I knew it was a good decision to stop in as I entered the door. They had great music playing and I was greeted with a smile. Very chill bar with a lot of great beers on tap. I tried several different beers before ending up drinking a great stout beer. The burgers are delicious and hit the spot. I asked them to turn the OKC thunder game on for me and they had no issues with it.

Some friends and I stopped by for a night out. They'd been there before but it was my first time. I'm not a big beer drinker but have to say I was impressed by their selection. I sampled a few and really liked a berry cider one. There were only a few items on the menu and we are ordered two different style fries and they were pretty good. I highly recommend the loaded fries! It was the middle of the week and the place was packed so I figured that was a good sign. The place did not disappoint and I look forward to going back.

Don't know of a single other place you can still get a beer for less than $5 so already top notch. The food is great, quick service, love the eclectic decor & music!

Great Vibe with music and eclectic decor...Burgers were tasty and unique, my PB&J's burger flavors went well together plus add in the Altamonte Cervesa and I was a happy customer.... reasonable prices but skimpy napkins....would highly recommend!

As soon as you walk in you can feel this place's personality. The staff are friendly and offer great suggestions for drinks. The selection of variety and size makes for a great experience to try different drinks, without gutting your wallet. The Ruben Fries are fantastic as are the burgers.

Service was prompt and friendly. Never had a smash burger before but it was delicious. Burgers aren’t huge but they’re also not small, regardless the burgers are extremely satisfying. The special sauce is the bomb. Service was amazing, worth noting again because they took the time to talk to us even tho we didn’t have any drinks. Great place;)

Small corner place downtown with outdoor tables on the side street. Tons of great beer choices. Order as you come in or at the bar. Not sure if they have table service. We sat at the bat and I had a cheeseburger and tator tots with their homemade ranch dipping sauce. Both were done perfectly. We will definetly go back again. I really liked the beer I had, wish I could remember the name. But trying a new one each time us part of the fun. I think next time instead of a 16oz I'll order 3 different 6oz

This place is so much fun! My fiancé and I came here for dinner based solely on Google reviews and I’m so glad we did! The atmosphere was so quirky and fun, the food was absolutely delicious and the beer/selection of beer was great! Can’t recommend this place enough.

I've been wanting to try this place for years, and I finally pulled the trigger. Located in Downtown Fairfield, this kitchen and taproom is a great spot for some great eats and great beer! Upon entering, you'll notice all the fun decorations. For sure take some time to take a look at everything and read all the signs. You'll sure get a laugh in! Their menu is pretty straight foward. Not overwhelming and exactly what you'd expect at a kitchen and taproom. I ordered their PB&J Burger and wow!! I want to go back already!! It was a sweet and savory delicious mess! The amount of PB&J they add was not overpowering the taste of the tender, juicy meat patty. It definitely added texture and an explosion of flavor! Service was great. Staff's friendly. Food came out in a timely matter. They have a vast selection of beer from different breweries, so you may find your fave one or get to try out something you've always wanted to try! I'll for sure be back here to try more of their food, or just get the PB&J burger again!

Happened to be hungry and in the area so we did a quick search on yelp to find a lunch spot in downtown Fairfield. After deciding on Rustwater, we headed over to check em out. Ambiance is your typical bar/taproom with inside and outside seating. All wood, very rustic but very clean (which I love). Service was great! Very friendly folks working here. Very knowledgeable and funny. After checking out the menu I decided on the single cheeseburger and my son went for their peanut butter and jelly bacon burger (yea I know but wait!) and an order of their fancy fries (I think that's the name) picture in n outs animal style fries and that's essentially it but it's loaded with delicious caramelized onions and cheese in their own house made sauce. The burgers came out and my son loved his PB&J bacon burger. Said that when he orders a bacon burger that the amount of bacon on this burger was how they should come. He finished that burger and I gave it a try. The pepper jelly was great mixed with the salty/sweet peanut butter and the savory bacon. My classic single cheeseburger was equally well seasoned and dressed. Perfectly cooked to my liking. I will definitely be back! The energy and vibes here was perfect!! 10/10 will be back.

The best burger in Fairfield and it's not even close. Food at breweries and tap rooms are hit or miss but Rustwater's burgers and sandwiches are worth picking them up even when you're not coming in for their excellent rotating beer selections. Prices are super reasonable for the food and beers. There are crowler/growler options depending on availability. And most importantly, the staff is wonderful. Always warm and welcoming. Very knowledgeable on the beers. The kitchen staff is also great. For dining in, there's seating at the bar, tables inside- although it's not very much. Additional seating outside. Rustwater is a must visit and will always get my money and time.

This is a great neighborhood place. Amazing selection of beer. The food was great as always we shared a double cheese burger and tots. Loved it all. Staff is friendly and the place is very very clean. Highly recommend.

Ordered pastrami fries and chicken chiabatta sandwich. I am a wine drinker. The bartender asked what style of wine sweet or dry. She made a recommended a cider on tap and gave sample. Winner winner ordered the 8oz. Restaurant was clean. I looked for the offensive sticker posted 5 months ago by Lilia but did not see it. I have a bumper sticker for you "pray for Trump Psalm109:8".

Looking for a place with good beers and food? Come here. It's that casual, no uptight feel here. There's something for everyone here- beer selection is great! And the food comes to you hot and tastes delicious. Friendly and fast service too! I had a pineapple beer which was so good, especially on a hot day. Paired well with my burger. The tots are crispy. Take your time and watch some ball games too on the tv. I enjoyed our visit here. Would absolutely come back.

The customer service was A++ with Jess and the chef. I wouldn't normally visit this type of establishment for a couple of reasons. 1st I'm vegan and 2nd I'm not a drinker, but when my mom says she wants a burger, I Yelp the best one listed in the area and take her. Mommy LOVED it and that my friends is enough for E. . Then, not that we weren't already enjoying, the chef/proprietor made me a vegan grilled cheese . I'm so grateful. I was already going to return because mom had so much fun. Now, I'll definitely return. Treating people with care is absolutely always a win. Cheers!

Where do I begin? I have been going to Rustwater for years now! I love going there for their burger, fries, and beers of course. This place is such a vibe, I always bring different friends here and they always enjoy it! This spot is a gem and is definitely one of me and my husbands go to spots in Fairfield. I will say, I feel like they changed the recipe on how they make their burgers compared to when I first tried it years ago. I was a bit sad about it but it's still a solid burger nonetheless!!!

stopped in for a drink and a friend insisted we had to try the PB & J burger. So we split it and so glad that we did! It is an interesting combo I would've never tried otherwise. A plus that it came out super quick Fun little casual spot with lots on tap to try. Family friendly is a definite plus

Cool place to hangout. Tasty burgers at a good price. Try the PB & J burger. Perfectly balanced and a local favorite. Tons of draft beers and canned micros. This place doesn't disappoint. Played some updated trivia games at the evening too. Bartenders are cool and attentive. Coming back for that PB&J with tots!

Went here for a night with my husband. The food was amazing. We got 2 burgers, 2 fries, and I ordered the guava cider 12 oz which came to about $70. The drink was really good. They got the food out quickly and served us where we were sitting. They also cleared our food which was nice. This was an upscale bar but allowed for my husband and I to have a date night due to the patio seating. Everyone was very friendly. Would come back again with friends for the food and drinks.

Been awhile since I was able to get into the place -- bad news about good places is they get very busy! lol But that's great for their business and I'm happy to see it. Good to see the bar food and drinks are still good and no lowering of standards there. Same great, friendly staff. Always a pleasure.

Driving through town and found this GEM! Loved the decorations and vibe of the place. Burgers were next level. If I lived here, I'd eat here on the weekly. Great selection of beers. Sincerely appreciate that they disclosed the use of peanut oil to fry as I have an allergy. Service and staff were super friendly and service was incredibly fast! Cheers!

We were staying nearby and decided to try this place. it absolutely did not disappoint! The ambience was super cool, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious! If I am back in that area for any reason, this will be a place that i would absolutely stop at again!

Way too much fun here!! Came here on a Friday evening for a moms night and the service was more than amazing!! Shout out to David & Jaimie!! If you're looking for a laid back, chill yet colorful, upbeat & friendly vibe, look no further. I'm not much of a beer person but the ones we had were literally delicious!! The people were extremely friendly. The food was food. It was good, but not something that I would go out of my way to come back for. Overall, it was OK. Kind of getting sick of every bar playing different trivia games....

Burgers are top tier. All the staff are friendly and Chef comes out to check on everyone's meal. Place is clean which shows they all care.

Recently moved to Fairfield and haven't found many places that accommodate vegans--I'm not vegan, but my wife is due to dietary restrictions--so I was happy to discover this place. Awesome beer menu, and it's somewhere I can go with my wife where we can both enjoy the food. I I also wanted to highlight their great service. The people behind the bar were nice as one would expect, but the guy working the kitchen went above and beyond. I had placed the order in a weird way that was confusing. Noticing that one burger was vegan, he came out to our table to make sure that he understood the order so that he could ensure it was fully vegan. I also saw some the same guy being extra helpful to a table next to us with their order. Didn't get the name, but thought his attentiveness was super impressive. We'll be back for sure.

Order a regular cheese burger and veggie burger. They both were very good. The meat was nice and juicy. I would consider changing the the bun. It slides when you bite down. You have to order food, beer, and water and everything else needed before you sit down. Server was fast and cool, but wish they could have offered a taste of beer I was so indecisive. They have both indoor outdoor (patio) seating. Table comes with condiments f some kind of hot sauce/bbq sauce stuff (not the best) As for the decor it's alot going on yout local dive bar mixed with woods and metal a backyard bbq feel for sure.

A co-worker recommended this place for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised. Wonderful ambiance with old cars and bikes used to decorate the interior. The menu was small, but each entry was tempting. I went with the PB&J burger. If you've never had a burger with peanut butter and you think it sounds crazy, well it is, and it's surprisingly delicious. I had one years ago in Mississippi, so it wasn't a new experience, but it was great to have it again. This iteration of it was very good, with the only complaint being that there may have been a little too much PB on it. I felt a bit overpowered at the end. But it was good nonetheless. Also had some tots that I would recomas well. The other burgers and food items I saw go out looked great as well. Be it we were on a work lunch break, we didn't sample anybody the beers. The selection looked great, though, and I look forward to trying some in the future along with some other menu items. Check this place out!

Always swift service & friendly bartenders, this is one of my favorite local spots to go to! If you're looking for a nice & chill spot with great service & food - this place is highly recommended!

Yummy!! Loved the PB&J Burger! I am picky about my burger and this was delicious! Good meat. smash burger style. So good. And all the staff is friendly and helpful. Super fast food to the table. I had the chicken ciabatta and hubs had pb&j burger - you won't find a better value more delicious than this place. Service was fast- this is the only place in Fairfield I'll drive from Vacaville for Well done

I really loved the place . There decorations of old stuff Is very nostalgic it's like a cute goodwill store with great antiques. The service was good as there wernt many people when we arrived before 4pm. The food was great I ordered pastrami burger with tots. My friend ordered pb&j burger. I actually enjoyed the pb&j more. There beer menu is great from lagers to stouts and ipa s . If your a beer drinker this is the place for you.

I was greeted immediately as soon as I walked in. The gal who took my order said it would be ready in 10 minutes when in fact it took less. The burger is steam hot which definitely means it was made to order. The 1st bite is awesome, the only complaint is that it is too small for me (ha ha!) Love the decorations of the place. Road signs, traffic lights, old gas pumps ! This place is a repeat for me without a doubt.

I have been here a handful of times and always have a nice experience. Everyone I've encountered are always nice and check on you. My last visit I sat at the bar during lunch time but they do have other indoor and outdoor patio seating. Tons of good beer to choose from and food menu as well. I was there on a Thursday evening a couple of weeks ago. It was my 4th time visiting, as I really have liked their food. This time was a bit different. First of all, it was so loud in there. I know it's a taproom, so it's not a quiet place, but when I couldn't hear the person sitting across the table from me, that was too much. The table next to us was very loud. On to the food. I have always had decent hamburgers, and their tater tots are really good! I still loved the tater tots, but my hamburger was cold. I will for sure come back again, because all my other visits were perfectly fine. The service is fantastic.

Our first visit. The atmosphere was energizing and food was remarkably tasty. We sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine while savoring every bite. The classic cheeseburger with tater tots and mom's Don't Go Bacon My Heart burger with fries were delicious. Non-alcoholic beers were a wonderful surprise!

Recently visited this place to grab a sour beer and some food. They had a wide variety of beers (30 beers and ciders on tap and a beer fridge with more bottled/canned options). The staff is super friendly and attentive. Fun atmosphere and delicious food. I had the pastrami burger and it was delicious. They also have a PB&J burger which I will have to try next time but I got multiple recommendations that it's also delicious. I recommend giving this spot a try!

Large selection of beers (20+ draft and more cans in the fridge) and some ciders. It can be overwhelming so many options there are. Food options are more limited to burgers. But damn the burgers are good. You can taste how fresh they are. The food came out super fast. Cute outdoor seating. Order at the bar. Kitchen officially opens 30 minutes after the bar opens. But my experience has it's been a little earlier. The bartenders have always been really friendly and service is spectacular. They check up on you a good amount. Free samples of the beers you're interested in. I had the ace perry apple cider and the peach cider. Had the regular cheeseburger with Swiss, a side of tater tots, and on a different occasion had the PB&J burger. I enjoyed everything that I've tasted so far. Everything was fantastic! I highly recommend Rustwater for anyone in the area that loves beer and burgers. What a gem.

Went here with a friend last night and I was impressed. Excellent tap list, great beers, chill atmosphere and the food was excellent. Simple menu of burgers, made well and service was fast. I can't wait to go back her again. I had the PB and Jelly burger, sounded weird yet the combination was amazing!

Great beer selection, clean restaurant and friendly staff. We had a Pastrami Burger and a Bacon Artichoke Dip Burger and fries, both excellent.

Saturday night is jackbox night and it's so much fun! I got the PB&J burger which I was hesitant about but I was PLEASANTLY surprised. Whoever came up with that is a GENIUS! They have a variety of drinks on tap and the staff is super friendly. The downside is that there isn't a lot of indoor seating; the tables are mostly six top tables so you'll have to be comfortable talking to and approaching strangers unless you're in a group. There are like 3 or 4 outdoor tables which is nice unless it's a chilly evening; they would benefit from having heaters! Overall the good out weights the bad and will come back in the future!!

The chicken sandwich was eatable but that's it. The fries were good and so was the #21 beer. But I was appalled at your sign on the wall that said "F..k Trump". I will never return to your joint.

Food came out Fast! Loved the chicken sandwich and messy fries. My boys said burgers ere average. Bathroom needed a deep clean but I would still go back for that chicken sandwich.

Took a chance on this quaint place off the beat and path. Food was amazing, portions plentful and the staff was very friendly and the Beer on tap had plenty of choices. The eclectic style was so fun to look at. You can find all sorts of cool things to look at.

The corner location allows for windows on two of four walls. This gives natural light so you aren't sitting in a dark-bar. Order as you enter with the hostess bartender, from the large chalkboard menu. Reasonably priced, double burger with bacon & American cheese $14, fries $4, house-salad with balsamic $4. Burger arrived with a knife, as we were sharing. Suggest the single vs double. I also had one pint of beer # 6, which was a light Pilsner-Lager, European, I believe. Was light, cold, nice to have with ice-water. Like the self-service water soda ice machine. I found this restaurant via Yelp. It' was a great experience, as the food was excellent, reasonably priced and nice atmosphere between the setting & service. Recommend attend. Had a classic burger and a pbj burger and split tots. Food came out quickly and looked amazing! Classic burger with their bbq sauce was delicious. My burger was cooked correctly, veggies were fresh and crisp. Friend had pbj burger and he really like it! Tots were perfectly fried- Super crispy but soft on the inside but not oily. Price point is amazing. $9 for a good burger? Yes please! I believe tots were $3 or $4 and easily split between two people. Overall, go hungry and thirsty. The place is casual and laid back, food is good and just go enjoy yourself! Def will be back , thank you Jessie for telling me about your Tuesday job!

Super casual, kid friendly, tons of beer on tap. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and just noticed they are dog friendly as well. They have a delicious food menu that is reasonably priced. I've had the pastrami burger in the past, which was great, but just recently tried their PB&J burger which was bomb! Highly recommend! Staff is great and service for food was super quick!

Decided to take a day trip to Fairfield and tried Rustwater. Great place, friendly knowledgeable servers, reasonable price for a delicious grilled chicken sandwich and 16oz Pilsner. Whole tab plus tip was under $20 one person. Nice fenced-in outdoor seating on a beautiful warm summer day for Buddy and me. I'm easy to please in the beer department--'Give me your lightest lager or liveliest Pilsner,' but their entire beer offerings are astronomical. If you decide to take a day trip to Fairfield, I definitely recommend you enjoy this place.

Huge draft and canned beer selection. But the best part might be the food. When a spot only does a limited food menu you know what's on the menu is going to be executed very well. This place is no exception. Friendly staff. Chill spot with tvs to watch the game. Will be back for sure.

I was very impressed w/ there PB&J Burger that they seem to charge double for out in the Valley where I'm from for less quality as well and I had 2drinks of the #3 drink option on the menu which is a 2 Towns Mango Cider on draft. Would highly recommend visiting this place if you happen to stay or drive nearby, was very worth the visit!!!

Walked in after driving down in the pouring rain from Redding with a full trailer of furniture moving our son. We were met by Ryan who was very welcoming and friendly. Beer selection was awesome! Followed up by amazing hamburgers and the most reasonably priced menu I've seen in a long time. Inside is a beer lovers dream with rustic and eclectic beer signage and the most amazing copper light structure! I can't recommend Rustwater kitchen, highly enough!! The bright spot to our day for sure!!

I was craving a burger and fries and went here for dinner with my fiancé. The place is very vibrant, welcoming, and lively. They play music and are LGBTQ+ friendly. There are cool signs and different items decorated around the space. Camille helped serve us and she was very helpful and patient when I ordered. She gave recs and offered me to dry different drinks before I committed to one. The other servers were also very nice. We got our drinks first - pomegranate hard cider and an IPA. For food, I ordered a cheeseburger with cheddar cheese and French fries. My fiancé got the PB&J burger and a side salad with Italian vinaigrette. The food came out quickly and was so delicious. The burgers have a smash patty and are a decent size, not super thin. I preferred the regular cheeseburger over the PB&J burger. They also gave me a side of their special sauce and ranch, which I asked for. The table also has some ketchup, mustard, and hot sauce. My burger craving was definitely satisfied. I would revisit.
