New Orleans Breweries Offering Beer To-Go Amid Coronavirus Restrictions | Eater New Orleans

"Call or message Royal Brewery to arrange for a pickup of its craft beer, seven days a week. Mix and match cases (24 12oz bottles) are available for $45.00 per case, and Bomber bottles of Bourbon Diablo are $12 each. As a bonus, Royal Brewery works with Glass Half Full Nola to get their bottles (and others) recycled." - Clair Lorell

Best Beer Spots in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"Raymond and Mandy Pumilia have been doing some heavy lifting bringing the first (but rumor has it, not the last!) brewery to New Orleans East. Royal Brewery stays open during the weekend and brings a lot to the table to entice you out that way. First of all, their live music offerings are the best any brewery in this city has. Second, delicious beer! In addition to their three flagship beers - Culicidae Ale, Termite Lager, and Chevelle Diablo Porter - they offer taproom only specials like Thor’s Hammered Belgian Ale or Black Panther Black IPA. So make the trek - it’s an adventure of awesome." - Nora McGunnigle

This hotel is very clean and safe. Everything is easy to get to from this hotel. Service was great. There is a Walmart, waffle House, shopping centers in walking distance and it is very quiet so you will be able to sleep peacefully. Thank you for the hospitality.

This was one of the dirtiest hotels. I have stayed in in a long time. This should be one of those hotels that they charge by the hour. There are prostitutes walking up and down the area, which is not very appealing for a family. The owner was trying to persuade me to trade my two beds for one king size bed because he was getting offered $500 for a twin bed room. The phone was missing all the buttons, and the phone was just the prop.

I would give this ZERO stars if I could!! Stayed there end of 2024 and it was FILTHY. The ac was brown gunky covered in YEARS of dust. Like you could scrape it off and it would be brown sticky dust/ dirt from dust and moisture collecting for GOD knows how long....The pillow case and towels had black marks all over them. Like they were used to clean a car or something. The walls also had black marks on them. Has not been professionally cleaned in YEARS. Crud all in the cracks and corners btwn floor and base boards..light switches were dirty. I was scared to touch anything. They left an open roll of toilet paper out. Like they expect someone to use it...? Shower and sink were not well kept. The ice bucket and tp holder were grody. Microwave was DISGUSTING, I wouldn't use it. I was terrified of getting bed bugs so I slept on top of flat sheet and felt itchy all night. No lamps just one over head florescent light that made me wana **** myself. SO depressing and miserable! There's no lobby or breakfast / coffee bar and 1 parking spot for checkin bc it's just a driveway with gate. Nice for "security" but just makes me feel more unsafe that it's necessary. The kicker is I asked to SEE a room before I booked bc the motel I was at had black mold on their AC and wood molding around the door. The ceiling had water damage. I couldn't stay there. But THEY gave me full refund. These CROOKS showed me a room and said "all the rooms are the same" then put me in a different room after I booked. And it was god awful. I told the guy who checked me in about the dirty pillow (before I saw the towels) and said I wasn't happy here and asked for refund, I would stay that night and pay but wanted the rest refunded. He said ok, stay tonight and come in the morning for refund. Well it was a different guy in the morning, he called his manager who said no refund, can give me another room but the day before they told me they were booked....it was letting me book online so they let me. Suspicious. I told them the other guy (gave them his name) told me I could get refund in the morning. They said the night guy can't do that, you had to come in the morning to ask for one but manager was refusing. I said I'm gona write a review if you don't and he started YELLING at me and said that's your choice, you can have a different room. & that was the cherry on top. Gaslighting must be a prerequisite for being a CROOK.

This hotel was okay. Prices are a little high. Not many people were there during my stay. Mostly like 3 other cars in the parking lot. Biggest complaint, I was getting ice and had a guy ask me if I was getting ice. I said yeah then he asked me what room I was in. As if i was stealing ice or something? Never seen that dude except that one time. It wasn't a bad stay but I will not come back.

I stayed here last minute for two nights with a friend for Independence Day. Its only 15 minutes drive from the French Quarter. The room was very clean- I made a request when booking to ensure its cleanliness due to my allergies and they certainly complied. When I checked in, the manager, Tommy, told me he lit a candle to help. I'm not sure how a candle would help with allergies, but it was sure smelled nice! And it showed they actually paid attention and cared about my comfort. The bathroom was pretty spotless, but was lacking in some stuff. There were no towel racks, so if I wanted to reuse a towel there really wasn't any place to put it. No handsoap, which wasn't a big deal because the typical body bar and shampoo were provided. Tip for parking in the French Quarter: the parking plaza at the convention center charges $40 for covered parking and $30 for rooftop. Its easy to walk to the Quarter, and easy to find your way back in the dark with all the neon lights for the hotels and casino guiding your way.

The good: Sheets and bedding we're clean and well maintained. Parking lot was on good condition. Very hot shower, working mini fridge. The bad: Microwave was broken and made an absolutely aweful noise when we tried to use it. Wifi was horrible, barely usable when you got it to work. We were there 3 nights and the Internet worked for 20 minutes the second night on one computer, phones and other laptop couldn't use it.

This was a clean, truly smoke free room. This never pretended to be something it was not just a very good room and a very good price. it was close to a bus line that takes you right down town.||Personally I was only there to sleep grab a shower and run which was just fine at here. The bed was good, it must have been because when I hit the sheets I slept, no noise or disturbance.

My husband and I stayed here during a long weekend visit to New Orleans in December 2014. The staff was super helpful! (THANKS ADAM AND LARA!!) We loved the room, it was nice and big, cool living room and bedroom areas, and nice bathroom. We felt like we were staying in a cool apartment and were locals! The location was amazing also, close to the good music on Frenchman Street and walking distance to the craziness of Bourbon Street. The R Bar downstairs was a great place to have a drink before starting the evening and for a nightcap (I believe its open until 4 or 5am). We did not have any problems with bar or street noise at all. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to feel like you're a NOLA local.

Yelp
So after being eaten alive by whatever blood sucking insects they have in these beds it's safe to say WE ARE NEVER COMING BACK ‼, the manager said he called the supervisor and the supervisor said he just checked this particular room for BED BUGS and he didn't see any....well why were you even checking this particular room for exactly what bit me all up?!?! Did someone b4 me have the same problem?? I a customer is telling you u have something in your beds that are biting them up it's not ur position to argue with us that u don't (when you clearly do) it's your position to fix it!!! NOBODY want to get bit at a place they paid to have a good nights sleep.

Yelp
I booked this place last minute when I realized Mardi Gras was happening and as soon as I pulled in, I knew it was a huge mistake. Upon entering my room and bathroom I looked up at the light above the mirror and saw a spoon. Upon further inspection, it turned out to be either a crack or heroin spoon that someone had used to cook the drugs. I immediately brought my gun inside and continuously checked on my vehicle. To say I was frightened for my safety would be a huge understatement. I tried to get a refund but the guy barely spoke English and wouldn't give me one so although I paid, I left early. Bad times at the El Royale.

Yelp
Funny immediately after posting my first review I start getting calls from guys wanting to know if they can come over. This manager placed an ad in a classified using the number that I only give out to motels like his so I dont have to be bothered ever again. Nice try...

Yelp
Probably my worst experience at a motel. Stayed here on 08/14. I would have given this place One Star, but the staff was nice & friendly. They encouraged me to get a room in the front. There was no one in the room next to me. The staff told me where to find some food. The hotel is in a run down area, but cheap. My room was quiet most of the time. There were a number of unsavory characters and questionable activity in the parking lot . I saw a fight between two girls there. I did not feel comfortable leaving my room, especially after dark. The bathroom stank, like arm pit. I either had to close the bathroom door, or hold breath when I went in there. The bed/chairs were nasty, I found some pubicle hairs on the comforter. I never felt so scared sleeping in a bed before. The wifi, cable, & AC were all working.

Yelp
Room was clean. Affordable. Grounds are clean. Owners were accommodating. No problems. Always a plus! An inexpensive Uber ride to downtown and Bourbon street. I

Yelp
The staff was great. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was close to everything including the Beach! The wifi was strong which was important to me. It's not a luxury hotel nor was it brand new but it provided great value. Five stars for greatly surpassing my expectations.
