It’s always a pleasure to do events at the Royal Banquet (Both halls). We have done several events here and the service is amazing! Sam Kambo, CEO of Royal Restaurants and Banquet Halls, and his entire team always make sure that everything is done perfectly. Last Saturday, we had another event and this time, it was for my Mom’s birthday. Thank you so much for a meaningful event, Royal Banquet! It exceeded my family’s expectations. I have a perfectionist family and they all were more than pleased by the event. I heard nothing but compliments from the guests. The hall looked fabulous and the food was excellent. My Mom’s Surprise 75th Birthday Party was successful and memorable! Thank you Royal Banquet for all you do! All glory to God! God bless us all!

We had heard about this place from numerous people, so my sister and I decided to set up an appointment with Sam. From the initial consultation, Sam was very professional, accommodating, and very knowledgeable in the hospitality business. He answered all of our questions and concerns. I can tell that Sam was very passionate about planning big events. We had chosen the Diamond Room to honor our mother after the funeral services. I tell you, myself, my family, and our guests were blown away by the venue. From the decor of the Diamond Room, the table settings, stage, sound system, to the food presentation. It was top notch. Just as Sam had promised. He and his staff DELIVERED! I can't even begin to tell you how delicious the food was. The salad was vibrant and fresh. The pot roast was tender and juicy, with lots of flavor. The butter chicken and sauce was remarkable over the rice pilaf. The green beans were even served with some kind of potato wedge. The bread rolls were moist and baked with butter. Afterwards, the guests were offered coffee with cheese cake. They absolutely loved it! In fact, most of the guests were inquiring about having their next big event at the Royal Banquet. Truly, a memorable event and we owe a great gratitude to Sam!

We celebrated my dad’s 90th birthday and parents’ 65th anniversary at RB last month and it turned out fabulous! We had 140 guests and started planning months ahead and Sam put us at ease from the beginning. He and Steve were able to take care of everything from the food to the bar to the DJ and the cake. I had been so worried about the food but it all turned out wonderful both in taste and presentation. They were patient with our questions and changes right to the end. The room looked beautiful and our guests were so impressed. I would not hesitate to have another event there again.

We had our company Christmas party here, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Sam and his team did an amazing job—everyone was incredibly helpful, the service was excellent, and the food was very good. The event turned out beautifully, and our employees gave us a lot of positive feedback. Thank you for helping make our celebration such a success!

Honestly, Royal Banquet Place has the best team for your next party. The owner, Mr. Sam, is the best; he's friendly and will help you with everything to ensure you have an unforgettable party. The Italian food is delicious. I recommend you this venue 100%. You won’t regret it!

We just celebrated my daughter’s 18th Debut party at Royal Banquet. This is our second Debut at RB, and the service and food has always been top notched. The venue is beautiful, spacious, and Sam and his staff have always been helpful, thoughtful and accommodating. We went with one of the packages this time, and glad we did. It took a lot of the prep work out of our hands. Thanks Sam!!!

Sam makes planning a high school banquet EASY! Highly recommend. He was great to work with. Very responsive to emails and questions. It was more than enough space for our players and parents. Upon arrival, the room was set and ready and they did a wonderful job with decor. The servers were very nice and attentive to our needs. The students enjoyed the food, which was plentiful. The butter chicken was a big hit. We played a slideshow on the big screens and it was super easy to set up with HDMI connection. We also played music from an iPhone. The connection for their sound is AUX so if you have a new iPhone, bring a dongle for connecting to their sound system. (Apple Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter) What is great about this venue is it's a one stop shop. We didn't have to outsource anything. Would definitely use again.

This place hosts events and weddings! The building is really large inside, and wow they have amazing Indian food. The service is also Fantastic! All the employees are so kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place for any events!

Royal Banquet at Royal India Mira Mesa has a beautiful banquet location. their chicken dish was tasty if the chicken portion was a bit small, with 4 kebab pieces, lots of gold candelabra center pieces and some large crystal chandeliers, lending the location elegance and, with vibrant orange stage backdrop, flair! check in on Yelp when you're their to get a discount on booking the hall for your next occasion!

Gorgeous venue! Their dance floor is huge, see through and lit up too which I've never seen! The venue's food was delicious and they did a great job on decorations. The chairs, table linens, plates and cutlery are top notch. The chandeliers are really pretty. This place is ready for your big party or wedding!

A few weeks ago we celebrated our daughter's Quinceanera (15's party). A beautiful celebration we had for our daughter because the entire Royal Banquet team did their best to make our event so spectacular. All of our guests congratulated us for the beautiful party because everything was great, from the Diamond Hall venue decoration, delicious food (Indi Food), and of course the service. And here I want to emphasize this because all the treatment and service was top class, since our first meeting with Sam - the Team Principal- he attended us in a very kind and professional way. We were very clear about the budget we had and we worked with that, we never felt harassed by the fact that he wanted to sell us more expensive services, and I'm saying this, because before getting to Royal Banquet we visited several other venues and we felt harassed because they always wanted to sell us the most expensive package for the largest number of guests that you may not even have, but not with Sam He is such a great guy. So based on our own experience we don't hesitate at all to highly recommend Royal Banquet services for your special events. We thank our Lord Jesus that let us celebrate this special day with friends and family we love.

I have no words to express my gratitude to Sam at Royal India! From start to finish, he was AMAZING! He is such a kind soul. Our daughter's Sangeet was a beautiful event and PERFECT in every way. The hall is so spacious and stunning! The food was amazing! The staff went above and beyond for our guests. Sam helped me out with other vendors to make the place look and feel like I was back home in India. I had guests raving about the hall and the food all evening long. If I had to do it all over again, I would not change a thing. It could only be Royal India Banquet Hall!

We had our Annual Dining Out (formal banquet for the Army that allows guests to attend) on January 5th here. Months before the Event: I spoke to Mr. Kambo (Sam) in regards to our budget plus the acceptance of our traditional Army requirements for a Dining Out. He agreed and worked with us on all aspects and stated he wanted us to have a great event. We established the closing costs and we were shocked at how much more affordable this venue was compared to the other 11 we inquired about! Weeks before the Event: We met with Mr. Kambo to go over the cuisine - we chose an American/Indian buffet - and it didn't disappoint. He was very accommodating and even threw in set up, clean up, audio/visual, and full on plate ware with decorations for a small fee! That's awesome! We would've been way to inebriated to try and clean up after. The Event: We had slight AV issues because we were unfamiliar with the system. I called Mr. Kambo and he showed up and made everything work! This man can do everything. We kept to the timeline and had an awesome time with our Alumni, Soldiers, and Guests. We invited Mr. Kambo as well for his outstanding support to our Unit. Everything went off very smoothly and his Manager, Ranj, was extremely attentive to detail. His staff was willing and polite. He gave us a freebie entertainment during our dinner and it blew us all away! The decorations and the set up of the hall was immaculate. We will definitely look forward to working with Royal Banquet and Mr. Kambo again. Things to note: Army Banquets such as the event have a time honored tradition that requires us to bring our own alcohol for a custom to uphold. Mr. Kambo didn't have an issue about this at all and it was our biggest deciding factor for the decided venue. Mr. Kambo worked with us on our budget and there was literally no other venue that could match his. His staff was all very polite and respectful. He supports the Military 110%. I would recommend any branch to have their ball (for you USN/USMC folks), Dining In/Out (for the Army) here! Attached are some photos from the night! We had our kid's Bat Mitzvah party here last month and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. Sam the owner was extremely accommodating and nothing within reason was a problem, plus he offers many options and has great lighting and decor! The event was awesome and the staff and manager were very professional. Thank you and I definitely recommend this venue for any event!

I had my sangeet here in April 2018. The staff and owner are super friendly. The food and space were excellent for the pre party for my wedding. Sam made sure that everything was setup correctly. The decorations were amazing as well. My family and friends really enjoyed the hall and the food and were quite impressed with both. All I heard was good stuff about this place and alot of out of town guests wished there was something like this in their area. Thanks Sam and staff for a job well done!

"Luxurious experience at an affordable price." Royal Banquet, Sam their GM, and their staff definitely delivered on this promise! Stop in to check out the venue and you won't be disappointed! It's spacious, clean, and can be dressed up for any occasion - although much, if anything, is not needed. Their "standard" chairs are premium upgrades elsewhere. The LED lights that surround the space can also be changed to any color and are impressive when all on. There's also plenty of parking in the evening. The food was delicious! For our party we ordered from the American buffet menu (there's four other cuisine types to choose from). I honestly was a bit hesitant given that the food comes from the restaurant (Royal India which serves Indian food) next door, but I was very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed every bite! I can't say enough good things about Sam the GM. He's a very nice guy and made the planning process hassle-free! Checking out other venues and dealing with their representatives really felt like buying a used car; however Sam provides packages to fit any budget and was more than fair with accommodations. I'd absolutely recommend Royal Banquet for events!!

This venue is awesome! Beautiful, spacious, clean and excellent service! We were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. We needed a venue for our mom's surprise birthday and retirement party and we were so lucky the date was available. Our guests raved about how nice this place is. I wish it was here when I got married I definitely would have considered this place for our reception. They have everything from linens, to centerpieces and audio visual equipment. They made planning our event so easy and Sam was so kind and accommodating. Thank you Royal Banquet!

I recently booked with Royal Banquet Hall for a work event in which we had a celebration and with various speakers. We had Indian food served family style. There was more than enough food per table and our guests enjoyed the different cuisine. We actually ordered a side salad as our safe option and it was barely touched in comparison to the other dishes. We had shahi-mango for dessert which is non-dairy and everyone loved it! We also had a cake that the venue let us bring. Room décor was great, we had a breakfast buffet set-up to the left side (if you are facing the stage) and had water pitchers on the table. We brought in our own centerpieces (menu cards on easels and flower arrangements in mason jars). The only décor I would change is to request the lights on the stage to not change colors. I didn't catch it until we had our speakers already on the stage. Another note - I would recommend requesting cordless mics early in advance. One mic had a long enough cord to reach the stage but the other one was fairly short and had to stay near the podium. I worked with Randy that day who was very accommodating and any requests we had he was able to get done with ease. For example, we had a couple of guests who had another meeting to attend so he boxed up their lunches for them. Prior to our event, I was working with Sam to coordinate logistics. He was easy to reach and communicate with. I enjoyed working with Sam very much. He was quick to respond and accommodated our requests. I would definitely recommend them. They worked with us and were very considerate of our budget. They also set-up the room nicely and was very accommodating with any requests we had. They really worked hard to make the event great for our guests. The only con I had was that sometimes if the kitchen door was left a little open and you sat towards the back, you could hear the kitchen staff working. I recommend having all doors shut during your event if it is similar to ours in which we had guest speakers. This sound issue may not be as relevant for weddings or parties with music playing.

I have been meaning to write this review from my Company Christmas party in December 2017, and I am so sorry that I waited this long. But as they say, it's better late than never! First of all, Sam is such a wonderful, accommodating person. He had made sure that all our needs &wants were executed so beautifully. This banquet hall is attached to his restaurant called Royal India &both area decors are so elegant &inviting. Parking is plenty so you won't need to worry about parking spaces. The package that we chose included, decorations, a buffet for over 100 people. I think around 150? He also included an open bar &fire show that was by the way, sooooooooooo amazing! The food were delicious! I believe that there were plenty of food that people were able to come back for seconds.... maybe even thirds! haha. Anyway, our party was so fun, elegant &surely a memorable one that we are thinking of having our next Christmas party here. Just need to vote on it &reach back to Sam for more details. Crossing fingers that we get to pick this place again! Thank you, Sam for going above &beyond for Carmel Mountain Rehab and Healthcare!

Beautiful beautiful beautiful establishment !!! We had our wedding ceremony here & it was a blast! Sam & his staff took care of us! No stress at all!! Prices are low, very negotiable. We can't thank them enough for the night we had!

The best Indian food i have ever had in my life and great service from Garry the waiter ! Recommend for great food and service

I recently had my debut (Filipino 18th birthday/coming of age party) here at Royal Banquet. Sam made the whole process so easy for us and he definitely made me feel more at ease about the party. We managed to put the whole party together in one month, and Sam always went out of his way to help us out. I loved how all the setup, cleanup, and everything else in between was done for us all. That definitely took a huge weight off of our shoulders. We brought in our own DJ, a family friend of ours. The venue was beautifully decorated and all the guests were impressed by how organized the debut was, and most importantly, how BEAUTIFUL the venue was. The place was spotless, spacious, and fairly new from the looks of it. Every detail was beautiful-- from the chandeliers to the chairs. We managed to fit 200 people in the venue and a photo booth. All the guests enjoyed the food served as well, which is the best part of any party isn't it? I highly recommend booking Royal Banquet for any of your upcoming special events, whether it be a wedding, debut, or anything else. It is so worth it and Sam will make sure that everything is done in an orderly fashion. Thank you Sam and thank you Royal Banquet for the most memorable night of my life!!

If there was an option for more than 5 stars I would choose it! we recently had our wedding reception here and the process from start to end was amazing! Sam the owner is so personable and really works with you to get the concept of the theme you're going for your event and makes sure you get it! He is a very busy man managing two Royal India locations which surprised me on how QUICK he is to answer communication on email and phone! it was so easy keeping in touch with him! our wedding had a plated Italian dinner and it was delicious!! our guests were raving about it. you have to try the samosas also! we incorporated it into our appetizer. the night of the wedding, the hall was placed as requested, the bartenders and servers were all polite and professional and also parking is very spacious here! there are lots of close hotels also if you have heavy drinkers in the family (also this venue allowed us to bring our own alcohol, big win in our book) and the positives can go on and on. thank you so much Sam and Royal Banquet Staff, my wedding reception was perfect thanks to you guys!

We recently had a sweet sixteen event for a family member of mine at Royal Banquet and let me tell you that the experience we had was horrible. I am going to start by saying that the owner of Royal Banquet will promise you everything from making your event memorable and having the best staff but in reality doesn't care one bit how your event really turns out. Well, there is one thing his going to care about your money and that you pay him the most money to make the most profit out of you and not really have one bit of consideration on how your event really turns out. We got the full package and agreed that all guests would be served soda and have access to an open bar. Well, guess what on the day of the event none of my guests were served soda and when requested to have the servers go around and served soda the manager from the event gave me that look like "no we don't care and will not do it". I had to suffer the embarrassment of my guests drinking water all night long just cause the event manager failed to care for what I was requesting and that was to have all guests be served soda at their tables. Now let's move on to the open bar let me tell you what that includes, Bud light can beer that the bartender ran out of within the first hour and some cheap tequila that you can find at the liquor store for a few bucks. I can't really express how embarrassed I was with my guests. I so till this day regret having my event here. Please don't make the same mistake I did. The event manager doesn't really care much for any problems that arise on the day of the event, he will ignore your requests and act like he's doing you a favor by having you and your guests there. He will have no sympathy for you or any of your guests. At end of the day, you already paid and that's what they really cared about. If you read the reviews for Royal India you will find some reviews that pertain to different people that were unhappy with the event and catering service this place offers. If you really want to have a memorable experience, I would really stay away from this place the money you pay for is worth way more than what you really get. I really wish I had done my research and read the reviews under Royal India beforehand and maybe I would have looked at other options instead of having an embarrassing night in front of my guests.

This was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I had my debutante in this venue (a traditional big party for when Filipino women turn 18). The food and the service were amazing. The venue was so beautiful. Everything was perfect. Sam was also very helpful during the entire process! Thank you so much for making the night special and I will definitely come back here again!
