Rreal Tacos - Lawrenceville

I absolutely love Rreal Tacos and frequent many of their locations, but the Lawrenceville location is officially my new favorite!! We went last night and it was extremely busy, but thankfully there was a mini bar outside so we grabbed a drink while we waited and the staff were all so kind! From the moment we walked in, the experience was amazing. Amy, the hostess, was so welcoming and friendly, and our waitress Marissa was attentive, sweet, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. A huge shoutout to Quintin, the manager, who truly made our night memorable. He was incredibly kind and engaging we even took a Polaroid photo with him with our camera and added it to the tree, which was such a fun and personal touch. Great service, great energy, and the same delicious food I always expect from Rreal Tacos. Lawrenceville has definitely set the bar high ❤️

Andrea is the best! She’s very charming and kept a smile the entire time. She checked on us periodically. The food was amazing. It was warm and seasoned to perfection. The cocktails tasted like they should and presented beautifully. Even the manager stopped by our table to say hi.

The Christmas theme and food was simply amazing. The Christmas decorations were over the top, but in a magical Christmas extravaganza way. If you go during Christmas time, please set your expectations to wait especially if you get there after 5pm. The chips work guacamole, salsa, and queso was delicious (unlimited chips), the White Russian Christmas Drink was delicious (I’m not a drinker), and the chicken quesa barria was delicious (shared with myself, two college students, and two pre teens). The barria ramen wasn’t that great. It was cold and the meat to noodle (green noodles) was extremely off. The likes for the restroom was long because they allowed people who were not eating at the restaurant to use the restroom, so the line was extremely long due to being right beside the Christmas festival. My only other complaint is our waiter kept forgetting things we asked for especially the regular drinks and extra plates. We have him grace because he had several tables due to the restaurant being packed and maybe they were understaffed. The entire staff was dressed in Christmas clothes and they were extremely nice. My family and I will definitely eat there again. Btw they had the biggest blow up Santa that I’ve ever seen in my life.

Rreal Tacos is always a good time & this time was no different. I have been to 3 locations so far. The food was great, server was amazing, and they decorated for Christmas. There was a 1 hr wait, which was understandable because it is right next to where Christkindle moved, but we were notified our table was ready in about 30 minutes. I had Christmas quesabirria chicken, my daughter had the steak one, mom had a shrimp taco & quesadilla, & other daughter had nachos(pictured) & a fish taco. Everyone's food was delicious. We were also celebrating 3 birthdays our waitress brought us tres leches cake which was very good.

We had such a great experience here, and a big part of that was thanks to Jonny Flynn! At first, we honestly weren’t even sure we wanted to stay, but Jonny completely turned things around. From the moment he started taking care of us, his attitude, professionalism, and genuine friendliness made all the difference. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, checked in at just the right times, and made us feel truly welcome and valued. It’s rare to find service that can shift your whole mood like that, but Jonny absolutely did. Because of him, what started off uncertain ended up being an amazing experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Hands down the best location to eat at! The food is packed with flavor, and every dish has been absolutely delicious. The drink menu is just as impressive, and the playlist is always on point — it really sets a fun, upbeat vibe. Right now, the Halloween decorations make it even better — spooky but super fun! I’ve been to several of their locations, but this one stands out as the best by far. Highly recommend! 🎃🍹🍴

We have been twice, and both times, we had excellent service. Cece took care of us the second time. I appreciated that she was paying attention to my birthdate and the things I said and she surprised me with a birthday cake slice. The outdoor patio is so nice and large with tons of fans. The cocktails and food are always great, but this location has the best patio and Halloween decor!

The food was excellent. I had the Ramen, which you may think Ramen at Mexican. It's definitely worth it. The portions size was perfect, not too big nor too small. The appetizer are really good as well. Our server Bella was fantastic. She on top of eveything, keeping oit glasses full and had a great personality. We will definitely be back for more food, great service and the margaritas flight. ​

Literally if I could live there I would. I love this place. I tried it the first time during Halloween and have gone back an unhealthy amount of times since they really go all out with the decor for Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's Day. I wish they did more holidays and I would be at every one ! The staff is sooo nice. They go above and beyond to make sure they not only get your order right but that you truly enjoy your experience. Order the titanic you won't regret it ! The drinks are good and strong and the food is everything. I've tried just about everything on the menu and nothing disappoints The best part is , it's budget friendly . Nothing is over priced like most places in atlanta so you can get alot for your money

This location is incredible with food, service and holiday decor! Visited December 4th for my sister's birthday and our server was Kazuki in the Grinch bar area. He was just amazing!! took the best care of us and had fun laughing with my father regarding his flip phone. thankfully brought him a printed menu lol! top-notch service and an amazing experience!

Went to Rreal Tacos in Lawrenceville on the week of Thanksgiving. It was abundantly decorated for Christmas and has festive drink and food options. I started with the Rudolph cocktail and it was delicious and christmasy. I got three tacos: Tempura fish, shrimp, pork belly. I liked the shrimp and pork belly the best. The spicy pineapple margarita was also great.

We stopped by Rreal Tacos in Lawrenceville and it was such a fun experience. They currently have their Christmas theme up and it's all Grinch-themed! The whole place looks festive and over the top in the best way. Definitely loved the vibe! They even have a special Christmas menu, which includes Birria Ramen and a Coquito Flight, of course we had to try it. The coquito flight was delicious and the drinks overall were strong, so no complaints there. For food, I ordered a Birria taco with consommé and a Costra taco with steak. Tacos were absolutely delicious, super flavorful and perfectly cooked. Everyone at our table loved their meals too. Between us we had chicken nachos, Birria ramen, and more tacos, and everything looked amazing. The only downside was the service was a little slow, but to be fair it was very busy for a Sunday night so we understood. Parking was also a bit tricky, so definitely plan for that. Overall, super fun vibe, festive holiday theme, strong drinks, and great food. We'll definitely be back! ESPAÑOL Fuimos a Rreal Tacos en Lawrenceville y fue una experiencia muy divertida. Actualmente tienen su tema navideño y todo es de temática Grinch! Todo el lugar se ve muy festivo de la mejor manera. ¡Definitivamente me encantó el ambiente! Incluso tienen un menú especial de Navidad, que incluye Birria Ramen y un flight de Coquito, por supuesto que tuvimos que probarlo. El flight de coquito estaba delicioso y las bebidas en general fuertes, así que no hay quejas allí. Para la comida, pedí un taco Birria con consomé y un taco Costra con bistec. Los tacos estaban absolutamente deliciosos, súper sabrosos y perfectamente cocinados. A todos en nuestra mesa también les encantaron sus comidas. Entre nosotros comimos nachos de pollo, Birria ramen y más tacos, y todo se veía increíble. El único inconveniente fue que el servicio fue un poco lento, pero para ser justos estaba muy ocupado para un domingo por la noche, así que lo entendimos. This is not my first or last time at Rreal tacos! I've been to multiple locations but this was my first time at the Lawrenceville location; very friendly and accommodating staff, our server was great and very efficient! Came for drinks and chips/queso after my sister's wedding rehearsal and it was the perfect ambiance. I love when they decorate around the holidays and the decor of the restaurant. The food was amazing, chips and queso were fresh they brought plenty chips would highly recommend

This was the newest location of RReal taco. We could not make reservations because at that time it was not allowed. Probably because it was just opened and they were not ready or capable to take reservations. The line was wrapped outside the door for people waiting to get tables. I guess this is downtown Lawrenceville so there was nowhere to park. We did end up parking across the street somewhere. It was free parking there. I didn't see where there was street parking available. I know the food truck was out front and that took up parking if you are able to park there. It is close to apartment buildings and perhaps you could find parking there but everywhere we went it was very congested. One of the reasons I wanted to come here was because they have these speciality drinks called Margarita flight,Flavored Titanic and Titanics. I couldn't order either because you had to have a minimum of 4 guests. It was only 2 of us so that really disappointed me. At some point I will probably go back with friends but I was super excited to give those a try. Once we finally got in it didn't take really long for us to be seated. It was lots of people inside so the noise level was a little loud. The waitress was nice and the food was good. We ordered the birria pizza. It was delicious. We did get chips and salsa. This was the first time we had to pay for chips and salsa. All the taco restaurants I have ever been to were always free. They did have the 3 sauces on the table. For whatever reason I didn't really enjoy any of them. I did try them all just to see how they tasted but none of them were for me. They do have a nice variety of items on the menu so I will definitely be back to try some more things.

My family and I went on a Wednesday evening to celebrate my daughter's birthday. While we did make reservations I did see people walk in. The restaurant itself is completely decorated for Halloween which add a little razzle dazzle. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and attentive. Everyone in my party was pleased with their order. I found the portions to be more than reasonable. We all had left over food. Its also worth mentioning my daughter loved and devoured the tres leche cake she was given in honor of her birthday. While this may not be your regular taqueria something still feels authentic in the food..its not watered down American Mexican food.

The ambiance here is AHmazing! Bright, colorful and clean! Isabella our server was fantastic! She answered our many questions since it was the first time we'd been here. She made sure our waters were kept full. All the servers were wearing Christmas sweaters so it was very festive! They charge for chips and salsa $4.49 the salsa is super good, we did get a complimentary refill on the chips. I had 2 regular birria tacos (they offer a Christmas version where the corn tortillas are red) they were very good $11.98 for 2 then an additional $3 for the consomè sauce. My friend had the tempura fish taco that she proclaimed delicious and the al pastor no comment on that one. There were a couple of titanic flights served one of the creamy Christmas ones and a tequila one and a big deal is made over them like sparklers and a loud announcement. There was also a birthday and again sparklers and loud announcement. So if you enjoy attention on your birthday I recommend going here !

Food was delicious, atmosphere is fun but not too loud where you can't have a conversation and the drinks are delicious. Recommend the upgrade in tequila not only so you can get a cute little ducky lol but it tastes better. The Picanha Steak Taco was my favorite and the queso with chorizo. Attentive service and prompt

I went on a Sunday around 1 o'clock and it was extremely busy, but we still were sat immediately when we came in. It was loud but my husband and I were still able to hold a conversation. The food was delicious, a little pricey, but you can tell their food quality is why. Picanha taco was a little disappointing but if you like pickled onions, you might like it more than I did. My favorite part of the whole evening was the appetizer and drinks so we might just stick to thatnext time. Total: $63 before tip

Beautiful, spacious restaurant. Love the Halloween decorations. They went all out for Halloween. Plenty of parking around the area in Downtown L'ville. A lot of foods and alcohol choices. I felt like the foods were over priced. Chips and salsa are usually complimentary at other Mexican restaurants, but not this one. The Picanha taco and Pineapple and Guava Mocktail was good. Staff were superb!

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully designed. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome without ever being overbearing. Our server was David he was soooooo amazing !!!He was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we were seated, they were friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional. They anticipated our needs, made excellent menu recommendations, and checked on us at just the right moments without ever interrupting the experience.

I finally got the opportunity to check this place out. This restaurant is always crowded but we came here on a weekday for lunch and had no problem getting seated. To start out the food was exceptionally delicious, portion sizes were large and our waiter was awesome!!! I can see myself coming back here for date night, family night, office meeting or try out that flight of margaritas. Overall this place exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend trying this restaurant out.

Piero was so friendly and attentive! We came in tonight for our second experience at Rrreal Taco, and it's become one of our favorite night outs in Lawrenceville. Highly recommend the appetizer trio for the table - delicious chunky guacamole, queso, and smoky salsa. The chips are nice and sturdy, as I like them. The tacos slap, the drinks are wonderful, the price is right, and service is wonderful. Highly recommend! If you have a group, try the birria pizza. You won't regret it!

This location has only been open a few days and the level of service, food quality, kitchen timing and attention to detail is impressive. We arrived around 6pm on a Tuesday and there was already a line of folks waiting. We were immediately greeted by the host who started to take our name, but after spotting two open bar seats we beelined to grab those babies. We did it all, the margarita tasting flight, trio of dips with chips, a variety of tacos and have to say everything was stellar. We're still talking about the small details like food presentation, drink garnishes, overall service and vibes. WTG!!!!

Within five minutes of our conversation, he had another reservation set up for me to give Rreal another shot -- no drama, no ego, just someone who genuinely cared about making it right. And let me tell you -- they went crazy in the best way possible. From the moment we walked in, the energy was different. We were greeted warmly, seated promptly, and within minutes we had our drinks and appetizers. The vibe inside was electric -- shots flying across tables, people laughing at the bar, playoff basketball lighting up the screens (OKC vs Pacers, for the real fans), and groups just soaking up the night. It finally felt like the neighborhood spot I'd always hoped it could be. Now let's talk food -- the Taco Platter was the MVP. * Carne Asada - 4/5: tender, flavorful, and a solid go-to. * Al Pastor - 5/5: absolutely delicious. Rivaling the big names like Don Pedro and some of ATL's hardest-hitting taquerias. * Pork Belly - 3/5: not my personal favorite, but my friend said it tasted like "warm bacon," so there's that * Tempura Fish - 2/5: a bit of a reach for us, but worth trying if you're feeling adventurous. Not my thing, but I can see the appeal. And just when I thought we were wrapping up, Freddy (Freddie? Fredi? Freddíéy? -- hope I got it right!) came through with an off-menu treat: Dragon Fruit Margaritas that are apparently in the works. Let's just say -- when they drop, they're going to be a hit. Refreshing, bold, and exactly the kind of drink that sneaks up on you in the best way. To top it all off, they snapped a picture of us like they do for birthdays -- and I even walked away with what they jokingly called my Mexican visa . Great ambiance. Great service, server was on top of everything and handled us getting the wrong burrito without an issue. We had the chicken burrito and the quesabirria, chips and salsa and refried beans. Everything tasted amazing. We got the quesabirria to share and it was so good and the meat so tender I wanted it all to myself. Great place to bring the kids. It's a little loud so you really can't disturb someone else meal. Can't wait to go back. My picture was a little late as I had devoured some of my food.

The ambiance and vibes are top tear this is definitely the place to go in the spring and summer. I felt like I was on vacation haha . The drinks are amazing I highly recommend the passion fruit margarita frozen. We ordered the chicken tacos which were perfect and tried both the fish tacos and a picanto steak taco the battered fish taco is definitely 10/10 will order again. Seeing as this location just opened up it's obvious there are a few kinks that need to be worked out. Though our sever tried their best to be attentive they really dropped a few balls imo . First we ordered queso that we never received nor was it even put in . And the second was we also placed an order to go that they clearly forgot to put in as well because when we mentioned that's what we were waiting for they rushed to see the hold up and we looked at the QR code paperless check and it wasn't on there and a minute later it popped up. So we sat for over 20 minutes for the Togo to arrive . Though we observed them really trying to give the best service with friendlyness it seemed like if you didn't order everything in that first initial go around they forgot the moment they walked away. Please note there is a service charge for the convince of paperless receipts while it's less than two dollars it's pretty wild imo to charge for a convenience the restaurants enforced. But either way definitely a great place to bring out of town guest . The updates to the previous restaurant is beautiful this is definitely a great addition to Lawrenceville.

This place is so good!! Tiffany such good care of us and had so much patience because when we asked about fajitas I know she could've gotten mad it was clearly not on the menu but she was so caring and it was so nice!! She is so awesome and helped us with ordering our pitcher of mango margaritas for the table! We also got the trio app for table and then we got a quesadilla for one shrimp tacos grilled chicken tacos and fresh tacos . SO DELICIOUS!!! they also have an outside patio which so nice!! We ate inside as the group majority wanted to but def would also eat outside, also bonus they have gender neutral bathrooms!

Best Rreal Tacos location out of all the ones in GA. Food and service is fantastic our server Marco had great recommendations and was super knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Great place for casual dining or a date. Decorations and ambiance is always on point. Please check out this location if you haven't been.

This is a lively place, fun atmosphere. Definitely a place to wow guests. The service is great also. So why 3 stars? I didn't care for the food. Maybe it's so authentic that it's far outside of what I'm used to when I go to any random Mexican place. The chips and salsa were nada to write home about... The chips were hard enough to crack a tooth, and the salsa, while colorful, had no taste, no flavor. Got the chicken birria taco with consumme on the side, but those were also surprisingly pretty bland. The restrooms are unisex (which is ew!). As a dainty lady, walking into a water closet that a dude just used after adjusting his crotch on the way out is just gross! You never know what condition the room would be left in and if the seat is dry. I did smell a slight hint of urine and there was a puddle on the floor. Gross, gross, gross! They should separate the restrooms. Def a -1 star for that! Other than the bland food and unisex water closets, it's a cool place to hang out before going to a show at the Aurora. Maybe swing by for a colorful drink (the Titanic was very popular and causes raucous cheers from the restaurant staff each time one is delivered to a table).

I love that they get so into holidays. We went during October, so Halloween was obviously the theme. Employees were in costumes (some scary, some sexy, some funny), the inside and outside were decorated (I'm afraid to know how much they spent on all the decor), and they have themed drinks and food. I tried the pumpkin peach margarita and it was good. Not too much pumpkin, so I was happy with that. The guacamole was fresh and the tacos had great flavor. We were told they decorate for Christmas too, so we'll go back for that. I do suggest going on a weekday if you don't like waiting. We tried on a Saturday and the line was out the door so we didn't stay. Tried again on a Monday and got right in.

Rreal Tacos is a perfect place for a delicious meal! With the holidays closing in soon at the end of the year, the restaurant has decorated it to a Christmas theme with many beloved characters like The Grinch for example. The drinks were festive and delicious and a great way to get the party started. We had a flavored titanic and a coquito flight. The food was spicy and tasty to where I just wanted more and more of it. I tried the birria, asada and al pastor tacos. My table also ordered chicken nachos, birria ramen and costra tacos and it all looked delicious. The service was a little slow but it was mainly due to a very busy night at the restaurant. However, the server was attentive when servicing our table. The parking was somewhat difficult due to the area the restaurant was in but we were able to find parking on the street near it. Overall, I had a lovely experience and would recommend trying out a bite at Rreal Tacos!

Rreal Tacos in Lawrenceville is my new go to place for good Mexican food. This was my first time dining at Rreal Tacos and it did not disappoint. As soon as we parked the car I knew we were in for a good time. The outside and entrance to Rreal Tacos was in full blown Halloween mode. The outside was decorated with ghouls, goblins werewolf's and a giant spider. Inside was just as amazing with dim lighting, spider webs, hanging body parts, a life sized animated Michael Meyers and other scary characters placed throughout the restaurant. The walls were covered with all kinds of spooky pictures. Now about the food. We started with drinks. A Pineapple Guava Margarita and a Premium Margarita. Both drinks were very good. We ordered the Trio Appetizers that came with chips, delicious salsa, warm queso and fresh guacamole. The appetizers were delicious. My daughter had the Elote and an Asada Taco and I had a Carmitas Taco and a Pork Belly Taco. OMG.....we both agreed that these were some of the best tacos we've ever eaten in any restaurant. Chocked full of flavorfully seasoned meat and topped with the usual onions and cilantro. I was so full I could only eat one taco. Marco our server was absolutely amazing. He was polite, friendly, had a great smile and frequently stopped by checking on our needs. Thank you Marcos! With good food and reasonable prices Rreal Tacos is definitely worth visiting.

Loved visiting this during the Halloween season! They had tons of spooky decor throughout the whole restaurant! Such a vibe! They have a special Halloween menu at this time! Lunch time was perfect and not busy at all!

The food was good. The server was very attentive. It parking was spotty since the restaurant is located on a busy street next to an apartment and park.

Rreal Tacos is great on a normal day, but they absolutely nailed Halloween! This is the best place for Halloween in Lawrenceville.

Food was great!!! Waiter was attentive and friendly, however..... No horchata when we tried to order it even tho on the menu. No tea at all but in GA and no SWEET tea???? Seriously??? $7 for a beverage! Drinks are overpriced! Vibe is great but can you move to a beach instead of L'ville, as is on the building??? lol Yea, we prob won't be back. Giving 4* just because of the beverages and prices. If you want a place to party with good food and drinks and you're close to Lawrenceville then this is probably a great spot

This is a beautiful restaurant. I love the decor, and service was top notch. I also enjoyed my drink, the vinorita. However, food fell short for me. I had the steak taco and the barbacoa taco. The flavors were pretty bland. I asked for a side of queso to add to both. If I return, I'd try another dish.

A friend told me about this restaurant and the awesome Halloween decor so we had to try it out. It was a lot of fun! The food came out quickly, and was very good. Our server was great too. Definitely want to go back before Halloween is over.

What went well ??EVERYTHING! Order was ready at the pickup time, well packaged, HOT & DELICIOUS ! Perfectly seasoned, no sauces needed, meat piled high, priced just right... what more can you ask for?!?! Oh - ambiance... mellow! Order, chow down & chill! My #1 go to spot! this place!

Great food. Had the taco that has the cheese fried onto the tortilla. Great atmosphere and service was good. Only issue is they lowered the plastic curtains outside and it made it real warm.

We went to Rreal Tacos in Lawrenceville in a Friday evening. It's still fairly new to the DTL area. They don't take reservations on the weekends after like 3p, which was kind of a bummer, but the guy who answered the phone said if you are there by 5, there is not usually a wait, so we were there at 5, and he was correct. We were seated right away! To ere were four in our party and we ordered drinks. I got a Texas Margarita, two people ordered Corona Lights (which we were happy they had!) and one ordered a mojito. The first three drinks were out promptly, but the mojito took awhile. Granted, mojitos can be a pain to make sometimes. It was no biggie. We ordered the trio appetizer which was great. Just the right size for us to split. Then three of us ordered various tacos and one person ordered a quesadilla. The tacos came out quickly and were delicious!! For some reason the quesadilla took forever! Of course it was the person who ordered the mojito, so he was starting to take it personal. (Just kidding!). When he did get it, he realized he needed sour cream so he asked for that, which also took a long time. When he got it, it was super warm. So I'm thinking there might still be a learning curve going on with the food runners. Our server, Marissa, was awesome! (On the receipt it said her name was Joanna, but she explained they have to use their legal name in the system, but she goes by Marissa). She was exceptionally friendly and had a great sense of humor! We will definitely ask for her section when we return! Everyone enjoyed their food...for me, the Tempura Fish taco was the winner! But a close second was the Costra Taco. I ate everything on my plate! And we finished by trying both desserts they offer...the Tres Leches Cake and Platano Mucho, which is basically fried plantains. Both were good...I probably wouldn't order the plantains again but the cake was amazing! Oh...and the margarita was awesome...they don't skimp on the tequila!

Great vibes, cute patio and also indoor seating available. Didn't like that the chips with salsa, cheese, and guacamole was almost $20. Tacos were good, I liked my Al pastor taco. Would love to come back for the margaritas. Happy that there is a restaurant like this in downtown Lawrenceville

The indoor decor is absolutely drop dead gorgeous, the food was absolutely delicious the quesabirria was a game changer! And don't get me started on the waiter she was amazing and kind! I would 100% come back! Viva La Mexico!! Ame Guns 11 years old
