I'm revising this review out of fairness since having originally left a negative review for what appeared to be a lost package. Being frustrated with a seemingly lost package that appeared to have never been shipped, this morning I awoke to a notification that a package from USPS from Rumpl was out for delivery. It appears this item did ship, and although it took longer than anticipated to arrive the fault was simply with USPS for not scanning the package upon pickup. I have changed this to be a positive review and give my sincere apologies to Rumple for not being more patient. They (Rumple) have issued a refund for this which ironically processed today, the day the items arrived so I'll have to figure out how to "re-buy" these items. Now that the items have arrived we are happy with the quality and they certainly live up to the many positive reviews seen on "best of" lists.

The employees are the nicest people. I could not ask for a more better shopping experience at this past weekend's garage sale. Employee were helpful, answered questions with patience, and even checked the back for me several times for travel rumpls. I got all my first rumpls this weekend and I couldn't be happier. Ironically, while I really love the functionality of their core products, I'm finding the wool blankets are my new favorite thing!

THIS IS NOT A RETAIL STORE. REPEAT: THIS IS NOT A RETAIL STORE. This is Rumpl headquarters, NOT a storefront. We came all the way to visit because we didn't know. Very nice employee explained this to us after we knocked on the locked door.

The customer service I received was extremely poor, very cheap and nasty and the quality of the blanket stitches is subpar in multiple areas. According to the policy a full refund may not be possible, even if the item has a new tag attached. I spent over $100 on this junk, and I am extremely disappointed with its quality. It does not meet my expectations, and I feel like it is of very poor quality. So, instead of buying it, I would recommend going to the Salvation Army for better options and save money.

UPDATE: RUMPL RESPONSE IS PURE FICTION FROM THE MARKETING TEAM. THEY REFUSED TO ISSUE A REFUND AFTER I SPENT MORE THAN 20 HOURS CONTACTING THEM!!! Rumpl is an overpriced half a sleeping bag with the world's worst customer service. DO NOT BUY!!!! I immediately noticed the wrong shipping address and contacted them 15 mins after my order to correct the address as they were shipping to the wrong state! After I messaged them 3 times, they responded to blame me for their technical issues and make excuses as to why they are so poorly staffed. When I told them to cancel the blanket as they clearly are disorganized, they ignored my message for 9 days even though Lee promised to contact the warehouse and get back to me on day 2. Since Rumpl hasn’t done the right thing and issued a refund for the lost package, I’ve been forced to create a credit card dispute. Their documentation clearly shows a lack of respect for their customers as you can see their internal communication. Lee marks all customer complaints as spam and deletes them instead of following up. The ironic part is that Jacob (a self proclaimed manager) actually tells her that her response was appropriate. It’s clear that their “Customer Experience Manager” is very juvenile since he thinks that never assisting a customer in 2 weeks is considered an appropriate response. Bottom line: go buy from REI and NEVER buy from Rumpl. They can't fulfill orders and when you do have an issue (which you will), they can't figure out how to fix it. Imagine spending $150 on a blanket that you never receive and the company refuses to process a refund. If you like throwing away your money and getting abused in the process, then Rumpl is the company for you!

I recently received a flyer in the mail from Rumpl where on the front of the flyer it stated 15% off coupon. I browsed through and found a blanket I wanted to buy (National Parks). Nowhere on the page or in the flyer did it indicate that the 15% off did not apply to this particular blanket. Clearly a bait and switch. When I asked them to honor this, they refused. So, I decided to cancel the order but they sent it anyway. Very disappointed in this local company that I really wanted to support.

I looked up Rumpl online and was amazed to discover that you have an actual site where I can see all your products and all your color scenes. The pictures online were great! I couldn't wait to come in and check them all out. Only to discover that this isn't a store, it's a corporate office. And, I couldn't even come in because posted on the locked door was a "by appointment only" sign. Even better ... no posted phone number so that I could try to make an appointment or contact you in any way.

I ordered a blanket for my mom for Mother’s Day. Paid for express shipping, total came to almost $200. That was 5 days ago. I go to track my order and it says my order could not be filled. No one sent me an email to inform me of this or offer me a refund. I’ve tried contacting customer support 4 times and no response.. I’m getting extremely aggravated. $200 isn’t cheap for me. I’m not sure how to go about this since the only way of contacting is through email which is pretty ignorant for it to be such a popular site.
