Phenomenal food at a phenomenal price. The beer battered shrimp tacos had perfectly fried shrimp. Awesome salsa selection. Give Desiree a raise. She's carrying the lunch rush by herself, running from one place to the next. I ain't ever seen someone try so hard and do so well.

The food is great . The food is healthy for the most part and tastes fresh . The place is always clean and the service is good as well. Definitely a better choice than chipo….

Popped in here for no particular reason other than I was looking for something high protein and not particularly fast food. I was very pleasantly surprised by the choices offered and the prices. Sort of small dining area, but there are a few tables outside as well. A salsa bar!!!! I always appreciate that! Very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Rubio's has a menu that covers something for everyone. Tacos, salad and much more. Everything on the menu is very well thought out and the thing I like the best of you eat at one location and go to another the food is just as good. Now I know you have gone to chains that are the same name but the food, quality, service and atmosphere is different at every one, This is not the case here. Excellent food, service, clean store and people are very helpful. *** Taco Tuesday - better than any other deals out there*** $2.50 fish or chicken tacos! Now for the kicker. Fresh salsa medium, chipotle and hot salsa , limes and lemons and Coca cola ! Yay I know it's corny but there is coke, diet, root beer etc.. Thanks Rubio's for doing it right.

Been here many times. The wife and I love it. Salmon burrito is really tasty. She likes the mahi mahi burrito but I dont really.... but WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT ... its Rubios! You want a fish taco.... this is the place. Have not found a better fish taco anywhere else. Enjoy

I've come to this Rubios many times over the years. They're definitely rebuilding their team and services since the pandemic. Overall quality was good, employees were friendly and helpful. Prices have gotten a little steep recently. Overall, good experience. My daughter really liked the lobster burrito and the mango black iced tea.

We love rubio's. There is something for everyone. Grab a bowl for the lighter side or wrap it up in a burrito or have some original tacos. Everything is delicious. The atmosphere is always welcoming and the salsa bar is always full! Enjoy!

Staff here are amazingly patient and kind. I ordered some fish tacos to-go for taco Tuesday craving. The side order of pinto beans and large order of the Mexican corn complimented the tacos really well. There's a few seating spots at the front of the shop where you can relax while you wait. I received my to-go less than 10 minutes later and was on my way. Inside seating looked to be high table, bar stool style. If you prefer outside dining, they also have tables and chairs outside facing Orange St. I didn't partake of the open salsa bar this time but it did look well-stocked and clean. I wish the to-go boxes were better ventilated so that when you eat the tacos at home, they don't get soggy from moisture. All in all, solid place to get your fish taco craving!

Warm welcome by cashier behind the register as soon as we entered the restaurant! My daughter was picking up an online order ! Wait was at least 20 minutes. Was busy tonight for dine in and to go orders .

I have been getting fish tacos here ever since they invented fish. Tonight I'm trying the burrito which is something different. Also tomorrow is taco Tuesday so I don't want to get tacos on a Monday :-) The staff is very kind. They are young, which makes me think they would be on their cell phones all the time, but they are not. They are very professional and happy to be here. I can always count on and finding a good seat. I'd like to teach chairs aren't wobbly and falling apart like another restaurants. Also, they are chairs, they don't squeeze you into a booth you can't fit. The food is great. The menu has expanded so much in the last 10 years. I know they are closing some of these restaurants. I hope this one stick around because it is in a very classy area.

They were doing a 2 for $16 deal. Check the app for good deals like that . With one bowl coming in at around $13 anyway using the deal just made perfect sense. I could have lunch ready for the next day! I decided to order the California bowl with salmon and the chicken taco plate for the next day. Both items were made to my specifications. Noticed that they continue to be skimpy on the rice . Why? Why ? Why ? The service was friendly and fast.In fact someone came out to tell me they were out of the citrus rice I wanted and if I wanted to wait for a fresh batch . Yes indeed . That salmon with the tang of the rice was my reason for coming . The wait wasn't long. There is both inside and outside seating.

Had to update my review as things have improved big time! Service is friendly and welcoming. Inside is very well maintained. Food has improved so much! Everything we have had tastes like it's made with love. All the yummy taco plates we've had have been fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend this location now! They are on top of their game! It's definitely a new lunch spot!

I went to grab a bite before going to the Redlands Bowl. The food is always good but the chips were a little under cooked. The service was good and I loved the music in the store.

Ordered for pickup on a Tuesday. Service was quick and simple. Environment was clean. Original fish tacos were good enough. Burrito was very disappointing. $13(?) for a steak burrito with barely any steak as seen in photos. Just a few tiny pieces. Horrible portion and a waste of money.

I started going to the original Rubio's in San Diego and fell in love with the fish tacos...last Friday my wife and I went to the Redlands and had my usual Pesky combo and it was amazing the staff was great and the restaurant was so nice and upbeat the whole experience took me back...

I always order the same dish every time I go because I like it so much. I order the gourmet shrimp tacos. I usually order two and sometimes I get the plate which includes beans and rice, or just ala carte. It comes with two sauces for the tacos, a red and creamy beige sauce. The employees are friendly and the inside is clean. They also have tables outside to eat.

Hands-down, the best burrito I've had from any Rubio I've ever been to, I had the shrimp and bacon burrito added a few extras. Staff was super patient and extremely helpful with my order.

Today we tried 3 different tacos at Rubio's Coastal Grill. The parking is in the rear of the property and shared by several other businesses. Be patient with the parking, there can be challenging times with the traffic movement. The facility is on the smaller size, so have a backup plan for a dining location at peak times - just in case. You can see from my pic our three tacos. Unfortunately, they basically tasted the same with only some minor differences. For what you see, each hovered, plus or minus, around the $5 price point. The Mahi Mahi taco didn't live up to their description. (It's the taco on the right-hand side of my pic.) The fish was dry, and the sauce lacked the anticipated flavoring and was sparse. The cabbage and corn were nice and crunchy. The chicken and beef tacos were closer in flavor with each other than what was expected. It was good that the beef flavor was prominent in that taco. In the chicken taco, the fresh avocado was the standout feature. It seemed the chicken taco had more sauce and therefore more heat - which was good. In both tacos the lettuce was crisp. In all 3 tacos the soft tortilla shells pretty-much held up. The house hot sauce definitely helped the chicken taco.

Clean, good food. My favorite place in Redlands to eat. Love the gourmet veggie tacos, fish tacos, burritos and bowls. Also love their iced tea/lemonade. Nice people working here too.

We stopped at this location on our way to the desert. Had the best experience with Desiree. She was very friendly, polite and helpful!

I love Rubio's, but this is the worst around. Waited 35 minutes for order to be wrong twice. Food and store was disgusting!. Drove 30 miles to have their food, and this is what I got. And i'm still waiting for the manager to give me a refund. This place is one of the worst places that I have ever been to!

Drank my full cup before opening it to eat the ice and seeing THIS... What is going on????

Fish tacos and chicken especial burrito. Some of my faves. I've always had great service here and they always get my order right when I order online. Salsa bar is fire!

I have not been here in a while, but I remembered liking the food. Well, we gave it another try yesterday and I have mixed feelings to share: SERVICE: The line was not long but it was moving very slow. When I finally reached the front I was greeted by a team lead that forgot their team lead hospitality. No real interest in helping me but I managed to get my order in. I remembered that they used to have a salsa bar where you could choose your type of salsa, but it was empty. I asked if salsa would come with the food....and the "team lead" advised me that I was supposed to tell her that before she finished the order. I apologized for not knowing the rules and she cancelled my total and added my salsa. Yay! Later I also ordered a "to go" entree for my son and she told me it would be 30-40 minutes because it was busy (I assumed online orders because not many of us inside) they were also telling everyone that walked in the door about the 30-40 minute wait...Can't count how many customers they turned away. Wow! FOOD: Here is where my mixed feelings come in...the food was great! Super fresh and tasty. Their shrimp and fish tacos were fabulous!! The salsa (that I got in trouble for) was just as tasty and spicy as I remembered. (Only reason it was not 1 or 2 stars) CLEANLINESS: Could have been cleaner, don't think they wipe tables down after customers clean up after themselves. At least ours was kinda messy. But not horrible. I would say, order online, the food is good. But unless you like being disappointed in the service, avoid going in. I think they'd prefer that anyway. Good luck Yelpers!!

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to mention that Rubio's has some of the best fish tacos that I have tasted. It was super easy to order and the food was ready to pick up right on time. It was a pretty big order as I ordered for our whole team at work. We all liked it so much that we will be ordering again soon! Rubios was convenient and has amazing food! Thank you!!!

The service was great, nice and friendly staff. The food was tasty and portions were good. We ordered the chicken burrito, fish tacos and carne asada nachos. The restaurant was clean and neat.

I have to admit, this review should've came a long time ago. I always forget they're here when craving a seafood burrito. Probably because of their location, it's tucked in a small strip of businesses. First off, a must know. Sign up to receive their promotions and you'll get an instant $5 qr code to scan at register. You'll need it! This place is pricey in my opinion, but delicious. I've only had their classic shrimp burrito and it doesn't disappoint. Ask for verde salsa, it's delicious. To me, they should have a salsa bar. Instead, you have to request the salsa, as well as napkins. Their salsa containers are small. Wait time can be long if they're busy. Parking is plenty and should have no problem finding a parking spot. If you find Rubio's busy, there's other choices for food spots next to it. Environment is clean. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked.

I love rubios and always try to get a California bowl when I'm visiting from out of state. This time they got my order wrong, which wouldn't be a huge issue if it were something other than shrimp. I had ordered a California bowl with salmon and grilled veggies. I took a couple bites and then started mixing it and found multiple pieces of shrimp hidden under the rice. A shellfish allergy and that combo make for a very terrible experience

Rubios fish tacos! We usually go on Taco Tuesday and get fish tacos. The pieces of fish are always huge and crispy! Somtimes we will order a bunch and leave it there for awhile, and the fish is still crispy, not soggy at all. Pro tip, order online and do a pick up order. It tends to get pretty busy on Tuesday evenings so try and order a bit early. One time it was like an hour wait for some fish tacos!

Great fish taco trio, service and ambiance. Everyone in the family liked it. We'll be back

I went to Rubios yesterday Feb. 26th in the afternoon. I love Rubio's but the hospitality was not the best. The guy taking our order was in his early 20s and was not very welcoming. We asked for condiments that other Rubio's provide on hand but they did not have it. When we asked about it the guy was very dismissive and a bit rude. It was really not that difficult to add extra onions when we asked for them. According to him they were running short on things. I went to the Rubios in Murrieta on Thursday and they had everything on hand yet this place could not provide extra onions. Even McDonald's gives you extra if you ask. I've been to this location plenty of times and was always pleased but this time the hospitality was cold and we felt not welcomed. I know these workers are young but they definitely need more training on customer service.

We love the Classic Chicken Taco Plate and the Burrito Especial with chicken. Their cheese quesadilla and churros are delicious as well. Always check for order accuracy before leaving.

Very nice staff. Good vibes. The food looked and tasted great. I'm usually a no-chain except in-n-out when I travel but ended up pulling off the freeway randomly and tried out Rubios. It's been 25 years since I last went but glad I returned. The tall guy with the beard here was super chill and helpful and friendly.

I totally forgot how yummy Rubio's was. I haven't had Rubio's in over 10 years and boy have I missed it. Everything was delicious. I got four tacos the mahi-mahi taco on flower do original fish taco on flour, the shrimp taco on flour and a salmon taco on flour, everything was delicious service was exceptional. The gal in the front was super cool even the baldheaded guy he was a nice guy. My only issue is it's super expensive. I ordered three burritos for tacos actually six tacos for the mechanics at the shop and it was over $140 which I felt like was a little bit pricey but either way good food good quality food is expensive so I don't have a didn't have a problem paying I will be back for sure. I've missed Rubio's.

Plus one star because the food is consistently good-- but good luck getting it! I get that staffing shortages have impacted many sectors, especially food service. As a result, this place is constantly closed without notice! Today, I put in an order on the Rubio's app. The app showed that the restaurant was open (it doesn't allow you to order unless the location is open), so imagine my disappointment when I drove up and saw that it was closed! There were no hours posted at all, so I couldn't judge if I should stick around or not. Then I tried to cancel my order and get my $15 back and was told to call the restaurant directly. It went right to voicemail. For me, this is a sign of bad management-- they don't pay people enough to keep them and they don't communicate their hours with the app. I'm sure I'm not the only one sending orders to this closed location. Plus, I love the jalapeño citrus hot sauce, but either 1) they are out of it or 2) they read "jalapeño" and then give me the pickled ones instead of the sauce I want. That's a minor frustration, but a frustration nonetheless. I hope this place pulls through this rough patch, because the food is great.

I have to admit, I was more than a little surprised by my experience here. My +1 and I were helped by a gentleman who took our orders. I can't recall his name, but I do remember that his name-tag said "manager" on it. At the time I figured that maybe they were short-staffed. Regardless, he was friendly and took our orders, and then brought us our food shortly later. The food was delicious, and portions were at expected and filling. I ordered the Baja plate, and enjoyed the fish taco and shrimp burrito, which I enjoyed trying different salsas with. My favorite was the jalapeno lime from the bottle. My +1 ordered a blacked-salmon burrito and was pleased to find a substantial amount of salmon, particularly compared to the last Rubio's we visited (in OC) which was mostly stuffed with rice and beans. BTW I noticed the same manager who took our order sweeping the floor, cleaning tables, and interacting with the customers and other employees with a pleasant attitude. I wish more managers in general took the initiative to lead from the front like we saw this visit. Bravo!

I used to love going to rubies. But this location there is a lady here not sure is she is the manager but just awful. I realized she treated my husband and I differently than the customer before us. She was very rude. Today my husband picked up food to go and she yelled at him we are really busy and it's going to be a long wait...no one was in there....then when his food was ready she said his name and said whoever that is?? He was the only one in the restaurant! The quality of food has also gone down here. All I know is even if the food wasn't that good the employees should be treating everyone kindly not like they don't want our business.

This isn't tha Rubio's I fell in luv wit in Riverside. I got tha Fish Taco Especial, it wuz ok but, not like it use ta b. It taste like tha fish wuz ova cookd in old oil. I'm gunna destroy this place bcuz I figured that this is tha result of recent events but, it ain't git much luv either.

This place, years ago, had really good food. Now it's subpar at best, and tremendously over priced. It seems every year the amount of food one receives is less and less, but the price is keeps going up. $10 for a burrito? Nope.

I went in to pick up my order and asked for about it as soon as i got there since i had not seen it in the pick up spot and i was told it was being made. About 20 min pass and I'm still without food in my hand. So i ask again since alot of people are going in and ordering and getting there food before me. The employye that had informed me earlier that it was still being made ended up saying that my order was already picked up. Spoke to manager and she was so unprofessional about it all while my family was waiting outside for me it in 90 degree weather walked out with no food. Waste of time and money for my family. Very unprofessional and poor customer service.

On Feb 16, 2020 at approximately 1108, after a hard and intense workout with my strength and condition coach. I wanted some delicious and health food after my work and I was referred here. I ordered the new mango superfood bowl and man... it was amazing.

I ordered the lobster nachos and it no beans and not that much lobster. So I paid $13 for chips cheese and a little bit of guacamole. What a rip off

Upset that these tacos have a huge tortilla but 4 pieces of shrimp and there called "corn shrimp tacos" and there's no corn haha wow and I ordered for pickup so I didn't realize until I was already gone

Tee loved this place! My first thought when I saw Wild caught was this is the place for me! It was our first time! I can't believe that we've never been! We will be going back soon! I absolutely loved the chips and bean dip!

Order online yesterday for pick up. We ordered a total of 17 fish tacos for the family to enjoy and it was not enjoyable. The fish tacos at this location does not compare to other locations. There's so much battered and grease. I requested about 7 sauces and they only gave us only 3. Not a happy experience.

Good service, good Flood, clean eating area !! My girls & I love rubios moving from Orange County to IE made us feel right at home eating at rubios .

Great place to grab lunch! There's something on the menu for everyone. Prices are fair and quality of food is above average. However, the tables are sticky and it's pretty crowded. The restrooms aren't the best and if it's a busy hour you may find yourself sitting less than a foot from the women's restroom. The salsa is always fresh and the people are friendly. Four stars, easy!

Picked up a delicious original taco to eat at home, after a 5 min drive when I got home I couldn't enjoy it because the tortilla fell apart. Tortillas have a bad quality at this place.

Rubios is one of my favorite places to stop when I'm on the road I have grabbed lunch from many of their restaurants from San Bernardino to San Diego. This was my second time I got lunch from this particular location last time my order was incorrect but I can deal with that. On my last visit this week they happen to be the only ones that do not offer the california bowl so I order a burrito in a bowl. The white rice was extremely salty so I decided not to eat it the salmon was awful had a super nasty fishy taste and smell I had my husband try and he agreed. Being on the road and getting on the freeway makes it hard to go back and say anything but that is the only Rubios with bad food I've ever had. I can tell you that's the last time I'll ever get fiid there.

We enjoyed the original fish burrito which my wife & I shared. Desiree who took our order asked if we wanted two plates. A real joy not to have to eat above a napkin. That is customer service. We will return.

Food was good and fresh. Buuuut the portion size was soo inaccurate! I paid over 10$ and it didn't match the potion size I was given for the bowl I bought. It was really skimp. The bowl barely even filled with food for the size they give you. Like there was such a HUGE gap. Smh. It was Very Disappointing.

Waited over 20 minutes for two burritos. The burritos were cold and looked like they were assembled by a five year old. Customer service (greeting and interaction) was robotic and lackluster. Avoid this particular Rubios and visit other local eateries.

I had food delivered on 6/9 and customized to have no avocado on the tacos. What shows up is 3 tacos with extra avocado. Seriously?? It was customized for a reason. Not that it matters why it was customized but I'm allergic to avocado. It was delivered because I didn't have a car, so to be asked if I want to go in for a refund was a little confusing. I was transferred to speak to the rude manager who took down my information of name and order number and said she'd work on refunding the money but to give it 1-3 days when she could get to it. I ordered thru the website. Needless to say, the money wasn't refunded. Serious question, if the food is customized, why aren't they following the instructions?? What's the point in having that feature?? This experience has been extremely frustrating. Not sure if others have had this experience, but beware...if your order is customized, it might not be correct and you'll be out of the money and food.
