What’s a better way to start your day than with a cold, rock-hard cinnamon roll? If you ask for it warmed or, God forbid, microwaved, they’ll look at you dumbfounded. I had to put mine in the engine bay of my car for a few minutes while I drove around, that heated it up nicely.

Wonderful atmosphere, great sandwiches. Just wish they would sometimes have oatmeal raisin cookies (like they used to). Also it would be nice if the owner would smile once in a while; it would add to the vibe.

The sandwiches are well priced and very well built. They do well lakeside, are very hearty and hold up well for a hike, paddle, or bumpy off-road drive.

My favorite place for breakfast and lunch! Russell’s General Store is the best. Love the atmosphere and staff. Would highly recommend.

I don't know which is sweeter, the owner Ms. Ellen,who greets you warmly,or the delicious 😋 cinnamon buns! The hubby and I decided to take a day ride out to this quaint little old fashioned general store,after reading about it in an article on my phone. We sure are glad we did!!! The place is beautiful and the food definitely worth the hour and a half drive. We each had a delicious cup of creamy bacon potatoe soup,and a sandwich. I got the roast beef which was rare and piled on! Hubby got turkey, also very generous, we both took half home. The scenic countryside ride to get there also didn't disappoint. We will definitely be returning!!!

I come here everyday and this place is awesome. Sandwiches are to die for. Homemade soup is always tasty. Great selection of snacks and grocery items. Very nicely priced deli meats and cheese. I'll continue coming everyday for my coffee as long as yall are around. Also the employees are super nice and friendly
