Ruby Rose

Verdict: 👍🏽👍🏽 It is only fair to review an establishment that sells food, after trying their food. The first time I went to Ruby Rose I only had a cappuccino. It was delicious, but I knew I had to go back and try their food. Let’s get right into it. I got in, was seated immediately. Albeit the space at the window counter being slightly cramped, I was only going to order appetizers & I was alone. The place was packed! I ordered the Jamon ‘Duroc’, (think prosciutto crudo with thin flour crostini. The Honing Kip came fried,🤤 a tad on the tough side but fully cooked and delicious. The beef tartar bruschetta was the best thing I had at Ruby Rose! Oh mon monde it was SO good! Last but not least I got the Tiramisu Classico. I loved everything about it except for the crunchy chocolate chunks on top. I appreciate them making it their own, but I just couldn’t get with the added texture. Maybe you could ask them not to add that part. ✨ Overall, I still stand by my recommendation: 10/10 recommend Ruby Rose!

Celebrated my mother's birthday here for lunch! Truly lovely experience, wonderful food and wine, exceptional service and helpful staff. Highly appreciate the special and delicious allergy-free dish that was prepared for us. The bar area is also stunning inside. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again soon!!

Waited half an hour for tiramisu, there was hair in it, and the tiramisu was extremely hard. Even worse was that the tiramisu didn’t even taste like tiramisu - it was missing coffee and tasted only like cocoa powder and sugar. The service offered to make up for this issue was whether I wanted to replace it with another one, as if my appetite wasn’t already ruined by the experience. The other tables got the same dry tiramisu and some people did not bother eating theirs.

A fancy to dine in without fancy pricing. I didn't like the corn chicken as it was explained to me that some mousse was injected into the meat... The result was part of the chicken meat is mushy and meat colour was off ....it looked to me undercooked but waiter told me it wasn't. I didn't eat it. Fish was good.

We were lucky to find a spot on a Saturday afternoon. We had ribs, which were delicious, and the burrata was nice. The calamari were really small, deep-fried, and could have been better. Great selection of food and drinks. The service was really quick, even though it was busy. Most dishes were delicious and some okay, but still worth it. The place was a bit dark to take great pictures, but the atmosphere was lively. Great place to hang and enjoy small bites.

I came in on a rainy Friday night. The hostess never arrived at the stand so I parked myself outside on a wet table. My waiter was attentive but I also suspect got super busy as the night went on as I ended up with someone else. Croquettes were perfectly done and escargot was excellent. Very popular - I’d suggest you maybe make a reservation if possible so they will acknowledge your existence.

Came here for a team brunch and left with a full stomach and a slightly dizzy head (thanks to one dangerously good cocktail — I don't even drink!). The menu leans heavily on seafood, red meat, some mysterious veggie options, and pizza. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share — great idea, because everything was worth trying. The pizza’s solo-sized, not enough for one person. Loved the sparkling water, quick service, and dreamy ambience. ⚠️ Warning for white-meat-only folks: Well... may the chicken gods be with you, because chicken was hiding. Possibly on vacation. This is a red-meat-and-seafood playground. Plan accordingly.
