Decided to start my morning off today with a bagel from Rubinstein after a coworker had recommended the place (thanks Matt!) and was not disappointed! I ordered the open faced lox on jalapeno cheddar bagel and it was delightful. The bagel was fluffy with not too heavy cream cheese spread. The Lox and Capers were also of high quality and tasted fresh. I also got a cup of drip coffee and it was very aromatic. Finished it off with some complementary ice cold water and I was satisfied. I'd recommend coming here to start your morning and perhaps ask for your bagel to be extra toasty!

I am so excited to have a great bagel place in my neighborhood! I got the bagel with lox and my husband got the bagel breakfast sandwich with chorizo. They were both excellent. We also picked up bagels to take home. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Silver Cloud hotel and they told us there were no espresso places nearby. But this is in walking distance a few feet behind Fred Hutch and open early. The cappacino was great !

Enjoyed a big bagel breakfast sandwich at this cute convenient spot! The staff were extra friendly and helpful. The espresso was great and the bagel was yummy with Lox smear!

Very good bagels. Had an egg bagel and the egg yolk was not cooked and was very runny. Not my thing. But service was good and the place is nice and is in an office building so it seems kind of "sterile".

Ordered a cheddar jalapeño bagel and received an underbaked plain bagel lazily topped with a flimsy slice of cheese and a few jalapeños…..no thanks

We waited over 15 minutes for our order to get taken. It took 45 minutes until we got our 4 bagel sandwiches. They are not able to prioritize walk in customers over their online uber eats orders, and sacrificed all of us standing in the store, for orders of those waiting at home. At least the sandwiches are good.

Yelp
first meal of 2025 - delicious everything bagel, properly toasted, with GREAT vegan cream cheese and lots of it. idk what's up with the other reviews this place is good.

Yelp
3.75 stars. My colleague wanted to try this place out so we took a walk down Eastlake to check it out. Very small cafe. Though it's technically inside of a building so while it's open to public it's small to cater to the business. One person taking orders and making them so service was a little slow. $3.25 for a bagel + $2.25 for schmear so my cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese was $6.07. Bagel was toasted by default. Bagel also had both light and dark raisins which was a little unexpected. Seems a little pricey so don't know when/if will return.

Yelp
We usually go to Rubinstein's SLU on 6th Ave a few blocks from where we live. My husband put in an online order but made a mistake and it was for the new Eastlake location. No big deal, we get in the car, drive over, pick it up and go home to enjoy our order at home, or so I thought I would. Now here is where the "so I thought" part comes in. I open my everything with herb & scallion (my go-to), to find the most ridiculously sad small amount of schemer (see photo)I have ever gotten. I my husband made one mistake in ordering so I double checked our recipe to make sure he didn't mark "lite schemer" and he did not. So, whomever running this location needs to train up your people because I for sure know I did not get my moneys worth.

Yelp
Staff were very nice but bagels were just alright. Small and overpriced but still didn't wow me. Location is great for nearby offices in SLU. The store is spacious and empty. Storefront is at the corner of the new glass building that everyone driving on I5 would surely have said who the heck approved that to be built there (only tall building on Eastlake obstructing the beautiful view of lake union for every passerby). But I digress.
