Where To Eat Outside In Palm Springs - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"You come to Ruben and Ozzy’s because the midday sun is taking zero prisoners and you need a beer and some oysters. This is a glorified dive bar with a big front patio where you can drink cheaply in a socially distant environment. With $5 alcoholic oyster shooters though, be sure you plan a safe ride home in advance." - brant cox

Google
Wow we highly recommend this restaurant! We were fortunate enough to get a seat at the bar and struck up a conversation with the chef who we found out was the owner Ozzy. We tried the Oyster Rockefeller which were awesome, next we tried a Shrimp Taco which was equally as good, what hit it out of the park were the baked New Orleans Oysters. Cannot wait to go back. We highly recommend!!

If you do not come to this place while in Palm Springs, California, you are missing out! Not only is the food amazing and served hot and fresh in front of you, the owner Ozzy makes it even more special. Definitely sit at the bar and watch his Masterpiece’s come to life! We had the New Orleans oysters, Ozzie, and Reuben specials. Everything was absolutely amazing! We even bought T-shirts because we loved it that much 😁

This is my second visit during my trip to Palm Springs, and it didn't disappoint. The food is out of this world ... hands down the best seafood in the city! Everything is incredibly fresh and the flavors are absolute perfection.

Google
I've always wanted to visit this oyster bar when visiting PS and this time I finally did. I specifically went to try their oysters and wasn't disappointed. They were fresh, meaty, and a perfect snack to have on their patio. They were well chucked with no shell fragments in the meat. Lemons were fresh. Oyster shooters looked delicious too. Service at the table was basic. Would love to come again for oysters and to try other menu items. For a person or two, the bar may be more comfortable.

Google
We really like this little restaurant in downtown Palm Springs. They have a great menu, indoor and outdoor seating, fair prices, and fairly good service. It is always a busy place, and that speaks to the quality of the food. Our meal was excellent! I can highly recommend the calamari and the crab enchiladas. Both were amazing! It is best to have a reservation here for dinner, but we have walked up several times and were able to get a table after a short wait. You can also sit at the bar if you don’t have reservations and seats are available. I would hesitate to recommend this restaurant if you are vegetarian or vegan, as menu options are limited. We will definitely keep returning here and will recommend it to our friends.

Google
This is a hidden gem in Palm Springs. Fresh seafood & splashy tropical drinks. Food- halibut ceviche: firm, fresh & perfectly cooked in lime and citrus. New Orleans oysters: hint of mustard, cream & melted mozzarella cheese. Halibut steak: portions are outrageously huge. Plenty of prefectly steamed broccoli and a large size of Alfredo sauce angel hair. Staff-all well trained, efficient, happy & polite. The man in charge of this melange is the charming Ruben Lopez, co-owner with his brother Ozzy and chef de cuisine. Overly fair pricing for quality and quantity for seafood. Spectacular evening.

We had dinner just an hour before closing, but we were greeted warmly and seated quickly, which made a great first impression. We ordered the crab enchiladas and Ozzy’s Special—huge shrimp in a sweet and spicy sauce—and both dishes were absolutely delicious. I don’t usually return to the same restaurant, but this is definitely a place I’d come back to!

Google
The food was very good, warm and fresh and served quickly with a smile. Friendly location with patrons in pleasant moods. Outside heaters kept the evening chill away. Food servings were large enough to be satisfying, overall a very pleasant experience.

Yelp
We found this little gem and it gave us the BEST dining experience we've ever had! When we arrived as we waited outside to be seated, "Ozzy" came out to greet us and walked us in. We sat at the counter top and let him know it was our first time. He gave us some recommendations and we tried each one! The food is delicious! The countertop is the best seat! You get to experience the magic as he's cooking while having a great conversation with him. The entire staff was so friendly and attentive! We went back the next day to try other items on the menu. We will definitely dine there each time we are in Palm Springs. Highly recommend! We had The New Orleans Oysters, a Tequila Oyster shot, stuffed Artichoke, Seafood Fettuccine, Clam Chowder, lamb chops, shrimp and fish tacos, regular oysters, Mexican Poke, and a mud pie! Delish!!! Thank you Ozzy, Juan, and staff for your attentiveness! Excellent Customer Service and amazing food!

Yelp
I'm sorry but this place is rough. The drinks were pretty bad. All four of us abandoned our drinks bc they were so bad. They say that they are an oyster bar but only had one choice of oysters. They were also unshucked bc they claimed they were accused of reusing their shells. Curious as to what you would put in them to reuse. Went here a couple years ago and it was pretty good. This time it was a really tough experience.

Yelp
Great food, friendly service in a cute restaurant in the center of town. Unfortunately, taking a star off because, while it was a busy night, it took a VERY long time for food to come out. Enough the even the servers started commenting on it.

Yelp
It's a must whenever in Palm Springs. We always try to have a meal each and everytime. They do close for a while during a certain time. A long holiday break for their employees. But it makes up each everytime. It's always busy during dinner which is a sign that this place is good. Not big in size but decent enough on the patio. A couple hi tops table inside and the bar counter that overlooks to the kitchen. It's actually pretty cool seeing the meals being prepared. Service is always great with all the staff. This visit, started off with the oyster Rockefeller and the ahi tuna. Everything was great. Flavors were always on point. Tuna was pretty good in size which was shared between four of us. Entrees, we all went for the Ruben's special with tons of seafood in a white wine sauce tossed with linguine. And the grilled swordfish with veggies and rice. Everything was amazing as always. Pasta is quite massive and the potion of the swordfish was great. Everything went down really well. Food is always amazing hence we're always making sure to have a meal. Service, staff, all friendly and sweet. Until next time.

Yelp
A dive bar vibe with flavorful food. Of course we started with some oysters. Considering they call themselves an oyster bar, I was expecting more options for oysters. Shared some seafood enchiladas, which were tasty and filling. Service was friendly and fast.

Yelp
At the recommendation of the front desk crew at Del Marcos Hotel and La Sierra Villas, I took the 8-10 min walk to this neighborhood gem. Misters overhead on the outdoor patio kept things cool during this late spring evening. Plenty of outdoor seating with some indoor seats available, too. I opted for the shrimp and halibut ceviche special. What a treat! Flavors of seafood, citrus, cilantro and jalapeño perfectly accompanied the home made tortilla chips- which were not greasy. Good thing I was alone as I finished the 1.5 cup serving. Altho it would be a nice appy as well. My tastebuds are happy campers! Very friendly and attentive staff. I appreciated my server's opinion on the specials and super happy I chose the ceviche. Reasonably priced, too. All in with 20% tip, $28. Will I come back? You bet!! A full menu of seafood/Mexican dishes to explore.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE this place. The host is super nice and seats you where you'd like with a smile. All the staff is very friendly and accommodating. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is Ruben's Special. This pasta has a variety of different seafoods and it's so refreshing. Sitting on the patio is lovely as well, the nicely lit up area and getting a glimpse of the Palm Springs feel!

Yelp
This place has became a must for my Palm Spring family trips. All the staff were nice and fast with food and drinks. The place is small but you can sit outside too. The mountain views are great during sunset. Put on your shades though, it's very hot and sunny in summer. The food is always tasty and well decorated as usual. See you again soon :)

Yelp
My first time here and I was shocked with how delicious everything was. We ordered the stuffed artichoke and the rockefeller oysters for our appetizers. For our main dishes we had the crab enchiladas and the ozzy's special. Everything was creamy and packed with flavor but not too overwhelming. The fall drinks were tasty as well. The ambiance was cozy with the outdoor seating and the servers were attentive to our needs. Will definitely recommend and will come back soon for the holiday drinks!

Yelp
We've tried coming here several times, but it was always too crowded. This time, we were seated immediately with our two puppies outside. Fortunately, Maya was our waitress. She was friendly, patient, and took time to answer all of our questions. We wound up enjoying a very, very good meal. We started off with a good clam chowder, followed by Oysters Rockefeller and New Orleans oysters. We had a half order of each of the oysters, and then an order of seafood fettuccine. The oysters and seafood fettuccine were excellent. Each of the different seafood items in the fettuccine were cooked to perfection. Very tender, and delicious. With a generous tip it was about $100. So glad we came here.

Yelp
Quick stop before checking into our hotel. Sat midday not busy, parking lot nearby. Oysters: really large, wasn't told what kind they were and more oceany taste. Not my fav. Shrimp tacos good flavor would get again. Alfredo: overall decent light sauce. Service was ok.

Yelp
We were unfortunately seated close to the bathroom and with the dry heat all around and not too much circulation, it does make it a bit smelly. We got the grilled fish and grilled shrimp taco of which both were fairly good size but also $8/taco. The shrimp scampi was pretty plain and pricey as well for a dive bar type of setting.

Yelp
Amazing as always! This time I veered to something different on the menu, normally opting for my favorite fish tacos, so NOW trying their seafood fettuccine... OMG! My new favorite, and we've been coming for years! Glad I tried something new! I also had the Ozzy margarita, which was a perfect pour thanks to the bartender, Irene. Sooo, if youre ever in PS, stop by for a culinary treat!!! Say "Hi" to the magicians Ozzy and Arturo, who are conjuring up delectable cuisine! SUCH TALENTED CHEFS!!! Happy Sunday everyone!

Yelp
Absolutely yummylicious food and great friendly service! It is located in the downtown central area of Palm Springs. Walking distance from several hotels and near the heart of the nightlife. The restaurant is smaller on the inside, but they have patio seating outside with misters to combat the Palm Springs SCORCH! The ambience gives you a Baja feel all the way around. The colors are themed in deep sea blue and metallic colors. The bar is spacious and very well stocked unless you want Midori. You can sit at the booth or the small tables around the inside of the restaurant. The decor, of course again, gives you the sea worthiness of Baja. Our service professional was Myra. She has one of the best personalities! She was so friendly and helpful! She even appreciated us being dorks! Now that in itself proves that she has amazing patience! We got there around 5:00 p.m. because we had a show to catch at a nearby hotel. I would definitely suggest to get there early because it filled up rather quickly. We ordered the following: Oysters on a half shell which were very fresh and definitely did not have that fishy icky taste! I would like to suggest for them to maybe scrub the shell a little bit more because there were a lot of tidbits as I was biting into the oysters. My husband ordered the clam chowder which I was not allowed to have after he tasted it. We made the mistake at another restaurant and ordered a humongous bowl of the clam chowder and it seriously tasted like evaporated milk. This was a total opposite! My husband is a finicky person when it comes to his clam chowder. He devoured it and claimed it was one of the best ones that he had. Unfortunately, I can't attest to this because I wasn't allowed to have any. I also ordered the seafood pasta special which basically was linguine, a whole bunch of seafood and a white wine garlic lemon sauce. Mind you, I am actually really picky about my seafood pasta and I would definitely rate this five stars. It came out piping hot! The noodles were cooked perfectly and actually had the flavor of the sauce in them. The sauce was well balanced and you can taste everything from the garlic to the wine to the lemon! The best part about this is that there were an abundance of shrimp, clams, muscles and bits of crab. My husband ordered a seafood pasta as well. His was in a tangy Sweet red sauce served with manicotti noodles. Just like my dish it was packed with seafood and the sauce was amazing. It went so perfectly with the garlic bread that was given to us! The adult soda that was ordered was a Blue lemon drop. Definitely not watered down and had a great sweet yet deep flavor to it. Definitely will be back whenever we are back in Palm Springs just to see Lola and be blessed by her amazing service. Oh yeah! The yummilicious food is also another factor Make sure to order the clam chowder! OMG!!!

Yelp
Food: wow this was one of the best foods my college/work friend and I had during our spontaneous Palm Spring trip! the jumbo cocktail shrimp was crispy while the alfredo linguine was just the right amount of cheese and cream, cooked al dente. Cioppino was a great blend of abundant seafood meat with savory tomato sauce. But the baked oysters really hit home run for both of us, you gotta try it! Our drinks were also fabulous addition to our meals. Price: Cioppino was about $38, shrimp with linguine dish was about $26, baked oysters were about $21, which are all sorta in the pricier side, but we had a great time and enjoyed the food and flavor thoroughly Ambiance: not very fancy inside, actually feels like a standard American diner actually, not too big interior. good place to hang with friends to catch up and grab a drink along with oysters/other seafood dishes Service: no issues with getting our food and drinks Parking: I don't actually recall very well, but I remember finding parking not too far from the restaurant itself, we did go on a weekday night, so it might not have been too busy

Yelp
The Good: The Oysters Rockefeller were big! And the ratio of sauce and spinach was just right. They're definitely worth the price. And, they take contactless payment (though you have to go up to their POS to do it). The Areas of Opportunity: - I was seated at the bar by the host, sitting in the middle seat of 3 seats. I thought this was odd, but didn't question it. About 7-8 minutes into my sitting, a hostess asked me to move because "I need two seats and you sat in the middle". - I waited 16 minutes for a server to come over to greet me, only to say "I'll be right with you." They came back 3 minutes later. - When the server arrived to take everyone's order seated near me, the couple to my right ordered the seared ahi tuna, oysters on the half shell, and campechana; the couple to my left ordered two fried oyster tacos and the seafood fettuccine; I ordered the oysters Rockefeller. Everyone's food came out before mine. - After I was seated, a party of 5 was seated at a table behind me. This group was able to eat and leave before I was given the opportunity to order my entree. (Granted, they had a different server who appeared to be more attentive.) - An hour into my visit, I decided to pay and leave, having only ordered one appetizer and a glass of wine. The couple to my right, who stated they were locals and frequent visitors, assured me that the service was "normally not this bad" and that I should give it another chance next time I'm in town. That is yet to be determined.

Yelp
Ugh! Showed up on Sunday 2/9 at 2:30 PM and they are closed. No big deal if you would please list it on your website. I think I'm only whining because I walked 1.5 miles specifically to get I will be back though to try again.

Yelp
Really great service, food was spectacular and Ozzy was back there cooking ! 10/10 will recommend and be back here every time i come To town

Yelp
So..... we were visiting and hunting and hunting for a seafood place. We had a hankering for oysters and the like and were unsure. We have visited before and have walked by this place - probably 100 times and had not noticed. Well. Let me tell you something. The quality of this food is absolutely top notch. They get fresh seafood delivered DAILY and it shows. The owner operator actually is in the back being the chef- making sure everything is cooked to perfection. As you may have noticed I'm not a very generous reviewer unless I feel it's earned and well deserved. I am almost hesitant to share this place as it's the favorite of the locals and the vibe is uber laid back and chill. Even the wait staff are awesome. We ordered 2 orders of oysters on the half shell. Surprise surprises there is fresh grated horseradish- if you know you know. We had an order of fried shrimp. Lawdhavemercy- it was done perfect. Shrimp were perfectly done. The breading was great. . And the seasoning made it pare perfectly with the cocktail sauce Now those oysters.... . I rarely eat half shells because I'm - picky. These were top notch, they were super fresh and absolutely lovely. I'm kinda sad I don't live there because I could just eat these all of the time. Here are some secrets. Do NOT share. Their clamshowda' is fresh made and you can enjoy its fresh savory aroma while you enter. They also have a rare and limited homemade lobster bisque- ONLY ON FRIDAY. They have the most lovely outdoor seating..... The bar makes excellent drinks.... The pour is absolutely not stingy. We even had the rare opportunity to meet the owner/chef and just those few moments underscored just how special this place is. It's a secret, quiet, chill hole in the wall place that is deserving its customers to be the same. If you demand the fancy fru fru seafood with attitude and bland seafood- this is not the place for you. If however you are a discerning connoisseur of seafood- THIS is the place for you. I have not ever had a full 100% exceptional service and seafood place and I've eaten up and down the west coast. Love this place and you will too!

Yelp
We were in Palm Springs visiting for the weekend and decided to try this place based off of reviews we read online. We came during dinner over the weekend and there was about a 45 minute wait. We ordered a bunch of things to share with our party and our server asked if we wanted everything to come out all at once. We told him no, just bring out whatever is done since we were so hungry. Service was extremely slow, we had to flag down our server many times. We were expecting our appetizers and soup to come out pretty fast but it still took over 30 minutes. The oyster Rockefeller and New Orleans oysters and both came out cold. Two entrees came out shortly after, we asked about the clam chowder and our server said it was going coming out with the rest of the entrees like we requested. Uhh no, we actually asked for whatever is ready to come out first. I have a feeling that's why the oysters came out cold, they were waiting for all the entrees to be ready. Honestly everything we ordered was mid, the crab enchiladas were flavorless and mushy. The fish tacos were bland and needed salsa or hot sauce. We asked for hot sauce but our server forgot about it, reminded him 2 times and by then the tacos were cold. The surf and turf was average, nothing special. The Cajun pasta was watery, however it was probably best thing we ordered sadly. The ciopinno was the last to come out and by then we were over it, it was nothing to rave about. Overall, I don't think we'll be returning, we were underwhelmed and disappointed. There are definitely way better options in the area.

Yelp
MY FAVORITE PLACE FOR OYSTERS!!! My husband and I regularly try oysters from fine dining to taco spots on the water and let me tell you this is STILL our favorite place. I've been here probably 5x and oysters are fresh, food is delicious, drinks are fantastic and the staff is friendly and attentive! I love the Baja tacos best but after the oysters idc what I eat they're so good . Super fresh please come here and enjoy. Add an oyster shot too!
google avatar

Amanda Z.

Yelp
Definitely recommend it! They have lunch menu on weekends too. We had Cajun shrimp pasta and some seafood Alfredo. Both were $20. There was good amount of seafood in it and the portion was big.
google avatar

Carmen S.

Yelp
Every time I visit, the seafood is always fresh and delicious. This place never disappoints! The service here is always impeccable. The staff is so attentive and friendly, it really makes the experience special.

Yelp
Busy restaurant. Lively and lots of energy. Enjoyed sitting at the bar. Had a couple cocktails and watched them chefs cook. They are very energetic and good at what they do. Oysters were really good. Great place for a group of friends.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients and served right out of the hot pan. Both my wife's seafood fettuccine and my choippino Italian seafood dishes where amazing. This place rocks!!! It's a small place off the main street and has some wait times. Yet worth it and the wait tells you local folks know this Food is Delisioso...
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
If I could give this place 1 million stars I would! The steamed clams and white wine sauce were excellent and the fish & shrimp tacos were also 10/10. But the Seafood Fettuccine was to die for!!!!! The service was amazing, we even got to chatting with Ozzy himself! Wonderful place, cannot wait to come back!

Yelp
Wow! Amazing food and service. Will definitely be back! We've been wanting to try this place when we visit PS. FINALLY made it in. The patio was full and we thought we had to wait. ... but we Didn't have to wait, but we came early for dinner (Memorial Day weekend), and there was a line by the we left. We weren't sure what to get and our server totally helped us out. She was so sweet and took the time to give us suggestions even tho it was busy. Sooo we got the Stuffed Artichoke, Cioppino, and Luis' Special. Omgeeee all were amaaazing! We will definitely be back (we considered going back our next night in PS). My hubs got Cioppino and he said he did have to add salt, but after that he absolutely loved it (and still talking about it). Lol. The Luis Special is amazing and yummy cheesy saucy. Looooooved it!!!! ....and that Stuffed Artichoke...wowzers!!!!!! Go. Get it allllll!!!! We're already planning on our return w our fam.

William L.

Yelp
We had dinner here and it was really good. There is a covered patio in front of the restaurant so we were able to enjoy outdoor dining. They have heaters in case of cold. I had the coconut shrimp and this was the best I have had. There is not a lot breading and it had great flavor. It comes with rice, slaw and a sauce on the side. The owners are terrific and are normally at the restaurant
google avatar

Lily W.

Yelp
Came here with a friend after seeing reviews on yelp. Worked out great because we were at the spa across the street! Came here for dinner and were surprised we were seated immediately. It was a bit chilly for us, so we preferred to sit inside. Our server was very nice but clearly busy since it was peak dinner time we ordered a variety of items, including fresh oysters, oyster, taco, Mexican poke, crab, enchilada, stuffed mushrooms and mudpie. Almost everything was really good. Something about the rice that came with the enchilada was off - tasted a bit like raw flour. I love the relaxed vibe here and love supporting local. Would definitely come back next time I'm in town.
google avatar

Jeremy C.

Yelp
We stopped by as we were looking for somewhere with seafood and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was tasty, especially the seafood pasta--absolutely delicious seafood and sauce! We also enjoyed the bucket of shrimp and the fish tacos--tacos were huge! The outdoor patio is also nice, would recommend sitting out there. While the server was friendly, overall service was pretty slow, not sure if they had a sick call or what, that was all that was lacking. Would definitely visit again!

Yelp
Finally got to try one of my parents' favorite go-to spot! I'd like to share this cute restaurant in downtown Palm Springs. The service is amazing! We tried: - Seafood Kebab - Seared Ahi Tuna - Stuffed Artichoke - Mexican Poke - Oyster Shooters
google avatar

Myia J.

Yelp
Phone eats first almost went OUT THE WINDOW HERE. Good eating at its finest! Rubens special! Might be the best pasta I've ever had and whenever I'm in the area im not leaving without having it! The service was amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable! The ambiance was relaxed but the food was full of flavor! The seafood was cooked to perfection, well seasoned and portions large enough to savor again later. The pasta was full of seafood. This entree lacked nothing! The sang a special birthday song and had the cutest little squeaking chicken. I smiled all the way home. Quite the experience!
google avatar

Tanya I.

Yelp
Best fish tacos ever! We're so happy we finally tried this place after all of these years we were missing out! We also ordered the blackened seared ahi and it was delicious. Great service with friendly and attentive staff. This will now be our go to for fish tacos!
google avatar

Patty L.

Yelp
Some of the food we had here was so good that we came back two days later. The clam chowder, the lamb chop appetizer, the lobster bisque (only on Fridays), and the fried shrimp were outstanding. But sadly, a couple items were a miss: the clams casino (not bad, but lacking in a crunchy breaded topping) and the steak sandwich (overcooked, boring bread). Because of this, I can't give a wholehearted thumbs-up. Moreover, the atmosphere is terrible. The patio lacks charm, the decor looks outdated, and both times they were playing awful '90s rock music. It's a shame because a restaurant with food of this caliber should have an ambience to match.
google avatar

Barbara K.

Yelp
Love this place! Always good service and great food! We stuck with our stuffed artichoke and cioppino which were SO good! I could drink the cioppino broth! They also make one of the best dirty martinis I've had, and have decent wine and beer.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
We were disappointed by the service and food. We asked for the sauce to be on the side of an order of fish tacos and it came On them. Half of our food arrived and the other half did not . My Cajun chicken salad looked and tasted like it sat under the heat lamp for too long. Why my salad was under the heat lamp I have no idea. We have been there many times and won't be back

Yelp
Food is fresh and delicious. Everyone is friendly and respectful. Great vibes from the clients too. Small place but extremely cozy.

Yelp
We came with another couple and we all enjoyed our food. We had the recommended grilled fish taco, grilled shrimp taco & crab enchiladas with a side of broccoli. The enchiladas were packed with crab.

WOW! I am so thrilled to have found this gem! The servers, chef/owners, bus staff- all so friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks are superb! Things I tried: Fish Taco, Crab Enchilada, Linguine Alfredo, Coconut Shrimp, Garlic Bread, Ozzy's Marg. Everything was fantastic! Every. Thing. I will be back. Probably tomorrow. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try.

Yelp
friday afternoon visit for lunch...mostly empty on a beautiful afternoon on december 2024...seated outdoors and menu provided...no lunch specials...mostly a mix of mexican, italian, seafood, sandwiches and appetizers...looking for a light meal and decided on two fish tacos $8 each and a diet coke $3.50 with refills...taking the fried fish for tacos...food and drink arriving shortly...really quiet meal...wedge of lemon provided...fried fish was garnished with some cream sauce and pico de gallo...no other condiments provided...it was really bland...squeezed the lemon and sprinkled some salt to season better...the price didn't help...about $25 after tax and tip for 2 tacos and a soda...

Yelp
My FAVORITE restaurant in Palm Springs! I absolutely love the Ruben Special! I love that they provide Parmesan cheese on the side to add on top. I gobbled it up. It has a ton of different seafood in it that is just delectable. Great customer service! Will be back very soon!

Yelp
Just got back from a trip to Palm springs, and the place is just as delicious as I remembered. We actually went there twice this weekend to indulge! We shared the stuffed crab artichoke, my nephew had the seafood kabob ( he was in heaven. And a ceaser salad w some cocktails one day 1.and got to try some of the fried artichokes so Goood. Worth the splurge of calories for sure! day two we brought the whole family along. Of course paired w cocktails again ( and at closing time- we still were served w a smile And delicious food! Crab enchiladas for to die for. My sister got the fish tacos I believe and the kids got pastas ( chicken Alfredo, ceaser salad and Cajun pastas) there was something for everyone. Lots of locals come which you know is good if they go! I'm already said I'm 8 hours away. Until next time, if you're in the area stop by and say hi and try some delicious food!

Yelp
Quick trip to Palm Springs and we were craving seafood. Found this place on Yelp and so happy we did. It's a pretty small area inside, mostly outdoor seating. With the crazy heat wave we def didn't want to sit outside so the family and I sat at the bar are. Service was great, everyone was so friendly. Food was great also. My fave dish was definitely the fried oyster taco, YUM! Would def go back just for that... I got the Ruben pasta special with the ozzy sauce and it was just ok. Wasn't for me. My son got a free cheesecake for his bday which was great and the chocolate molten cake was delicious

Yelp
We visited here in the heat of summer. Although the outside area was lovely, we chose to sit inside to beat the heat. The dining room was small with an oyster bar feel. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered the calamari (tender and flavor-full with onions and bell peppers), seafood alfredo (a little bland and seafood tasted not so fresh), and cajun shrimp pasta (delicious just a tad spicy). The server was attentive and friendly, however, a bus boy was pacing back and forth in front of our table the whole time which was awkward.

Yelp
The food was unique and delicious. We loved sitting at the bar and watching them cook. The portions were very large. Great low key atmosphere.

Yelp
Just an update on my previous review. The place is doing great post pandemic. I hope everyone who visits or lives in the PS area comes and enjoy the best food in the area. We have been coming to see Ruben and Ozzy for almost 20 years.you really can't go wrong with ordering anything from the menu. I am glad they survived the pandemic and are doing well. The service is always great and there is parking in the back and street parking in the front. The lobster bisque is amazing, but only available on Fridays. Please support local small businesses. I hope you enjoy the food here.

Yelp
I wasn't too impressed with the food here. Felt like your average place for dinner. Nothing really stood out to me here. Service was great and I loved how they have patio dining.
