51 Reopened LA Bars You Can Drink At Today

"Santa Monica’s The Craftsman has reopened their dining room and streetside patio. They’re requiring masks, and have a bunch of other rules in place you can read about on their website. Open 5pm-12am most days, but check their Instagram for the latest hours." - brett keating

Where To Meet Someone Who Isn’t An Actor

"The Craftsman is uncomfortably close to the Third Street Promenade, but don’t let that turn you off. Their crowd is less tourists and more people who actually live in the neighborhood, stopping in for the daily Happy Hour and the live music on weekends. Order some excellent tater tots, and hang out near the shuffleboard table to find someone as committed to that game as you are." - brett keating

You walk-in, look through the menu, and then go place your order. The atmosphere was nice. Food: shrimp cocktail was a 3 out of 5. It was too small for the price, the flavor was just okay, Not worth the $$. Tacos: 3 out of 5, they were just okay. Calamari: was good but chewy, 4 out of 5. Steak and potato, good 4 out of 5. Fried shrimp: 5 out of 5. The shrimp was the best compared to the other meals. Salad was good,

While strolling along the pier, I was drawn to this appealing restaurant. The sounds of laughter and singing emanating from the place piqued my interest. The enticing smell of fried seafood sealed the deal. I ordered the coconut shrimp, fried calamari and onion rings. This might have been the best coconut shrimp I've ever had - succulent, sweet, and well-seasoned. I was thoroughly impressed. The calamari was tender and had a great breading. I highly recommend it.

Food was great, kalamari and shrimp was yummy. I wish the salmon was a soft cut and a bit bigger. Chicken sandwich was wonderful and juicy. Fries here are good and crispy. Overall not bad just wish it was more cleaner.

We stopped by for lunch and what a pleasant surprise. Bring your appetite when you come here. We all enjoyed our lunches and believe it or not finished it all. The Fish and Chips filled up a 20 year old UCLA student, the Shrimp and Chips had really large shrimp. I got the Caesar Salad with grilled Salmon. I requested not to overcook the fish and it was cooked to perfection. My only complaint is that some of the Romaine was brown and slimy, and it was swimming in dressing. My bad, I should have got it on the side. The salmon more than made up for it. Also, the music was excessively loud making it difficult to talk. I would come back, a decent value for the quality and quantity. Stop on by ; )

We sat outside n were able to enjoy the view of the Pier. Surf n turf was well seasoned. Shrimp was delicious. Fries were warm n tasty. Hamburger patty needed a little more seasoning. You order at entrance and table service is not offered once food is delivered.

Came here for the first time while visiting Santa Monica on a Thursday evening. Was a refreshing experience to order at the cashier before sitting down. We ordered the seafood pasta and it was absolutely delicious and just the perfect size. The seafood was well made and tasted fresh. They even had a live DJ which really added to the ambience. The service was very friendly and we would definitely come back. Highly recommend this restaurant for a bite to eat.

All of the food was AMAZING! We had the muscles/clams, a burger, and the salmon with salad & potatoes. Super friendly staff, fast service, and great atmosphere! Would absolutely ear here again & 100% recommend.
