Wow, such a unique place, in both the interior aesthetic and the composition of the drinks! They have a few seasonal drinks that we tried, the salted watermelon tonic and the Miami vice. Both very delicious in their own way and unlike any coffee beverage I’ve ever had before. I absolutely loved the strawberry cold foam on the Miami vice drink, and it’s made vegan! The lounge area is a modern/eclectic/retro vibe with a variety of tables with convenient outlets….I’ll definitely be back to chill and get some work done!!

Best Coffee Experience in Columbus. Hands Down! The pour overs can't be beat and the award winning coffee will taste insanely delicious while giving you the "oomph" you are looking for to kick the party into high gear! Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere, makes you feel like you are on a vacation somewhere swanky, yet comfy/cozy. The service is stellar, just like having coffee at a friend's house, except that your friend is highly educated in the perfect pour-over, and/or why a certain bean tastes that way. Ask to chat with beautiful Beth about how they found the best of the best beans to bring back to share with all of us! Thank you for bringing your dream to Columbus!

Royal Flamingo is warm and inviting, our kids love hanging out there with us too. The staff is incredibly friendly, always welcoming and ready to make your visit memorable. Let them assist you making decisions, they’ll direct you to a perfect cup! The coffee is a true experience you won't regret. Don’t skip this coffee stop!

We had just finished up at Emmett’s in German village when some friends invited us over to try Royal Flamingo-how can you say no?? It was worth the trek, we both got iced chai’s with oat milk and it was fantastic. Great little spot in Grandview, staff was so friendly-shop was quiet even for a weekend.

Don't miss this gem! My family and I stopped in this past weekend while passing through. The atmosphere was so cozy – the perfect place to relax. My latte was unique and delicious. The owner was so friendly and took the time to chat with us about their different roasts. If you're anywhere near Columbus, Royal Flamingo is a must-visit for any coffee lover. Sorry the lattes are half drank before I took a picture...they were so delicious! We'll be back!

This is such a lovely cafe, the atmosphere is welcoming, the service is great, and the coffee is delicious and fairly priced. I was able to come early and sat tucked away in a corner to people watch. The baristas were friendly and patient with new comers like myself and were knowledgeable about their cafes offerings. Being able to just sit and enjoy a cup of good coffee is rare for me these days, so I was very much pleased with finding this spot to enjoy.

Literally the best coffee in Columbus... drip, latte's, white flats, straight spro, etc. but the CREME DE LA CREME... mad roasting genius Bryan's pourovers... there's a reason people were begging Bryan and Beth to open their own coffee shop. Anyone in the coffee scene in Columbus who has heard of RF knows they are top notch. Bryan, Beth and all staff are down to earth, professional, knowledgeable and just coffee lovers. Coming from a pourover-lover, the experimentals, multiple roasting methodds, regions, etc. Best beans you can get in Columbus. 10/10 rec for anyone if you want actually good coffee... something cheap, something like an ice cream on top of coffee... NO. But real coffee for real lovers... YES. Alright I'm done.

Absolutely fantastic coffee. I had the Salted Watermelon Espresso Tonic and it was probably the best espresso drink I’ve had! Definitely making more trips here to try out more of what they have!

Is it weird that this place always reminds me of Central Perk on Friends? It feels like someone could just break out a guitar and start singing at any moment. Lots of groups of people kicking it on a Saturday - reading, chatting, knitting, studying, whatever. This is not a place to come for a quick takeout coffee pickup. They are into coffee as a craft and they usually have a line. You will likely wait a bit for your order to be ready. There are a few breakfast pastry choices, but no other food served. Staff is great. As others have already pointed out, this is very STRONG coffee and the drinks are not made creamy or sweet here. The drinks are definitely intense compared to your usual coffee shop latte. Honestly, I am not their target coffee style audience (light and sweet please) but still appreciate what they are doing here.

This coffee roaster has one of the hidden gems in the city and word is getting out. I say hidden because it's inside of Natalie's and shares a space with the I Like It Like That speakeasy. They're roasting some of the best coffee grown around the world and they're doing some inventive things with it. My daily order is the single origin espresso but if the have a special tonic or latte on the menu ... order it.

The cutest coffee shop in Granview. Plenty of parking and easy to find right off Kind Ave. Step inside and take in the freshly roasted coffee smell...ahhh. It's like a caffeine high for your senses. I ordered a hot coffee, "buy myself flowers" with oat milk. A calming and smooth finish with the notes of lavender coming through. A warm hug in a cup giving me all the vibes. Pick up a cup, or two and don't miss their merch table with prepacked coffee beans. Don't mind me when you see me here often.

Really cute coffee shop by day and the "I Like It Like That" bar by night. It's cramped in here, but it has that small business coffeeshop vibe to it that makes the small spaces more tolerable. If you're someone who loves the literal taste of coffee AND the variances of the flavors you can get into the coffee beans themselves by changing the bean preparation, you're going to love the Royal Flamingo drinks. They feel like someone who really loves coffee homebrewing was in charge of the drink's menu and bean creation. Their flavor profiles are very unique and very coffee-heavy. This isn't like a Starbucks or chain coffee latte where you're primarily slurping syrup. There's a whole lot of complex flavor within every sip at Royal Flamingo's drinks, and they're very, very coffee-forward. I'd recommend it for people who love the actual taste of coffee, but I'd just as surely say it's a bad fit for my friends who actually just love the taste of creamer. (I get most of my lattes at other competitors with "half" or "1/4th" the usual level of syrups in their flavored lattes. I made no modifications to my Royal Flamingo order, and it still was much, much less sweetened than other chains.) Getting a drink to go here took 10-ish minutes. They have adorable to-go cups, but it's not the most efficient way to gulp down coffee to sustain life in the morning. Their glassware and presentation is upscale and encourages that "sit and socialize" vibe, though, so I'd love to meet up with someone here with the shop's limited seating options. Getting into Royal Flamingo is just as weird as the evening bar; go in through the covered patio's door. There's a gigantic parking lot behind Royal Flamingo for parking, but I'll note that it was swamped on Sunday around church time. I think there's a church across the street that's using the parking lot too.

The reviews live up to the hype! This little coffee shop is hidden in plain sight directly inside the I Like It Like That Bar. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by various amounts of flamingo decor and a beautiful coffee bar. The menu has a ton of options on it and the prices are set well for the local area. The Barista's in house were excellent at answering questions as we were in there looking for a few Christmas gifts. The seating inside was super unique, a ton of out-coves around the bar with eclectic seating throughout the small area. I would recommend the Barista Flight if this is your first visit as it encompasses many of their fantastic offerings. The cherry espresso hit the top spot on my list as it was thick, flavorful, and bursting with cherry. I am definitely adding this spot to my local tours when people come to visit, nice work all!

Popped in on a Friday morning with a couple of coffee loving friends. Royal Flamingo has such a cozy & eclectic vibe that I really enjoyed, and the staff were very friendly. I don't consider myself to be a super adventurous coffee person, but Royal Flamingo makes it easy to try new things. They have a classic menu with more familiar options and a more unique menu with fun options. I opted for a seasonal latte from the Super Fun menu. I couldn't tell you what it was, but I really enjoyed it. Typically I like sweeter drinks but the flavor profile was very balanced and I didn't feel like it needed any added sweetness. It was a really nice experience and I'm sure I'll visit again. If you're a coffee lover and like to try new flavor profiles, I definitely recommend checking out Royal Flamingo!

I'm from out of town, and I had some time to kill today and needed coffee! After I got past the "Where the heck am I allowed to park?" situation (just park on the street), it was a very nice experience! The atmosphere is very comfortable and definitely has a hipster lounge vibe. It's fantastic, and artsy, and I had some beadwork to do, so it was perfect. The people behind the counter were so nice and I said "Make me something creative" and it did not disappoint. It was a garden something.... Delicious! I felt old in there, but they didn't kick me out Just wish I could make it a regular stop. Very cool place!

Love coming here once a week. Plenty of booths and tables. When it's nice out they have a large covered patio. They rotate some coffees about once every 3 months. Highly recommend especially if true coffee connoisseur.

Hole in the wall! Nothing outside matches the inside. Coffee was incredibly good!! Each rooms kinda have its own character and colors. Very vibrant! Love it!

This is the single best coffee shop in Columbus (followed closely by Two Tigers Coffee and Cafe Brioso). And it's because they mirror the home experience of coffee consumption - their pour overs take time. They source beans with unique flavors. They're properly dialing in their espresso and tinkering with details because coffee can be fun and delicious and amazing and wonderful. Every time Ive entered this incredibly unique spot, the decor and charm has captured my attention; it's warm and inviting, cozy but playful. But again, this place is made by coffee lovers FOR coffee lovers. And each time I visit, I'm excited to try something new and wonderful, to see what kind of exciting flavor I'm able to get within the world of coffee. And Royal Flamingo never fails to meet, and subsequently exceed, that challenge.

Excellent customer service and a cool vibe! Coffee is outstanding!!! Parking is rough especially if you have accessibility issues. However, this isn't their fault since they're operating out of a space that is home to another business. Highly recommend!!!
