"Russo’s Italian Neighborhood Ristorante & Bar opened 30 years ago in Naples, and cited the reason as continuous problems with the landlord. Owners Jack and Vikki Russo allege their lease was not renewed, and the roof remained in disrepair for 12 years while the landlord refused to fix it." - Mona Holmes

I don't live in the area, and was invited by my Father and his wife to celebrate my Birthday. All around, I was impressed. The atmosphere, food, and customer service were simply outstanding. I had a pizza, by recommendation by our waitress and that I have never had before, and it was simply superb. The drinks were made on point. The waitress was friendly and always made sure we were taken care of with a smile. it's got that neighborhood feel, atmosphere, and look with a touch of elegance about it. It's simple Italian ingredients to really make for flavorful and enjoyable meals. If you're in the area, then you have to stop in for dinner!

Great place for date night or family dinner. Prices are reasonable, staff is helpful, bread and oil is the best in town. I've had dishes i really enjoyed and some that I wouldn't eat again. My biggest fix would be all the extra cheese added to the dishes and the ceiling needs repair from a past leak.

Our favorite Italian place! For these of you who love Italian food this place can be a wonderful discovery. We ( my husband and I) are very spoiled with great Beverly Hills Italian restaurants, but this place - this local Italian spot - would be invariably our first choice if we are in the mood for Italian romantic diner. There is some very special ambiance here, combination of chick, simplicity and authenticity... little candles on the tables... Italian music on the background ... nice decorations... It's like a piece of Italy in the middle of busy California. I can tell you just one thing - the fettuccine Alfredo ( chicken) here is the best, absolutely the best in the world! And the vine collection (although is not huge) is absolutely exquisite. Very romantic and very friendly place. Thank you!

I've eaten at many fine Italian restaurants and none of them have food more delicious than Russo's! Russo's has all the basics as well as a plethora of original Italian recipes. Considering the excellent quality, flavor, and service, I find eating here an excellent value. I've been bringing my family here for more than 25 years and we love it!

My boyfriend and I visted this place August 19th at around 7:30 p.m. The place was not very busy at that time which was just fine with us. We also had no problems finding parking (they have on site parking) which isn't always the case in L.A. Place was very nice inside and our table was actually reserved. We got greeted and had water brought out immediately. I had a watermelon martini which I highly recommend by the way and the waitress left the remainder that didn't fit in the glass with me at the table in the cocktail mixer so I could fill up my glass at my discretion. Our bread was absolutely delicious, especially when used with the vinigrette. Our food came out about 15 or 20 minutes after ordering, which is probably due to the fact that we were only one of two tables there at the time. I ordered the chicken parmesan and was surprised to see that the portions we're not to big to where you can't finish, but not too small either. It also tasted fresh, not frozen like it would at a place like Olive Garden. If I had any complaints whatso ever it would be that the meal didn't come with a side salad like a lot of other italian places but that wasn't a deal breaker. We were pretty satisfied with the bread. All and all, food was great as well as the service and alcohol (hehe). Russo's gets a 5 out of 5 from me.

Pretty standard fare italian food. Nice outdoor seating when it's comfortable outside. Delicious bread/oil to start. The indoor seating smells like it's had a little too much cheese mashed into the carpet and needs a solid cleaning. With so many great (really amazing) restaurants in the area, there are much better options all over 2nd street.

My husband and I go here on a regular basis. We both love the Appetizer Naples Delight which is a crostini with pesto, shrimp, and mutsarella. They make it with Cilantro pesto and I have them change it to Basil Pesto. We also really like the Wedge Salad and they make their own Salad Dressing with plenty of Bacon on top. I love their Eggplant Parm and I think it is the best in the city. Prices are good and on Mondays there is no corkage fee. The service is excellent. We really like Megan.
