10 Best LA Restaurants on Uber Eats | Eater

"Who says you can’t make a meal out of wings? It’s eminently doable for watching a game with your friends and quite simple with delivery from this Korean chicken wing shop in Monterey Park. Adjust your order by party size (or party hunger), with options ranging from 10 wings to 50, and mix and match flavors with soy garlic, sweet and spicy, and lemon pepper on offer. Family meals on the menu make it easy to get a mix of the favorites — wings, drumsticks, and sides like garlic butter fries — without complicated ordering." - Vox Creative

Google
I saw this spot had great reviews and I was craving wings. A chicken wing or boneless wing restaurant. I had their bim bim bap and it was delicious. I opted for the boneless soy garlic and lemon pepper. They were both cooked perfectly and the flavor was on point. So good I didn’t need much sauce. Overall a solid lunch. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

Google
Their soy garlic is real good here. We ordered the group meal, which came with wings and drumsticks, and 2 sides. Only the wings come with sauce but you can dip the crispy drumsticks in the extra sauce for more soy garlic goodness. Service is great. Seating is limited inside and outside. There’s free parking in their lot and on the streets.

Google
Food: Ordered their large combo which came with 15 wings, two sides of fries, two drinks, and your choice of coleslaw or pickled radish. For their wings, I decided to get all three flavors: soy garlic, sweet and spicy, and their lemon pepper. Their sweet and spicy were my favorite but the other two were very good. Their lemon pepper was lemon-y and so crispy!! Their fries were crispy and reminded me of a more fresh version of McDonald’s fries. Their pickled radish tasted a bit like kelp. Service: We dined in and needed extra utensils and plates. The staff was kind to give us boxes for our leftovers. Their were very kind and friendly. Side note: They have a restroom which you need to ask the code for. You can park in the back and enter from their back door as well.

My wife and I enjoy eating chicken wings very much,we been to Wing Stop,Buffalo Wild Wings,Hooter and others restaurants serve wings they were pretty good. This is our first time tryout Korean style chicken or wings I know they know for spicy chili spices . We decided to try it we step in the restaurant and look at the menu display what to order we wings and choice of flavor,we got lemon pepper and Honey soy and side of lemon pepper fries and potato salad and cole slaw. Each order is made to order and takes time preparing and cooking the wings when they ready I couldn't wait to take a bite of the wings. They call my name and pick up our meal it looks pretty good I grab some of the lemon pepper fries they were really good I dip it in the ketchup tasted good then I took a bite ot the lemon pepper wings wow it was crispy and crunchy and the flavor incredible good that I couldn't stop they were so good and I try the Honey soy I remember the flavor but it was so good even my wife love it the wings were amazing we need to come and bring our friends try these wings.

I used to go to the location in Downey, it was the best chicken place EVER (speaking as someone who didn't like chicken before). Then it closed. This is my first time coming to the new location. The menu is completely different, they only have 3 sauces now. Not great, would not come again. RIP Downey Running Chicks. Forever in my heart.

Google
Food is always good, the only reason I'm posting is because of my order today. I ordered from uber and somebody dropped the ball on my order. So i opened my fries first and they werent the garlic butter, very disappointed i said oh well I'll live. But then i opened my wings and to my surprise only have 6 wings out of a 10 wing combo order.

Google
We ate here after driving from San Francisco, and it sure hit the spot. Food was fresh, and the flavors were really tasty. We split 50 wings with the three flavors between our party, and they were all tasty. Though the soy garlic was the most popular one. Recommend checking out if you're in the area!

Daniel K

Google
Solid Korean chicken restaurant. My girlfriend and I split the "15 for two" boneless combo, which also came with two fries and drinks and a side of either coleslaw or pickled radish. For flavors, we got the Sweet & Spicy and the Soy Garlic. Everything was delicious and there was so much food we couldn't finish it all. If you're ever in the mood for great Korean chicken or need party food, I would definitely consider this place!

Yelp
Sooo good as takeout!! They are so friendly over the phone which is good because their menu is a bit confusing for me (the photos on Yelp of the menu don't match the menu on delivery apps). I recommend you just call if you're willing to pickup instead of get delivery. Even as takeout, the chicken is ALWAYS crispy! My friends and I love the soy garlic, although I think their consistency on the sauce is too thin bc it always pools are the bottom of the box and I have to dip the wings. I would recommend retossing them or asking for sauce on the side. I noticed recently that they're giving less pickled radish. Other than that, highly recommend these wings for crispy, delicious, and comforting Korean Fried Chicken. Parking: theres always street parking whenever I pull up on Atlantic Blvd, but the plaza has parking in the back, too! Very convenient.

Yelp
The chicken here is so TERRIBLE !! right after it was served, it was warm-ish, not hot. the chicken was super tough-- not even crispy and hard to chew, the sauce did not taste very good.. There has definitely been a decline in quality. the cashier wasn't necessarily rude, but it just seems like they don't really care much about you. i like going to this strip to usually get some food but defo not coming back here.. the other restaurants in walking distance of this place are better

Yelp
I've visited this spot multiple times for some wings and fries and it's always freshly made to order! I like their lemon pepper and soy garlic flavors for their wings and their garlic fries. Their boneless wings also actually have more meat than breading which I appreciate too. Their staff is always friendly, willing to answer any questions I have about the menu. I think they work pretty efficiently too! Usually don't have to wait too long. Parking: free lot parking in the back

Yelp
Ate here a month ago. I wanted to eat at Kagura but there were too much people waiting already so I decided to just try something else. Basically trickled in due to another booming business ahah, got the 20 combo of boneless chicken wings. i think one was garlic, another bbq, and another lemon pepper. it was wonderfully seasoned. a girl took my order then went back to her laptop bored and a big guy cooked it up and once he was done he ate next to my table ‍. Love the A/C on a hot day and a fly kept me company

Yelp
Food is always delicious and fresh to order which I appreciate. Love the flavors and my son loves the pickle radish.

Yelp
The soy garlic bone-in wings here were some of the best Korean fried chicken I have ever tried, as the flavor of the soy garlic carried a perfect level of sweetness and the breading outside the chicken was light and maintained perfect crispiness. The other flavors sweet spicy and lemon pepper were weaker. The sweet spicy sauce wings had pretty good flavor but the breading wasn't very crispy. In my opinion, the flavor of the lemon pepper wings was okay and tasted a bit too sour from the lemon. Nevertheless, the soy-garlic bone-in wings were so good that I still think this place deserves a 5/5 Yelp rating.

Yelp
Ordered via Uber Eats. Service was fast and the garlic butter fries were really good. The chicken tasted funny so I wasn't able to eat the wings at all.

Yelp
Food is quick, they have rewards coupons! Love the garlic Parmesan fries, soy garlic wings. You can ask for ranch!!!

Yelp
First time visiting Running Chicks. Three of us dined in, and because I had never been there before, I called ahead of time to ask about the likelihood of getting a table if we went around 5 pm. The woman who answered the phone was very nice! Because it was a holiday (4th of July), I had no idea what it would be like. She said that it should be fine, and that usually they get busy around 6 pm. We ended up getting there about 5:30 pm. It was not crowded, and we got a table to dine in. We ended up ordering the Group Meal #1, which consisted of 10 pieces of wings (we got bone-in), 4 drumsticks, 2 sides and comp side. We opted for two orders of the fries, and the comp side was the pickled radish. Be sure to check in on Yelp to get 1 free wing when ordering wings! They also have a loyalty program--- I received a stamp card and I think I can get a free drink or something next time. The food was absolutely delicious! We got both the soy garlic and the lemon pepper. The chicken was cooked perfectly and juicy on the inside---so good freshly cooked and hot! I loved the soy garlic wings--it was my favorite. JJ commented that they were pretty messy and he needed wet ones. But I didn't mind. The lemon pepper wings were also delicious as well. Drumsticks are really large. The fries were okay---nothing special. We got the regular fries. I love the pickled radish, which goes so well with the chicken. Next time, I would try the coleslaw. I also think the chicken would be great with rice. The Group Meal #1 was a lot of food for the 3 of us, and I took home leftovers. I heated up the wings at home the next day, and they were so good. Ambience was nice, very pleasant and extremely cool, which was such a relief, given the sweltering heat outside. It even got a bit chilly, which was fine with me. There are at least 4 tables that comfortably seat 4 people, and one small table that seats 2. Most of the people were ordering their food to go. I liked dining in, because it was so good fresh and hot! Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended, and I will return. Service was very good and our order was prepared fairly quickly. There is parking in the rear, behind the restaurant.

Yelp
Love the soy garlic and sweet spicy aaaaa I recently bought some to take to the dodgers game because their prices can get insane and lines are long. It was so fast to order and pickup. Kudos to the guy in the back who made the order because the chicken was still so nicely juicy and crispy even after it got a bit cold. I got some more today because fried chicken tastes better on a rainy day and service is always polite and good.

Yelp
I was picking up some Thai food a few doors down and saw Running Chick's pop up on my GPS. Curious to see what it was I walked down and saw a cute Korean chicken shop. I decided to try it since the smells coming out the doorway were divine. I ordered a medium combo (10 bone-in wings with half soy garlic and lemon parmesan. Combo came with fries, small container of pickled radish and soda) for about $20. Food was fresh fried, hot and tasty. Good crunch and lemon parmesan was kind of addictive since it was so tangy compared to the soy garlic. Overall nice combo. Plenty of parking behind the strip mall.

Yelp
So glad this place was opened on Christmas Day! We had were looking for food. We got the large combo for 2 , $29. 95 bone in. It came with 15 pcs, fries and 2 drinks plus pickles. We got all three flavors: garlic soy, lemon pepper and sweet spicy. The flavours were all great! Love the sweet spicy. I really enjoyed my fried wings and drumsticks.

Yelp
Best lemon pepper wings ever! The soy garlic are also yummy. The spicy chili are good, but I prefer the other two. My mom liked those best, though, so it's a matter of preference. I was so sad when the one in Walnut closed, but glad there's still this one in MPK. Some may consider it a bit on the pricy side, but the flavor, texture, etc. is really good - much better than Wingstop, in my opinion. The place is fine and there's adequate seating if you're eating there, which we did. It's also great that they still have the stamp cards. I would give it 5 stars because I really love the wings and fries. Only two things put a slight damper on things for this location. 1) You're not able to redeem the item on the stamp card unless it's already been stamped from before. If you earn stamps to reach a free item on one visit, you have to redeem it on your next visit/purchase. At the Walnut location we were able to use it on the same visit. But I understand. 2) The girl at the counter was polite enough and brought the items to our table, which was appreciated. She wasn't very communicative, though, and a little direction on some things would've been helpful. It wasn't bad service, but it could've been better. Perhaps she had an off day? Although it's further for us to get wings, etc., if I'm in Monterey Park, I'm glad I can get the lemon pepper and soy garlic.

Yelp
Came here to catch up with an old friend. We ordered 20 piece bone in wings for $32 not including tax/tip. Not many flavor options, just soy garlic and lemon pepper sounded good. The last option, sweet spicy, didn't sound good to me as i don't like sweet savory items. They don't have much options when it comes to sides either, just some fries or rice. Would be nice if they served tteokbokki or ramen here. I bet they would make hella money just selling the instant stuff and charging it cheaply ($4-6). Value: Taste wise there was no problem. Flavors were strong and accurate. However why tf are their wings so small? Just look at the photo. I've never seen a smaller wing in my life. Are these Cornish hens or pheasant wings? Honestly I'd rather drive a lil farther to bb.q chicken and get bigger wings even if I have to pay a lil more. Over there they have more options too. Service: Kind quick service Parking: plenty of parking in the back and in the busy street

Yelp
It was late the checked was good with great flavor. The service was nice, the cashier lady had a really nice smile that I find alluring. I WILL BE BACK

Yelp
My Go-To Korean fried chicken place! Wings are always fresh and crunchy!! I love their soy garlic + lemon pepper. They have new garlic parm fries which are so so so yummy! Worth the try. I also love their garlic butter fries. I've never had a bad experience with them. All the staff are so nice and aren't afraid to give out recommendations! Their milk tea was also very rich and creamy. They provide stamp cards and you get good deals out of them!

Yelp
Been coming here for years. Saw they now have boneless wings, so I tried them... Best. Boneless. Wings. Ever. Love the lemon pepper - one of the best out there -, as well as the soy garlic. If you haven't tried Korean Fried Chicken, what are you waiting for? Running Chicks is a great option if you're in the SGV!

Emily L.

Yelp
You would think that when their menu has wings or drumsticks, when you order wings it would be all wings. But when I got my order it ended up being mostly drumsticks, waste of my money

Yelp
Lately I've been giving too much of my time to work. And always scrambling at 5pm to think of dinner for the family. Today was no exception but it was the kiddo's birthday so it had to be something different that all 3 generations can enjoy. I chose this place and got the food to-go. Packaged well and the chicken--crispy on the outside and flavorful throughout. Everyone chowed down to it, even my husband who usually stays away from eating fried chicken. We love the soy garlic and lemon pepper. Pickled radishes go so well with the chicken!

Yelp
What's up: Dinner time and we were looking to grab some Korean fried chicken. After a quick search on Yelp, we settled on checking this place out! Parking: Located at the Mar Center, there's plenty of parking available in the covered parking structure located behind the businesses. There's also limited street parking up front on Atlantic Blvd. Environment: There are two entrances: the front is accessible from the street on Atlantic Blvd and the back entrance is from the parking structure. The order counter is located up front with the menus hanging overhead on the TV screens. There's a chalk menu decorating the wall near the back entrance and the restroom is also located near there (ask the staff member for the code). There are a handful of tables for indoor dining and a couple up front for outdoor dining. Cute running chicks decorate the side of the wall. One busy staff member manning the counter to take phone and in store orders (poor guy was constantly busy). The fountain drinks are self served and the machine is located up front near the counter. There's also a stamp card that you can take advantage of; every $10 gets you a stamp towards free food! What was ordered: - Large Combo for Two (we got the bone-in wings in soy garlic and lemon pepper. Both were good but we enjoyed the tang of the lemon pepper over the sweet soy; wasn't too salty either! Fries, drinks, and coleslaw included in the combo) - Bibimbap (yummy. The sauce gave it a bit of spice but it was pretty good) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. It was empty when we first arrived, but the crowd quickly came right after us. Oh and don't forget there's a Yelp Check In offer too! Credit cards are accepted.

Yelp
This is my go-to chicken wings place. Skip wingstop. If you're ever craving wings and fries, this is the place to go. I always get their soy garlic wings and Parmesan garlic fries. It's super good
google avatar

Angeli P.

Yelp
Chicken wings are still my favorite! Thank you for introducing me to soy garlic! Best flavor ever
google avatar

Samantha W.

Yelp
We got 11 Wings (soy garlic, sweet spicy, lemon pepper). The soy garlic were the best flavor by far. The only thing was that the wings were kinda over cooked. They weren't juicy and were slightly dry. I'm guessing because the wings are small they cook quite fast - should probably lessen the cook time a bit. And they could've been more crunchy crispy on the outside. The fries were good lol. The service was really great. So friendly. The place does seem to need a better ventilation system though. It smells too oily in there and will 100% stick to your hair and clothes if you eat-in.

Yelp
My family was craving fried chicken, and our usual fried chicken places closest to my house were closed for a holiday. I searched for other fried chicken options, and decided on Running Chicks. It's a Korean fried chicken place. I ended up ordering carry out as I usually do with fried chicken. I ordered the boneless wings small portion half soy garlic sauce and half lemon pepper. It came with a generous serving of fries and also a side of Korean pickles, as well as a fountain drink. The lemon pepper chicken was solid. The soy garlic sauce was just a bit too sweet for my tastes, but overall the fried chicken itself was good. The fries tasted exactly like McDonalds fries, maybe just slightly saltier. The pickles were fairly standard.

Yelp
I got their 6pc combo (boneless, soy garlic flavor) with regular fries, radish, and a drink for $13 including tax (as of Feb 2023). You can choose either bone-in or boneless but the bone-in will cost you a couple bucks extra. I personally like the boneless because it's easier to eat and crispier! I opted for regular fries but you can also upgrade that to garlic fries for $2 extra. Combo comes with side of either radish or coleslaw, but what is even Korean fried chicken without radish?! The breading and crispness of the boneless wings were a 10/10. The soy garlic flavor was also 10/10! I would definitely recommend this place for the value and quality of food. I was picking up lunch on the go so I called in 15 mins before since I know Korean fried chicken can take some time to prep. By the time I arrived the food was ready and fresh! Def suggest calling in your order if you're in a rush like I was.
google avatar

Joy P.

Yelp
my fav fried chicken place ever! I've filled up 3 stamp cards (u get 1 stamp per $10 spent) Lemon pepper + soy garlic bone-in 10 piece is my go to! They're always a 8/10 or higher, breading is so airy and crisp + seasoning is perfect!
google avatar

Yelp
4.5 stars. Ordered to go and my order was ready in 15 min. Got large bone in chicken combo with all 3 flavors. Combo came with 2 drinks and 2 fries. I upgraded them to garlic butter and lemon pepper fries, and enjoyed the garlic one more. Also upgraded to milk tea as well. As for the wings, the sauces were super delicious. Really enjoyed the soy sauce and spicy ones. Also tried some drumsticks. They were fried perfectly. They were really juicy and crispy but the meat was pretty bland.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite Asian chicken wings spots. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for a while and we love it! We usually get the bone-in wings with the soy garlic sauce but have lately been ordering the boneless wings. Chicken is always crispy and saucy, and always comes out hot/fresh! Service at the order counter is always great. Inside the shop is always clean and usually empty but lots of phone orders, so I'm sure that customers are like me and typically order and take it home to enjoy. Thanks Running Chicks for always providing such yummy, quality chicken!

Yelp
Crunchy wings that stay crunchy even with sauce! I love Korean fried chicken and decided to try this place. Location: In a strip mall off Atlantic. There is street parking up from that is convenient if available- just be careful with passing traffic when you open car food. Also available is multilevel garage parking in back. It's just awkward where they placed walkways/elevators so it's a bit if walking around to get to entrance. Next to other eateries so it can get crowded. Service: menu is clear, counter service helpful, and interior clean and bright Food: Wings- the main event here are delicious. I ordered soy garlic and sweet spicy. The soy garlic was my favorite! The sweet spicy was good just a tad spicy for me. What I loved the most is that even 5 hours later, the wings were still crunch despite sauce. My only complaint is I wish the flats were bigger- they were a little small but not the smallest I've seen at wing places Bibimbap- plenty to share between 2-3 people is also having wings. Well balanced between the rice and all the veggies. Fried egg available for $1 add on.

Yelp
Wow.... I came here on a whim because I was soooo hungry and I don't really like chicken that much and has zero expectations for it to be good LOL. I got "chicken tenders" that was pretty much nuggets but man was it delicious and I was sooo happy that they used dark meat and it was juicy! I was blown and so impressed! What the heck... so surprising to me how yummy it was and I got the sou glazed. The chicken was coated in some crispiness and it was perfectly seasoned. The fries I got were pretty basic but good and crispy comparable to McDonald's fries. I would come back here again !
google avatar

Ann Q.

Yelp
Chicken was Delicious! Super crispy and soy garlic flavor was very savory. The sweet spicy sauce was meh. Fries were perfectly fried, they are sourcing some bomb frozen fries from somewhere... Pickled radish was on the soft side. Minus 1 - place is pretty run down, grease steaks all over the tables, chairs, walls, and doors. Minus 1 - service could be better. This place is small. Would it hurt to provide a little bit of table service? Like there's literally no one else in the store and the table is 5 steps away from you. Rather than bring the food to the guest, they proceed to just call out your number and await for you to come get your food. Tables also weren't getting cleaned timely given they were sitting around half the time.
google avatar

Winnie L.

Yelp
Pro tip: Check-in for a free wing. You can split the sauces half and half for your order. Highlights: The wings are crispy with good flavor. I enjoyed the soy garlic and the sweet spicy wasn't overwhelmingly spicy. Lowlights: The wings are really small which makes the value go down. I'm not sure I'd return for this price point.
google avatar

Yelp
My family and I regularly default to buying our fried chicken from this spot because of three reasons. 1) The fried chicken is delicious. 2) The price for what you get is reasonable 3) They're always consistent with the crispness and flavoring for the chicken, so we've never been let down. My favorite fried chicken seasoning is the soy garlic while the lemon pepper comes as a close second. The sweet and spicy is good too, but I can't handle spice well.

Yelp
I went to Running Chicks tonight with some friends as we were craving some korean style fried chicken but did not want to drive all the way to Ktown's bustling night scene and was left with my craving satisfied. We ordered the group meal #1, which included 10 wings in two different flavors, 4 drumsticks with choice of dipping sauce, 2 sides, and a comp side. We choose soy garlic and lemon pepper wings, with the sweet and spicy sauce and pickled radish. We also upgraded the two orders of fries to garlic butter and lemon pepper. We were surprised that the food came out so quickly in about 10 minutes, as korean fried chicken places usually take pretty long to double fry and sauce the chicken. That being said, there was no old chicken or fry oil taste, and everything was very crispy yet moist at the same time. The soy garlic wings were my favorite, with the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The garlic butter fries were fantastically buttery and smelled great, while the lemon pepper flavors were not overpoweringly sour. The staff was very nice and helped us order while also providing things everything we needed; this place is a self service, but they were kind enough to bring our food to our table, which is thought was a thoughtful touch. The interior was cute with limited seating but should not be a problem as it feels like enough. My only complaint is that the tables and floors were not the cleanest with chicken and fry trash everywhere, and while it is self service and wasn't anything crazy, it would have been nice if the tables were cleaner. Overall, very well priced and very nice staff; will definitely come back!

Yelp
Came to this plaza to get boba and wandered into this spot cause I was hungry. Tip #1: check in and get a free wing with your order! We ordered the 10 piece with the pickled radish and it took about 15 mins for our order to be ready. We opted for the lemon pepper and sweet and spicy flavors. The lemon pepper was seasoned to perfection! It wasn't drowning in pepper and the amount of lemon was just right. The sweet and spicy had more of a thick gooey coating to it and boy did it have a kick to it! We learned very quickly that the pickled radishes actually kicked up the heat, which we thought was interesting hahah. The chicken themselves were so juicy inside and crispy on the outside. 10/10 would recommend. Tip #2: you can choose two flavors for 10 piece and 3 flavors for 15 piece. I had a few pieces left over and heated them up in the oven and they tasted just as good! Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area craving some wings!

Yelp
Picked up a 10pc combo order and a 15pc combo order from Running Chicks during a weekday evening. This was a perfect amount for 3 people. Chicken flavors were great. The lemon pepper was very lemony. The soy garlic was on a light side of soy, but tasted a little boozy in my opinion. The chicken was juicy and they stayed crisp after my 10 minute drive home. (Props to Running Chicks!) Price is a little so-so as the menu is limited to 3 combos and I think only a small and medium option for just the wings. Biggest upset was that they forgot the complimentary pickled radish for my to go order, but I'd come back because of the nice staff and tasty chicken.

Yelp
I was badly craving Asian fried chicken last night and didn't want to drive out to our usual spot in Irvine so my bf and I needed to find a place that was open at 9PM in the SGV.....(For my Asian mom reading this....I know it's terrible to eat this late but cravings got to me and my supportive bf always respects my wishes. ) We found this place through Yelp that was only 15 min away from our house and was definitely pleased with everything from the food to service. We ordered the large combo for two: soy garlic and sweet spicy wings, fries, rice and pickled radish. Yummy wings, quick service, plenty of available tables to eat at either inside or outside, and plenty of parking in the parking lot behind the restaurants. The restaurant was decorated real simple but it was clean. Bathroom was also clean. Will be coming back in the future for our fried chicken cravings!

Yelp
Arrived very late back in town for Christmas eve after a long vacation, and we didnt have food! By late, I mean, we ubered at 1030, and got home close to 11pm, and most restaurants are closed. With that said, Running Chicks was open late fortunately and i was able to put an order in 5 mins before they closed. Had it doordashed to our house and it arrived only a minutes after we got there (had to select gift option bec doordash is tracking your GPS location). i ordered boneless chicken, bone-in wings, bone-in chicken legs, and curry chicken with rice. Delicious. I dont know if we were just hungry but it might even be better than BB.Q chicken. The chicken was well cooked and seasoned nicely. I can still taste it! And I ordered thru doordash and it arrived promptly. The fare may not be fancy enough as a christmas dinner, but in a pinch, it fills the belly and soothes the soul. Happy Holidays RC! Thank you for feeding us on Christmas eve!

Yelp
It's better than bbq chicken restaurant. Got the soy garlic wings which were sweet but not overly saturated with soy flavor so it was a nice balance. Didn't taste as much garlic but it was good overall. The lemon pepper was really good and juicy. Really recommend. Usually I worry about soy garlic and lemon pepper being dry or too crispy but they made it just right. Not dry but not too crispy. It was definitely cooked with fresh seasoning vs just a deep fry dump. The garlic butter fries were a huge portion and tasted great too. I'll try the lemon pepper fries next. When I came in, it was empty which made me second guess but it's bc everyone takes out. Inside there's a few tables and outside too. I recommend they spend a bit to get better chairs and sweep around. Inside is pretty unappealing. Parking is free and part of a larger two story lot. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
My family and I decided on fried chicken on a Friday night. It's been a long week, and nothing bets crispy and crunchy foods to compensate for that. We order 40 pieces. It came with a mix of wings and drumsticks, as well as a a small coleslaw and potato salad. And of course, there's a bibimbap. The lemon pepper was freakishly delicious. So flavorful! So zesty! The other flavors - soy garlic and sweet spicy - were tied seconds for us, but we enjoyed the sweet and spicy from each and we made sure to cover each bit in their sauce. Needless to say, we also love garlic and spicy foods. It's definitely on the pricier side, but we each ate about 8-9 each. Definitely worth a try if you love fried chicken! Recommend!

Yelp
Pretty dank wings! I came here a few times before but I'm writing this review since I came here yesterday and it's fresh in my mind. Got the soy garlic and the lemon pepper! Both are soo good!! I like the soy garlic the most but the lemon pepper really gives a good balance since soy garlic is saucy and lemon pepper is dry. I thought the soy garlic had a good balance of garlic flavor and the lemon pepper was so seasoned with the lemon-y flavor! The radish is also very well made. The only thing I'd say about this is that you may be very thirsty after this. Although it is delicious, it is sodium packed and I think it should only be eaten once in a while. Superb crisp to each bite and I would highly recommend eating it immediately. I had some leftovers for the next day and although it's still good, it doesn't beat the wings that freshly made!! I can say this is one actually one of my favorite Korean fried chicken places compared to others around town. Also! Check in on Yelp and you can get one free wing. Yum!

Yelp
Was excited to try it since fried chicken from the SGV can vary and it's nice to try new places that serves unique all flavors. That being said the flavors on their dry seasoning is a little overwhelming with the salt, to my taste, that being said it could be the right amount for someone else. Their batter is on par almost with BBQ chicken but I may be biased because I out BBQ chicken as one of my top fried chicken places. Their service is quick and easy to order from their counter, very nice customer service, and their decor inside the restaurant is simplistic/modern that is easy in the eyes if you sit and eat there.

Yelp
I love Running Chicks!!! It's the best Korean Wings place I've had!!!! I've been coming here since 2018. I drive 20 minutes to get there, during traffic it's longer. It's definitely worth it!!!! I like to call in my order before hand, so it's ready when I get there. There is street parking as well as parking in the back. It's a small structure. The inside is a good size but hey have tables and chairs for you to eat inside if you want. I ordered a 10 piece combo with fries and a drink. It came out to $19 and change. Prices did go up but just like everything else did. The only I noticed is some wings were much smaller. I get half Lemon Pepper and half Soy Garlic. Those two are my favorite flavors. I would recommend you coming and trying out this place.

Yelp
so good & tasty! The wings are flavorful. Soy Garlic is my favorite one & sweet spicy is the runner up! Skinny fries are also crunchy and good.

Yelp
The chicken is pretty good for the price. I really like the garlic butter fries. There's never a line and food comes out quick. There's plenty of parking in the lot behind the restaurant. They have a restroom. Very casual. Good for a quick bite in the area.

Yelp
Texture and flavors are always a hit! I have ordered 2x for work potluck and my coworkers always compliment the flavor and texture. Crunchy and right amount of sauce. Soy garlic and lemon pepper have been the best. The spicy is also good. Love the order ahead option on Yelp. Even though they had a glitch on my order last Friday, they made my order within 10 minutes. Customer service is awesome too.
