"Today is opening day for the new Dallas location of Rush Bowls, a smoothie bowl chain out of Colorado. The 1,036 square-foot restaurant opens today at 5331 E. Mockingbird Lane in Mockingbird Station, helmed by husband and wife team Ted and Elizabeth Bachmeier. The choices go on and on when it comes to picking out a healthy snack: the shop will have 40 signature bowls or smoothies made with fruit and vegetable bases, including acai, kale and avocado, all topped with honey and organic granola. This is the start of a big splash in Dallas for Rush Bowls: Eater reported back in June that the chain’s also inked deals for locations in Flower Mound and Keller, and hopes to open up to eight new outposts are expected to open over the next couple years. The 14-year-old chain is expanding throughout the nation: over 70 Rush Bowls restaurants currently in various stages of development across 14 states." - Adele Chapin

I am writing to express my concerns regarding my recent "Too Good To Go" order from your establishment. The contract stated that the order would have a value of $18 and could include a bowl and/or smoothie. However, upon pickup, I received an $8 bowl that is currently on sale. This was disappointing as it did not match the promised value, and I would not have made the effort to pick up an $8 bowl for $6.48. Additionally, when I inquired about the preparation of the bags, I was informed that it always includes one normal bowl or one normal smoothie, which does not equate to the $18 value claimed. This practice feels misleading and does not meet the expectations set forth. Furthermore, while the oatmeal topping was satisfactory, the base of the bowl was subpar and did not meet the quality standards I anticipated. I hope you will address these concerns to ensure a more transparent and satisfactory experience for future customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Flew in from Nashville TN this morning and wanted something healthy and filling. Well I searched Açaí bowls near Dallas Love Field and chose this location. Loved the Açaí Bowl🫶🏽 Got the Oasis bowl w/o Coconut Milk, only Peach Juice, toppers added were bananas, strawberries and blueberries ! It was delicious. Ellis was amazing, very detailed about times they were out of, great customer service and as you can see the bowl looked amazing. 🤩

Came first thing in the morning for breakfast. The staff member was very nice and friendly, and also let us know that he still had some fresh items pending delivery. We were fine with the ingredients they had on hand. We ordered the Beach Bowl and the Chai Bowl (with some minor adjustments) and both were delicious! Would love to order them again! The store was clean, and there were several games at the counter for guests to enjoy (we did!). Would definitely recommend (or return, when we’re in town)!

Google
This is a great place to have a meal without any guilt. I got the Paradise Bowl around noon, and it kept me satisfied until I ate dinner later that night. The fruit toppings were fresh, the granola was nice and crunchy, and the actual smoothie part was a great consistency. I will definitely return to try some of the other delicious looking options.

Jay and Emily were absolutely amazing! I can't get enough of this place - it's always a blast! The atmosphere is so laid-back, there are fun games to unwind with, and the fresh organic smoothies and açaí bowls are out of this world! Try the paradise bowl extra granola ‼️ -Brendan

Google
The Choco Covered Strawberry Bowl was delicious. Brenda was patient with us while we took some time to order, and she even gave us recommendations. Excellent Customer Service, Thank you!

Jonathan

Google
Loved the PB&J bowl it was so filling and delicious! They don't skimp on the toppings like some other places I enjoyed it so much thanks to Brenda, for always making some good bowls! I enjoy her service every time.

Samantha

Google
Great service and an amazing smoothie! Brenda was super helpful and made my visit even matter. Definitely coming back.

Kari B.

Yelp
Super sweet staff. My bowl was ordered exactly how I asked. Clean business as well. They have a large selection of bowls and toppings.

Sonya S.

Yelp
The menu was delightful, and the lady explained how it works since it was our first time. It is nice and tastes like any smoothie bar, or I may need to try a different bowl. They had cute mini games to play

Jeremy B.

Yelp
I ordered the super protein smoothie and the girls working told me they could change anything I order to a bowl, so I got the bowl version. It was very good and the flavor was amazing, I substituted the peanut butter for almond butter because they were out (which was fine). I actually liked the almond butter a lot. I used Almond milk as well and had strawberries and blueberries on top. They have little games for you to play while you eat your bowl/smoothie if you and a friend ended up stopping by. The young ladies working too where very friendly and inviting explaining the menu to me. I love a good bowl and I workout at the gym next door so I will definitely be back.

Leo S.

Yelp
Super tasty and delicious. Got the Jungle bowl to recuperate for the day and it was on hit. Coming back for another flavor

Yelp
Pretty basic açaí bowl place. Nothing wrong with it and nothing spectacular that would be different or more substantial than any other açaí place. I do like that you can add what you like inside of your bowl as well as toppings but each of those are an extra $1 which can add up quickly if you're not careful. Staff inside was very friendly and they also have a "pup bowl" for purchase for your dog! Super cute. It's just fine but not going to be a place I frequent while in Dallas.

Nisha N.

Yelp
I loved it here. Great Açaí bowls and they are a pretty decent size. My daughter and I played tic tac toe and ate our bowls at this cute little gem. It took us about an hour to get to it because it was a Saturday And it is Dallas.. the traffic was horrible!! But once we arrived it was so worth the trip!!!!

Nikki M.

Yelp
I've come here twice and they have been unexpectedly closed despite their hours showing open.

Eva M.

Yelp
Quick, healthily, friendly, great vibe, fast and is a smoothie bowl with topping. Morning, noon, afternoon, evening how can you say no to this. It's light and make your stomach full quickly. Definitely would come back multiple time. If you are vegan, GF or nut allergy this is your spot!!!! It's hard to find a place in Texas but this is one of them.

Samantha J.

Yelp
This was the worst açaí bowl. No taste at all. It tasted like water somehow. Customer service was not great. The one person working literally said no words. I'm sad, I really wanted to like it.

Stacy V.

Yelp
Love these bowls!!! I'm so picky but I've been back twice in 2 days they are so good!! Everyone is so friendly and the games to play while you wait it just cute!

Candi C.

Yelp
First time here. The customer service and my smoothie was great! I also got to meet Tashara Parker from channel 8 she's so down to earth! Enjoyed my smoothie will be returning.

Maggie C.

Yelp
Every time I go here it always hits the spot. The vibe on the inside is amazing and they are always very fast. The one thing I didn't really like was that I paid $1 for banana as an extra topping and they only gave me half of one but not too big of a deal it was still delicious!

David F.

Yelp
Love the bowls here. Lots of options and the ingredients are super fresh. Great place!!

Drop D.

Yelp
Runny bowl taste like baby milk pudding. Grossssss. I would not waste my money and time. I paid $27 for 2 bowls that are a complete JOKE! GOOD LUCK!

Elaine M.

Yelp
Why have I not tried Rush Bowls before??? If you're looking for a refreshing, healthy meal, this is the place! First the selection of acai or smoothie bowls is ridiculous. There is a combo for everyone. They are generous with the toppings and for $9 you get it all blended ready to eat. I love fresh berries so I got the berry bowl and it was delicious, filling and loved that it comes with granola and a drizzle of honey. I added chocolate chips as my topping. Dark chocolate is good for you! My kids just had sports practice so they were pretty hungry, each got a Beach bowl with their own topping (one for fresh strawberries, and the other a giant dollop of peanut butter). Neither one could finish, but don't worry you can get a lid and take it home. We'll be back to try some of the other fresh bowl flavors for sure!

Leslie J.

Yelp
The Pitaya Playa and Power Bowl are delicious! One of my favorite bowl stops in Dallas! The staff is always so nice and quick and I love that my dog can come, too! The music is on point, too.

Jordan C.

Yelp
honestly addicted to these bowls. Usually get a beach bowl with strawberry and coconut shavings. Sometimes they are slow, but taste is 10/10

Evelyn F.

Yelp
I always look forward to a smoothie from here but I literally just left with the worst smoothie I've ever tasted in my life. First off, the person working was not friendly or welcoming even after I greeted her. Second, she was not wearing any gloves when she was making the smoothie. Last, the smoothie I got was not blended correctly at all and it didn't even taste or looked like the Super Protein smoothies I have gotten in the past. I even went back to a picture I had taken of my smoothie in the past and it looks completely different. You can visibly see the full chunks of ice, kale, and strawberry that hadn't been blended up properly in the one I received today. This smoothie was not worth $10 and was below Smoothie King quality. I will not be coming back.

Tashana L.

Yelp
Yum!! I enjoy the bowls and smoothies at Rush Bowls. My favorite bowl is the paradise with strawberries on top. Everything I've had here taste great. I wish the place was a bit bigger to allow dine in. The service could also use improvement. Overall I've had good experiences here and would definitely recommend!

Maddy M.

Yelp
Really bad. the service was horrible. We looked forward to it but the lady working the front didn't even say a word and was extremely impolite. We even tried to ask this lady a question and she didn't even speak or say the total when we paid. extremely rude. plus the food wasn't even that good. would not recommend to anyone.

Mary D.

Yelp
I walked in here at 7:16 pm and the girl working came out from the back told me that the blenders were turned off and she wouldn't serve me because they were closed. I asked her if they closed at 8 pm, and she said yes but wouldn't serve us. Driving to another açaí bowl place tonight

Glory N.

Yelp
Service and bowl was nasty. The front desk lady did not say good morning or even acknowledged me when I walked in. The beach bowl I received was so nasty had no fruit and so watery. I suggest going to Juice Bar to in Lakewood their Acai bowls are the best I've tried! I was disappointed today with what I got.

Genovieve C.

Yelp
Super good! Tried it once as a quick breakfast before work & I just had to come back for another one! Also really great service! Sweet girl Lyna took really good care of me & definitely made me bowl with love it was really good!

Hudson S.

Yelp
LNya & Sy'Niyah Very good food and nice people. The beach bowl was my favorite. The service is really great

Dre S.

Yelp
Solid bowl! Had the Beach bowl with blueberries, strawberries, and coconut shavings. The honey and granola are delicious. It's filling and they give you a lot. The inside is quite small though, just a bar with seating. The tropical bliss smoothie was ok. It was a little too tangy for my liking. The workers are friendly and attentive and will try to make conversation with you. They made the bowl and smoothies pretty fast. Overall, it's a solid place. Pick one up if you're around the area

Mikhael W.

Yelp
I've never understood the hype surrounding breakfast.... I mean, who's ACTUALLY hungry an hour or two after awakening? Well I put my foot in my mouth because one morning I could've eaten a whole human.... Because I've been doing this whole "intermittent fasting thing" I convinced myself that eating breakfast (the alleged most important meal of the day) wasn't all that bad; along with assuring myself, my choice would be healthy, nutritious, and good for my body. Rush Bowls had been bookmarked since the day they opened. Why not have a go at it? The 2 young ladies behind the desk were all smiles and very helpful with my decision making. The Peanut Butter and Jelly bowl with added choc chips (1 free topping on Tuesdays I believe) was not the healthiest choice but was not as unforgiving as The All American Grand Slam at your local diner/dive restaurant. The peanut butter is made in house and tasted like....yep, you guessed it....Peanuts! Everything tasted fresh and was very filling. The total came out to be around $9 which is more than I'd customarily spend on a quick bite in the AM, but I munched on it into the lunch hours, so it converted to 2 meals! COWABUNGA! Air Five to Rush Bowls! I don't feel badly about cheating after all!

India C.

Yelp
I had the PBJ. and Lemon bowls made to order they were delicious I am addicted I order 2-3 freeze them and eat over the next few days as a meal they are that good

Ray F.

Yelp
This is a COOL place for a COOL treat/snack/meal for you, family/date/friends and OH, don't forget your dog/dogs!! I'm not a smoothie type and eating fruit/healthy is not something that makes my day, but walking into this place, I think they could convert me! First, there is parking all over the place, but you might have a walk a bit. So make your exercise app happy! Second, this place is bright, cheerful and has a splash of color (Really! The main wall artwork is a splash with fruit.) Next important item is the menu. Call it an idea board as they will customize what ever your taste buds and belly want. I'm an old fuddy duddy so I just went with the Lemon Twist smoothie made of cherry, raspberry and lemon. It was absolutely beyond delicious with just enough sweet, sour and smile creating tartness! The knock your socks off moment was seeing the Bow Wow Bowl for dogs! Okay, that makes this place dog friendly! It looked like something all healthy dogs or dogs wanting to eat right should have! The price is absolutely worth it as the quality is super! OH, and the straw being used changed color as it changed temperature! That would make kids (and the kid in you) thrilled!

Dariyus W.

Yelp
I love these bowls. I think your new employee (black guy) needs to be trained better. Seemed kind of aloof and when I asked him to make my order to go, he handed me a to go bag instead of bagging up my order and not a second later someone else walked in and picked up their order that was already bagged. It was giving lazy or bad attitude. Or both. I don't know but he almost got called out on it because I expect great customer service just as I'm expected to be a great customer. Also I'm blackity black so I don't wanna hear none of that racist bull about him being black. There are barely any black people that work there so it won't be hard for them to narrow down who the employee is.

Kisha B.

Yelp
Well, the justification of my review is met with scrambled notions. To be honest it pains me to grant a 1 star rating, especially when first my experience was a pleasant occasion. I've attached pictures my purchase, and payments. Let me note that on 4 visits I paid in cash. I will attempt to summarize below. Customer Service-  The young man whom I place my order with today left in the middle of completing it!  I'm going to assume his shift was ending. Another  young lady entered, and he spoke with her in the back, and exited the front doors momentarily. His co-worker who had been present then completed my order, but it was incorrect! However, I don't blame her because I explained the specifics to the gentleman. The (2)Green RX Smoothies were to hold the avocado, with pineapple instead. This was upsetting being that my order was $40. Not to mention I tipped him 10% which was 6.99, bringing my total to $41. Note to self tip after job is done! Smoothie & Bowl Taste-  To be honest my first time visiting I enjoyed both the smoothie and bowl! This is why I continued my visits! The first 2 employees delivered pleasant customer service, and the products were to my delight. However on my next visits the taste was different each time, as were the employees, and they lacked pleasantry!  Location-This area of Dallas has such a lovely atmosphere. There are so many cool little shops up and down the strip. After a nice walk, run, yoga, or any exercise session this place can be a nutritious option for your health venture. Price- Smoothies are $7 and Bowls are $9 with tax closer to $8 and $10. The additions are 75 cent to a $1. With options like weight trim, fiber ect. Also I believe the Coconut and Almond milk are $1 extra but the low-fat is regular price. Overall feelings- My first visit was great in customer service & taste! However these  last few visits and today's were not! I'm weighing out my option of returning. One Bowl and & smoothie can run you $17 that's almost 20 bucks! Each visit I've spent no less than $10! As Teacher who gets paid once a month, and now that the stock market is down due to the pandemic my extra stock cash is dry. So if I spend my money I except quality service. I may return, I'm thinking of peeking my head in the window to see if it's the same employees on my first visit then consume! And to those 2 employees I grant 5 stars! Doux geaux getchouxsum ;)

Steve D.

Yelp
Top five worst experiences in my life re: food pickup. 37 minutes to get a single bowl after ordering ahead. Employee hating her job and 0% engagement. Had no idea how to cut a banana or a strawberry. Really. Didn't put two toppings on the bowls that I paid for and couldn't figure out how to put the lids on the açaí bowl, so it spilled over on the way home, $34, including tip, for an epic failure of two Beach Bowls. Vitality Bowls is only a 1000% better. Unfortunately closed up at 75 & Walnut Hill. Keep looking folks, this is not a replacement.

Alexia C.

Yelp
Best smoothies/bowls in town!!! I come in at least once a week!!! They always make my order just how I want it!

Gwendolen L.

Yelp
honestly its great theres a smoothie bowl place next to the transit center, so I can get there without a car, but tbh the bowls are just too soupy. its already liquid when i first get it.

Frankie A.

Yelp
So glad this place reopened. The renovation looks amazing and the customer service is great as always. I highly recommend trying the paradise bowl as it's amazing. The store is clean and aesthetically pleasing. I don't leave many reviews but I have been a customer here for a long time and it's consistently delicious and healthy. Highly recommend!

Katie W.

Yelp
Disappointed. Used to be a favorite of mine but will sadly be trying to find a new place to go.

Alex S.

Yelp
10/10 best açaí bowls in Dallas! My go to for the past few years! I love the beach bowl the best

Cameron K.

Yelp
It was my first time eating here and LNya & Sy'niyah were so helpful in helping me decide on a bowl! Great service and the atmosphere here is good - lots of little games like mancala and connect 4. I'll be coming back!

Angela D.

Yelp
Yummmmm first time here and it was delicious I got the chai bowl I've never had anything like that before

Rhonda J.

Yelp
Having frequented Mockingbird Station the past month and a half, at the strong suggestion of a friend, I tried Rush Bowls for the first time. Boy what have I been missing? I've tried other popular options and "healthy" options for smoothie bowls and this place transcended all others. I dove into the Oasis with almond butter-Rain's-Rush associate-and it truly lived up to its name. I will come again. Rain's hospitality/service was impeccable. Attentive to her craft at the same time being attentive and engaged with us as guests. Can't wait to try her suggestion the "Beach" bowl. I'm so glad I listened to my friend and at the same time receiving such impeccable service both of which will keep me coming for more. Too bad you aren't in the McKinney area but hey it's worth the trek.

Kayla O.

Yelp
LNya and Sy Niyah are amazing! Such good smoothies and bowls! I got the Tropical Bliss Smoothie.

Alvin J.

Yelp
Food was awesome and the presentation was really good too. Food freshness was on point.

Carnella A.

Yelp
Staff aren't wearing masks or gloves to prep food. They are taking orders and making food without sanitizing between. Love this place- not sure I'll be back any time soon. 0 stars for sanitation. 4 stars for taste

Erica E.

Yelp
I paid $10 for a smoothie that tasted like ice... no way Jose never again. On top of that it only had 4 ingredients.

Kelly D.

Yelp
Prices on menu don't match the prices you're actually charged- the bowls are supposed to include 1 topper but you're charged an extra dollar for one. They were also out of both bananas and blueberries? Strange for a place that claims to use fresh produce. We weren't told until after we ordered and paid (this isn't the first time it's happened) otherwise we would've went elsewhere.

Meagan G.

Yelp
GO HERE! We love Rush Bowls, we've been twice in three days. Ingredients are super fresh, staff will add/remove anything from your smoothie/bowl. It's just so good, I wish I could give more stars! *pictured is the berry fresh bowl

Jaime M.

Yelp
Update: The Manager contacted me and was very nice and respectful. He offered me a free 2nd trial, and I recently took him up on it. When I got to the store the owner was behind the counter. Very nice man. He recommended the Beach Bowl so I got that with added strawberries. The manager came in as I was on my way out so I got to meet him too. Just very nice people overall. Excellent customer service. Happy that I got to try it again bc I love smoothie bowls and this is a fairly convenient location for me. I highly recommend the Beach Bowl with Strawberries! Yum! Looking forward to next time. :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I ordered on DoorDash so I didn't have access to the awesome customer service that most reviewers have mentioned. That said, this review is solely for the actual smoothie, which I paid a LOT for. Looks like they charge $1 in store for extras, but $1.50 on DoorDash & UberEats. Plus all the surcharges, of course. Won't make that mistake again. All that to say I'm home sick so if the smoothie had been awesome it would have been worth it to me. I had a tough time choosing between all the options, lol! I chose the Evita smoothie w coconut milk & added in peanut butter. It's very bland. Can't taste the Acai. Not sweet. Little taste. Mostly tastes like watered down banana and coconut. Yuck. Would absolutely not order this again. The portion size is great, so if you can find one you like in store it'd be worth it. Not sure if I'll check them out again or not. Wish I'd gone with a Smoothie

Kiera W.

Yelp
I came in from out of town Minnesota. Wanted an açaí smoothie bowl. Located in Mockingbird Station. Their Destination Beach bowl was super yummy. I was afraid their serving bowl size wouldn't be filling since I'm pregnant. But these were very filling. They pack a whole bunch in them. I think the price is reasonable for the quality and serving you get. Their spoons are really fun too!! Paid less than $12 for this. If you want extra toppings like cut up strawberries, bananas or others, it's $1 each. So you spend maybe $15. The girls working there were both so sweet to me. A refresh since I'm new to the area and other areas people weren't as friendly. Like this place. Would go here again!

David B.

Yelp
I had the power bowl. It was fine. I don't plan to come back. Inside is very small/ not particularly pleasant and I wouldn't want to stay there for more than a few minutes.
