Terrible emergency department. Avoid this place if you can.
I don’t think the hospital itself is bad, but the emergency department is worst and completely out of control. No one answers questions, and because there are so many frustrated patients, the staff themselves seem irritated and insensitive.
After waiting for 8 hours (9:00 to 17:00) without any clear information, despite pain, we eventually had to leave and seek care elsewhere.
If there is this much chaos, is it really that difficult to implement a simple text notification system that alerts patients few hours before it’s their turn? This would allow people to manage their time better, rather than waiting for hours in an already crowded space. Is everyone’s time really so worthless?
What’s most shocking is that you are apparently not even allowed to ask questions. You can’t ask how many people are ahead of you or roughly how long it will take to see a doctor. Why shouldn’t a patient have access to this basic information? If you ask anything, staff become angry and rude, as if you asked something completely inappropriate.
If walk-in clinics were better organized—whether by appointment or without—perhaps so many people wouldn’t be forced to crowd emergency departments. The situation keeps getting worse. The doctors themselves are good, but this kind of disorganization wouldn’t even be acceptable in underdeveloped countries.
The system clearly needs to change—starting with this emergency department. patients deserve clearer communication, better organization, and a more respectful use of their time.
