Mowgli Indian Street Food Restaurant Will Open in London for First Time | Eater London

"A pizza operation founded by pizzaioli from Liverpool and Manchester that opened a Soho site on Wardour Street in late July, bringing a regional pizza brand into the capital as part of a broader trend of out-of-town operators expanding into London." - James Hansen

Rudys Pizza Manchester Puts London on the Menu With Soho Restaurant | Eater London

"Opening this year at 80 Wardour Street, this Manchester-born pizzeria started in Ancoats in 2015 and has expanded to six sites across Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham and Sale. It’s known for a short, rigorously Neapolitan menu — a concise set of standards including marinara, margherita and the “ancozzese,” a white pizza with sausage and friarelli named for its birthplace — and is consistently cited as the best of its kind in its home city thanks to strict adherence to the traditions and artistry of Neapolitan pizza. During the pandemic the group introduced a “bake at home” pizza meal kit and later reopened some sites for takeaway; growth was accelerated after investor Mission Mars bought a stake in 2017, though founders Jim Morgan and Kate Wilson resigned directorships and no longer hold shares. Its first London restaurant will join a competitive Neapolitan scene and will replace the departing Wahaca at the site, with backers likely mindful of the pandemic-era closures that affected casual dining chains." - James Hansen

Delicious fresh pizzas! Cosy vibes and great service . The pepperoni with hot honey was tasty as was the tiramisu which had a strong coffee flavour. Service was attentive with food coming out quickly. Special thanks to Carla and Irin who were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our visit very enjoyable! Very popular spot so recommend booking. We came on a Saturday night with no reservation but queue moved quickly. There is seating also in the basement.

I just had the best pizza I have ever had! Rudy’s is spot on from food, taste, atmosphere and service! Our waitress Georgina was fantastic. Welcomed us, made recommendations, helped guide us through the menu and really friendly. Our order was delivered to table in under 10min and was great. Pizza base to topping were great and such a good taste! I can’t wait to go back already! 2 pizzas and 2 drinks in soho on a Friday night for £30 seems like a deal but when it’s for the best pizza experience I’ve ever had - that’s amazing value.

Rudy's Pizzeria in Soho is a clear success story, a chain that has expanded incredibly quickly but seems to have perfected the recipe for both dining quality and delivery consistency across its branches. Stepping into the Soho branch is an experience itself; despite its growth, the atmosphere is buzzing and authentic, housed in an impressively massive space that handles the central London crowds with ease. The main event is, of course, the Neapolitan pizza. The pies here are textbook examples of the style—soft, slightly charred, and beautifully blistered crusts surrounding simple, high-quality toppings. Rudy's manages to keep this authenticity while also remaining fairly priced, a rare feat for a restaurant of this calibre in this part of town. Adding to the appeal is the super fast service, ensuring minimal wait times whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or settling in for an evening meal. But don't stop at the pizza. The tiramisu is a perfect, non-negotiable end to the meal. It's wonderfully light, avoiding the heavy, syrupy sweetness often found elsewhere. It provides a clean, elegant finish that perfectly complements the rich flavors of the preceding courses. Rudy's successfully delivers a high-quality, efficient, and authentic Italian experience.

Nice ambience. Crowded during dinner. Seating is not that spacious. Walk-in allowed but may take upto 30 minutes to get a table. Pizza is fresh and baked in wood fire. Standard pizza size, no small option available. Beer is fresh and tasty. Minimal vegetarian options. Prices are decent. Service is good.

What a delight to find this gem in the middle of Soho, Rudy’s delivers exactly as advertised in a beautiful industrial room. The portion is not cheap, see the size in pictures, satisfying for 2 persons. We also added a side of salad with Parmesan that was delicious. Drinks are well made with quality alcohol. Service was friendly and efficient, I tried to talk to the pizzaiolo at the end to tell him how much I enjoyed the pizza but he completely brushed me off. Weird but OK, you’re stressed out. Highly recommended for a solid Neapolitan pizza in the middle of London. P.S.: if this review was helpful, please leave a quick 👍, thank you 🙏

The mark of a great restaurant is the quality of food at its busiest. This is where Rudy’s fall short. Busy Saturday night, got a table after a 30 minute wait. Pizza was dry dry dry. I ate the middle. Did we tell the wait staff? yes we did. Was there any attempt to make it right? No. Are we going back? Never. Save your money and head to Fatto a Mano’s - consistently great pizzas every time

Me and my brother wanted to indulge in savoring Italian cuisine and we happened to dine at this popular pizza chain. We had reserved a table prior a day or two. The ambience and environment of the restaurant was very appealing and aesthetic. Credits to our waitress, Ilaria, who was very kind and passionate about hosting us as customers. We ordered 2 of their sides, 3 of their pizzas & a dessert. Burrata salad and small campana being their sides. These were not the best but just alright. However, their pizzas are the sort of dishes which make us customers return to relish it again. We ordered their romagnola, carni and calabrese (with salame). The romagnola was a chef's kiss and set itself apart. I wasn't surprised it is one of their best sellers. The carni was good, but the calabrese was better as it had a bit more kick of spice, whilst not overpowering the flavour of the pizza. The Neapolitan crust was light and floppy. The crust was pretty soft and good as well. We had ordered the Panna cottage cheesecake for dessert and honestly speaking, we've had better ones, Overall, their pizzas were the showstoppers. It is worth a visit when you crave authentic Italian cuisine.

I had an unforgettable experience at Rudy’s! I stopped by while dealing with a serious allergic reaction that left my throat burning, just hoping to find some tea. Monika and Irin went above and beyond with their warm welcome, exceptional service, and genuine care. Their kindness truly overwhelmed me — they offered me tea on the house and showed such thoughtful, ethical and precise hospitality. It’s a real testament to how responsibly Rudy’s handles allergens and unexpected medical situations. On top of that, the food was amazing, the service was the best I've had in Soho, and the venue is fantastic. Thank you, Rudy’s, for turning a stressful moment into a comforting and memorable experience!
