Paul was awesome, gave insightful recommendations for the wine and the menu was delicious - a modern, but still traditional Austrian kitchen. Especially the starter were fabulous. Also the contact with Cornelia Baumgart was great - she managed to get all our 13 people into a fully packed Saturday. Great job guys!

Excellent food and drink, great wine selection, definitely recommend

I have no idea why they have 4.8 rating. I wasn’t that hungry so I only took a main course. The schnitzel looked big but it’s just the batter and it’s not crispy, the meat was thin as paper and it had no taste while the rest of the food was way tooooooo salty! Maybe having their set menu would be a better choice but I don’t think I’ll come back again. Service was just ok, nothing special.

A truly extraordinary experience from start to finish! Each dish presented a harmonious blend of flavors and textures, showcasing the chef’s mastery and creativity. The ambiance exuded sophistication, making it a perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. The staff’s attentiveness and knowledge added to the refined atmosphere, ensuring every moment was seamless and enjoyable. While I thoroughly enjoyed the evening, I did find the tiramisu a bit strong on the alcohol side, which overpowered the coffee flavor I typically love in this dessert. Additionally, I was a bit disappointed that oat milk wasn’t available for my cappuccino, as only regular cow’s milk was an option. One minor suggestion would be to offer an alternative to Axe chocolate as a refreshment in the WC to match the elegance found elsewhere in the restaurant. Beyond these small notes, I was thoroughly impressed and will absolutely be returning!

A very nice restaurant with interesting Austrian food. The atmosphere is nice even though the location next one of the big streets is not the best. The staff is very kind and friendly. If you are looking for something to eat that you might not have eaten before at least at this standard the Rubens is definitely an option. They serve the best Wiener Schnitzel I have had in my life.

Great Austrian restaurant with decent prices, good prices, an extensive wine list (all Austrian) and attentive staff. We took the seven course journey through the menu.

We booked the restaurant for our group of 30 people. Everything was perfect: food & beverages, service, decoration & atmosphere. We had a great time at Rubens and would gladly come again! Thank you to all the team for making this moment so special :-)

After spending two months in Germany, I can defiantly say the schnitzel here was the best I've ever had. The potato salad was so good, too. Great wine selection.
