A Tiny Barbecue Diner in Ventura County Hides Inside a Chevy Dealership | Eater LA

"Located inside a Chevrolet dealership in Fillmore and opened in April 2023, this two-person operation run by Randy and Ashlyn Balades aims to be a barbecue destination rather than just a highway pit stop. They make biscuits, jams, sauces, dressings and gravy on the premises using seasonal and local produce whenever possible, and even operate a hand-built, train-shaped outdoor smoker in the car lot behind a compact kitchen and a dozen four-top tables. Their smoked meats follow an elaborate, detailed process: the brisket (their top seller) is Harris Ranch beef that undergoes a 24-hour, multistep regimen — Randy says, “We lather it in Worcestershire and mustard first, and then, we do a heavy coat of pepper. That pepper sticks on there and creates a really good crust.” He then adds his own brisket seasoning, a combination of brown sugar, Lawry’s Seasoned Salt, onion, granulated garlic, and kosher salt; “We let it marinate overnight,” Randy says. “I put them in the smoker from 2:30 a.m. to about 5:30 p.m. When it passes a certain temperature, I add more tallow and then spray it with a combination of pickle juice, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire.” He wraps the brisket in butcher paper and lets it rest for three-and-a-half hours, and again wraps the brisket and paper in plastic wrap to steam in the warmer overnight; only then is it ready to slice and serve. When they opened they smoked three to four briskets (roughly 15 pounds each) a week; demand has grown to about 15, and briskets are smoked once or twice weekly depending on demand (they remove them from the menu in rainy weeks). Their tri-tip and pulled pork are also highlighted: Randy notes, “Tri-tip is a roast. You don’t throw it on the grill real quick,” and adds, “And I feel like ours becomes more tender because we smoke it at a very low temperature, which gets it that smoke ring, but it’s still super rare in the middle.” Tri-tip often sells out first at local street fairs, and pulled pork is presented as a tender option as well. Family and local sourcing figure into the operation — Randy’s father still owns a small ranch that supplies citrus, including oranges used in one of their three signature barbecue sauces — and the duo emphasize attention to service and plating (deftly sprinkled parsley, pink pickled onions, and shaved jalapeños topping some sandwiches, plus fresh-squeezed orange juice for mimosas) as distinguishing details. Their menu goes beyond traditional barbecue: items include brisket omelettes ($19) and stacked sandwiches ($22), Atlantic salmon and tiger shrimp that can be seared, grilled, or blackened, and a prime-grade New York steak used for steak and eggs ($22) and steak frites ($24) (the latter served with charred scallion chimichurri). They currently serve breakfast and lunch and offer catering plus a small selection of beer and wine, with dinner service planned in the future; operating hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., closed Mondays. With a quirky dealership setting and a focus on carefully executed smoking techniques, housemade accoutrements, and local ingredients, the operation is positioning itself as a bright spot along State Route 126." - Christine Ziemba

Never knew about this place & glad I did. Really good food. I had the brisket and it was soo amazingly delicious . 💯 I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone to go. Top of all you have beautiful new & classic cars.

Google
Very good food and great service. The sweet old cars are a nice touch. -The women's restroom was white water. Apparently they're working on the pipes.

Google
R+Q Kitchen in Fillmore delivered an excellent experience from start to finish. I ordered the Cobb Salad with brisket, and it was the perfect choice delicious, satisfying, and filling. Ash provided outstanding service; she was friendly, attentive, and informative throughout the meal. I’m already looking forward to coming back soon. Highly recommend!

Google
Had a lunch break in the area and found this barbecue place. I was surprised it was in a car dealership. I ordered a BLT with a side of onion rings. I was surprised of the portion size and the flavor. I definitely recommend this place

Google
My husband and I both had the pulled pork sandwich, delicious! At first we were a little hesitant about a restaurant inside of a car dealership, we were just visiting this area for the weekend, but my husband loves classic restored cars and they had quite a few of them in the showroom. The waitresses were excellent, very attentive. If you want good barbecue highly recommend.

Google
What an absolute hidden gem in Fillmore! While most people find themselves Runnin to Bunnin on the weekend to check out cars I’ll be running for some amazing BBQ! This fun family friendly restaurant is located in the center of the car dealership right next to a display of unique and colorful vintage cars. Don’t be fooled by their unassuming exterior, this restaurant is serving some of the best BBQ I’ve had in Ventura County! We shared a variety of foods including the BBQ sampler, a small Mac & cheese and the fried chicken sandwich. While my husband couldn’t get enough of the variety of meats and plethora of BBQ sauces to try, I found myself going back for more and more bites of the fried chicken sandwich. Not like most other fried chicken sandwiches this thin and super tender chicken patty was enveloped in the perfect crispy batter. Served on a buttery brioche bun with a chipotle coleslaw slaw? I couldn’t get enough! From the food to the great customer service this place has easily become one of our new regular spots. So happy we stopped in on a random heat wave Saturday. Highly recommend taking your family and friends to check out this unique spot, you won’t regret it!

Google
This is a BBQ place in, of all places, a car dealership. I had the Texas Toast BLT, add avocado, and side of bacon potato salad. Whoever thought of putting bacon on top of potato salad is a genius. The sandwich was fantastic. It had a ton of bacon cooked perfectly and a half a sliced avocado. If I had one wish for the meal it would have been for both slices of the bread to be toasted (the slice on the plate was the tiniest bit soggy - not a deal breaker by any means). My pickle garnish made me squint (this is the litmus test by which I measure the tangy yumminess of dill pickles....I give it an A). In fact I give the whole meal an A+!

Roy L.

Google
Absolutely the best brisket, trip tip and pulled pork, from me a BBQ connoisseur who has eaten everywhere in the Tri-County area. The onion rings and fries and crispy and the best!

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise. Located right in the Chevy dealer. A wonderful brisket breakfast, really nice people, and cool cars to look at.

Yelp
Soooooo bussing. We stopped here for a salmon sandwich after getting some fruits. The lovely garnish on the Caesar salad was delightful and divine. We chewed and ate all the way down. It's inside of a car dealership thing kind of and was unexpected but the most incredible atmosphere. We enjoyed the family and friends dining here and eve egg one seems to be thoroughly enjoying their picks. Our server was a ray of sunshine. Incredibly kind to all. Her name was Melissa she slays!!! Had her hands full but made sure everyone was taken care of promptly. Recommend to anyone in need of a joyous jumping jubilee of a lunch. Seriously we had so much fun. Always a treat to eat while looking at corvette

Yelp
R+Q is one of those tucked away places you pray you'll find while passing through a small town like Fillmore. Don't be fooled by its location on a car dealership and the fact that it barely counts as a stand alone restaurant. The portions are huge and everything tastes great. I got the chicken fried steak and hoo-boy it was the biggest and perhaps tastiest I had ever had. I was bummed they didn't have hashbrowns because I love crispy potatoes with my breakfast but the home fries turned out to be crispy and delicious. Two perfectly cooked eggs and a biscuit with some delicious blueberry jam sent this meal over the top. It was so good I might be inclined to drive all the way back from LA to try their more famous bbq. If you're passing through you gotta stop here.

Yelp
I frequently work along the 126. My co worker was looking to buy a truck and we stopped in here so he can look at new trucks. I saw that they had food so I decided to eat. I got the brisket sandwich with the mac n cheese. The sandwich was very good as was the side. Eating with the cars was cool. Next time we come thru in the morning we will try the breakfast burritos.

Yelp
Loved this place! Who would've thought. The onion rings are a must and so is the brisket sandwich!
google avatar

Kris C.

Yelp
This place is absolutely incredible. It family owned and the service and food are phenomenal. The owners actually work here and care about the business. The brisket was delicious and the bacon was smokey and delicious. This is a gem and highly recommended. We will definitely be back Great ambiance and you are surrounded by classic cars. NOTE: yes the restaurant is inside the dealership's classic car show room.

Yelp
Brisket Sandwich & Mac & Cheese Lots of flavor, excellent service! 100% recommended

Yelp
ALWAYS delicious! I crave the BBQ chopped salad with TriTip and a side of their crispy fries pretty much weekly. Service is always friendly and it's impossible not to admire the flashy vehicles surrounding you while you enjoy your meal. A staple in Fillmore - if you haven't been, you should go!

Adrian R.

Yelp
Just went for a breakfast burrito it was bomb. Really recommend it it's big so with one will feed 2 persons.

Dan H.

Yelp
Great barbecue. There were three of us and we ordered the two item plate and added an extra order of meat and a side order of onion rings. More food than we could eat. Usually pulled pork is my favorite but the two beef dishes were the best. Onion rings were also very good and complimented the bq.
google avatar

Sandie D.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. I highly recommend for all meals. Their bBBQ and wine are fantastic!

Yelp
We found this location on 4th of July as we were making our way home. The server in the front was so nice and attentive as we tried figuring out what we wanted. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese and fries. We really enjoyed the food! We'll definitely return when we make another trip.

Yelp
Have you ever dined at a restaurant located inside a car dealership? Well, now is your chance to stop by R+Q Kitchen and support this family owned business. Located inside the Bunnin Chevrolet dealership in Fillmore, Ca. Look for the sign as soon as you pull into the dealership parking lot. It will direct you towards the backside. That's the best way I can describe the location. The feeling I got when we first walked in, felt as if we were shopping for a car lol. But, then you see the tables set up and people dining inside. You will also be welcomed by classic cars on display in the show room; while choosing a place to sit right next to them. It was kind of strange but very cool at the same time. Destinee was our server; who was not only attentive the whole time, but gave us the rundown on the special of the day. I couldn't make up my mind, because everything looked good on the menu. That's what happens when you're hangry! I ended up choosing the quesadilla with brisket, because we were a party of 3 and planned on sharing each item that we ordered. The quesadilla was good, but it was a little cold and could have been filled with a little more meat, especially for the price. Hence the 4-stars. The blackened salmon burger was not only a generous portion size, but it was perfectly grilled, fresh and savory. Paired with the garlic parmesan herb fries, which were light, crispy and so darn good! I couldn't stop eating these. The three-cheese white Mac was served piping hot and the ultimate comfort food. It was super creamy, rich, cheesy and oh-so-good. I especially loved that they use cavatappi noodles and topped with golden panko bread crumbs. At least, it seemed like it was panko. Lastly, the smoked tri-tip sandwich was nicely piled with meat and served in between a soft warm brioche bun. The meat was perfectly smoked and flavorful. We had two different types of sauces served on the side. Both were good and paired well with pretty much everything we had ordered expect the mac n cheese of course. Overall, this was a great experience and I hope to return soon to check out their breakfast menu!

Yelp
Talk about a hidden gem! This spot is located inside Fillmore Chevy dealership and let me tell ya they had some cool classics cars parked inside while you dine. I think it's 100% a family owned kitchen as when we where there one worker was sitting putting away some cutlery and the sight of the two little helpers was an adorable sight helping out. The food was really really good the brisket was cooked to perfection and was not dry! The pulled pork was flavorful and my fiancé got a medium rare stake actually cooked medium rare! If you want good brunch bbq spot this is a must if you are passing through Fillmore.

Yelp
Yet another Yelp gem! Late lunch on our way up to a little getaway. Hunger hit so I turned to Yelp and couldn't resist the charm of a restaurant in a car dealership?!?!?! Yes, indeed! It is a restaurant within Bunnin Chevrolet! They have lots of cool old Corvettes to look at while you wait! We split a grilled chicken club and onion rings which was a good idea (ok, maybe not because it was so good!) because it was huge! Fresh chicken breast - not dry, shreddy lettuce, tomato, pickles on the side, add avocado and oh my...the best applewood smoked bacon. A perfect sandwich. A plentiful serving of house made onion rings came along side our sandwich and they were delicious. Our server and her husband own the place and make everything in house. He smokes everything and I wish we were locals! She was lovely, the food was excellent and I wish them continued success.

Yelp
I ordered pancakes eggs and bacon and sausage I got what looked like pig slop gross I would give no stars if I could

Yelp
Came a second time this week for a meal at lunch. This wonderful place is inside Bunnin Chevrolet with classic cars inside and outside which are for sale! The lunch crowd was bigger then the breakfast crowd and they also had phone in orders being picked up. We had the tritip sandwich which was delicious! Highly recommend this sandwich and upgrade to onion rings which are very good! I will not be able to drive thru Fillmore without stopping. Thank You R+Q!

Sam A.

Yelp
This place deserves more credit ! 10/10 food and service. We had the Brisket Breakfast burrito and it blew us away. The grill master must know what he is doing my hat off to you sir. We also had the Waffle and again tasted so fresh and homemade. I recommend this place to friends and family and all think highly of the spot. I tell people it's like a "Breakfast Speakeasy" because of it's location inside the main showroom of a Chevrolet dealer so you are sitting in a classic car sanctuary while have authentic BBQ!
google avatar

Darrel S.

Yelp
Well, I have to hand it to them, what a great experience we all had at this place, 7 of us rode our motorcycles to this dealership experiencing some just ok food, but boy we were wrong, they sat us down within 5 min's in a packed house and the waitress said we could do separate checks. and order some of the best smokehouse food that rivals some texas places. Off the hook was the brisket sandwich, Coleslaw fries. I really wanted chicken fried steak, but they informed me that it was a change over from breakfast to lunch and we only have a 3 burner stove. We arrived at 11;48 lunch is at 12 (YA she said this) I will get there early next time, hats off to you and the staff, they treated us like we were in a 3-star Michelin restaurant. Thanks you made us bikers happy :-) : - )
google avatar

Jim B.

Yelp
How fun is it to eat next to classic cars in a dealership? Amazing when the food is this good! We highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich, and could not have asked for better service!

nicole p.

Yelp
Honestly, all the dishes here are so delicious! I find myself coming in at least once a week--sometimes even twice! The food is consistently great, and the service is even better. The staff truly makes you feel at home, with waitresses who know you by name and genuinely take care of you throughout your meal. I'm especially obsessed with the brisket omelette and avocado toast--both are must-tries. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for amazing food and a welcoming vibe!
google avatar

Yelp
Small town restaurant with a small town feel. Food was delicious and great portions. Service was good and we didn't have to wait, got there before the lunch rush. The only issue I had was trying to find parking. Will be going back for the breakfast menu. Oh yeah the pastrami burger with egg and onion rings were awesome!!!!!!!

Suzanne M.

Yelp
We went to lunch here and ordered the pulled pork and smoked brisket sandwiches and the fries with tri tip, so a nice sample of the 3 meats. Everything was excellent! We all left with leftovers for dinner. The waitress was super nice and helpful with food allergies, and made sure to let me know what I could not eat and provided substitutes. Fun setting inside a car dealership! Great idea for Father's Day!
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
This was such a pleasant surprise! We drove in from Valencia to pick up a part from the Chevy dealership and had no idea that this fantastic place was inside the dealership! It was actually a really fun vibe because they park some awesome sports cars next to the dining area. The staff, Destinee, Ashlyn, and Mark were so friendly and incredible! Last but not least, that was THE most AMAZING brisket sandwich!!!! The onion rings were delicious too. We will definitely be back!

Marlene C.

Yelp
I've been coming here for some time now and I always recommend it to friends, so it was time I wrote a yelp review too. This is my favorite restaurant in Fillmore! Everything I've tried on their lunch menu has been great, but my favorite is the brisket. So flavorful and tender. Plus I love their fries! If you haven't checked out R+Q kitchen, add it to your list.
google avatar

S R.

Yelp
First time tying R&Q, and was not disappointed! We ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon, packed a punch. A must try place.

Karen F.

Yelp
Our meals were outstanding. The brisket 3 egg omelets were huge, packed with meat and perfectly seasoned. I had fruit (very fresh, seasonal offerings) and my husband had potatoes that he truly enjoyed. The service was outstanding! Loved the beautiful view of the mountains through the large picture windows. Worth every penny. Will definitely go again!
google avatar

Jenny G.

Yelp
Very happy with our BBQ brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, mac & cheese and Parmesan fries. We enjoyed our table in the corner, closest to the cars and away from the door. A bit pricey, but worth it for the great food, attentive service, and fun atmosphere.
google avatar

Susan H.

Yelp
R&Q catered my husband's retirement party on Saturday, October 19, 2024. We ordered ribs, brisket, chicken, a vegetarian "pulled pork," chopped salad, baked beans, mac and cheese, and Texas Toast. Everything was SO good and everyone in attendance (about 40 guests) complimented our catering choice. Working with Randy and his wife on the order was easy and professional. The cost was within budget. They delivered and set up the food for us and gave us great instructions on keeping everything warm. Honestly, we had ordered way too much food, but we had no problem dispersing leftovers to guests at the end of the night. Everyone was more than happy to help us and enjoy another taste of R&Q's amazing food! Tip: order extra ribs! Mouth-watering! Thank you, R&Q!
google avatar

Rex J.

Yelp
Was at this location a while ago whilst passing through. Had a breakfast and it was very good. But this review is about today's visit and the brisket sandwich that I shared with my wife. Hands down one of the best brisket sandwiches we've had. I eat a lot of BBQ and consider myself somewhat of an expert in the field. You don't need a lengthy review on this subject so I'll cut to the chase... Stop in here and give them your business. Next time (soon) I won't be sharing the sandwich. P.S. Onion Rings were spot on as was the service...
google avatar

Karen Yihua C.

Yelp
Great food and great service! The brisket was superb! It was a fun experience to eat our lunch next to those classic cars. We'll definitely be back.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
Not worth the drive unless you live next door. Food was just so-so, service was almost occasional.
google avatar

Kristi B.

Yelp
Husband and I have been ordering takeout from this place for a while. We have had so many of their lunch items like, brisket sandwich, hot pastrami, potato salad, tri tip sandwich, to name a few. Every single thing we have had has been outstanding. (Hence why we keep going back) But this past Sunday, I had a team brunch at the establishment. It's kinda neat being inside a dealership actually. My colleagues and I had a hard time choosing a breakfast item but in the end, we had a breakfast burrito (subbed meat for avo) a farmers omelet with ham, harvest omelet, and brisket omelette. Every one of us LOVED our selection. Mine was the farmers omelet with ham. Let me tell u, every ingredient was FRESH and the ham was thick and juicy and The cheese oozed! The potatoes were cooked and seasoned to perfection. There's a reason I've chosen this place so many times. I'll keep coming back too, so long as the ingredients stay top notch, fresh, and delicious! The staff was incredible and my only parting comment is - don't change a thing! Keep doin what you're doing!!
google avatar

Devin B.

Yelp
When I originally heard that R+Q Kitchen was inside of a Chevy dealer I was hesitant to give it a shot. Since we were headed to town we decided why not and it was a fantastic decision!! The dining area is no joke located inside the show room floor with classic muscle cars and a Ferrari as well. The breakfast menu has all the classic options but turned up a notch. Think grandma on steroids haha! I got the breakfast burrito with brisket and it was absolutely massive! The brisket brought a perfectly Smokey accompaniment to the standard breakfast burrito with eggs, potato and creamy avocado inside. The salsa included on the side includes a smokey chili one and a pico d gallon to add to each bite. The biscuits and gravy had the type of biscuit I remember my grandma making a more dense heavy biscuit not the light fluffy airy type which soaked up the sausage gravy that had that light brown color showing it was made fresh from a roux in pan drippings like grandma makes, not the white country gravy out of a packet. All in all a great breakfast to be had!!
google avatar

Dan L.

Yelp
R+Q Kitchen is off the chain! The brisket omelette and home fries are clucking delicious, and the biscuit with gravy is the bomb.com! The owner is a sweetheart, and the customer service is on point. Did I mention the coffee is delicious? Prospect brand all the way, baby!
google avatar

Aileen B.

Yelp
I confess I've never eaten in a car dealership before. It was definitely a unique experience! The quality and taste of the food was delicious and it was also presented beautifully! I had a omelette with fresh fruit and it was so good! The service was a little slow but I'm sure it had to do with the fact they were busy. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would eat here again!
google avatar

Preston A.

Yelp
The smoked meat are top notch. Must see if you are traveling through Fillmore. My recommendation is anything brisket and the bacon potato salad

Dino A.

Yelp
Awesome posts sucks! This place is great. Unfortunate everyone else will love it as much as I do. The homemade food is amazing. The family run members are sweet and kind. They go out of your way to enjoy the experience surrounded by cool Old cars. The price is very fair with large portions, I'd give this 5 plus stars.
google avatar

Judy J.

Yelp
6 stars! Fillmore finally has a reason to stop and eat, while viewing classic Chevys in the back of a car dealership. (Yes, all part of the quirky charm.) We had the brisket sandwich with slaw, and the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings. The brisket was delicious, tender and moist. Slaw was a bit spicy in a good way. Pulled pork, tender and smoky. Onion rings, hands down best we ever had, and we've had a lot, at the combined age of 133! Wait service is friendly and they actually care! We'll be back, even if we have to modify our destination route.
google avatar

Lisa K.

Yelp
I had a great experience at this restaurant. My family came with a large group for a birthday celebration. The service was wonderful, the waitress was attentive and accommodating. The food was great, everyone in our group had something different and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I highly recommend R and Q kitchen!

Yelp
We'd been hearing so many great things about this restaurant. We finally made it on Father's Day! There were a lot of things I wanted to try, but it's a little pricey, so I'll have to save it for another visit. Would have loved to try the Parmesan fries, but opted to try the potato salad. It was pretty good and I appreciated it's more of a mustard base than mayo. I thought the brisket was pretty tasty. My husband got the pulled pork with the coleslaw in the side (for me) because he doesn't like anything extra. He felt it was a little greasy, but had good flavor. My daughter had the Mac n cheese and enjoyed it and my son tried the grilled cheese, but was not a fan. Not sure what kind of cheese was used on it, but he said it had no flavor and wouldn't eat it. Disappointing because the kids meal was around $10. Enough to care that he wouldn't eat it. I wish the hostess would have asked if we'd ever been in, welcomed us and then offered a couple of the "fan" favorites, but she just seated us. Everyone was friendly, but not above and beyond. The food was overall pretty good. It's a trek for us since we live in Port Hueneme, so we probably won't make the trip again solely for that, but if we're in the area, we'd stop again!

Vanessa B.

Yelp
Found this place from an IG account who recommended it as a top location in Ventura county. We finally decided to go for my husband's birthday and will definitely be back again.. We were a little confused as to where to park because we didn't realize the restaurant is actually located inside the Chevrolet dealership. So you would park like you were going car shopping. Once inside, you'll see the tables that are set behind really awesome old vintage cars. We went around 1140 and it wasn't too busy. Luckily we got there in time because we came for breakfast and their lunch menu starts at 12! I guess it worked out because we got our breakfast items and then placed a small order for a few lunch snacks. Coffee was delicious and smooth. Better than your typical Cafe coffee. We got the churro, waffle, chorizo and goat cheese omelette, chicken fried steak, and the stack. Everything was absolutely delicious! The gravy had really good flavor and nice pieces of meat inside. My husband thought the country steak was a little overcooked, it was a darker brown. But still very tasty. My goat cheese omelette was delicious. I know goat cheese is weird for some people, but don't let it fool you. It tastes very good and it's not overpowering at all . their jam was homemade.. we also got tri-tip fries and a small side of mac & cheese, which was super delicious I love Mac n chez. Service was great! Super friendly ladies. Checked on us more than once, especially after food was dropped. A big plus. My mother-in-law paid the tab for hubby's birthday and accidentally left more money than she should, miscounted the cash. The server was very honest and came back to say that she felt the money was a little extra, above and beyond. Thank you, very kind. We'll be back! Thank you.
google avatar

Kate L.

Yelp
I can't believe this place is in a dealership lol the churro waffle was amazing. Def recommend!
google avatar

Kathy B.

Yelp
We absolutely love R+Q Kitchen... The food is soooo good!!!! Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! And the service is amazing. Come check them out, you'll be glad you did! They are located right inside the showroom of Bunnin Chevrolet in Fillmore. Awesome family owned business. Well worth the drive from Simi Valley :-).
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
This is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Tucked in the back of a car dealership makes for the perfect atmosphere. Our waitress Destiny was amazing. If I lived here I'd be here every week.
google avatar

Greg O.

Yelp
R&R is great food and the portions are huge. There is no way you can leave here hungry. The meats are very Smokey and the breakfast is wonderful.
google avatar

Christine C.

Yelp
My friends and I went on a weekend which we knew would be busy. It was right after they got some Instagram exposure so we had a little bit of a wait which we expected. Seating is really limited but it was worth the wait for sure! All 3 of us loved the food and can't wait to go back. We went for breakfast and plan to go back and try lunch. Service was also great.
google avatar

Craig D.

Yelp
Wow. First time there. I was a bit hesitant when I learned the restaurant was inside a car dealership. But what the heck, we decided to give it a try and so glad we did. My wife and I shared the smoked beef brisket along with fries and a side order of cole slaw. The food was amazing. The brisket was the best I have ever had, moist, nice crust and full of flavor. The fries were excellent as was the cole slaw which had a unique but delightful flavor. Everything is made to order and fresh and that extra care definitely shines through. Ashlyn, our server and co-owner, was equally delightful and very attentive. She and her husband, Randy, have certainly created something special here. I guarantee you, Guy Fieri would love this place and it is only a matter of time that he shows up and then you will be waiting in line to try this gem. Go now while there is no long line!! Highly recommend. Will definitely return.

I've been here several times. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Last meal though was not on par with previous trips. Brisket was sliced and the put on the flat top drying it out. Just fix that and everything is golden
