Parking: Scan QR code to pay for parking. Food: Limited items to eat. The food was delicious. Drink: This place is more for drinking than eating. Service: Talia was an excellent waitress. My 1st time there. She was polite and patience with us. Atmosphere: The place has a laid-back vibe. If I am on that side again, I will be back.

Google
The burrito and tacos were very good. I didn't enjoy my street corn but the server was very gracious and removed it from my bill. She was very attentive and since it was our first time there was patient with our questions. Overall we definitely enjoyed our meal and will go back.

We were glad that we were able to get into Rreal Tacos before the big dinner rush on Mother’s Day! The vibe was cool though it was pretty loud in there. Lots of great options on the menu and it was easy to pay and leave at the end with everything being online. Service could’ve been a bit better, we had to ask for napkins and extra plates so many times. The food overall was pretty good, though my father in law felt some of the meat in his tacos was tough. Good for a quick fix.

I love everything about this place. I will go back and I have recommended others. I loved the atmosphere. It was aesthetically pleasing the service from the host to the bartenders was superb professional nice kind and friendly. The food was a 10 out of 10. Everything was fresh hot delivered on time and looks exactly like the picture on their menu.

Google
I am so impressed! From the moment we walked in until the time we left…awesome service food and atmosphere! We were seated fast even though it seemed extremely busy. Our server, Roberto was attentive and every need we had, was fulfilled. We enjoyed the watermelon margaritas and the mango(they even make it SPICY!) The food came out super fast and HOT. I can’t say enough great things about our experience! In DECATUR WHERE ITS GREATER!!!

Google
I love Rreal Tacos. Fantastic service with kind and attentive staff. Everything was fast and efficient—the food arrived hot and incredibly delicious, and the drinks were on point. The restaurant is in a great location and has a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a casual dinner out. Loved the music and the decor.

Google
Maria was so kind. All of the managers were welcoming and adorable. Food is heavy but really good. The corn is cornin. Watermelon margarita was not too sweet and amazing. Good atmosphere. The lighting is perfect and I love the plants. Bday porty spot. But my favorite thing about this place is that the flight of shots for an approximately 2,224 people is called the TITANICS. Five stars.

Google
Tables are crowded in but the food was fantastic. The Birria pizza was so good! Leigh Ann was our server and she was great. The strawberry margarita was perfect! Will definitely go back when we are in Decatur again.

Yelp
Talya was amazing very attentive. Consideting the renovation and guest having to be outside, she made sure we always had water. The food came out quickly and was very good.

Yelp
Food was obviously great!! As well as the drinks!! I always love rreal taco but the service last night was awful. We felt rushed the entire time we were there. The server Tahlia kept coming back asking us if we wanted boxes several times after we said we weren't ready yet.

Yelp
Initially, I looked forward to having a Rreal Tacos location near me. I've been to a few of their locations and I enjoy their food, but the parking here sucks. There's only a few free spaces available and the paid parking is expensive. The atmosphere is as bright and energetic and the other locations. I've only dined in once and prefer to take my food to go because of the difficult parking. The pork belly and asada tacos are my favorite. The esquites is pretty good too.

Yelp
Visited on a Friday evening for dinner with my husband. We parked in the lot which is limited and expensive. We were able to get a table right away without a reservation. It wasn't too crowded but the were busy. We looked at the menu via the qr code on the table. When our server came over we were ready to order. We each ordered a margarita flight and guac for an app. I ordered 2 tempura fish tacos and a veggie taco. My husband ordered a birria barbacoa, grilled shrimp, and picahna taco. Our flight came and the app came shortly after. I enjoyed the tempura fish tacos with a nice flavor and fry. The veggie taco was ok. My husband enjoyed all of his tacos. The guac was fine, could've used some more salt and pepper. The margarita flights were muy bueno! My favorite was the passion fruit. Overall we enjoyed our time and would probably go back especially for the drinks and that tempura fish taco.

Yelp
Atlanta's trendiest taco joint has arrived in Decatur! My friend and I went for lunch on Cinco de Mayo, and while it sadly didn't pay homage to Mexico's defeat of the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla (the origin of Cinco de Mayo), the beautiful decorations and latin music helped us get in the mood for some great tacos and margaritas. To start off with the goods things (of which there were many): food was delicious. I got the pork carnitas, the chicken, and the birria tacos, and all of them were exceptionally done. The margarita was also great, as was the guacamole we got as an appetizer. My friend is vegetarian so got the veggie taco, and he seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. Our server Maria was great and attentive, and we were in and out with some great food in no time. Oh, and the decor and presentation of the food is fantastic-- big kudos on that front. As for the bad... My mom and I came here about a week and a half before Cinco de Mayo (like Veinte de Abril) and after getting seated by the host we had to wait over 10 minutes before a server came up to greet us. Despite that being the longest wait I've had in over a year, she wasn't apologetic at all-- just curtly asked what we wanted to drink and if we had time to look at the menu. We put in water orders, but felt pretty icky about the whole thing so just ended up leaving.

Yelp
Hmm, let's see I'm giving my first experience at this restaurant 2 stars because our waitress was amazing. Let me back up a bit. Arrived here late on Friday night around 9pm. Excited that the rain wouldn't come for a couple of hours, we sat outside. Our waiter greeted us, we ordered salsa and my friend got the margarita flight (which comes with a lime, passionfruit, mango, and watermelon margarita). Shortly after, it started to lightly rain and the wind picked up. Unfortunately, seating inside was going to be a 30 min wait so we moved to a table closer to the restaurant to avoid the rain. But when it started raining harder we went inside. When our waitress saw us, she told us to have a seat in her section, which was so sweet as there were still others by the door with their drinks and food who were seating outside, just waiting to be seated due to the rain. It was SO LOUD inside, which is why we chose outside to begin with. Being in there really changed our experience into an overwhelming one. Everyone was YELLING over the loud music to talk to their dinner partners. I had to repeat myself several times to mine, and it was just too much. I wouldn't go back to dine in again because it was just too much. We then ordered food, I got a cheese quesadilla and the Abuela salad. My friend ordered two tacos and a side of rice (since the tacos are a la carte). The quesadilla was presented horribly, all stuck together, way too much cheese oozing out of every area that there was so easy way to try to eat it. It was also just blah in terms of good, quality cheese, and I wish they would have left it on the grill for any further amount of time to help. Now the abuela salad, I'd come back and order that. It was really good, a little too much onion, but overall, delicious. I forgot to take a pic of it, but it was a lot of salad. Overall, waitress was amazing and accommodating, food was meh aside from the salad, pricing was a little steep for tacos (~$5 per) but otherwise reasonably priced. Won't go back (wonder if the other locations have lower volume in music? lol)

Yelp
Well the place has good food and the service wasn't bad either. I wish the service could have been faster but the place is packed and crowded. Atmosphere is not bad either. Really is a good place to eat but food is a little expensive and but it's always crowded service and waiting for a table is slowish. So if you don't mind waiting you'll have a good time.

Yelp
This isn't a long review. I've been to a few of these locations. Glad Decatur has their own. Drinks are great. Tonight the fish tempura tasted rubbery. If it was haddock or cod in the fish tempura it wasn't the best. Tasted rubbery in some spots and undercooked in other. Besides that enjoyed the bartender.

Yelp
I really like this location. The environment matches the others with an upbeat & fun vibe. Food is great, as at the other locations. The staff is nice esp the male manager with the glasses who is very accommodating & friendly. I live in Decatur so I expect the parking situation to be iffy but honestly the parking lot isn't bad at all & theres plenty of free parking near by if you can get a spot at one of those lots when this one is full. 10/10 recommended

Yelp
Now I see when your paying after you eat why they have you do a review right after it doesn't allow you to right comments. Now going forward I'll wait on the reviews until I get home. Few things, food was exceptional, delicious, however. We ordered the 12 tacos since it was a group of 3 and one taco was missing, no worries we let our waitress know and she fixed it immediately.. no worries there. That tub of 12 drinks.. not worth it, tastes like flavored juice, definitely would have passed on that however the ducks in it was cool lol. And the price...WHOAH.... Naw won't be back here again. Almost $250 for 3 people, the experience didn't blow me away to be comfortable paying that. It was just ok. Drinks not on point, food ok, atmosphere..just alright. Our waitress was amazing also giving recommendations, I give our server a 5 star

Yelp
Fantastic! Get the Trio Appetizer, it's so good! The dining area is kinda loud, but it was also very packed the day we went. The tables are very close to each other. But the food is delicious and we'll for sure go back soon! They also have good non-alcoholic drinks. I loved the Cucumber & Mint Mocktail.

Yelp
Overall it was a good time, good food, good customer service. The manager was awesome. He checked on our table very frequently and ensured we had everything and that everything was going well. I would def return. Good luck on your visit.

Yelp
Excellent food, amazing cocktails. Fast service, friendly staff. Our server Lia was awesome. We've been to a few of their other locations and the new Decatur place is lit.

Yelp
Server (Maria) was very friendly, but she left us for too long. We needed ice for our drinks and sour cream (or something) for our food. The shrimp was good, but the slaw inside the shrimp tacos tasted dry and awful. And there was something extremely mushy inside the Birria Barbacoa. I told her we didn't like the food, but was refused a discount. So we tried to eat it anyway, but my friend and I were both nauseous afterwards. I couldn't even swallow it. There were no paper napkins, so I spit it back into the plate. Atmosphere was beautiful and clean, but way too cold.

Yelp
We went on opening week & made a reservation on OpenTable which was ready for us when we arrived. They even had the table blocked with a "reserved" sign which was nice, as a lot of times you still end up waiting for tables even when you have a reservation. We lucked out and got a street parking spot after circling the block, but otherwise the lot out front of the restaurant is a paid lot that is strictly enforced. We were greeted at our table by our server immediately and brought water, which was kept refilled at all times! The server was very friendly and personable, making sure to check in on us throughout the meal. I believe their name was Alejandro and they were also assisted by another server throughout the night. I was initially a little shocked in the menu/prices. I am used to restaurants serving free chips & salsa in this area. We ended up ordering the chips & queso which was a large portion that I felt justified the price after all. I ordered 3 different tacos, all of which were fresh and authentic tasting. Well seasoned, tender meat, really delicious. My sister ordered the burrito bowl with grilled chicken and it was huge. She ended up only eating half of it and taking the other half to-go, but also commented on how delicious it was. We didn't order any drinks from the bar but did notice the presentation of them from other guests and they looked very well presented and I would have felt the price was fair if I had ordered a drink. The ambiance was the only thing that had me on the fence - but that solely comes down to preference. The music was pretty loud, they were bringing out sparklers and bells for birthdays, and overall it's a pretty upbeat environment. That said, I was there on a Tuesday night with my sister to grab dinner and help her prep for a job interview but if I was there on a Friday night with friends I would have enjoyed it more. So, not worth knocking any stars off but it's definitely worth noting that it's not a casual weekday spot if that's what you're looking for. The restaurant design is very trendy and fits the downtown Decatur vibe. Definitely will be back and hope to see it do well in this new location.

Yelp
Leo was the best bartender! He was friendly and very knowledgeable of the drinks and menu items.

Yelp
Table for 2 for dinner I heard a new Rreal Taco location just opened up in Decatur, so Wifey and I decided to go check it out. When we arrived, we noticed a shared parking lot right in front of the restaurant. It was the usual scan-and-pay setups, but the pricing was kinda weird--$7 for 30 minutes or $19 for three hours. No in-between. I went with the $7 option and hoped for the best. We walked past a few outdoor tables on our way in, but after a quick discussion, we agreed to sit inside. When we stepped in, there were a few people milling around the host stand, and it felt a little unorganized. Took a minute for anyone to greet us. Eventually, someone made eye contact and asked if we'd been helped. We said we were looking for a table for two inside, and they quickly seated us at a high-top. They pointed out a QR code for the drink and food menus. We scanned it, and I noticed there weren't any beers listed--just a bunch of specialty cocktails and a nice lineup of Mexican favorites. We waited for a while, but no server came by. I caught eyes with the host again to let them know we hadn't been helped yet. They gave me a quick nod like someone would be over soon. Eventually, our server showed up--and she had a great demeanor, bubbly personality. I asked about the beer selection, and she let us know they don't carry much in the way of American beers, just a few Mexican ones. Wifey ordered a Modelo, and I went with a Pacifico. She dropped off our drinks and came back to take our food order. Wifey went with three tacos--two al pastor and one pork belly. I got one chicken taco, one al pastor, and a side of rice and beans. Food came out very fast. Wifey was happy with hers. I thought mine were good, not amazing--I just needed a little something, so I asked for some hot sauce to spice it up. Oh, another point about the parking, as I was eating the half hour expired and I could not extend it. I had to get up, walk outside and scan again for another $7. So parking was convenient but a bit of a pain. After dinner we left a little room for dessert. We shared a Tres Leches and it was delicious. It was a great treat to cap off the dinner. Overall, we enjoyed the ambiance, the food, and especially Leeanne, our server. She was clearly busy, running around nonstop, but had a great attitude when she interacted with us.

Quita E.

Yelp
Food was good, Birria pizza to share and the service was good. BUT the parking is ludicrous!! Now I've parked a many places especially in Atlanta and I thought it was bad but this parking is $20 for 30 mins and $27 for up to 3 hours. You can do street parking if you luck up but to charge $20 for 30 mins has to be illegal! The server kept trying to bring us the bill, nah we are sitting here enjoying this 30 dollar parking sir. I've been to the locations in midtown and Gwinnett and both have free parking. I wouldn't come out my way just because of that.

Yelp
Everything was super tasty and fresh. Rojo the bartender was amazing and friendly. Very cute location.

Yelp
Great customer service! Good drinks flavors for the margaritas. The tacos never disappoint. I definitely recommend for friends or a date. Two margs, 4 tacos & one app for about $55
google avatar

Yelp
Cons: $26 to park was insane. Hostess wasn't as customer friendly as they were not accommodating for our seating preferences. Driving further out to find cheaper parking... was an inconvenience. No queso in stock! What a shocker for a Mexican inspired eatery. Birria taco lacking in flavor. Consome was flavorless and a bit oily . Pickled red onions were too vinegarey on the Pichana tacos. Spanish rice was flavorless as was the black refried beans. Chips added to the order in spite Of cancelling . Strawberry margarita was falsely advertised as it doesn't note the extra $8 for the pitcher. Finally the 10% tax and platform Fee of $2.49 was wild. Pro: Esquite

Yelp
Let's get the bad stuff out the way.... PARKING! The whole lot is pay parking and it's ridiculous if you ask me, 30mins. $5 or 3hrs. $18 plus a service fee. Now we can talk about the good stuff...when you walk up, love the exterior...no pics to cold lol and they do have outside seating. Once walking in really cute. There are televisions over the bar. The staff was very nice and kept our water full and stayed checking on you. Now I wasn't hungry hungry and I'm not a Mexican food lover, I just dabble in it but as I looked around, it looks to be authentic. I had the 3-Trio, guacamole, queso, and salsa, along with Esquites(Mexican street corn in a bowl. Each where really good, the queso did get stiff but I was still able to get in it and scoop my chip with a little work. Drinks, I started with the margerita and decided on my favorite... Passion fruit, so that's how I topped off my evening. I was really shocked at how business it got and stayed for a Thursday. I could definitely go back and I definitely can say it's worth give a try for sure

Grey U.

Yelp
It's clear from their food that their original name was Rreal Salty Tacos. Salt isn't just a seasoning here, it's seemingly the entire point. Excuse me while I go drink a gallon of water.
google avatar

Courtney G.

Yelp
I'm so glad they finally have a location that's closer to me instead of having to drive to the city. First and foremost I know it's not the restaurant fault for the parking situation but $20 for parking is crazy. They do have free parking behind the restaurant though. We were going to do that instead but the traffic coming out the parking lot was crazy as well. Our server Guillermo was the best ! The service was phenomenal and the food was really good. We didn't have to wait long for the food. I will definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
Great tacos! I always order thru Uber or just run in and pick up. I need to go and have a seat so i can have the full experience. Ambiance is nice however they stay crowded.

Yelp
I enjoyed sitting and eating at the bar watching the Bartenders (two young gentlemen) create their Magic Service was Excellent!! The Old Ponko Location in DT Decatur....Nice
google avatar

Esther F.

Yelp
Horrible customer service and completely disorganized. Was asked to get up from my table because they wanted to give my table to a bigger party that I watched come in after me. Then LIED and said they were here first. And said "byee" as I was leaving. The customer service here is SO POOR. I felt embarrassed in front of the customers around me and left before I burst into tears. And this was my first date night out in months. To think I wasted it to be embarrassed by young girls with no decorum. Wil NEVER be back

Cynthia H.

Yelp
The service was good. She was kind and attentive. Nice ambiance. The nachos were good & seem to be made in house. I asked for something similar to a regular taco and it was suggested that I get beef with cilantro, but I had to return it. It wasn't that good. I would only go back for the nachos.
google avatar

Noah S.

Yelp
Fantastic service, huge portions that are fairly priced, and an awesome vibe inside with great music. It is an open diner layout so the acoustics of the room were pretty loud, so if you're looking for a more social night out it's a great spot. Parking was a bit of a pain on a weekend but this is Atlanta after all, so par for the course lol. All in all, highly recommend!

Nicki C.

Yelp
food was cold, server was very rude and unprofessional .. been here multiple times but definitely won't be back after this visit.

Yelp
Very damn good ask for Rojo!!!! Atmosphere is very good. Food is Awesome be careful with parking because to be o. the safe side just pay and ENJOY!!!!

Yelp
First Time patronizing this establishment. Great Demographic. Expansive Menu/ Full Bar.. Waitresses and Hostess Are Cordial. I ordered 2 shrimp Tacos whom value was Significantly Diminished Due to the Abhorable Limp & Distasteful Taco Shells which were very Limp like old flour/meal. Not Flattering to the Palate . They do not have Lemon slices, only Lime. The Libation rings consist of back sea salt & spicy Tariq. More options would be Appreciated. The rubber ducky in the Libation was a cute touch. The Lavatorys Are Top Tier/ Gender Neutral. Wide Variety of salsa available. Will I Patronize Again? For the Food : Negative ( the corn Tortillas were Abhorable) For the Libations: Absolutely. MARIA, the Waitress, was very patient and offered better food Alternatives, Alongside Much-needed patience & Gentle Constrctive Critism.
google avatar

Kimbrley O.

Yelp
Our waiter Rolan was amazing and the food was amazing!! Everything was top tier! I honestly think this is one of the best locations aside from Midtown!

Katherine R.

Yelp
great food and service! The atmosphere is really cool. Good drinks as well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gabrielle F.

Yelp
Real Taco Decatur is very demure mucho delicious! The food was on point and the service was nothing less than amazing. My server was Patricia, ask for her by name. Tell her I sent you!

Sa P.

Yelp
great food and service. I have order pickup and my only dilemma is parking for pickup. They should add that note on their site. It is Downtown Decatur so that is expected And won't deter me from ordering.

S W.

Yelp
The service was excellent; the food was just okay. I ordered the burrito bowl with fish. My fish was a little dry and I've had better burrito bowls at fast food restaurants. I must say I took some home and it was much, much better the next day. The chairs were absolutely horrible. They should definitely look into better chairs. Will try it again because maybe my taste buds were off this day!
google avatar

Tony G.

Yelp
So glad we don't have to travel to Buckhead now!! The service was amazing (Thank you Talya). Even tho the Valentine's Day rush was in full effect, we were still able to be seated and enjoy the amazing food. I can't forget the ambiance which was full of energy! Thank you Rreal for another wonderful dining option here in downtown Decatur!
google avatar

Janae F.

Yelp
Finally a closer location !!! Freddy was a great server and super funny !!! My food was super fresh and delicious !!! My only issue was the parking. The hostess at the front told me that parking was paid parking and they don't validate. The fee to park was $30 !!! I wrote a Google review about it and management responded that parking was free under my review. My advice to Management is to clearly communicate parking with your patrons. The patrons don't want pay the price of a tab in parking fees.

Yelp
Service food drinks and staff were muy Buenos staff was on point food came out fast and it was excellent..Will be going back

Yelp
The ambience and decor is nice although it's loud inside. We got immediately a table on a Saturday night and the servers were quick and attentive. To the food: had queso dip which was ok but not spectacular. Would benefit from some kick. We had different tacos and all had the same in common: bland. Now we know why there are three sauces on the table. Especially disappointing was the Birra Barbacoa which was just a greasy mess. Margaritas on the other hand were rather tasty and the selection is expansive. Would we come back? Montfort the food. We get a Margarita and then head over to Taqueria del Sol for the yummy stuff

Barry P.

Yelp
Excellent authentic taste. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the customer service was great. We will go back soon.

Robin M.

Yelp
We visited this establishment. It has very festive atmosphere. The service was adequate. The trio appetizer is plentiful and good. The menu has something for everyone. I ordered the burrito, and would not order it again. Something was lacking with the ingredients. It was very large, enough to share, but I would not order for my next visit. Yes, I plan to revisit soon.
