Stopped here on our way down to Bloomington. Had lunch and a couple brews. Jay was very friendly and chatty and had some fantastic suggestions for beers. Bought a growler for later. Hope to stop back again on the way home.

I tried a flight of their beers, and I was pretty happy with it. There weren’t any off flavors, and nothing seemed watered down. Overall, each beer was a good representation of its style. With Nelly’s just down the hall, there’s good food too, and the place is quite comfortable. It seemed popular while I visited. It’s worth a stop if you’re thirsty for a beer while traveling on the old Route 66.

Get your kicks! I wish I could've stayed a bit and sampled more, dropped in for a quick four pack. The solo staff was extra friendly. It is a big enjoyable space with something to treat all the tastes. I really liked the red ale. Brought that home and liked it even more!

Google
GREAT selection of craft brews with some truly unique blends. I won't lost as they change often but stop in you won't be disappointed. They have flights and seriously something for every taste.

We didn't eat while we were there, but we did two flights of beers. Service was nice, however, the beers were universally awful. None we ordered were sours, since we don't like those, but you'd swear that all eight we received were sours. No depth of flavor, off-style, and sour. So very disappointing. I'm not sure if they're not practicing appropriate cleaning practices between batches or just don't know what they're doing. But if you enjoy anything other than yours, dont go there.

Small town brewery! Great beer and good people. Great atmosphere and fun place to hang out. The beer was very good and plenty of options for those who like specific types. I would like to go on a weekend or whenever they have events.

Google
Absolutely 💜 this place! So proud that my small town has such a cool brewery. The brews are always tasty, the tunes are always cheesy, and the servers are always super friendly! Highly recommend checking it out if you’re cruising down Route 66! 👍

Google
Good selection of beers. Also stocks a few Meads from Unpossible Mead in Dwight. Can get food from Nelly's which is housed with OSB. Bartenders have always been nice and knowledgeable. Lots of room for groups and families. Not my favorite craft beers but always enjoy stopping by.

Yelp
Loved this place! We will definitely be back. Thank you for the good experience. We had two flights of beer. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We didn't get food, but it looked really good and will have to try it next time. There's a game room and an outside area. We sat at the bar enjoying the ambiance and tv's while sipping on some awesome brews.

Yelp
A small locally owned brewery located along the legendary Route 66 in the small town of Wilmington. Inside and outdoor seating available..plenty of parking. You order yourself . Menu is available at the bar or thru a QR code. They offer lagers, fruity sours,IPAs along with ciders and seltzers. I knew I wasn't going to stay long I just tried their RT66 Old Wilmatucky lager 4.6 %. Light and refreshing. They offer 2 sizes of beers along with flights. Food is available thru Nelly's which shares space with the brewery. For a quick stop along Route 66 or after a day on antiquing in Wilmington, give them a try and support a local business .

Yelp
Several great brews made in house!! I chose the River Bay Red & wasn't disappointed!! Take note of entry, as the slider barn door just inside of this establishment is where you'll go to for condiments & napkins to accompany the food served from the back of the house. We ordered pulled pork nachos, 1/2# burger, fries & rings. Top quality food...bar food served with a bit of extra care & not overly greasy. We WILL be back!!

Yelp
Fantastic beers. Fantastic food. Even better employees. They have some of the best Hill liars and their IPA is awesome.

Yelp
A small brewery with a Route 66 theme so as cool as you can her around here. It has quite a few beers on tap for not having that much room. Route 66 Old School is a pretty new brewery and the only one in town it seems. Get some pretzels o munch on. The prices are pretty good and not a ripoff like some other places. I tried a couple beers. Many are pretty smooth and not extremely hoppy. That's a good thing because too hoppy is hard to drink it. Lots of funny names for beers. They have one called Enter Pigman. It's $6 for a pint. This is a New England hazy IPA that has a citrusy and juicy taste. Also they have pretzels to snack on while imbibing. It's $6 for a bag so fuck it. There's a few restaurants you can bring food from in here so that's a better option. Good beer. It has quite a lot for a small place like this. The restaurants around this also deliver here to you as well.

Yelp
What a neat little brewery to visit right off of RT 66, if you go you'll definitely have to try the Smokey the beer and their red ale. Great service, good beer. I'd highly recommend this place

Yelp
When we were enjoying our staycation in Illinois, we headed out to do some fishing down in Braidwood. Of course, we always try and find a local watering hole, preferably a brewery if possible, and RT66 checked all the boxes! My Dad made the whole route 66 years ago, and it was great to be able to share our time here and reminisce about not only his trip but this road that truly watched our country grow and develop. As far as brews go, they were pretty tasty. We only had two but were pleased with our choices. My husband said his porter could have had a little more coffee punch but still a good flavored brew. There are tons of things to do, our 16 year old son definitely dug playing some old-school video games as well as killing us in shuffleboard. Tiki toss, golden tee, and even slots for over 21 if that is your jam. The coolest thing was the buy someone a beer tally board because they even included the trades! While my husband is a plumber, he didn't partake in one, but I love this, and teachers too! Pay it forward with a beer to some of the hardest working people out there! That truly is embracing the spirit of route 66!

Yelp
I assume this is the Nelly's as well with the good hamburgers. Only place of value in the area. My son and I had. Good hamburger and fries. Good beer very reasonably priced. Good service up front at bar.

Yelp
Stopped here on a road trip, and we were impressed. Beer selection was great, and the atmosphere welcoming and fun. The bartender did a great job and was helpful when picking a beer or food from the attached eatery. We would love to visit again!

Yelp
This place has been on my bucket list since it first opened. It's located in the heart of Wilmington in a beautiful strip area. For a brewery in a rural city it definitely feels warm, welcoming with a great vibe from the people. There's so many varieties of drinks from ciders, ipas and even a coke for your designated driver. Very friendly staff and they do have events here too on certain nights (mainly music).... Definitely worth checking iu out

Yelp
Found this place to be delightful very much a small town vibe. The decor showed you the small town feel and American pride. Service was top notch and the crowd made you feel so Welcome definitely worth another trip down Route 66

Yelp
Had the New England IPA and the Rye IPA. The NEIPA was very good. The Rye IPA was solid.

Yelp
Such a cute place! Had a flight and a pint. Prices were good & beer was awesome. So fun try local, different brews. Super clean & friendly atmosphere as well. Had a lot of fun with a friend for a girls night out here. My only regret is not leaving with a growler!

Yelp
I thought this was a great place in Wilmington for a date night. They have some really good craft beers. We even ordered from Nelly's next door and ate it while we drank.

Yelp
This spot is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it location but I'm so glad we didnt! My boyfriend and I came in on a Sunday afternoon and stayed for 2 rounds of beer and a 4-beer flight. The beer is good and much better than I expected. I was very happy to see options ranging from light to dark (stout) and the creativity of their beer flavor combinations is on-point. The inside is well decorated, though a very typical brewery setting with their fermenters on full display. The gal who served us was very friendly and was obviously very proud to work there. She shared many of the community-focued events the brewery is affiliated with. She was also eager to share all the wonderful information on the brewery and the staff. She clearly took time to learn about beer making and admitted when she didn't know something. She was honestly such a wonderful addition to our visit and I loved her presence! We will be back! I am looking forward to seeing them grow and wish them the best! When the staff has nothing but good things to say about the owners (who apparently also own the Nelly's location next door), the brewer and the business, it's a winner in my book!

Yelp
What a chill place! Lots of local options. No food but there's a place next-door! Lots of board games to enjoy with friends including adult Jenga!! Friendly staff give this place a really great vibe. All around good time! This place is a gem!

Yelp
We give it a 3.5. Pretty rural but nice inside. The beer was subpar. It has potential but nothin grabbed us. They have bags, no food, but is attached to food and a furniture store.

Yelp
Loved the beer and good company. Angie was welcoming and knowledgeable about the brews. Hit the jackpot with happy hour special - dollar off brews. Came after angling at Braidwood catfishery and tried three excellent brews with my fave being a Berliner Weiss. I would make it a point to visit if you love gr8 beer.

Yelp
Great place and terrific brew BUT BEWARE as some of the bartenders do not mask!! Indoors !!
