The 38 Best Restaurants in Calgary, Canada | Eater

"After closing his famed eatery Anju, Roy Oh took nearly two years to reemerge in the city’s food scene. Now, people flock to his Mission restaurant, Roy’s Korean Kitchen, to eat the chef’s long-standing specialties like oxtail tortellini, crispy tofu with maple sesame kimchi, and pork belly with lemon aioli. Oh serves up Korean barbecue platters, too, as well as plenty of soju. [$$-$$$]" - Dan Clapson

Friendly staff, now Cafe Ana with Roy’s Restaurant sells a few take out items. Friendly staff & relaxed environment. Reasonable prices, great snacks and baked items like the cookies.

Wings and nori tots were good, but the brussels sprouts were too burnt and tasted butter.

My wife and I popped into Roy's last night. It's a bit hard to find, it's in the main floor of the Heritage building on MacLeod Tr. It's not like a regular restaurant as it's in the atrium of the building. Do Not let that stop you. The food is blow your mind good. We had the Soy Maple Brussel sprouts, the Gochujang chicken wings, the Korean curry bowl and the Sesame Noodle salad. It was all so tasty, but the Brussel sprouts and the wings are something I could eat all day. We took our half eaten mains home as we were too stuffed. This is Korean food at it's best. Thanks Roy!! We will be back for takeout or delivery. Note: no photos as we were too hungry and forgot.

I’m so happy that Roy’s has opened back up! My all-time favourite restaurant has never let me down and I can happily say that trend continues. In a fresh new space, Roy is still offering some of the best bites in Calgary! The tortellini are a must, the KFC sliders are perfection, and the Brussels sprouts are what dreams are made of. If you know what’s good for you, make you way over to taste Roy and Anna’s spectacular food!

I had the pleasure of ordering the Korean Coconut Chicken Curry from Roy's Korean Kitchen - two bites into my meal, I ensured that the owner was aware of how delicious the meal was. Highly recommend Roy's Korean Kitchen, every bite will melt in your mouth and make you say "mmmmmmmm"!
