Love this place! It’s so bright and welcoming. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Today I ordered a juice and the staff member made a little too much. Instead of tossing it, she gave it to me in an extra cup - loved that! There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Their patio in the back is super cute.

The artwork in here is amazing, and the staff was so cool, and the smoothies are soo good.! I got the java butter smoothie and it’s to DIE for! I also got a blackened chicken Caesar wrap- didn’t realize the chicken wasn’t vegan .. lol so unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy it but I take the blame 100%. I’ve been on an exhausting road trip and wasn’t thinking to ask and instead I assumed everything was vegan here. Not their fault at all!! The vegan options seem scarce in KC so it’s really cool that there’s a place like this that DOES have a lot of vegan options tho! I’ve learned for next time. But whenever I come back to this city, this place will be my first stop!! Thank yall!

Love Ruby Jean’s! The world truly needs more places like this, with an array of healthy food options and delicious juices. Seriously, my wife and I are obsessed with their juices and thankfully we’ve found them also available at Whole Foods and McClain’s. Their space is inviting and calming, with friendly service, a chill lounge area, outdoor seating, and vibrant decor. It was a difficult choice from the looks of all their great options and I went with the sweet potato curry bowl. It tasted so FRESH and I really enjoyed it. Only complaint was it was served scalding hot. Only other complaint is we wish we could buy the juice in larger portions! My wife said she wants a gallon for her birthday.

Ruby Jeans Juicery has been a regular stop for me whenever I'm back in town. I appreciate their commitment to healthy, plant-based options, which keeps me coming back. This time, I ordered the Cherry Bomb smoothie and picked up the vegan chickpea grab-and-go salad. The Cherry Bomb smoothie was a refreshing treat. The blend of flavors was well-balanced, and I loved that it wasn't overly sweet—perfect for a light, energizing boost. However, the vegan chickpea salad fell a bit short of expectations. The dried basil left a lingering aftertaste that didn’t quite work for me. Additionally, the salad could benefit from more attention to texture—the red onions and celery were in larger chunks than I would prefer, which disrupted the overall consistency. The salad also leaned on the dry side, and I think extra vegan mayo would have gone a long way in creating a creamier, more enjoyable dish. Overall, while I’ve had better experiences here, I believe there’s room for improvement, especially in the preparation of the chickpea salad.

However, if your work doesn't involve frequent calls, this shouldn't deter you from enjoying all that Ruby Jean's has to offer. This really is the only area for improvement in an otherwise stellar establishment.

I also grabbed a bottle of Vine Street Greens and Good Vibes Only for later. Levs Blend had all but the pineapple because the fruit had been delivered yet. I was good with more strawberries. Bravo to Ruby Jeans as its four stars for every inch of this business. Color fills the exterior of the building, front, side and back where they've created one of the best outdoor hang outs. Food and service always excellent. Today had an English Muffin breakfast sandwich with vegan sausage, scrambled eggs (you have choices how to be cooked) diced peppers, sautéd onions and cheese for $10.00 Yummy!

I came here while I was at an event and decided to try out one of the smoothies. The one I try was called the big chief, which, if I can remember correctly, had agave, strawberries, bananas, and almond milk. That smoothie was amazing! I want to say I paid $10 for it which is on pricey side. I wanted to try the nachos and a couple other items, but they close down for the day while I was at the event. I do plan on coming back to try some different items, but one thing I will say is aesthetic of the place is absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to really experience Ruby Jeans.

A fantastic health food spot. Great for a pick me up or a light bite! I absolutely love all of the clean and healthy ingredients offered here. Everything we ordered was so tasty and well worth the stop! They are also extremely clean here. You see them make and clean everything. If you have any allergy concerns, this place will take it seriously! The only thing that could've been better was the timing of our food. We got two of our meals and almost finished them before the third person even got her acai bowl.

I had the BEST experience at Ruby Jean's! During my first ever visit to KC, I KNEW I needed to stop at this place that I have followed on Instagram for some years. the space is beautiful and so inviting, with tons of tiny nooks and gathering tables for conversation, autonomous resets or a quick sit down with friends. i picked up their sweet potato salad which was amazing and a couple of their bottled juices, which were delicious and fresh too! I absolutely LOVE Ruby Jeans! I have been buying their juices from Whole Foods or other local markets and I had to pop in and see this place for myself. The interior is decorated so well and it just makes you want to come in and stay a while. I ordered the soul food bowl and was impressed with how fresh everything was! The absolute best part of it my visit was the juice. I mean the juices are to die for! The Goode Vibes Only is hands down the best juice I have ever had. I had to grab 4 out of their fridge. I am BEGGING for them to start putting this in gallon containers, I would be on cloud nine! The staff was friendly and attentive and I can't wait to go back again.

Ruby Jeans has a wonderful atmosphere and great service; however, the food was lacking for the price point. I ordered their protein chicken bowel with quinoa. It was 1/6 chicken and 5/6 quinoa. It also lacked flavor. Still interested in trying their drinks down the road due to the limited healthy food restaurants around KC.

My coworker was craving an acai bowl so I said - I know just the place! We went to Ruby's and immediately loved the energy! The fun, colorful aesthetic and storytelling for Ruby Jean's would make anyones day. We ordered at the counter. Staff was helpful and we didn't feel rushed. The comfortable furniture and energetic atmosphere made it an easy wait. I loved getting to watch the fresh fruit being cut and juiced behind the counter. Our food and juices came out quickly. Next time I'll avoid any juices with beets in it because I personally find beets so incredibly earthy and overpowering - but that's a personal issue and overall everything was totally delicious - and healthy! Food is fuel!

The staff is always nice and knowledgeable and whatever they don't know they will go ask to provide clarity. The inside is really nice and relaxing outside of when they're busy and blending smoothies back to back it can get very loud so when I'm sitting in I typically just have headphones. But on a slower day it's pretty chill and the music is always nice. I I tried a lot of first today and can say I may get smoothies more often since I typically get their juices. "CURRENT"LY (smoothie): was really good and had a good balance of sweet and flavor with what all was in the smoothie. Salmon Benedict Bowl: was really good and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Whatever they cooked the salmon with was a little overpowering and the bread was soggy which I wasn't a fan of maybe I'll ask for it reserved with bread on top. Overall it was a good breakfast meal and fulfilling. Sweet potato brownie bite: was different but good, and it's cold which I wasn't too much of a fan of so I saved some for home and let it sit out it was better room temperature. I will say the texture and flavor is different but it's not bad and I could eat the whole thing, it would have been better in a bite size or ball.

The food, the location, the staff. Zero complaints! Ruby Jeans was a key part of my successful foray into veganism when I was dealing with some health issues and I'll always love them for that. But I had no idea how heartfelt and personally connected the owners were with their inspiration when opening this juicery. It was wonderful to chat with Raven and hear about not just the owner's story, but her's as well. The items that we tried: avocado toast, oatmeal, smoothies, sweet potato brownies, energy balls... everything was delicious. My favorite was the oatmeal, it was incredible!!! So flavorful. I can't wait to come back for more!

I went here once, smoothie wasn't bad, but I just wanted it to taste less healthy. I get that smoothies are supposed to be healthy but sometimes you just want protein powder or something that has sugar in it. The prices are kind of high too, but I get that it is local and important to support the community. They are healthy options in the area, probably wouldn't be my first choice to get a smoothie. If you want something more savory, opt for smoothie king or Robeks

Tons of blackened salmon, some pineapple, slaw and a green goddess dressing. I will add extra pineapples in the future but for real - SO yummy. I also got the açaí bowl, added peanut butter. Perfect blend of all the fruit and of course I felt energetic after eating it. Smoothies, juices, wellness shots, some other food options... a fair amount of seating. Counter service & trendy garage roll up doors make this a place I'd hang out in the future.

Been wanting to try this place for a while! My hubby and I both got smoothies. Mine was pretty flavorful but the consistency was a bit off. Like it's SUPER icy/slushy. So it's more watery than most smoothies I've had. My husband thought his didn't have much flavor and was icy as well. Perhaps we caught it on an off day and we can try again sometime! But for the price idk if we'd justify it. There's a lot of glowing reviews on here for them, so maybe it'll be better next time.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Let me say that I love to support Black owned businesses. This business is so amazing and so special for a multitude of reasons, and one of the most important ones being that this young man, the owner, Chris Goode took a gamble by opening a Juicery and health food store in the inner city. Needless to say, it is flourished and the supported by neighbors as well as people in the city caring about their health, but also supporting the business that is well run. This young man is not just a business owner, but he is also a philanthropist dedicating his time to sitting on boards where the voices of people of color need to be. I 100% support the business, and wish him nothing, but the best moving forward as he is truly making a positive change in Kansas City, Missouri area. Oh, I'm addition the young men working there are super nice and helpful!

I really love this place! I have been visiting Ruby Jean's off and on for a few years now, and I was so happy to hear they had a location on Troost. I drop by this location at least once a week after my morning water aerobics class, and I always go with the Green Dream. (I have gastro issues... so I know EXACTLY what I need, and I like what I like). -- They have multiple food options for breakfast and lunch, juice cleanse packages and more. I think my favorite part about this place is the unmatched aesthetic that includes large windows that bring in an abundant amount of sunlight for all the amazing greenery. We also tried the shots of ginger and even though it burned while it went down, we felt perfectly fine after a minute or two. I have lived in Kansas City my whole live. Ruby Jean's is one of the most undiscovered gems. I had the pleasure of living across the street from this fantastic, healthy and unique establishment. If there was one food that I had to eat for the rest of my life, it would be the keto salmon wraps. I am always amazed by how wonderful my food tastes. They are always on point and they always serve my food with a smile. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish that I could eat this meal all day. The hours are limited and I am restricted to making this a lunch-only spot. Oh, and for those of you driving - there is a parking lot on the side! Something we all can appreciate in Kansas City.

The Kale Yeah smoothie is my favorite - it's so creamy and almost tastes like it has Indian or middle Eastern flavors (prob the cashews is what makes me think that). The cherry bomb one is BOMB too. Not just your average smoothie place - the flavors are unique and fresh. Support local!!

Love it all! I normally get protein smoothies like the Brewed Strength, but all of the food coming out of the kitchen I've tried is great also! Super fun vibe. Great people. Highly recommend!

It was my first time here and the scene is peaceful with plants and good music. The manager swapped out the sweet potato curry with the veggie stir fry and it was fresh and delicious!
