Best street vendor in New York 2018. I can see why. I usually just get a hot dog but we decided to try the curry chicken over rice. I have to say it has a lot a flavor very juicy and a bit of heat. I’ve been here a few times and he tried to give me a deal but I added an extra tip because service is phenomenal for a street vendor.

The food here is absolutely delicious- I had to come back the very next day. The chicken masala is a must try, which I highly recommend it. The owner and staff are incredibly kind, friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The potion size are generous and you truly get more than what you pay for. I’ll definitely be returning.

Absolutely delicious food, great service and absolute bang for the buck! Mohammad Hussein and team are masters of their craft – a true culinary delight is always on the menu! I got Chicken Tikka over rice, and this has been by far the best I've ever had. Chef's kiss 🤌

BEST LUNCH SPOT around, doesnt matter what season. Delicious food, always cooked to the best quality. Spicy Chicken Tikka is my personal favorite. The owner and staff are very nice and welcoming and always greet you with a smile. I would wait for the food in the rain, snow, and heat.

Wow - perhaps my best meal in NYC. Chef quality preparation in a food cart, the rice in biryanis was perfect cooked. The lamb and chicken with tender with a crispy texture and seasoning was just about the right level of high spice I asked for.
After talking with the chef, no wonder. They have been in this business for 35 years, trained at some of the most demanding places in India and serve with hospitality that is direct but incredibly genuine if you understand the culture of artisan old school chefs from Indian subcontinent.

Easily best food cart in midtown. Probably the best overall for Indian/desi food as well. I've ordered from many many places, even white table cloth places charging multiples more and nothing compares to the flavors, freshness and friendly service. Chicken kati roll stands out, but biryani, and chicken over rice are both amazing.
