We came here before a concert on a Friday, it was pretty busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. The ambiance inside really screams reclaimed and revival, which was perfect because we were showing people not from the U.S. around Detroit and it's rebirth.
We all ordered beer and mains, and a few sides as well. The apps we're all good from the rock n rye sauced wings to the Mac and cheese and the buffalo shrimp.
The mains were a mix of burgers, salads, and tacos. The burgers were cooked to order and all very tasty. The ingredients chosen for each really complement one another and we're good sizes as well. The salads are large and filling and very green which is always nice to see, not too much dressing and some chicken with them was perfect. The tacos I did not personally try but were loved by the person that did.
The fries really weren't my thing, but I did like the onion rings, they came out fresh and lava hot.
The only downside is there is no space between the outside and the main door, so with temperatures nearing 0 whenever the door opened we got blasted with some air a good 40 feet from the door.
A live band showed up as we were leaving around 8 on a Friday night. Also, check out the bathroom sinks, pretty awesome!
