One of the best restaurant of Galway for sure. The dishes are super good and well presented. The restaurant was nearly full when we arrived and I can understand why. Some places inside and some tables outside too to enjoy the sun. Better book your place to be sure to have one. A real cheesecake for dessert was nice too.

Fantastic dining experience, great drinks, great service, and great food. I had the short rib starter which was lovely, and the Ribeye for 2 was delicious as well - others in my party had the Halibut and Duck and loved those as well. Highly recommend and will try to come back on my next trip to Galway!

Spectacular meals, drinks, and service… so good we came for lunch and returned again for dinner. The sea bass (lunch), pork belly, and fried chicken in particular were excellent but I recommend tasting as much of the menu as you can. Dennis & team made Galway feel like home for the weekend. Their passion for service and cuisine was impossible to ignore. I’d come back to Ireland just for one more meal here. Couldn’t recommend more highly. 10 / 10

Google
the best culinary experience in Ireland we decided to go here instead of the one star michelin restaurant in Galway and we were so happy with our decision the food was truly amazing and the host was the kindest and most attentive! I reccomend it to anyone who wishes to have a memorable experience in Galway

Great location, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. The food was easily one of the best I had in my 7 day trip to Ireland. We had the seabass and the chicken dishes, plus the roasted potatoes and everything was 5⭐️

Yelp
Ruibin was recommended by a number of the locals. We thought that we would give it a try! We were seated at an intimate table in the bar area. We enjoyed a number of the delicious tapas. Loved the oysters that were prepared with horseradish and mince apples- what a wonderful combination. Service was perfect. Dennis was the best- we came to learn that he has created all of the fantastic liquers that were served.-We were fortunate to enjoy the limoncello, rhubarb liquour and the salted caramel. Each one was better than the one before. It was a memorable celebration of our third wedding anniversary. Truly the best dining experience that we had on our visit in Ireland was at Ruibin. Thank you Dennis!

Yelp
Went here for our first night on a girls trip in galway and it didn't disappoint. a few of us got drinks and they were all so tasty that we went back for a second round. most of us are either vegetarian or vegan, and while these options are limited, they did quite well with what they did offer. the mushroom and tofu dumplings were pretty tasty and being someone who doesn't love mushrooms, i was impressed with the taste. my friend got the baked onions dish and was quite happy with the flavor, as well as the celery dish. we were quite content with the flavors of everything they brought us- very creative and well done. the ambiance is arguably the best thing about the place- it's right on the water and we caught a nice sunset as we were eating. super cozy and nice. our waitress was friendly and sweet, definitely no complaints with the service! overall, it's a pretty expensive place but i think worth the price.

Yelp
We were walking around the Spanish Arch and decided to try Ruibin for lunch. Somehow we had the impression it was a typical pub with pub grub. We were so wrong and I'm glad we gave it a try. We were taken to the second floor to be seated and given a lovely window seat looking out toward the marina. This is a locals place and there were several business people there entertaining clients. The menu is unique and our meals were delicious. My husband enjoyed the seafood chowder and I tried the monkfish curry. Both dishes were spectacular. They have a very nice wine list and service was very good.

Yelp
Amazing all around! We visited end of June for lunch as walk-in guests, but are still thinking about this place. We started with top-notch oysters. The monkfish curry was phenomenal, as was my husband's chowder. The staff was attentive and warm. We were seated upstairs, and enjoyed the rustic yet elegant atmosphere. We felt both at home and spoiled at the same time. Thank you for an incredible meal!

Yelp
I really loved the Rubin! I especially loved the ambience Ambience: a really upscale environment that strikes the perfect balance with coziness! I really loved the whole vibe Food: I loved the food, the ricotta gnudi was amazing! It seriously was one of my favorite meals in Galway Service: really attentive and great service Price: reasonably priced for quality and service

Yelp
Best fried chicken and chowder in Galway! Amazing cocktails and super friendly, welcoming service. We had the opportunity to eat outside on a sunny day, perfect!

Yelp
Dining upstairs requires reservations. This place was HIgHLY recommended by several local area individuals (bus drivers, taxi men, local whiskey tour guide). My husband was super stoked for the pork chop plate, unfortunately it was overcooked, tough and a bit dry although great presentation. Travel mate & I had the monkfish plate which was superb. Mine was dairy-free cashew cream sauce, hers was regular. Fine wine to top off our meal. Also had a starter of the Ceviche (sea bass) with a hint of spice, this is a must try because it was very delicious. Upstairs dining is cozy and not too loud. Great ambiance. Our waitperson was exceptional, we were well taken care of.

Yelp
Absolute class! Cocktails, Food, Service, and atmosphere were all 10/10s. Make sure to try every cocktail on the menu and the infusions that are out on display. Dennis running the bar is the f-ing man... If we make it back to Galway we will planning our trip around coming back to Rúibín. Wow just wow.

Yelp
From start to finish, this was the best meal I've had in Ireland. It's an elevated eating experience that showcases a wide range of influences and flavors. We noticed many locals eating here, as well. It is a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. Reservations are usually required.

Yelp
Food is amazing! Service top notch! Last minute walk in turned out to be the best so far! You don't want to miss this!!! L

Yelp
We stumbled across this restaurant last night. It was exceptional. How is this place not Michelin star rated? The service, ambience, and the food were outstanding. We started with a lamb skewer, marinated olives, hummus platter and ceviche. The restaurant provides bread that is drizzled with olive oil. We kept asking for more. For the main we got halibut, ribeye for 2 ($78) and a pasta dish. Each meal was one better than the other. Portions are a good size, and prices are very reasonable. If you're on the area I would make reservations to go! Plus it's right across from the harbor.

Yelp
This was hands down the best restaurant we experienced in Galway. This was conveniently located next our AirBnb and we walked by it several times to the explore Quay Street. We first stopped just to have drinks but the drinks and in-house made concoctions and tinctures were so impressive we stayed for dinner and had more cocktails. Our party of four turned in five and we almost had everything on the menu. Our server was an American from Colorado and loved Ireland she stayed. I don't blame her. My friends enjoyed this restaurant so much, it was the last spot they visited before we headed out back to Dublin the next day. Review #74 of 100 in 2023.

Yelp
A delicious surprise by the busy commercial port. Friendly staff and sophisticated, high-end food in cozy surroundings. Be sure to book!

Yelp
Great lunch. Wonderful selection of organic / biodynamic wines paired with good food. Nice staff.

Yelp
Food is great. A fare that was different and off the beaten path. Would definitely recommend it to travelers that wanted a little different.
