Rubaiyat Madrid

Rabaiyat Madrid delivered an outstanding dining experience. The quality of the meat was exceptional, perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly handled with real craftsmanship. The jamón and chorizo were absolute standouts, rich, authentic, and exactly what you hope to find in Madrid. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service attentive, and every plate feels thoughtfully prepared. A place that truly celebrates great Spanish flavors. Highly recommended.

I had lunch and dinner. It was a very enjoyable both times. The outside sitting is great. Even in the middle of summer you feel comfortable. The steaks were amazing. Mignardises served with coffee were memorablle.

One of my favourites in Madrid, great service, delicious food and wine and great experience. Generous tapas and nice sweets on the house. Thank you! We'll be back!

I would have given them 4 maybe 5 star because the meat was delicious and the food over all is good, the starter might needed more seasonings BUT my issue was the service, I had to ask for things twice and 3 times, I like my steak with mustard, it took me to ask 3 people to get it. The desserts are too heavy, average. The decor and ambiance were lovely. I thought it was a bit expensive for the amount of food we ordered.

Been here twice. Both of them amazing. Meat lovers paradise. Everyone of the staff was excellent. The main restaurant is under renovation, the terrace was too hot that evening but it still had another section under a/c.

Rubaiyat is a must-visit for meat lovers. The quality is out of this world! Each cut was cooked to perfection and the flavor was incredible. The service was attentive and the atmosphere elegant. Highly recommend!

Everything worked out perfectly… till the bill came…😵‍💫🤑 Don’t get me wrong, it is not that they overpriced (well… slightly with the meat… but it was fantastic anyways so happy to pay it) my issue is that as a customer, I like to make my own choices. Again, nothing wrong with quality and quantity; but in Spain; it usually is common that certain places bring a small tapa before you get in serious eating business… we call it: “opening the stomach or mouth” - “Para abrir boca…” so here they bring the mix platter and some amazing cheese fluffy small breads that are fantastic, but disguised into a tapa kind of deal that later you will have to pay for. And again, it’s not the price of it, it’s the principle of me having a choice whether I want it or not since am paying for it. Get it? At least ask if we want a tapa to begin with or not so I can choose. Other than that, this is a fantastic place. Great ambience inside and outside on the summer terrace, big tables, comfortable chairs and nice light all around. Service is good, friendly and profesional. Not excessively friendly, not too distant just the right attitude. Then there’s the food. We had (besides the appetizers that were imposed to us) a great starter with a perfectly made king crab cannelloni and a great Master Beef piece, 40 days aged and a hot stone after it got a bit chilled. We ordered the mash potatoes with truffle and they brought the puffed fries. All this with great Ribera wine and wrapped up with the cheese cake and guayaba ice cream that is to die for.

Great meat cuts and very consistent quality and service. Their cheese bread is to die for. The Rubayat chain is one of my favourites in the world, a must go when I'm in Madrid, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo.

Great place to eat in the area. Can't say nicer things. Madrid cuisine is hit or miss, one really needs to use Google reviews or Yelp to find that perfect dining spot. However, this one will not disappoint. Just was unaware that the bread being served French-style was an additional 9€ - decline because it wasn't even that good and they provide more than enough on the table. A pleasant surprise was the cutest arrangement of mini macaroons and cookies that accompanied the coffee - perfect idea!!!

Excellent food and excellent service! Mushroom app and then the Kobe beef for two was delicious. Bread and several delicious dipping sauces comes with the meal. Atmosphere very nice. Highly recommend and would return to eat here again.

Rubaiyat is not for tourists. Here, in the high-rent district, near P. Castilla, you're more likely to run into a PE investor or banker taking his or her family to dinner. But this Brazilian steakhouse is 'la leche' and I can't recommend the Picanhas cut more highly.

I will give Rubaiyat a very strong four-star rating. The decor, the food, the professional service, and the attention to detail was a very pleasant and a wonderful surprise. I loved the decor with wrought iron, rustic wood, and distressed leather. The outdoor eating area is a garden oasis with a spraying system to keep you cool and comfortable on a hot summer day. This company has restaurants in Brazil and Peru also. I have never had food this well-prepared or as delicious in either country. I will look them up when traveling. The wine list was exemplary. I was given a tour of the extensive wine cellars (plural!) This restaurant has an amazing beef selection but on a hot summer day, seafood sounded more appealing. The lobster salad with a mango vinaigrette, hake, focaccia, and the dulce de leche crepes were all fabulous. They have rooms for private parties also on the lower level. Valet parking is available. We have been there with a group of 15 persons for dinner. The overall impression is very well, very friendly welcome service, nicely (classic) dressed waiters and staff and an modern but still warm interior. However, the dinner was "just ok" and therefore somwhat disappointing, taking into account the prices on the menu. For starters, we had some salad an some mixed plates. They were well in the "just ok" regime. The bread on the other hand side was offered from a huge basket and bread provided on the table was placed in neat wooden stands. The entire bread was really fresh and good. As a main course, went for the Baby Beef. The meat alone was very, very good. Unfortunately it wasn't cooked well. I ordered medium rare and it was actually barely rare, tending towards blue. Shure, I could have asked to have it on the grill once more, but for a steak house in this league, this shouldn't happen, especially as it wasn't a single issue in our group. After the dinner we were offered a round of caipirinhas on the house, which we gladly accepted. Well, the intention was good, but it was not drinkable: Too much Cachaca is wrong, too. Overall this brings me to a three star rating - or "just ok"

I chanced upon this place on the net, and read some of their reviews. Everybody says good things about them so I thought I'd give it a shot. And I wasn't disappointed. It's an elegant restaurant with classic decoration, wooden tables, big windows, and tables placed with enough distance. It was almost filled on the Sunday evening we were there. We tried the special tasting menu that was on offer that certain night. It includes a neat selection of their popular items. I really can't say which one I liked the most: the seafood, fish, meat, or the desserts. Everything tasted perfectly. Maybe the service could be a bit faster, and the waiters a bit more professional, but I think I wouldn't mind going back again on a special occasion. I didn't take any photos: I preferred to enjoy my meal instead.

An incredibly beautiful terrace, one of the best in Madrid. Delicious beef, but I think their octopus is really the star, also their mushroom carpaccio starter is to die for. The best place for a fancy birthday. Wonderful service, an amazing wine list.

There was 4 people in our group and each of us ordered a special "Thanksgiving menu". Each menu is 55 euros. The turkey was not warm enough, just lukewarm. Maybe because it took them so long to serve it? The menu lists appetizers and patisseries. There were barely enough of these for the 4 of us. I think they just served us the same amount of appetizers and patisseries one person would have gotten with one menu. We are paying 55 euros each, I do expect each person in our group to get exactly the same as single person would have gotten if they ordered just 1 menu. We should have ordered 1 menu and something else for the other 3 of us. I appreciate that they are mindful about us not eating too much, but we are paying 220 euros total here. I feel scammed.

Went to this Resturant with my 2 sister and brother for dinner. Despite of booking a table by 9pm early seating for Spain, we still managed to leave by 11.30. Yes we were having a good time, but the slowness of the stuff also play a part on this. The stuff seems clumsy with at least 3 broken glasses broken, a couple of knives/forks in the floor and even a full bottle of wine !!!. The situation was tried to be improved with an overly friendly head of the room. Food wise.. I was expecting the whoa factor for my meat... And honestly it was good, but not spectacular as I was expecting and as I remember when I used to live in Madrid So net, yes it is a good place, and probably would go back... But not in the very short term...

Muy buen restaurante, terraza muy agradable!
