We had a wonderful time at the Royal Lancaster on a five night family trip. Lucy in Guest Relations warmly welcomed us (and also checked in on our departure), which was a very thoughtful touch. On arrival, it was a huge deal that our room was ready after our overnight flight. I had no expectation that this could happen and it was such a great surprise as it helped us freshen up quickly and tackle a first day of sightseeing. Our room was beautiful and we especially loved the large tub. Our kids very much enjoyed the special touches directed at them, like an in-room note and treat, smaller versions of robe/slippers and fun bath products. The view was also so pretty especially at night and we loved being across from Hyde Park. Everyone we came across was friendly and helpful, including reception, concierge, bell services, door man and dining. We very much enjoyed the breakfast. Even though it was crowded on the weekends, we were able to get promptly seated and served. It was a great way to start each day and I appreciate that the included cost allowed for both the buffet as well as a la carte made to order offerings. I’m bummed we didn’t get to try the other on-site dining options, especially Nipa Thai. We did appreciate the 24/7 in-room dining and the availability of many local and diverse restaurants. We made use of multiple transportation options and jaunted all over London and even to some sites a bit further away. While I can appreciate some deciding to stay more in the city center, for us, the size of the room and beds coupled with the park and other amenities at the hotel more than justified spending a little bit more time traveling to certain sites. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and very much hope to return!

Great hotel!! Very high class and gives that feeling when you walk in the front door. Not cheap! We had a great 2 night stay! My only beef was a simple late checkout request. I was in London for a conference that ended at 2:30 in the afternoon. That 30 minutes was perfect for me to walk 10 minutes front the conference location, to the hotel, quickly change and prepare for our next train journey. When I requested this, the front desk gave no thought to my request. The reply was an instant, "no". We are fully booked and yet me colegue, who was at the same conference was granted late checkout. This left a bad taste in my mouth. I had to leave my conference early to get my things done without the convenience of a room. Very disappointed!

From the moment we arrived at the hotel everything was seamless. Not only are you greeted at the door by a huge smile, the hotel smells amazing, then lovely reception staff, hotel bedroom and the view was beautiful. At breakfast, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. We drank in the lounge bar in the evening, Mohamed and Luigi were just lovely, we ate in Nipa Thai…. Food amazing, staff so attentive and so so friendly with top class service. Even the room maid, in our bathroom she made all my toiletries so tidy. It made my husband’s “big birthday” so incredibly special . After 11 years in Central London in hospitality myself, it is so incredibly lovely to see a hotel that really really do look after their guests and have staff that genuinely love their jobs

Great hotel, located right across the road from Hyde Park. Easy walking distance to two different tube stations so easy to fly around london. Rooms were quiet and well appointed, the bed was so cozy it was hard to leave. Great views over the park and the London skyline. Service was excellent. Seamless check-in and our room happened to be ready early which was great after a day of travel. Breakfast was a standout with an amazing selection of English and Continental options from the buffet. We also had a dinner at the amazing Thai restaurant on site which had some great fusion options to try. Would highly recommend this property and would be keen to stay again when i come back to London.

We stayed here a couple of nights after our cruise. The hotel was great and the staff even better. We found our room to be smaller than expected but served our purpose. I think one of the best things about this hotel is their staff. They are friendly and attentive. We had the opportunity to eat two breakfasts at the hotel and found them both to be excellent, from choices to actual tastes. The location is good, right next to Hyde Park with a tube station very close also. My hats off to the hotel staff as they represent the best of people. They treat you as we all want to be treated. With warmth, kindness and respect. Thank you for a nice stay, hopefully we will get the chance again for a much longer stay.

The location and views of Hyde Park and the London skyline were awesome. But the most important things about a hotel and the hotel room are the people and the odor in the room. People tend to overlook the importance of the air in a hotel room but it is very important. The first impression one forms when entering a hotel room comes from the air. Fresh, neutral odor air immediately tells the guest that the room is clean and inviting. The people at the Royal Lancaster were friendly and helpful. And the air in the room was fresh and odor free. So, I have very good stays, three of them. And I plan to return every time I come to London. The only problem is the location. It is so good I didn't spend as much time in my spectacular room that it deserved. A daily run in The Park and a convenient jump onto the Central Line for the quick trip to The West End.||PS The Thai Restaurant is awesome.

We chose this hotel for its location, views, and value. We wanted connecting rooms with one king and two twins, not easy to find in London. The rooms were beautiful, the service was excellent, the breakfast buffet was gorgeous and the views of the huge trees in Hyde Park just outside the window made for a peaceful, restorative atmosphere. Will definitely choose this hotel for our next stay.

Another outstanding stay at The Royal Lancaster Hotel. I’ve been staying here for a good few years and it never fails to disappoint. The rooms are beautifully presented as are the foyer, bar area and breakfast room. The breakfast is one of the best around and has even improved since I’ve been coming here, made all the more special with the hotels own honeycomb! |All of the staff are incredible and a special shoutout to Doreen for making our doggy extremely welcome. Thank you so much!
