had the pleasure of dining at Rozendaels, and it was a wonderful experience! The flavors of the local cuisine truly shone in every dish. I tried the Keshi Yena, and it was exceptional — the pulled chicken combined with rich Gouda cheese and fried polenta created a deliciously unique taste that was both comforting and flavorful. The spicy onions and fried plantain added the perfect touch, balancing out the savory notes with a hint of sweetness.
The Galina di Smoor was another standout, with tender, braised chicken in local herbs that paired beautifully with the sides. Every component on the plate felt thoughtful and authentic to the region’s culinary heritage. Overall, a fantastic meal that I’d highly recommend to anyone wanting an authentic taste of Curaçaoan cuisine. Kokki Lokal captures the essence of local flavors in a welcoming and vibrant setting. I’ll definitely be back!
