded turkey on facasia everything was just perfect! The drinks just out of this world! As always you should taste the flavors of the alcohol and not the alcohol... and the bartender got it perfect and just right! Definately and is our regular go to diner restaurant! And if you can stay for the music... always a special treat!

I was just looking for a place to grab some lunch and landed here in downtown Martinez. The food is absolutely delicious. It is on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. I had the antipasta appetizer that had different meats, olives, carrots, pickles and artichoke hearts that was too pretty to eat. I also had the dungeon crab Louie salad and a great craft beer from the brewery that is around the corner from the restaurant. Darlene was an amazing server and she made my experience even better. Definitely a place to check out for lunch or dinner.

Came by for Dinner and had a 5 star experience. The staff, food and atmosphere were fantastic! I will pass on the good word to friends and family. Really appreciate the good vibes. I will be back soon!

Great service and wonderful servers with great attitude. I had the grilled flat iron steak with mushrooms, greens, and potato gratin cooked medium and I highly recommend it! The steak was real tender and goes well with the potatoes and vegetables.

Food was tasty although a little on the higher end for the menu selections available. Service was excellent, the only issue was that since it's such a small dining area it gets very loud. We had a larger party and it was difficult to hear from one end of the table to the other with all the background noise. I will say some of the noise was from the live music which was unexpected but quite good. They weren't overly loud, but I think it contributed to everyone else talking at a much higher volume.

GREAT FOOD! Excellent menu. A little bit of everything. The salads are so well put together with fresh dressings. Exciting dessert menu. My favorite salad is the roasted beets with local goat cheese. The crab quesadilla is fun. The smoked turkey and avocado is big and juicy and the tater tots are cooked lightly brown to perfection. Seriously, order anything, you can’t go wrong.

Delicious food. I ordered the salmon. I ate the whole thing! The place has a full bar and there was a live band. I will be going back!!

Yummy yummy mega yummy! My bestie and I went here for an early dinner on a Wednesday, and it was the best first meal she had since she moved to Martinez a couple months ago. We each got a Roxx-a-Rita, and shared a crab melt with tator tots. Yooo that sandwich is the bomb dot com. I could not recommend it more. I kind of wish we didn't share, so that I'd have been able to take some home, but I guess that just means I need to come back ‍ I was so excited to find out that the crab melt came with tots, they're just the elite form of fried potato. The margarita was a little strong, but was pretty good, and gave me a good buzz. The focaccia and olive oil balsamic was an awesome starter. Our server was very upbeat and kind, we loved her! The only not so great thing was that the booth seating was kind of low, and uncomfortable for my 5'3" self to sit at. But I chose to sit there, and was too embarrassed to ask to move to a table, so that's on me! The prices are a little on the high side, so I'll be back when I want to treat myself to a little mini splurge

It's a lovely weekend night spot for dining. I have only been here once and within the first few minutes, I knew that this was a local favorite. I could tell by the lovely jazz music, the relationship that the staff had with the diners, and how comfortable everyone was. I went with three other people and we all got different dishes. We were all happy with our dishes :) I recommend the burger or the black/blue salad with was very filling. Don't skip on the focaccia! Would I go back? Yup, it's a sweet date spot. I recommend making a reservation.

The best restaurant in the Bay Area!! The chef is world class , and the plates are big enough for 2.. Not a joke , this is the place for foodies.

This is a really neat little place located on Main Street in Martinez, CA which adds to the ambiance of the restaurant. Super friendly service and super delicious food and cocktails. Check out their daily specials. The day we went, crab sandwiches were part of the special. Great prawn cocktail! Also, couldn't resist ordering a Manahattan. Definitely a place to visit and will be returning soon!

Mine and my husband's first time going to Roxxs on Main and it was nothing but great service, food and ambiance . From the waitress down to the quality and deliciousness of the food.!! we had a waitress name Darlene, who was super super super amazing! She's enthusiastic, smiling always and knows the menu! Definitely going back! The ambiance outdoors was great as it seemed inside! Clean bathrooms also a plus! They also greet you with warm focaccia bread, olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette! Yum! Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely delicious! We returned and this time we came a little earlier because we were going to a show afterwards. We started off with a bowl of the clam chowder, I got the salmon and my husband got the special which was a crab melt sandwich. All the food was perfectly made and delicious. But I think my husband would have felt a little better had he not had clam chowder and a crab melt together- a bit too heavy for him. But overall, great food, great service and convenient location with lots of parking. We will have to come back for one of the nights they have live music.

This is a wonderful spot on Main Street. We got a table outside to enjoy the sun and warm weather. Darlene is absolutely friendly, explained the menu and provides stellar service. Definitely a must return.

No way is this rating accurate! This place is horrible! I ate here a year ago with my wife and we couldn't remember why we hadn't eaten here since, until tonight. Oh ya their food is horrible! All of us had bad meals, from the overly sugared bread, to the really bad wine selection. The food is way over priced and so sauced it's just horrible. From the pasta Gemala which is 80% frozen vegetables with some cheap pasta to their pork chop which is just drowned in sauce and bland. All is bad, just nasty. Also watch out on the wine! They're ripping everyone off here! We ordered the McGrail 2016 for $59 (their best wine) supposedly. What we got was a smoke tainted 2020 McGrail that was sold through the wine auction houses from the insurance companies (major difference in price from a 2016 to a tainted 2020). Let's back up here a min, we all remember 2020 fire season, most wineries dumped their wine and some tried to go to bottle but realized it was bad so triggered insurance, who made them whole and bought all their wine. Now the insurance companies can sell their wine through auction houses and major discount house hence grocery outlet and others, now Roxx's. Now take a look at Roxx's wine list, 95% are insurance wines! Trust me I'm in the insurance mitigation industry so I understand it. These are throw away wines they are trying to pass off as 2016's and others but watch their labels, their all 2020 (basically fraud here), they're relying on most people not paying attention or knowing. When i confronted the bar tender he said "oh we just ran out and got these cases in, I'll have to update the list". Judging by how high he was I'm not sure it's getting updated anytime soon. Either way this restaurant would have gone out if it wasn't for their live music. Who brings in great local people to eat their horrible food, drink their nasty wine and listen to their great music. So many other choices in Martinez to try, trust me try them first. Even taco daddy's would have been better and that's freaking tacos. Roxx! Step it up, you have a great location no reason to have the worst wine list in Martinez and the sauciest food. Time to hire a new chef or fire yourself as CEO if you're making these bad decisions! Just Nasty!

The servers are always so friendly and helpful with questions about the food. They have great entertainment at dinner. I've only enjoyed when music was inside but I'm sure the fun is outside as well. I've enjoyed their Asian salad, steak sandwich, Mac and cheese is a must! Drinks are always good too. Enjoy!

Really tasty food - had the tomato soup, salmon and house salad. Presentation was beautiful, generous portion sizes and organic! Look forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu! Valerie was also such a lovely waitress!

The food was stellar. Fresh foccaccia. A delicious aioli on the turkey sandwich. And I'm so glad I said yes to the S'more dessert. Everything (graham crackers and marshmallows) made in house. Our server was very attentive. A lovely lunch.

Delicious! Great wait staff. Went fairly late on a Friday night and were shocked to be able to get in. We had two small, hungry kids with us. We were able to order right away and got our food quickly

Roxx on Main was featured on Check Please Bay Area and it looked amazing, so I knew we had to check it out. We came with my parents for a combination early Mother's Day dinner and birthday celebration and the food and drinks didn't disappoint! We arrived a bit before 5pm and were immediately greeted by the friendly staff and seated without a reservation. The restaurant itself is warm and decorated with great art and a giant neon clock. We each got cocktails which were delicious - I recommend the Lumiere if you like sweet drinks, and my stepdad and husband loved the Contrary Mary. The focaccia they give you when you sit down is also amazing - we had to stop ourselves from demolishing the entire plate of bread before we ordered food! As for food: Black and Blue salad - 10/10! Super fresh greens and a tasty vinaigrette. I got the steak medium rare which was perfect. They didn't skimp on the steak either which I appreciated. The "blue" in the name refers to blue cheese which I opted out of, but if you're into that I'm sure it's tasty! Crab melt - 1000/10! My stepdad and husband both got the daily special crab melt on sourdough and both of them could not stop raving about how good it was. My stepdad is a crab connoisseur so when he said it was one of the best he's ever had, I knew it was legit. I was allowed to have one bite and it was really really good. Chicken with pilaf - 8/10. My mom got the chicken entree and she said the chicken and vegetables were great, but there weren't a whole lot of pilaf or beans on the plate. Overall this place is definitely worth a stop in you're in Downtown Martinez. They have live music on the weekends, so we'll definitely be back to see what that's like!

Jury day again, another lunch. This place was packed. There were tables reserved. Has no idea. I'd recommend reservations if you want a good seat (outdoor area is very cute). I had the crab melt special, which came with salad or tater tots. Tater tots were really good, crunchy but not oily. I was slightly disappointed with the crab melt, as it wasn't very melt-y (no oozy cheese). My friend got the tuna melt and she loved that and the side salad. Her melt had a nice melty layer of cheese. Service was good but I was never offered a refill on my iced tea. All in all, probably the cutest lunch place in downtown Martinez (that I've been to so far).

Came here for lunch on a Thursday with the crab melt in mind. It wasn't on the menu and we were so bummed. However, we asked and they had it, it just want on the menu for whatever reason. The sandwich was divine. The focaccia with the olive oil & vinegar was outstanding. The ladies working were very nice, but it did seem like I was back in Europe (read: the wait staff left us alone for a while) It seemed like it was going to be a long wait because it is a small space and was totally packed. But we were seated quickly. I can't wait to come back, especially on a non-work day.

Her food is consistently wonderful and the service is always lovely. I think that's all this necessary to say.

My husband and I just moved to Martinez and we're really excited to try Roxx as we've heard many good things, however our experience missed the mark. If you want to come on a weekend during live music be sure to make reservations in advance as they fill up. Since they were packed, service was pretty slow. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and they have a large front patio and can spill out into the street for the live music nights where they block off a section of Main Street. I had the house made lemonade which was delicious. For my entree I had the pasta gemelli and asked for grilled chicken to be added. After a long wait my dish came out and I was very surprised by the bowl of soup in front of me. They provided no spoon and was misleading calling it a pasta dish. After I started eating I realized they forgot to add the chicken I requested. It took about 15 minutes before our waitress checked in and I informed her it was missing. She went back and checked and said it wasn't her fault but the kitchens and she'd take it off our bill... I still wanted to the chicken but after such a long wait I felt like I should just forget it. I also noticed there was no summer squash, asparagus, or corn in the dish that was all listed on the menu. It was an entirely different dish than I ordered! My husband had the steak dish which we both thought was just ok. We'd be willing to give Roxx another shot and hope maybe lunch would be a better option.

It's a ladies lunch Roxx on Main Great to catch up with a good friend over! I'm a first-timer and Roxx was great! Service was friendly and on point. I loved the focaccia they started you with- complete with extra virgin olive oil and balsalmic dipping sauce (and did I taste a hint of lemon ?). We both enjoyed salads. My friend had the house salad (similar to mine but with salmon) and loved it! Huge piece of salmon. I had the grilled prawn salad- cherry tomatoes, kalmata olives, feta, greens, huge shrimp, and honey- herb dressing (I added avocado). A new fav to add to my salad rotation. Would love to come back for dinner- entree selection looks amazing!

Great weather Tuesday, so hubby & I decided to go out for dinner, to a new place to us; We were pleasantly surprised everything we ordered was just delicious! We ordered Brussels sprouts, each had X-rated lemonade (vodka & other citrus ingredients), I had the open salmon sandwich with house salad, vinaigrette, and hubby had the Jumbo Shrimp pasta with a lemon cream sauce and cesar salad And we shared the S'much s'mores dessert was so good Will definitely come back!

Visited for lunch with a friend on a whim. The food was good but the service was fantastic.

I absolutely love the food at Roxx! They have a great variety of options and can adjust to your needs. I've visited some of the most expensive and highly reviewed east bay restaurants and hands down, best food! Not only the taste, but the presentation and portions size is great too. Roxx can make vegan and GF options easily, just ask. I should have taken a photo of last night meal, beautiful, finished with an edible flower. They also have a wonderful selection of wine and cocktails. Oh, and live music year-round! Reservations recommended so ya don't miss out.

Went in for lunch yesterday. Took over an hour to receive overcooked salmon. The special described was not what I received. When placing my order I also ordered a meal to go - that never showed up. The lunch took almost 2 hours. My guest had to leave. It wasn't even crowded. It seemed like the server was knowledgeable and really trying. Don't know what was going on in the back. Really disappointed. Have liked this place before.

What a more than pleasant surprise ! We came here because of an article we read about the music and food scene in Martinez. Fortunately, our experienced far surpassed our expectations. We were so happy to find quality live music and could hear other live music in other areas. This has unfortunately become something we had taken for granted that just all but disappeared in the pandemic. We are so grateful when restaurants go to the trouble to have have music that we wholeheartedly support these places. On to the even better part was their food which was outstanding! Their wild salmon was perfect, their pork chop sumptuous which was butter tender. The entire establishment had a professional and personable staff which we really appreciated. Fir a wonderful experience don't miss this dining and entertainment scene!

We went here the other day- me, my husband and our 1.5 year old and it was absolutely fantastic! The food is amazing and the place is adorable. The crab quesadilla is WORTH IT. It's large enough to have as an entree if you don't want to share. The grilled chicken was amazing- the rice and beans were perfect. And the pork chop- OH THE PORK CHOP. Fantastic. We say we are "mal de puerco" when we have eaten a lot of good food and this was very true- and even funnier because puerco is pig. Sorry I think I'm funny. The dessert was great too- fig and coconut bread pudding. My baby loved all the fruit it was garnished with. Oh! And I can't forget the bread! THE BREAD! It is to die for! And their wine list is wonderful. Very very happy happy with our experience. We are on our way there now to celebrate my birthday with my family. Definitely try this place out!

Excellent lunch for two of us today!! We each had the Chinese Chicken Salad with iced tea. The had ice water with lemon on the table in a carafe. The salad was exceptional! Perfectly dressed, crispy, chock full of greens and grilled chicken. For dessert we shared the coconut bread pudding which was topped with a mix of fresh berries, raspberry sauce and whipped cream- outstanding! We ended our meal with a lovely pot of lemon ginger tea. The staff were each welcoming and we met the owner who inquired how we found everything. We ate inside and the ambiance is comfortable and homey. We will be back!!

Ordered a Chinese Chicken Salad to go. Arrived to a full house, a good sign but little true competition for upscale food downtown. Loud. And then there's a guitar duo blasting away and singing. Really loud. Forget convo. Their concept of dinner music needs re-thinking. The salad? Not so great. They forgot the crispy noodles. Oops. Other veggies were not abundant for $22. Chicken was fine. Bonus was a small piece of bread with balsamic & oil.

I think this is my new favorite place to go eat locally. My husband and I had a fantastic evening there, not just the food, but the atmosphere, the other patrons, it was overall just a great evening. We ordered the Buratta to start and whatever oil and vinegar they used on it was heavenly. Even my husband who would typically pass up something like that (it looks too healthy lol) said it was incredible. I ordered the Skirt Steak and my husband ordered a burger. That first bite of the skirt steak was amazing. It had this nice crisp to it and the red wine sauce was so good with the scalloped potatoes. Yum. The burger was awesome. My husband commented on the bread and said it was some of the best he's had. And to top it off because it's a smaller restaurant, we just happened to make friends with the table next to us and spent the evening shooting the shi*t with them, discovering commonalities. It was the epitome of a farm to table, community restaurant experience and I adored it. My husband and I left the restaurant laughing and talking about how excited we are to go back. NOTE: definitely make a reservation. They were fully booked the evening we went and we only happened to squeeze in because a wonderful lady chased us down to let us know half her party wasn't coming and we could take part of their reservation. (Same party we were sitting next to. Thank you beautiful human!)

The food was delicious and Claudia was a great server, very attentive. My friend and I really enjoyed ourselves, so we will be back. A cute place in downtown Martinez. We didn't hear the music, since they had another group using our table at 7pm, but that was OK. Next time.

There's a reason we were told by friends to order the crab sandwich, it's terrific! Tbh even good cold for dinner (super filling so we took half home) Also lovely warm service/great atmosphere. We'll be back!

This place is a gem in this quaint town. The food is fresh, well balanced, and delicious. The service is great and the atmosphere is quaint and intimate. There is a little outdoor dining area that was perfect as we trained our new puppy. On a nice warm day, it's nice to site outdoors and take in the people and scenery of this cute town. Really enjoyed this place and would highly recommend.

What a great restaurant. My waitress was amazing. The food was amazing. I got a cheeseburger made with Alhambra Valley beef and it was amazing. Super local and super delicious. I had the focaccia bread with oil and vinegar that was lemon flavored. Very good. Salad that went with the burger was superb. Great vibes in here. Woman owned business which is great. Peaceful happy atmosphere. I can't wait to go back. 5+ strong stars.

Amazing food. Local shops nearby, live music, and outdoor dining on weekends. The grilled cheese sandwich is an experience one will not soon forget. The double-cut porkchop is outstanding. Does not matter what you order, you will not be disappointed.

Horrible service!!! My family and I came in around 6pm only a few tables were taken. We placed our order 10 minutes after sitting down and we didn't get our food until after 7pm. People that came after us were already getting their food. When I asked the server if we can just pay for the drinks and appetizer that came out,she assured me the food was next. Very poor execution from the front of the house and kitchen and I hope the owner sees this. Food was lukewarm when it came out. Never coming back

We have been to Roxx a few times now and just can't believe how great the food is. By far the best in Martinez and I would say one of the best in the east bay honestly. We just were there last weekend and people were dancing in the streets to live music! So much fun. If you make a reservation the table is yours the entire night and the outdoor music was from 7-9. We tried the polenta appetizer, my wife had salmon and I had the pork chop. Then we had a smore desert with home made graham crackers. Amazing food and great music. Book early, you def need a reservations.

Food was excellent. Great little gem. I had the crab sandwich which was amazing.. not to mention the salad dressing is so fresh and light that you will want to buy some on the side.

We finally tried Roxx on Main and it did not disappoint! A small, quaint restaurant located on Main Street with a vast menu to choose from. We came for a linner on Sat at 3p (they open at 2p). My son ordered a burger, my daughter had the flat iron steak, hubs had the flat iron steak sandwich with clam chowder, and I had the crab melt with caesar salad. We also had the brussel sprouts and a drink, X rated lemonade. The drink was good, the brussel sprouts were so good! I don't usually like brussel sprouts but I was told these are amazing and they were! We got them extra crispy! So delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meals. My crab melt was freaking delicious and crispy, amazing! Best I've had so far and the caesar salad was so good too! Everything was so fresh and piping hot. I was so stuffed but had to get dessert. The kids got the s'mores (everything homemade, the graham cracker, marshmallow) and the crème brûlée was so creamy and to die for! Omg everything was so good we couldn't be happier. Our server Riann was amazing too!!! This gem is such a great find, so glad we made the trek out to Martinez.

I hate when I come here because I always gotta have the grilled cheese!!! Oh so good and if you counting calories.. just don't. It's so good, huge portion so come on an empty stomach. The server is always very attentive and friendly. Great place highly recommend.

The restaurant is clean organized and Covid protocols as in sanitizer and distance . The wait staff is always so friendly and give good recommendations off the menu. Today I had a hot toddy, which was warm and soothing!! Our table ordered all different plates( asian Chicken salad, sandwich, Mac and cheese, tater tots ) and tried them each, we liked them all. We definitely will be returning again to have lunch.

The food is amazing, delicious with good portions. Sat outside with live music, wonderful. Children dancing in surrounding sidewalks, charming. We relized only one server worked inside and outside tables. The table next to us, locals perhaps, were read the specials (not us) and were attend to frequently. We rarely had contact with our server. 4 back waiters and they were idle, no water refills, etc. nice people but more attention to the front of the house is needed.
