Best ice cream in RVA! I love the seasonal flavors. Rabia is so creative with her ice cream selections. Her Ube, Strawberry Yum Yum, Hot honey cornbread and mango sorbet are my favorites! It’s almost Halloween so, I’m looking forward to her “spooky” scoops! If you’re in the mood for really good ice cream, do yourself a favor and pop into the shop! She also does New Orleans style snowballs!

This is my absolute favorite ice cream in the entire city. I haven't had a single thing that I don't like. The creativity is unmatched! She won the Ben & Jerry's ice cream competition for a reason! The handmade cones are perfection and the cookies are a wonderful thing to grab for later. I love to see this place in the neighborhood I love and grew up in.

Ruby Scoops has officially stolen my dessert-loving heart! I got the vegan cake batter and it tasted like pure nostalgia in a cup, creamy and perfectly sweet without feeling heavy. My husband ordered the ube cookies & cream and could not stop raving about it. The flavor was rich and velvety, with the ube shining through without overpowering the cookies and cream. The vibe inside is warm and inviting, and you can tell they put so much love into their flavors. The staff felt genuinely excited about ice cream, which made the experience even better. If you are looking for unique, high-quality, and seriously addictive treats with amazing vegan options, this is the place. We will absolutely be back, probably sooner than we should admit.

Ruby Scoops is the best ice cream, genuinely. It's impossible to overstate the case! There are always a variety of interesting flavors and each new flavor tastes like the best possible version you could imagine. The ice cream is creamy, flavorful, but not artificial or sickly sweet. The vegan and allergy-friendly flavors are NOT an afterthought they are equally excellent. It is so fun to see the new flavors every time I go as they are constantly changing. Any variation they do on chocolate ice cream is superb, ube cookies & cream, and hot honey cornbread are all incredible. The location is also so cute. 10/10 recommend, the best ice cream in Richmond.

It was my first time and now I understand why there's always a line outside and around the corner. Loved the vibe, decor, multiple vegan options, and unique ice cream flavors 😋 Ms. Ruby herself greeted every guest seated with her welcoming smile 😃

Exceeded my expectations. Tried the Ube cookies and cream and was beyond impressed, then after that, we decided to try another flavor, pastelito, and were blown away. As someone with cuban heritage, this flavor was nostalgic and hit the nail on the head. Tasted exactly like a cheese pastelito. Best ice cream in Richmond.

We love the rotating vegan options at Ruby Scoops! And it's always clean and welcoming inside. No problems with service either, and you can try samples before you decide! The black sesame Oreo was the BEST flavor so if that's on the menu when you go, trust me. But we've never had a bad flavor. And head out back to the cute outdoor seating area.

If you're in the mood for gourmet ice cream or sorbet then Ruby Scoops is the place for you. They have a variety of affordable ice cream and the flavors change pretty frequently! I've had the pleasure of tasting the famous cornbread infused ice cream as well as the ube flavor! Both are delicious and highly sought after. The owner has created a very inclusive space where all are welcomed. Since they have expanded you can chill out and eat your ice cream indoors before melting in the Virginia heat! Friendly staff serving perfectly paired flavor combos including: Strawberry Red Bean--a favorite combo of smooth and rich berry flavor; an big time new favorite Miso + Butterscotch -- magical combo again of a umami flavor with a salty sweet. Hot Honey Cornbread--really loved the chew composition the cornbread added to the ice cream with just a hit of spicy at the end Grasshopper--the mint got lost in the other flavors unfortunately Passionfruit--overly strong on the flavor but was glad it wasn't too sweet Loved the option of getting a ice cream flight with 6 smaller scoops of ice cream; was perfect size to share with someone. Some of the ice creams were a tad icy but the flavors well made up for that! Will stop here on any trip through Richmond

I love ice cream so of course I enjoyed this place. The customer service was friendly and they had a good variety of options. Curious about some of the names though haha!

When I tell you that I dream of this ice cream Shop, I mean that with my whole heart. I love their ube ice cream so much. They have the best flavors and amazing customer service. We love our volleyball tournaments because we can drive by and get my fav icecream

Stopped by Ruby Scoops in Richmond and I'm so glad I did. I got the lemon berry sorbet and a cake batter cone, and both were seriously delicious. The sorbet was super refreshing and fruity, and the cake batter cone hit all the right sweet spots. The staff was super friendly and patient while I took forever deciding--so many great flavors to choose from! You can tell they care about the experience, not just scooping ice cream. Also love that they have great vegan options--not just the typical boring stuff, but actual fun, flavorful choices. It's awesome to have tasty dairy-free treats that still feel like a treat. Cute spot, chill vibe, and everything tasted super fresh. Definitely coming back!

Omg, cute spot! New space! Friendly staff. My first, definitely not last visit to this cute ice cream shop. Great for a date or family. I had the Ume Cookies and Cream. I'll have this again and again! It's PURPLE with cookies and cream. Smooth and creamy, not too sweet but perfect. Not too many chunks of cookies but just enough. No sugar cones, only homemade waffle or cups. I had a cup. Prices are reasonable for these homemade treats!

This place is so cute!!! Decorated very nicely. Spacious. Open room with lots of tables and chairs. The parking is street parking which can be a little tricky depending on when you go. The staff was super nice and attentive. I went here specifically for the vegan ice cream option and let me tell you!!!! That was the best vegan ice I've had. I think I got cookie butter or something (not sure of the name now) but it was delicious!! I can't wait to go back. I hate I didn't get pics but I will next time.

Thursday 3/21/2024 After finding out about this place on yelp, I was highly interested in their Ube Oreo flavor. The customer service was very good and helpful. The worker was happy to help with explaining the flavors and giving me as many samples as I wanted. Sadly, the flavors rotate weekly so on my visit cookies ube oreo wasn't on the menu but that didn't stop me from experiencing their ice cream. I sampled: vanilla, chocolate, Dulce de leche, hot honey cornbread, troop 43, and bissop sorbet. The flavors were cool & unique but none of them really stood out to me which was disappointing but luckily I was informed about the prepacked freezer where I was able to find a prepacked ube oreo pint $11 and a pre packed cookies n cream pint $11 so I got them. One thing that really confused me was how 2 pints for $22 ended up being $25 after taxes but that's mainly due to the 7.5% meal tax which I wasn't used to at all. - prepacked cookies n cream pint * although it was freezer burn that didn't stop the ice cream from being underwhelming and disappointing. - prepacked Ube Oreo pint * this was my favorite flavor: it was a unique, interesting, and decent ice cream flavor. All in all, the ice cream experience was pretty underwhelming and did not match my expectations.

Strawberry Yum Yum delicious! 9/10, Service was nothing great, 4/10, I wouldn't make a intentional trip but if you're in the area and are craving something traditional but unique, it's worth a try. The neighborhood seems alittle skittish, but just mind your business lol. They let you try up to 3 flavors and they were all pretty good.

I loved Ruby Scoops! The flavors are original and I loved that they offer vegan, gluten free and dairy free options. Oh and sprinkles are free! The staff are so friendly and patient and I loved the paintings on the wall. The customers in front of us got the flight, which looked so fun and a great way to try multiple flavors. We went on a rainy Friday evening and had no trouble finding street parking. Highly recommend!

So happy I came here... once you walk in the vibe is so welcoming. I started out tasting the honey lavender and I was already in love... so I decided to get a flight where you can try 6 flavors at once and boy was it worth it. I got the Atlanta Santa, honey lavender, brown sugar fig, butter pecan, mango sherbert, banana pudding. All were amazing the flavors all had their own unique taste to them. So delicious and refreshing, as well as satisfying. The staff and owner here were so pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend and will definitely be back to try more flavors. Thank you.

We stopped in to get some ice cream and sorbet. Friendly service interesting flavors. The lemon berry ice was delicious and had a nice lemony taste. They're opening a new bigger location a couple blocks away, but their cozy little store is cute and has enough seating to spend some time enjoying the sweets.

5 star ice cream, 3 star experience; Great tasting ice cream with creative flavors available. We tried 7 different flavors and all were very tasty except that the ice cream seemed to melt very fast. We shared a 1 scoop cup and my wife ordered a flight. We ate it in store so it wouldn't melt outside but it was still melting fast. It was tough eating melting ice cream with a small wooden stick. The provided "spoon" is similar to the small wooden stick used when eating a Dixie cup when I was a kid lol. It's a small store with limited seating so eating there may not be possible when busy. The counter and stools along the wall parallel to the ice cream counter tends to be used by customers waiting for their orders. The service was very friendly but a bit slow. A large crowd eventually built up which could have been avoided if both servers were in participating. It seemed that one worker preferred completing busy work instead of assisting with the customers. There's only street parking so depending when you are there it might be difficult.

Ruby Scoops is the baddest ice cream shop in the world! Periodt! I grew up in this community, and it was good to have the opportunity to visit this place finally. When I tell you that my experience was well worth the visit, you must come here for this ice cream! Food: As you see in the photo, I tried and survived the Flight! Six scoops had me having a brain freeze, but I persevered through it. Anyone that can make a "Duke's Mayo" flavored ice cream is a champion of culinary creativity. Not only is Duke's my favorite mayonnaise but to make an ice cream flavor out of it is incredible. In my six-pack, I also had the Butter Brickle, Hot Honey Cornbread, Lemon Berry Sorbet, Cookie Butter Sorbet, and Vanilla. Everything was perfect! Service: The service was excellent. When we entered the shop, there was a line of folks waiting, but it didn't take long before we received our ice cream. The staff was professional, friendly, courteous, and kind. Ambiance: The ambiance was excellent. An amicable and down-home environment. This place has a very happy vibe, but it is a diabetic's worst nightmare. Overall, I recommend this business to everyone seeking good, clean-tasting ice cream. These folks are going to get sick of me.

I've been wanting to try this spot for awhile and have been following them on Instagram for a few months now. Why did I wait so long??? I've been missing out! I love that they offer flights because I'm indecisive and like to sample a lot of menu items when I try a place for the first time. The ice cream flavors I tried, in descending order of favorites, were (1) Old Bay popcorn, (2) hot honey cornbread, (3) ube (purple yam and cookies and cream), (4) guava daiquiri sorbet, (5) passionfruit sorbet, and (6) big spoon coconut (chocolate, coconut, and caramel). Don't get me wrong, they were all excellent and I surprisingly finished them all, but that Old Bay popcorn and the hot honey cornbread were so unique and delicious! They contained the right amount of spice which you wouldn't think would work with ice cream, but trust, it does. I was also easily persuaded into ordering a cookie. I got the Oreo Inception which is basically cookies & cream flavored. I asked when it was baked and was told today, but the texture was hard and the flavor was bland. It didn't taste stale but it didn't seem fresh either. It only cost a dollar so no big deal, but I could've done without it. Also, since ice cream is usually consumed at whatever establishment it's purchased from, it makes sense that folks would want to dine in, so it would be nice if the counter were wiped down more frequently. Considering that my ice cream was melting and dripping down the sides of my flight tray, it's understandable that there may be some spills here and there, but still... There wasn't a lot of seating but I like how quaint and intimate the shop is. I look forward to returning and can't wait to see what new flavors become available!

This was my first visit to the new location. The decor and staff are very welcoming and the ice cream is delicious. There's lots of space in the new location, decent parking, and lots of variety with the treats!

During my most recent visit to Richmond, I finally got the chance to visit Ruby Scoops! Ruby Scoops is a cute ice cream shop with plenty of Instagram-worthy art and backgrounds in the shop, such as a sprinkle wall. Many previous reviews mention that the shop is small, but I don't see it being much different than other ice cream shops I've visited. Most ice cream shops don't have much seating space and this is the case here. Luckily for me, I was able to place my order for two scoops on a waffle cone and enjoy my ice cream at their bar style table at the back. I ended up getting a scoop of the Chai No Latte and Dulce de Leche. The ice cream was good, of course. I think my favorite of the two flavors I tried was the Chai. Next time, I'll be sure to try one of their sample flights where you can try six different flavors. My experience with the staff was good. They greeted me with a smile and assisted me efficiently. Will I return to Ruby Scoops? Of course! Like many local ice cream shops, Ruby Scoops has a few regular flavors. In addition to that, they have a rotation of other new flavors depending on the season or whatever they feel like mixing up. I would love to try some of their other flavors. For those who think the space is too small...Ruby Scoops is preparing to move to a bigger location a little further down the street. Also, they just got a bus so that they can take their ice cream on the road! From following them on social media, they do make appearances at farmers markets and other local festivals, but this bus will allow them to go to other states and events. It's nice to see the growth of a small business such as this. I look forward to continuing to support when I can.

I visited this establishment for the first time today. I drove 2 hours to check it out. The staff were super friendly and patient allowing customers to take samples of flavors and take their time with making selections. I tried a double scoop in a cup. I had the hot honey cornbread. It was interesting, not bad but just different. I also had the Ube cookies n cream flavor. The ice cream is very smooth and temperature appropriate. I would return to try other flavors.

Ruby Scoops was a treat to visit. The interior was bright and every wall I looked at was playful and invoked the spirit of ice cream. The ice cream itself was both flavorful and had a wonderful texture. All too often ice cream can be too hard upon serving or riddled with ice crystals - not so here. Each spoonful kept me coming back for more and before long I had finished everything. And at just $4.50 there wasn't much to complain about. I'm excited to come back in the future and try more flavors. If I could change anything I'd provide a water station inside as, when asked if they had cups of water, we were informed that they did not have any. But even this didn't detract much from what was otherwise a wonderful experience.

Stepped out for ice cream. Small hole in the wall over on the north side has ice cream that packs a punch full of varieties and flavors. From vanilla chocolate ice cream always a jelly donut ice cream even pancake and bacon ice cream this place has everything you didn't know you were missing.

Had heard soo much about Ruby Scoops and finally got the chance to try it! It's a nationally recognized, Black-owned shop with some of the most delicious and unique flavors, and plenty of vegan options as well. We tried 5 flavors and would rank them accordingly: 1) Coffee - the best. Partner doesn't even like coffee and loved this flavor. Very strong and satisfying - we got two scoops of this one. 2) Butterscotch - surprisingly delicious, tasted like the Werther's candies. 3) Strawberry - was really good! Better than many other strawberries I've tried. Technically I think it was strawberry + another flavor but the strawberry taste was strong. 4) Mango - really pure-tasting and yummy but kind of standard, felt like we've tried just as good mango ice creams elsewhere. 5) Lime - strong limey flavor, but we don't love lime so ranking it lowest. A little sour-y sorbet vibes. Overall would def recommend Ruby Scoops!

Not alot of parking. Walked in and was immediately greeted and asked was it out first time,, he explained everything. The place was nice and cozy. After 2 samples I decided on sorbet. The sorbet was awesome.

Thankful to have Ruby Scoops in the North Side! I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the flavor varieties. I was especially impressed during AAPI heritage month and all of the Asian inspired flavors, which were all incredible! Ruby Scoops has unique flavors that other ice cream shops in Richmond just don't have. I love that their flavors are always rotating and are posted on their instagram. I loved watching Rabia kick ass on the Ben and Jerry's ice cream competition and couldn't wait to try all of the competition flavors, again all which were incredible. The ice cream scoopers are always welcoming, friendly, and smiling. The current spot is so cute, excited for their move and for many many more ice cream trips!

The Butter Brickle slaps hard but it melted a little fast. They also need bigger cups for the floats.

I got the fight. It was okay. My friend that i was with loved all of the flavors.... But the picture i took was right when I received the ice cream and it was already kind of melty. The scoops were a little big for the container. It's a very cute idea... but a little messy. I wish it was a little more frozen. I would go back. The vanilla was very delicious....

This one is tough to review for me. The majority of the reviews are fabulous, and I know the owner won food network acclaim though I didn't leave the shop in love, and dreaming of my next visit before I even get to my car. There are other ice cream/gelato spots I do dream of Flavors are creative ( see what we tried below). They offer vegan and nondairy options too! Ice cream was rich and creamy, yet it melted pretty fast, faster than one can eat a flight with a tiny popsicle stick. Which makes me ask.....Why are you serving "premium" ice cream with a tiny popsicle stick? Back to meltiness, I barely took a picture before it started dripping from the egg crate The employee behind the counter taking orders was friendly. I found it interesting they didn't offer tastes. There were 2 people behind the counter, one taking orders and scooping, and the other was restocking the freezer even though there were 7 people in the shop waiting They scooped my husband's cup and then set it behind the counter while they prepared my order......has anyone ever gone to an icecream shop where that's happened vs the employee handing the freshly scooped iccream right to the person waiting? Then they prepared my flight of 6 scoops, scoop first flavor, turn and walk to sink, rinse off scoop, turn, walk back to case, scoop second flavor, and walk to sink, rinse off scoop, turn, walk back to case, scoop third flavor..... I will spare you the pain of reading this for all 6 scoops, though let me tell you it was painful to watch and let me remind you, my husband's scoop is sitting on the counter behind the case melting. As I was paitently watching the scooping process I couldn't help think of the episode of The Bear where Carmy was timing the kitchen set up to ensure speed and top effecieny, Ruby Scoops should rethink the current process. The egg crate is cute, though it's pretty difficult to eat melty icecream with a popsicle stick Shop is small, temperature too warm inside, and felt a little worn out. I went specifically for the hot honey cornbread ice cream and it was delicious! The ice cream seemed to be like a sweet cream flavor with chunks of this delicious golden brown honey cornbread. When that combined flavor hits your taste buds its like heaven and right when you think that's it here comes that spicy kick at the end...like bam! For those who have never been (this is my fourth visit), the staff is awesome. I love how they inquire if it's your first time and the explain the flavors, dairy vs non-dairy etc. and they will sample all the deliciousness . The shop is small, quaint and colorful with some countertop seating and a few additional chairs near the windows.

I love everything about ruby scoops (except the parking situation ) but still gets 5 stars from me. The energy when you walk into the store is always welcoming and staff if so friendly. I appreciate the diversity I've seen when it comes to staff as well. They have a board with all the flavors posted, one row usually shows ice creams made with dairy and the other row nondairy. I am the type of lactose intolerant person who will make exceptions for ice cream but I love that even the nondairy options don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. I usually get the flight which has 6 "mini" scoops you can try. Don't get me wrong I could devour the flight alone but it is perfect to share with a partner or between the kids. Love taking family members here when visiting from out of town. The owner is just as sweet!

Ruby Scoops is an adorable and vibrant ice cream shop nestled in the Brookland Park neighborhood. This shop is not very big, but full of interesting flavors, and a variety of options for dietary needs! They have a good selection of vegan & gluten free ice cream & other treats. They have a rotating menu displayed on small clipboards on the wall, which I thought was a unique touch. There seemed to be quite a price difference between regular ice cream scoops and milkshakes, plus there are additional charges for some add-ons, so it can get a little more expensive than other ice cream shops. I did wind up getting a cake batter milkshake, as I wasn't planning on staying and eating ice cream there. The milkshake had good flavor and consistency. There was only one person working as it was a weekday afternoon, and she was very nice and efficient to get people through the line as quick as she could. There is some bench seating along the front windows and a bar top to sit and eat while you're there. I would definitely recommend trying this place out in the area!

I have a love/hate relationship with Ruby Scoops. Their product is absolutely delicious. Five stars. Their professionalism and quality control are abhorrent. Yes, abhorrent. Business hours are always inconsistent and always changing. Hours are different seasonally. Hours are different based on the day of the week. Even when hours are posted on their social media for the same day, they're unreliable. They literally close if it rains. The last time I went, their social media earlier that day said they were going to be open until 7 p.m. After much struggle trying to find a parking spot, and having to walk several blocks in the rain to try to provide my nephew with a special treat, the OWNER closed the door in my face at 6 p.m. saying they were closed. Zero remorse. Zero explanation. Zero *ucks given. There have also been times when I'd get one thing, and someone else gets the same thing, and we either pay different prices, or get a different container/portion size! What the heck?! I have been a customer since day one. Cheering them on. Spreading the word. I love that this business is in my neighborhood. I love that it is a minority, woman-owned business. I love that it has won prestigious awards and garnered national attention. I know running it is hard. But you don't retain a loyal customer base this way. Unfortunately, I give up on Ruby Scoops. Other local ice cream shops are much more reliable, consistent and just as good.

Visited Ruby Scoops while I was in town visiting family. The ice cream was great! I was able to sample before choosing and they were all delicious!!! I ended up ordering a scoop of the Ube and berry lemon. The flavoring was sooo good. They offer a flight option of 6 scoops. I will definitely try that next time! I knew I was on for a treat- there was a line and it was packed! The line moved fast and people were still coming after us. We got our ice cream to go and sat in the car. We had a parking space right in front of the store. It is street parking and it was a relative busy street.

Talk about fun flavors! I really enjoyed my carrot cake sundae, but loved trying more flavors from the ice cream flight my husband ordered. The hot honey cornbread is SO GOOD! So many fun flavors I doubt you'll find anywhere else. The woman that served our ice cream was great and even checked in with us later to see what our favorite flavors were. I also learned that on Fridays you get a dollar off ice cream flights! So glad I got to try this place!

I can't say enough good things about Ruby Scoops. The staff is delightful, the interior is welcoming and the ice cream Is to die for. This was my first visit so I selected the flight - but this flight was like no other flight. I expected tablespoon-sized scoops but I think they were more like 1/4 cup scoops. I'm embarrassed to admit I ate it all. It was just too good to not eat every drop. Even the dairy- free options were incredible. There was an added bonus of being able to enjoy it in the parklet down the block.

Amazing and always friendly. The ice cream is always fantastic and I love how she creates new flavors for you to try. The Vanilla is top tier. Hands down the best Vanilla I've ever had. The vegan options are great as well.

Ruby Scoops is serving up delicious flavors for Halloween 2023! We got a flight to share and it included several seasonal flavors: candy bowl, candy corn, spookies and cream, pumpkin and the one that made Ruby famous--BLACK JOY. Everything was delicious and the six scoops were just right for two people to share. I see other reviewers have complained about the wooden sticks but I found this to be an eco-friendly option and they didn't bother me. It also reminded me of the way I used to eat ice cream at the pool when I was a little kid :)

Came here on recommendation from a local friend. Had no idea of Ruby Scoops' competition wins, but very well-deserved. This was some of the best, creamiest, freshest, most creative ice cream I've ever had. The flight idea to let you sample 6 different kinds of ice cream (or double/triple/whatever up on your favorites) is awesome, and the purple egg crates they use are cute and sturdy. On my visit, i had a combo of strawberry yum yum, mango sorbet, lemon berry sorbet, watermelon sorbet, satsuma creamsicle, and... something else i forget. Service was welcoming. Interior is very cute and unique. They also have cookies and maybe shakes... Many (or all?) of the ice creams do not use dairy milk but an alternative, which is awesome for the environment and lactose intolerant folks. Sorbets are vegan. The area is hip though low-key. Definitely coming back when revisiting my friend.

Delish. I've been here twice and there's always a line, but it's worth it and so far hasn't been more than 30mins. The sorbets were so good! The blood orange and ginger was my fav of the two. The flavors complemented each other so well and it was delicious. The lemon berry was also good, a very light summer flavor.

I watched Clash of the Cones and was happy Rabia won. She came up with great sounding flavors and seemed like such a nice person, I added the shop to my must try list if I get in the area. I happened to be nearby yesterday so we drove over. Shop is very cute, and the people working friendly and made sure if it was your first time they explained the flavor board and how top is dairy flavors, bottom non dairy. There were many flavors that sounded great and it was hard to choose. Well, luckily you can have an ice cream flight! 6 flavors served in a little purple egg crate looking container! I chose bacon bananas for chocolate, strawberry yum yum which were both on the show, whos the boss, chocolate, dulce de Leche and blackberry mandarin mojito. They were all creamy and delicious. If you are in the area, definitely go. I've eaten a lot of ice cream in my life and this was excellent, totally see why she won. Bonus, Rabia was working, so I fangirled for a minute and told her how happy I was for her. She thanked me and seems really sweet in person too!

Went there for a birthday event. Great space. Great service. Loved the ice cream. A nice feature I have never seen before is a flight of 6 or 9 scoops of ice cream. Great way to the most out of your ice cream experience. Look forward to going back soon

Visited Ruby Scoops for the first time and I enjoyed it! My husband got the strawberry milkshake (7.25) and I got a scoop of the Grasshopper ice cream in a cone (4.25). I thought the cone tasted really good and I loved the ice cream flavor. To me the milkshake was a little pricey, but it was tasty. I'll definitely return! If you're looking to support a black-owned business, add Ruby Scoops to your list! Masks are required so keep that in mind and it's mostly street parking so keep that in mind too! Ruby's grasshopper pie ice cream was also voted the most amazing flavor in Virginia by the Food Network in their July/August issue!

I don't think I can eat ice cream anywhere else ever again...it's that good. I love ice cream - the kind of love that extends lifetimes, and Ruby Scoops is the best ice cream I've ever had. Ruby Scoops has some of the most fun flavors around. I also loved that their were options for people who are vegan/lactose intolerant. It's pretty awesome that their vegan flavors aren't some plain Jane flavors either. My favorite ice cream was the dulce de leche. It was perfect - creamy, but also flavorful. I was a little ice cream jealous because my friends new what was up and got the ice cream flight. I will be back for all of that goodness. We also had great customer service. The staff asked where we heard about Ruby Scoops (it was actually through a post on the general Yelp account), where were from, and what flavors we might be into. They also gave great recommendations. If you haven't been to Ruby Scoops out, run, don't walk, and get an ice cream flight!
