The place its always amazing! You can choose different amount of courses to pair with wines. We always have a wonderful time, specially during Christmas that the decorations make the place feel warm and familiar! The food is always delicate, combining taste and decoration! The servers take their time explaining the dishes and the wine that goes with it. And because they ask for allergies in advance they will adapt any dish needed!

I spent a memorable Easter evening at Rue de la Plume, and it truly stands out for its elegance and creativity. Every course was both delicious and intriguing, with refined flavors and beautifully crafted presentations. The dessert was especially outstanding — a perfect sweet finale to an exceptional culinary experience. Highly recommended!

The food was great. We chose the 4 course dinner which was plenty. Although the cheese platter we skipped looked and smelled great. Every dish was made with care and presented beautifully. Good service, with some jokes and banter. Luckily not as stiff as some other places with a Michelin star(current or not). We had a great time and will be coming back. Walkable distance from the parking garage across the water.

Hard to explain this place, everything just feels right, tables not cramed in, not noisy, no rush, staff there but not. We had 6 dishes, all small but flavors out of this world. Must try at least once.

We had the 4 course surprise menu and it was absolutely delicious. Fish, pheasant and veal were served. Every detail, down to the food décor, was superb, showcasing great attention to presentation. However, the atmosphere could use some refinement to elevate the overall experience.

Very nice and small place, friendly staff, excellent food and wine. What more can you want? They work with a Chef Menu, that you can order in 2-5 courses. We took the 4 course variant and were not disappointed, every dish looked and tasted great. Highly recommended for Alkmaar.
