Our group of 10 people stayed in 2 condo units. Both were very nice and had everything we needed. The on site restaurant Blue Flame had fantastic food and great service. Pool was wonderful and even though the beach directly in front of the resort was rocky, you only had to walk about 2 minutes to the sandy swimming beach in front of the Rum Point Beach Club. The food and service at the Solis restaurant was also very good. They were able to seat our group of 10 without a reservation one very busy night. All of our group really enjoyed our stay.

rum point resort exceeded our expectations for our vacation. Arrival and check in was fast and easy. The condo was beautiful and the resort was so clean. We had everything we needed and we were shocked to see such great kitchen amenities. Great silverware and appliances. Rum point club is a couple minute walk from the resort. They have a great beach, restaurant (amazing drinks and food). We would stay here again. The condo was so spacious and had plenty of room for all of us. Thanks for the great stay!!

Just stayed here last month and loved it! The units are modern and clean with a beautiful beach, pool and next door to Rum Point. Full service restaurant and daily maid service makes the stay perfect! The whole family can’t wait to come back, this side of the island is the only place to stay in Grand Cayman.

Modern building in a really beautiful location. I'd highly recommend Rum Point Resort if you're looking to enjoy a quieter part of Grand Cayman. The resort is north facing, so the pool is usually shaded. Beach entry into the water in front of the hotel is mostly rocky, but that's a good thing for snorkeling, as you don't need to go far to find fish. A short walk around the point brings you to a sandy beach with a west view of the sunset. Photo attached. Kaibo and Starfish Point are a 25 minute walk or an easy bike ride away. The resort has loaner bikes that we took advantage of. We didn't have a car with us, and there is no grocery store or even convenience store in the neighborhood. If you intend to use the kitchen in your unit, stop by Chisholm's Grocery on your drive in from the airport. Kyle and Ashley at the front desk were both friendly and helpful during our stay.

Fabulous. For the last several visits we commonly stayed at East end locations. On a whim, we decided to choose rum point for a “decades” family trip. The location is quiet and well-appointed. Service is excellent. Units are contemporary and within a few steps of the water. In this instance, “you get what you pay for”.

Our stay at Rum Point Club Resort was exceptional. The suite was modern, clean and the views of the beach and ocean were breathtaking. The staff were very pleasant and quickly attended to our needs. Our boys had a wonderful time swimming in their nicely heated pool. Overall, well pleased with the facility and our room.

This was one of the most beautiful and well put together units our family has stayed in. The resort has amazing views, and an exceptional design. The pool was small, but very cool. It’s open 24 hours, so great for lap swimming in the early morning. The beach is not the soft seven-mile beach sand; but it is a great beach, it’s clean, and it was fun (water shoes recommended). Right next door is also Rum Point Club which gives you a more sandy beach and more of a “touristy” feel. You can walk over to it in less than 2 minutes. Having a full kitchen helped with grocery shopping for the week. Loved the unit and felt at home through the say. There are a few things to take into consideration before booking. 1. The resort is roughly 50 minutes away from the seven-mile beach area. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place for you. But if you are looking for shops, dinning, activities, and to explore this is not the place. 2. The are limited dining options in the area. The hotel had one chef (who was great and full of energy), but not much to choose from. The other options close by are pretty expensive for daily choices while on vacation. 3. You will need a car; there is almost nothing within walking distance to this hotel. Overall, the staff was friendly, the hotel provided snorkel equipment, management was professional, and I can’t convey enough just how beautiful the units are. Definitely a 5 star hotel in a more secluded location. If this is your first time to grand cayman (I would not recommend this hotel as your first experience). If you need to get away from the world in a beautiful and safe environment, this is the one for you. If you are on a couples retreat and want to turn your phone off and relax, this is also definitely the place for you. If you have young kids who just want to have fun, I’d recommend the seven-mile beach area.

This was the perfect getaway. We have two young kids and this could not have been better for our family. We enjoyed the pool, exploring for seashells. The condos were great for our family and the kids. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is a drive around the island but worth it. It didn't have as many tourists and felt a bit more like a getaway. At night we walked over to the Rum Point Club for meals that we didn't want to cook in our condo. This honestly felt like the best kept secret in Cayman Islands.
