It is one of best fish restaurant awarded by Michelin for 2023, 2024 and 2025. Very kind owner sitting in restaurant, caring food and service quality all day long. Top quality of appetizers highly recommended. Top quality of fish highly recommended. Plus, best Bosphorus view in the city.

We ordered Blue Fish and Sea Bass Fish dishes. Also, we ordered One Salad and Two Bottles of Water. Simple as that. Location is amazing. Staff is helpful and friendly. Prices are too high for those two dishes. Meaningfully, the price has to be something near 1200TL. However, we paid more than 2700TL. Also, the waiter said that we have to leave at 5:00pm because there is a reservation at this time, and we have to stay almost one hour and half an hour only. Finally, for me, it deserves a try when the prices are a bit meaningful.

This place has been a favourite the five years we have been living in Istanbul from 2001 to 2006. We are always coming back when travelling there again and it never disappoints! Super fresh delicious food. The classics that never disappoint. Very attentive and friendly staff. It has an old world vibe to me that I love. The food can hardly be topped but I think the view of the Bosporus comes close as you are sitting directly over it.

Fish was delightful! Sea bass in the grill but the fried calamari and the cheese sticks were normal. Views are Amazing!

One of best views in Istanbul for sure right on the waterfront. Great attentive, welcoming service 👍🏻 Unfortunately the food was a huge disappointment. Started with green salad that had no soul, just some chopped greens no dressing or anything interesting. The calamari was soggy and tough. The mussels where OK but nothing unique or special. The biggest issue I had was with that amazing fresh turbot fish ruined by bad cooking and carving. No salt whatsoever and cutting it like steaks is definitely not the way to serve it.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I'd like to share my experience. We started with the octopus salad, and while it was decent, I must admit that it’s not exceptional. Next, we ordered the seabass and seabream, and I have to say, they didn't leave a lasting impression. The portions were rather small, accompanied by only a single tiny piece of potato and a minimal amount of greens. It left me wishing for more. One thing I noticed during our meal was that the waitstaff seemed to pay more attention to tables that ordered alcoholic drinks. When we requested tea, it seemed like we weren't a top priority, possibly because tea is complimentary. It would be great if they could ensure consistent attention to all diners, regardless of their beverage choices. Overall, the experience was okay, but I was hoping for a bit more from the food and service.

It was a cozy coner and beautiful coast with suspension bridge. We had a great time by warm serving of waiter on lot of local cooking. Fishes, drinks. vegetables, grains. . Most of food were delicious and palatable for us. Beautiful landscape and delicious food were made us happy memories. I want to give this place to my friends as the place he must go.

I'd like to thank this restaurant for turning down our request for a couple of beers and calamari, which led to a much better experience. We ended up buying beers from a nearby shop and enjoyed them on benches by the sea, right next to the restaurant. When we asked what the minimum order requirement was, they vaguely replied with "full service," whatever that means. While they may have good reviews, policies like this are bound to drive away many potential customers. Bu restorana iki kişiye bira ve kalamar servis etmeyi reddettikleri için teşekkür etmek isterim. Bu sayede çok daha güzel bir deneyim yaşadık. Yakındaki bir Tekel'den bira alıp, restoranın hemen yanındaki deniz kenarındaki banklarda keyifle içtik. Minimum sipariş miktarını sorduğumuzda, belirsiz bir şekilde "tam servis" dediler, ne demekse. İyi yorumlara sahip olabilirler, ancak bu tür bir politika ile birçok iyi müşteriyi kaybederler.

Rumelihisari Iskele Restaurant is one of the best sea food restaurants in Istanbul with a great location. It is literally placed on the sea and thus it has the perfect view of the Bosphorus and both of the bridges. If you are looking for a restaurant to go on a date, you should go here and get a table right next to the sea! Besides the perfect view and atmosphere, they also have great food. I have tried their marinated sea bass, butter shrimp, fried calamari and roasted pepper as mezes. The sea bass was delicious but the butter shrimp was so for the best! It was AMAZING! Huge tip: Dip your bread into the sauce of the shrimp! The taste will take you to heaven! As a main course, I had the grilled flounder fish. It was cooked perfectly, the meat was soft and juicy. I loved it! Even though it is slightly expensive, Rumelihisari Iskele is one of the best sea food restaurants. Try it and you won't regret!

I thoroughly enjoyed a very rainy and cold evening at Iskele with friends. Despite the weather, the view, company and atmosphere were supurb, as was the service. My carrot soup starter was perfect for the weather, well seasoned and with abundant carrot flavor. Loved it. Took a quick bit of another's calimari and kind of, sort of wished that I had ordered some for myself - it was very good. Opted for lamb chops over fish - guess I was just fished out after 2 prior nights of it. Perfectly prepared and seasoned. I'll be back when the weather is warmer to dine outside on the water of the Bosphorus!

Very high priced and chic restaurant on the shores of Bosforus. I was there with some colleagues who paid for the whole dinner but I believe that the service and food (and thus prices) are really high for local standards. This was visible also from the guests and the way they were dressed. There is wide choice from the menu or the dishes of the day according to the fish available. They will be taken to your table and shown by the waiter who will take also your order. We had some starters (remember to respect the turkish tradition by drinking some Raki at the start of the meal!) and as a main course a huge fish each. Useless to say that everything was amazing, both in flavour and service. Recommended for business or if you want to really impress your partner.

This is a great fish restaurant with great view and great service. We order local while wine. It was fantastic. Having dinner next to the water with a bridge view. It is very similar view with some of the restaurant in San Francisco, where I come from. The service is outstanding. 7 of us don't event need to worry about ordering food. The server carry food and put on our plate so we can just chat and have a good time.

Located next to the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge (see here for accurate map location: https://plus.google.com/117597508029587065824/about), far away from the hectic city center of Istanbul, this seaside restaurant offers a very relaxing atmosphere where you can sit and calmly watch the ferry traffic on the Bosporus while indulging what must be some of the best sea food Istanbul has to offer - their calamares is supposedly die for. With a great selection of meze, I as a vegetarian can also enjoy myself without envying my pescetarian loved ones. Although located far away, getting here is a piece of cake: hop on the tram and get off at Kabataş (end station), then switch to the local buses and get off at the stop with the same name as the medieval ruins located nearby - Rumeli Hisarı - and you'll be right by the restaurant's doorstep. PS. Make sure you're not fooled by some online map services - this restaurant is located some 200 m south of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, by the water

Great location at the waterfront of Bosphorus. Nice view. Very good fish-food cuisine. Nice, friendly and professional service personnel. Good-working reservation system. Efficient administration. But, still too expensive. Bogazda deniz üzerinde fevkalade lokasyon. Güzel manzara. Çok iyi deniz mahsulleri mutfağı. Düzgun, güleryüzlü ve profesyonel servis personeli. Delicious food. Lovely, open air, relatively formal, seafood restaurant with white table linen in a posh side of town. Sit on the side of the restaurant with retractable windows and inhale the salty sea water. Expect to spot a famous person while dining. Savor the precious Bosphorus sites of seagulls, beautiful homes, cruise lines, yachts and oil tankers while dining on deliciously fresh and immaculately plated seafood. The octopus was delicious as were the sweets - try the sweet cabbage with the milk-base cheese. This dish resembles orange sweet potatoes. It is very tasty and it doesn't taste anything like cabbage. Enjoy!

A pricy place with good service. This is the ONLY restaurant with great service, but the food is overpriced (the price is as fine dining in some European countries). The appetizer (octopus salad and fried calamari) are good, but the main dish (I had stewed sea bass) is okay, but the desert (chocolate soufflé) stands out. Generally, compared with restaurants with same price in other country, I only have three stars, service four stars. However, It would be a good place for business meeting.

I had a business dinner here so I can't comment on the value of the restaurant as I didn't see the bill. My menu didn't even have the prices although I know that some of my colleagues' menus did. The dinner was lovely - excellent seafood. The service was exceptional. The waiter was charming, funny and eager to give suggestions for the freshest options and quick to steer you away from the not so fresh ones. The restaurant is sea front and has a heated terrace - even on a chilly night the outdoor space was actually warmer than it was inside. One thing to keep in mind is the Istanbul traffic. This restaurant is not in the main tourist destinations and can take up to an hour, maybe even more, during prime times. The mezzes were good - the waiter will bring out a tray of samples that you can point and choose from. Really simplifies the selection process if you don't know the names of certain dishes. Everything was excellent except for the taramasalada like dish - it was very strong, heavy on the fish eggs. There is a nice bread selection at the beginning and a variety of seafood options that you can request to be grilled, fried or with advanced notice baked in salt. If you don't like seafood, don't bother coming here. I don't think they had any other options. If you are a seafood fan, this was definitely worth the exciting cab ride over.

When I asked what is one of the best fish restaurants in town, friends of mine that live in Istanbul recommended Iskele Restaurant. Boy they were right! The food was absolutely fantastic. The seafood appetizers, especially the calamari and the octopus was to die for. The location right on the Bosphorus was also dreamy. The restaurant sits right on the water with a perfect view of the Asian side, the ships, the bridge, the little boats etc. I don't think the ambiance can compare to anywhere else in the world. Istanbul is much like San Francisco, that is true, but the Bosphorus is so much nicer than the SF Bay. The service was also amazing. I dealt with Bulent who oversaw everything. I highly recommend it!!!

Nice location for the restaurant with the large outside area on the water. Food was also tasty especially the grilled fish.

Elegant restaurant with great service. Great quality food. Specialize in fish. The maitre D spoke very good English and made great recommendations fitting to our taste and hunger.
