"Depending on your appetite, choose between a small or large portion of clear minced pork soup and perfectly flavoured tom yum broth. Each steaming bowl is topped with homemade fish balls and, if you so fancy, crispy fish skin. The minced pork balls are also a highlight." - Michelin Inspector

We arrived early, and it was already packed—even with two restaurant areas, one of which is across the street and more focused on food delivery orders. Fortunately, the wait wasn’t long, and you can place your order while waiting in line, which speeds things up. Our only regret was ordering the medium size—it should have been the big version because everything was so delicious! We tried the Tom Yum with soup, Tom Yum without soup, and the clear soup, along with the crispy fish skin chips. Every dish was packed with flavor and incredibly satisfying. The prices are unbelievably affordable for such high-quality food. By the time we left around noon, the queue was massive, with more than 20 food delivery riders waiting. If you’re planning to visit, go early and be ready for a popular, bustling spot that’s absolutely worth the hype!

No long queue and there is the left shop and right shop on the same street. We tried everything on the menu, best go for the Tom yum soup and the normal soup (with middle thick noodles). The side dishes fish dumplings and pork balls, crispy fish skin are also must try. Orange juice and plum juice was also very nice. Best pork noodles in town, It’s so good we came back two times ! 曼谷最棒的猪肉面,猪肉煮的非常棒,我们竟然回来两次。 #hungryrayshoots

Simple menu with limited choice said it all. The food is delicious. Price is super friendly. However, you pay what you get. The portion is small. Normal eaters advise to order double portion. Place is easy to access. Just 2 mins walk from Phrom Phong station.

I personally feel that this place is overrated even tho it’s a Michelin rated spot. I saw online that it was highly recommended as a must-visit, so I had very high expectations. After queuing for almost an hour in the hot weather, I was expecting something unique and unforgettable. However, when I finally got to try the noodles, they tasted just like a regular Malaysian pork noodle kuey teow soup—nothing particularly special. The taste was decent, but it simply didn’t live up to my expectations. Try once as tourist is okay, will not be my “always to go” option if I’m a local there.

Inexpensive but not big portion. Many people try both the Michelin shop and the non-Michelin shop one after the other. More seats in the expanded shop. Soup tastes lighter than the non-Michelin shop. Minced pork tastes less juicy than the non-Michelin shop.

It’s good. If you’re in Bangkok and you don’t eat Rung Rueang Noodles then you’re missing out. Both dry and soup noodles with the spicy of Tom yum is so flavorful. I’ve had it with soup without soup the regular clear soup and the tom yum with soup. It’s one dish but you get it in many different ways. So choose however you want it. The drinks are good too, all sweet.

Ordered: • Tom Yum Soup Noodles • Dry Noodles Visited Rung Rueang Pork Noodles, conveniently located near the Sukhumvit area. I thoroughly enjoyed both dishes—the soup version was rich and flavorful, while the dry version held its own with a great balance of taste. The pork slices and minced pork were seasoned perfectly, making the meal truly satisfying. The shop is split into two sections (left and right), and I’m not sure which side is better, but both seem equally popular. Definitely worth a visit!

The food was delicious. The Michelin stars were ubiquitous! Ultimately, this sort of noodle dish is not my favorite amongst Thai food offerings but the reason for its popularity is understandable. Michelin rated? I don’t get it. I feel like Michelin stars have become almost meaningless when it comes to ethnic foods. This is about the fifth such place I’ve tried and in all cases I’ve had no trouble finding other similar places I liked as much or more. (And yes, I’m crazy about ethnic foods and have traveled extensively, living for months at a time in numerous countries, I using Thailand.
