I visited Rusty Bull Brewery for the Ryan Griffin concert, which was a part of the Nashville Hot Country Concert series hosted by Kickin' 92.5.
The concert was a great deal, because tickets were only $8 in advance ($12 at the door), which included one beer. Since the brewery hosted the concert, the atmosphere was a fairly intimate, with a small stage and seats for everyone.
I'm thankful indoor live music is back in 2022, because I missed it during 2020 and 2021 when most things were outdoors and socially distanced. We had a sudden rain downpour during the concert, so I was glad to be inside.
I tried two beers. The Saltwater Cerveza came with my concert ticket. It was not my favorite, but any free beer is a good beer. The Berry Stomp beer was more my style, and I would order it again. I usually go for sour beers, and while it was not a sour, I can see other sour lovers enjoying it.
For food, I tried the soft pretzels, which were delicious. The appetizers offered are carb-y for soaking up the beer and very traditional- wings, pretzels, fries, tots. They also offer burgers, chicken sandwiches, and hot dogs. The prices are very fair, especially since most surrounding restaurants are chains/franchises. Rusty Bull offers a Beyond Burger for vegetarians too.
The Kickin 92.5 DJs (Hunter, Kush, Jessica, and Brian) did a great job keeping the audience entertained while we waited on Ryan to perform and singing karaoke to one of the songs. The Rusty Bull staff was also wonderful. Even with a packed venue, no one had to wait long for a beer, and they kept the dishes/glasses cleared from the tables.
The brewery is located just behind Chucktown Axe Throwing, so if you're throwing axes, you can order food and drinks from here.
