Rusty Taco

Very good! We were visiting from out of town and wanted some nachos after the game, perfect spot! Open late, not too busy, easily accessible, and reasonably priced. I had the brisket nachos and my husband had the steak bowl, both were very flavorful and did not disappoint!

I paid over $6 for this. It was supposed to be brisket for the meat, with pico, cilantro, cheese, and I wanted some sauteed, veggies. I got the order from the expeditor I was missing some stuff on it. She told me it comes like that. I didn't feel like going back and forth with her. I just said I'm not going there any more. This was the worst eating experience in Dallas.

R Taco never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, with authentic flavors that never waver—it’s always the same amazing quality every time I visit. It was amazing! Haven't been in a couple years but it was just as delicious if not better than I remember. As expected the prices went up but not as much I thought they would've. Got 2 fish tacos and chips and queso and a drink for just over $12 Definitely will be returning much more often. Maybe make it a weekly stop from now on! 10/10 ⭐

My favorite it was a bad day. I so love this place the cure Hispanic white guy at the registrar was so awesome. I love them all the manager is 5 star, the front of the business is so beautiful in service 😍😍😍😍😍. The team is all wonderful.

Rusty's has been a regular spot for a long time but they have really upped their veggie tacos. Both the cauliflower and the black with veggie chorizo are delicous. The staff has always been friendly, especially to my puppy. Great outdoor (dog friendly) seating.

Rusty Taco catered our office lunch today. I had the pleasure of trying the shrimp taco. Super yum!!! I don't recall the salsa but can distinguish by color. The red salsa is very good but my fave is the orange sauce. It IS spicy! My tongue was burning from the first bite but it was so good I couldn't stop dousing it on my tacos. Also loved the rice dish. I wish I was a meat eater coz the steak looked tender and juicy. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area to try other menu items.

Always hits! The habanero salsa is one of the best hot sauce in town! Margaritas are strong af and cheap. I love ordering online for pickup, but service is great either way. Feels like hometown homemade food and environment. Personally my fav taco is fried chicken followed by the Philly steak. Try the mango margaritas, you're welcome

Great veggie tacos. Would get again. We got veggie and black bean tacos. They tacoed so hard.

Birria tacos were the best!!! And their queso is bomb, so good. Definitely coming back

I ordered a bowl from Rusty Taco and it was OK, the portion size was pretty small and not much protein was given. I have yet to try the tacos but was not crazy about the bowl. There is plenty of seating inside and parking behind and in front of the restaurant.

I recently discovered the "bowl" options at Rusty Taco. The staff is very accommodating. I ordered the Picadillo Bowl and it was delicious! The flavors were fresh. I find myself craving a Rusty Taco Bowl! Try it! You'll be glad you did!

Great tacos and great customer service cashier was very nice and very helpful so was the worker who handed me my tacos I do recommend this place and they have great margaritas for great price.

My husband and I always pass this place and have wondered about it, but just have never had the opportunity to stop. This location is a converted old gas station so it is industrial inside and has some seating, but has additional seating outside. Upon entering, we were greeted by the nicest human. He asked if we had been before and we said no. He started telling us about the food options and gave great recommendations. Get the chips and queso, for sure. Queso is perfection here. I got two different shrimp tacos, one dynamite and one grilled shrimp. Tortillas are huge and you can choose from corn or flour. I believe they are 6 inches. They claim street tacos, but think double the size! Husband tried picadillo and roasted pork. He preferred the picadillo. It was hard to finish everything, so make sure you're hungry when you go and try not to order the whole menu. Seems like they always add different "special tacos" periodically, also. Will definitely return.

I have to rave about the service we just received. Brittany and the AM team were so sweet. We ordered fish tacos at 10a so they let us know it wiuld take some time. They gave us chips and queso while we waited and were so kind about everything. A great start to the morning and I hope everyone experiences such good service and good food

Front line needs trained for customer service, ordered 4 hard shell tacos and didn't find out they don't even sale hard shells until after the food was completed and took it back up for a correction they couldn't possibly do. Smallest 3.50 salsa in the world. But here is the good, my tacos would have been good had they been on the flour tortillas I asked for, but she thought it was easier on the corn‍ If you drink alcohol, no worries you can get drunk before you eat and you'll never know the difference.

Literally my favorite place of all time. Fried chicken taco and a margarita - You won't regret it. Truly, the best taco shop you will ever visit. Great environment, better people. Proud to call this place my 2nd home, although most of the time I wish it was truly my home!

Ive been enjoying this place for years! Rusty Taco is a great value for delicious tacos! I also love their chips and queso. The staff is super friendly and the environment is fun and relaxed. They also do a great job with catering and large orders. This is my go to spot when I order meals for work.

My husband and I have been to almost every rusty taco location ( don't judge!) and this is by far our favorite! The service and tacos are ON POINT. The venue itself is super cute with plenty of areas to eat inside or outside- we chose inside due to how hot it was. The #5 brisket tacos and the team fav taco are my absolute favorites! My husband's go to is always the crispy shrimp tacos. And of course, on the side the queso and chips! Highly highly suggest!

I asked the cashier what she recommends and she said, "I don't know I don't eat here." 18 dollars later for 3 tacos, I understand why she doesn't eat there... dry meat, covered in clumps of cheese, uncooked onions... just not good food. Service was alright.

A supreme waste of time and money. Tacos were barely filled, margarita was flavorless (except the aftertaste of cheap tequila). I got the fried chicken taco... well it was more like dried chicken, completely inedible. I have a rumbly in my tumbly and I'm pretty sure it's from the chorizo and egg. to top things off, the woman taking my order could not have been any kesss interested in helping me pick great food for my first time in the restaurant. I KNEW there was a reason I wasn't rushing to check this place out and I hate that I was so right. Velvet Tacos gentrified gastronomy is literally next door and ive never come close to being disappointed with anything they serve. Take notes, Rusty.

Rusty's Taco is always delicious! They never disappoint. We enjoy the breakfast tacos, steak and chicken fajitas, grilled fish tacos, Rusty tacos to name a few. Tonight, I had the fried chicken taco for the first time to try something different. It was really good too. Thank you, Rusty's taco for being awesome!

The TexMex food here is delish! My favs are tacos and a side of black beans. The employees and manager are so friendly and helpful.

Excellent breakfast tacos! Pick up is always super easy and quick. Lots of parking out front and employees are always very friendly.

Online it says the half gallon is $11 but at the store it is $25. anywho the tacos are good and the margs do taste rlly good.

Rusty Taco always has great service at the Greenville & University location. They typically remember me & my preferences. The food is always well prepared & the store is always clean.

I love Rusty Taco they have The Best queso and fresh chips in DFW. I would have given them 5 stars but they changed the way they make the Uptown taco and don't have crispy shell in it anymore so it cost them a star

Twas an amazing experience! We ended up w/ 7 tacos all on corn. Would strongly recommend their the BBQ brisket. Second runner up would have to be the Rusty Taco! 7 tacos all for under $35 including tip? Sounds good to me! Their margs are also good!

The service is amazing. The Cashier is a 19-year-old dude that goes to college really polite. I feel like family every time I come in.

Amazing 5-star service today! I ordered 50 breakfast tacos for a work-event, and from the moment I placed the order through pick-up, the Rusty Taco team came through for me. The tacos were ready on time, individually packaged with labels, and served in convenient trays. Salsas we're also individually packaged and organized by spice level. Their efforts made my set-up a breeze! The tacos were very good! We had a combo of the various breakfast flavors in both corn and flour tortillas. All were tasty, but the favorite was bacon, egg, and cheese followed by the potato, egg, and cheese.

Gotta try the orange salsa and any of the tacos are super good. This is my goto taco place. Has a bbq with the family type of atmosphere

Pretty average taco place was not impressed with tacos steak tasted frozen and chicken had way too much condiments. Customer service was good but I would not come back due to taste of tacos.

Service helps make this place better than I think it really is. I actually came here specifically for the queso and was disappointed to know that it was sold out (which is actually a good thing because I know now that it is that good and that I need to come earlier in the day to get a chance to try it). So instead I ordered guacamole and chips, elote (Mexican corn in a cup), 1 street taco (brisket) and 1 taco of the month (surf n turf-brisket and fried shrimp with bbq sauce). Guacamole was a complete fail. It was so bland it tasted like plain avocado with no seasoning no onions or tomato's...just nothing. I also did not care for the surf n turf taco it was just too much going on but I would definitely say try it if you're not into street tacos anyways. I think if I would have done grill shrimp it may have been better. Now the elote and the street taco was bomb! I wish there were size options for the elote it was so good and flavorful and it's hard to come by some good elote. And the street taco almost gave me authentic taco vibes. I'd come back to try street tacos again and grab some queso and again service was great. Service was good but birria tacos were so bad!! They need more seasoning, salsa, lime juice and perhaps better meat than the brisket meat. They may look delicious, but I was shocked that my $15 tacos were so bland and tasted like nothing. Waste of time, money, and high hopes.

The Philly taco was top notch! I also got the Baja taco and chicken fajita taco. Both were pretty good and great value. Overall, tacos are as good or better than Torchy's or Velvet. However, the interior dining experience was not as fancy as Torchy's or Velvet. This may be in part that this restaurant appears to be a gas station that was converted into a restaurant. Definitely plan to come back. Locals seem to take advantage of the to go option and/or patio dining on a sunny day.

The food was cold. How do you wait on fresh food and the food still end up being cold. The cook was very rude. Ask for rice and was given half a scoop but was changed full price. Had to request more rice. The reviews did not match the quality of service advertised. Dear Rusty Taco - Please do better. The street corn was also super water. Why would you pour off the water from the corn before loading it up was mediocre seasoning. The tacos were subpar- only thing good about this place is the queso. I had high hopes but left so disappointed. Lily was cool as hell. She needs to find a different job because this place isn't it.

It's been a minute since we've ordered and the food is still as good as I remember. Good value for the quality and they followed my picky request for no extra cilantro.

ordered chips + salsa with my tacos in curbside. when i got home the salsa was in bag but no chips!! now i have to make another unnecessary trip back to the restaurant for their ineptness!! :( this is not the 1st time things have been left out of my previous orders!! the food is very good but failure to include stuff that i paid for is utterly unacceptable!! :(
