Hi!
I’d like to express my appreciation for our cruise PIC, Christian (hope I got his name right). He has been incredibly responsible and provided us with a lot of support throughout the trip. Christian was genuinely concerned about everyone’s well-being and made sure we were all taken care of.
During the trip, he even helped me and two other Chinese guests when we ran out of cash and wanted to buy souvenirs on the last island we visited. Additionally, when I went snorkeling and my mask wasn’t functioning properly, he gave me his own mask. And he had to use the one I gave him, which was leaking water. He saved me as a hero!
I wasn’t able to tip him more since I didn’t have any Rupiah cash left, but I truly appreciated his help. I also realized how exhausting the cruise must be—after returning home, it took me a week to fully recover. Yet, Christian resumed his job immediately after the trip, meaning he works continuously on the cruise.
I don’t know how much he earns, but based on his efforts and hard work, I believe he deserves more recognition and reward. His cheerful energy is important for the overall experience of everyone onboard, and it’s clear he goes above and beyond for guests.
*Another suggestion:* the snorkeling equipment on board might need a review. I was the last person to choose my fins and mask, and there weren’t enough suitable options. Many of the items were too old, broken, or didn't fit properly. I think an update would improve the experience for future guests.
I would greatly appreciate it if my feedback is taken into consideration, and I would be more than happy if the team could share this with Christian and his team. Everyone was helpful and did an excellent job!
