The Food: This place has been bookmarked for a bit and was so glad we finally get to dine here on a Thursday night with no wait! A ceviche bar?? Sure! They bring out a good selection of hot sauces that compliment almost every plate. The habanero was my favorite! The plates we ordered were all good and appetizing! What we ordered: - Aguachile Ruta 15 $24 - Tostada Buchona $18 - Mico Taco de Canasta Chilangos $15 - Pulpo Zarandeado $35 - 1/2 Dozen Oysters $18 - 1/2 Dozen Scallops $18 - Candy Shots $22 - Mojito/Maracuya $13 - Rum Chata $13 - R15 Michelada $18 - Coctel Campechano $26 The Service: We were greeted right away and felt comfortable and welcomed. The Atmosphere: Love the setup and decor. They have a list of popular Mexican destinations on the wall, which got us reminiscing about which areas we have been to and gave us an idea of where to go next. The vibe was chill and not too loud. Overall: Overall, the place was a good pick to go to if you’re feeling like seafood, and Agua Chile. The only improvement that I could think of is if they had a larger selection of mixed drinks or cocktails. They did have a good list of margaritas. It would be nice if the drinks got mixed up a little bit. Parking: Free street parking. Can be difficult to find especially in that part of Long Beach. Total Cost: $243.10 +tip for 4pp Follow and Subscribe for more food and travel content! YT @RoseAndWorld7 IG @RoseAndWorld7

We had seen this advertised on IG, my wife and I finally got to visit it on a Sunday afternoon, and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly, the place was nice and clean, but what topped the evening was the food, the food was really good and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back!

Google
Food was really good. We order 3 different plates to try. I didnt really like the plate of tacos de canasta. The other 2 plates were so delicious would recommend. The sauces were really good as well. Price for everything was about a little more than 100 dollars but worth it.

Be prepared for a fantastic surprise. What seems to be another little place in 7th St Long Beach turns into, by far, the best seafood culinary experience in the West US. The menu is an absolute master piece of concept, diversity and selection of dishes and ingredients of the real tradicional Mexican gastronomy, the physical restaurant takes care of every little detail, in the way that only the best in the Mexican food industry, leader in the world, now how to do, but the flavors when you try their entrees are what are going to make you dream. They have a masterful handling of every ingredient and their final products are nothing else but espectacular, denoting international chef-level kitchen skills. All this with a beautiful service and the absolute cleanliness that characterizes the Mexican restaurants. Do not think, just try it, you’ll be amazed like me.

Google
Went there for a family dinner and were a little skeptical about the food to be honest. But oh my what a surprise! The atmosphere was just perfect and the food was more than scrumptious. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the ingredients were very fresh not to mention the meat was à point". Everything from the appetizers to the desserts (capirotada and freshly made churros) were just a delish! We will definitely go back to enjoy it again that is for sure!. Thank you so much for your culinary choice and for giving us a very pleasant gastronomic experience.

Google
We had an exceptional time here at this newly opened restaurant. Since we are vegetarians, they were able to accommodate us. We ordered the mushroom ceviche and potato tacos without the meat. Both the meals were amazing filled with flavour bursting in our mouths. We will definitely be back.

Google
Very good food, 1st time here, I saw the Instagram page and had to check it out. I had the pulpo zarandeado which was perfectly cooked and served. My wife had Discada de Mariscos, my son had shrimp tacos, and I added the 6 shooters of mixed seafood, shrimp tostada ceviche, and lastly chicharron guacamole, whew. Very delicious, my wife is very picky as she's from coastal Sonora and rarely likes seafood restaurants. This is the 2nd one in a row she loves!

I can’t begin to explain the flavors. Amazing! and the presentation, beautiful. The service was so spot on. The pictures say it all

Yelp
The place is so pretty and the ambience is nice. If you sit by the window the street gets a little noisy. Wasn't sure if they only offered valet so I parked in a lot next door. The salsa for the table was the blandest thing there but once we added salt it tasted good The ceviche we got was so tasty and literally by just that I would come back to try the others. The carne asada plate was good too but something I would avoid next time and focus on the sea food :) I mean it is a ceviche bar.

Yelp
My first visit to Ruta 15 was to try out their soft shelled crab taco for Long Beach Food Scene week. I was honestly a little hesitant shelling out that much money for a taco, but it was soft shell crab and I kept hearing great things about it. The inside of the restaurant is very cute! There are two seating areas, one by the bar full of high-tops and a few booths in a second area back towards the kitchen. They bring complimentary tostadas to the table as a starter and that green one? Literally stopped me in my tracks. I had to ask the server what it was, because I'd never had a tostada like it. Cactus. So good! When the "taco" came out it was huge. I've never had to eat a taco with a knife and fork before, but I didn't see any other way around this one. The crab was crispy and flavorful, the other toppings complemented without overpowering. It was as good as everyone had said. I went for a weekday lunch and had no trouble parking. They do offer valet on the weekends when it is busier. Overall, a great first experience.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place down the street from my home but the Food was too overpriced for such a lack in flavor and quality (4/10)service was what ever (4/10) But what really has me giving this review a one star was the fact that they had the nerve to rope you in with yhe "guacamole y chicharron" it's worded as if you're gonna get that juicy and crunchy pork belly bite, but no they brought me out an overpriced 18$ plate of guacamole with pre package pork grinds and the weakest slice of pork belly. Overall I wouldn't recommend coming here
google avatar

Yelp
Highly recommend. The staff is very good and amicable. The eight was not long the ambiance is nice. We had a very good experience and we will be back

Yelp
Came here for happy hour on a weekday and it wasn't busy. I got incredibly lucky with parking and found a spot right in front of the restaurant. However, it's street parking only and may be really difficult to find spots especially on a busy main street. Service was friendly and the space was clean and well decorated. From the happy hour menu, my friend and I ordered the traditional shrimp ceviche and mini tacos de canasta chilangos. The mini tacos were decent and the ceviche was a tad too spicy for me. Off the regular menu, we ordered the Cocacho Relleno and all the flavors came together so well. Presentation was also on point and wasn't as spicy as the traditional ceviche. We over ordered so could have done with the shrimp ceviche.

Yelp
Impossible to find parking. Not in the best area...trash all over the street across and lots of houseless folks and people talking to themselves walking by the huge open windows that look out into a main street. Inside is cute. Overall the food is good. Pretty good quality and a lot of interesting variety. They try to make everything a bit more upscale presentation wise. That being said... I would say the flavors are there bit toned down. We had the tacos ahogado and the ruta 15 aguachiles. The salsa that the tacos ahogado sauce was very mild... almost like pupusa salsa...just watery tomato. We tried the ruta 15 aguachiles because it was recommended and we wanted to try something a bit different. It was not spicy at all which you expect from aguachiles. There was mayo it in which really threw me off. The chicharrón in it didn't pair well. Also there was maybe only 5 silvers of onion in the whole thing. Mostly sliced cucumber. The tostadas themselves were really good. The flavor reminded me of Mexico. They gave us salsa macha and salsa habanero when I asked for spicy salsa. The macha had good flavor but wasn't spicy and the habanero didn't have much flavor and was spicy but not really. Cucumber jalapeno margarita was ok. Didn't taste much jalapeno. Not too sweet which was appreciated. The colorín colorado dessert was yummy. The ice creams were spinach/mint/avocado, beet/raspberry and rompope. The ice creams were really good but the pan de elote was a bit hard and chewy. I would probably be back if I lived close or for happy hour but I wouldn't come back if I was craving ceviche or aguachiles.

Yelp
They put a fried pito on my taco and I just had to put it on the plate to show you guys it had girth and length I was not happy

Yelp
I checked the reviews on Yelp and glanced at a few pics before stopping by on May 22 to celebrate my birthday and based on the reviews I had every intention of throwing down on some fantastic Mexican food. The restaurant is located on an extremely busy street where the parking is difficult to say the least but we found a spot in front. You walk into an eclectic clean restaurant with attentive and kind staff very welcoming. My daughter and I order drinks my drink was delicious but my daughter didn't care for hers a jalapeno cucumber margarita I tried it and it was ok to me I drank hers and mine and got a little buzz that made me smile. Lol 10/10 They didn't have chips and salsa as we see in most Mexican restaurants but he was kind enough to bring us fried tortillas and a "salsa" of sorts it was ok and we appreciated the thought. My daughter didn't find anything she could eat on the menu she's vegan and wanted a drink along with chips and salsa. My plate arrive and I see white sauce and shrimp in a sauce that doesn't look appetizing I taste the shrimp and the sauce(s) and it's an immediate no the shrimp taste fishy I felt bad because what I felt immediately showed on my face and the waiter saw that but what could I do but be truthful without being too unkind unfortunately the shrimp was very fishy. They don't have refried beans or Mexican rice so I went with what they had carrots and green cilantro rice. ( see the pictures) To be fair the shrimp wasn't fresh and the sauces just weren't my cup of tea so for that my review is just for the dish shrimp and sauces. 0/20 Carrots 8/10 were good and the rice 6/10 was ok just not something I would order again. Suffice to say I'm sure I won't be back it's just that I didn't truly realize what type of Mexican food they served I saw so many restaurants on Yelp that day and chose the wrong spot this one is definitely not traditional. My final thoughts. The restaurant has great reviews awesome service it's clean and well cared for I just did not like the food I ordered that's it. We paid the bill and left a tip on the table. Don't take my experience as the norm please visit try the food and form your own opinion we live in times where people will bend the truth to not hurt feelings but I cannot in good faith do that when people are spending their hard earned money. Try for yourselves the reviews say that this restaurant is very good and the pics do look good. Until next time. Just me Shawn C.

Yelp
The restaurant itself is very cozy. It stop has a bit of the street vibe to it. Not overly pretentious, not a dump either. The staff is very efficient. The young lady at the register recommended the French dip and man was it killer! I also got the Birria Platter and while the meat, beans and rice were all excellent, the tortillas were problematic. They were thick and very raw. They simply didn't hold up and were difficult to eat. I'm looking forward to going back. The flakes were snappy spot on! Juicy meat, fishery and not overly cooked. It was very tasty.

Yelp
Staff was incredibly welcoming, everyone attending to us not just our server. Food was delicious, fresh and everything tastes authentic and made in house. Michelada was just right. Ordered: Colichi style shrimp: came hot in a fresh green sauce with melted cheese over rice and carrots. Sauce was addicting, very light. Ruta 15 agua chile: my favorite, fresh and filling exactly what I was craving Chicharrón with guacamole is also a favorite, they put a fat hunk of fresh chicharrón on top of the guacamole and it has chunks of queso mixed in

Yelp
Wow!! The food taste as fantastic as it looks and the drinks were fun and delicious. Parking is hard but they have valet. I am coming back with friends and family

Yelp
My gf fwd me a post from this place for me to check out cause I live in LBC, saw some great dishes on the menu so, checked it out was very happily surprised at the extent of their customer service to my picky order absolutely coming back!!! My shrimp al mojo de ajo modified with a red salsa especially made for me was delicious. Friend had the ribeye tacos and he said that were "fire" good amount of meat and great flavor. And my other friend had the potato tacos ahogados (submerged in salsa) very good and she cooks her own so she was impressed with the flavors especially the pickled red onions on top. And she loved the chicharrones, fresh, super light and crispy at the same time. Our server was excellent as well. All around great experience just a heads up, parking sucks around, valet parking is $10.

Yelp
If you're craving ceviche, walk over here. And if you're craving a delicious margarita, run!!!!! Don't walk! They have such yummy drinks-- beautifully garnished and expertly poured! You're gonna wanna try all the flavors. We came kinda late at night and our service was excellent. The vibe is also pretty cute and good for a lil catch up date with your pals. The ceviche we got was so fresh and so flavorful. They have a huge list of different ceviches you can get so it's hard to pick one. But why pick just one? Go crazy and get a couple! We also got the empanadas and next time we'll def just stick to the ceviches, which makes sense at this ceviche bar :)

Yelp
This place is BOMB. It's small but I loved the chill ambiance and the friendly staff. While so many items on the menu sounded delicious we ended up splitting the Botana Para Picar. It was the perfect amount for two, filled with a variety of fresh seafood and tasty sauces. The menu is huge so we look forward to coming back to try plenty more dishes.

Yelp
10 out of 10 service and food was very impressive. The place is clean and plenty of space very well put together, Everything was great. We will be definitely coming back!

Yelp

Yelp
This spot is very nice inside. Reminds me of a very nice TJ restaurant. They have a lot of tv's for sports games, which I found key to the experience. The server was nice and checked in a few times while we were eating, did not feel neglected by the service. I appreciated the way the mojarra was served. They The dishes were plated nicely and the aguachiles verde tasted authentic, although it was plated nicely. (In the past I realized plated dishes in this manner can loose their authentic taste) They have really good raspados, it's a must try if you come here! Looking forward to exploring the menu more next time I'm here for both the food and their deserts.

Yelp
Amazing place located along the 7th street corridor recommended by a colleague who lives in the area. Had drinks and one ceviche dish before heading to our next destination on Cinco de Mayo. Service was amazing. As of now, they do not have a liquor license and cocktails are wine based with my margarita still amazing.

Yelp
Tried this place on a weekday for Happy Hour. We got lucky and found parking right up front. Not sure if there is a parking lot in the back somewhere but it seems like it's hard to find parking. Not in the greatest neighborhood and traffic is constant since you are on a major street. The noise is loud and unsettling. With that's said, it's night and day when you enter the restaurant. We were greeted and welcomed in for seating. Seated at the bar which we were presented a menu of good Mexican food. Ordered 2 taco special , enchiladas and adult beverages. Received our mixed cocktail drinks of margaritas with Vodka and Tequila. Was definitely refreshing! Received our food a few minutes later. All was fresh! Tacos with rib eye was on point and enchiladas were outstanding. No complaints on the food. This place will make you want more. Overall, this is a hidden gem with great quality presentation of a fine dining presence. Like I said this place will make you ask for more! They don't serve you alot and the prices are alittle bit on the pricey side but the taste and presentation makes up for it. Place is good for high quality find dining Mexican food. Meaning fancy. Leticia was our server and she did an outstanding job. Friendly and professional establishment. Workers kept coming around asking if we were alright. If you are in the mood for fine dining Mexican presentation, this is the place to go. Has a bar and tables to accommodate your needs. Thumbs up

Yelp
There are sometimes places you see on social media that look amazing and then you go and it's a flop. Let me tell you that when I say Ruta 15 is everything that your taste buds are craving and more, I mean it. This place did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and made to feel at home. We were not sure what to expect but their Happy Hour menu made me smile. They offer 2x1 margaritas and other drink specials. To start, we ordered their tacos de canasta which were four potato Burris tacos, served with pickled carrots, shredded cabbage, and avocado green sauce. They were finger licking good. We also got their ceviche traditional which is lime marinate shrimp, mixed with diced tomato, red onion and cilantro on a tostada with mild red and green aioli and avocado garnish (the ceviche comes with three mini shrimp cocteles and tostadas accompanied with salsa macha and a special habanero salsa that is really spicy but so good) as well as their empanadas ruta. They were two empanadas with shrimp, chipotle aioli, creamy avocado sauce, and pickled red onion. Each plate was rich with flavor and felt like there was a party in my mouth. Every table gets complimentary tostadas and salsa which add to your already enjoyable feast. To drink, we ordered their passion fruit and spicy cucumber margaritas and a michelada. To add the icing on the cake, we closed off with their churros with horchata ice cream. You can't beat that. Their service is 10 out of 10 and they are so friendly and constantly check in on you. I 100% encourage anyone to try this spot. The chef is from Tijuana Baja California. He is super creative and adds a magical touch to all that he creates. The inside is spacious but I am not sure what the wait would be on a weekend. We came in on a Thursday evening and it was pretty chill but that's because it's a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Parking can be tough since it's in an area with lots of housing but once you find parking, you are in for an amazing experience. Give a try and I assure you, you will define come back for more.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere and the delightful customer service. They had a delicious vegan ceviche and also tasty cocktails .

Yelp
Fireeeee ceviche and micheladas with great value happy hour specials! First, the decor is stunning. It's clean, modern, and spacious. Big windows open up for an indoor patio feel. Music was good, too. Happy hour is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 2-6pm. The classic and mango Miches were soooo good!!! We were bummed that Padre shut down bc they had the best miches, but these are just as good, if not better. The mango is a must try. The traditional shrimp ceviche was the best dish. It had cilantro and chile mayo, which gave it a slightly creamy spicy flavor. The presentation was beautiful, which is crazy for a $10 happy hour dish. Even normal price is a great deal as it is a large shareable portion. The mini tacos were good! But the ceviche blew them out the water. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. Would highly recommend this high quality place. Would be great to meet for birthdays or get together as well.

Yelp
Came here on a date not too long ago. It was a Friday so of course it was busy, but the wait didn't take too long, maybe waited about 20 minutes. The ambiance is nice and the restaurant looked clean. I ordered the agua chiles and a michelada. Both were well deserving of the price and the salsas weren't too spicey but definitely had good flavor. Will come back here to try more food.

Yelp
Food here is great Everything we've ordered has been delicious Their adult jugos are also yummy. Customer service is awesome! Ambience is nice ..quaint

Yelp
We ate there yesterday and we loved it! We started with a mango margarita and cucumber lime aguafresca. We shared a Tostada Culiacancito, and had a Discada de Mariscos and Tampiquena for our entrees. The food was fantastic it reminded us of restaurants we've been to in Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, or Puerto Vallarta. The service was fantastic and we thought the prices were reasonable considering the quality of food we received. We will definitely be back

Yelp
Best spot in LB without a doubt. The food, drinks, staff and vibes absolutely exceptional.

Ronni B.

Yelp
I can't even begin to explain how good this food was it seriously blew me away! I absolutely loved the unique twist they put on everything. Our waiter was incredibly kind and helped walk us through the menu, which made the whole experience even better. The beer was ice cold (just how it should be!), and the chips and salsa were super flavorful. The restaurant has a cool vibe, parking is a little tight so plan ahead and plan to walk a little bit. My favorite part? They make their tacos with flour tortillas, total game changer. I'll definitely be coming back to try some different things. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Ortega A.

Yelp
I love their coconut ceviche and the tacos de papa was really good. I put 3 stars because the service was not so good. We thought the waiter forgot about us and we were the 1st customers there that day.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been seeing this place all over my Instagram so I decided to stop in and try their food. It's a small spot and easy to miss but definitely worth it. We were seated and given some tostadas with salsa. The salsa was really good however our tostadas were a little stale. We ordered the tacos and a seafood steak combo. The tacos were absolutely amazing. My BF can't stop talking about them and has been dying to go back to get them again. The seafood steak combo plate was also very good. It looks small, but there's so much meat inside of it that I was able to make three tacos and still have some meat left over. I've heard they have really good ceviche and we will definitely need to come back to try some. The service was good. However, we had multiple people coming up to us and it became a little overwhelming. But I would rather have that than be ignored. A really great spot. Parking is difficult, but they do offer valet, which I highly recommend because it's so hard to find parking.
google avatar

Yelp
New place in Long Beach! Very clean, nice setup, with big open windows. Drinks and bartender were great! Food on the other hand...I would not go back for the food. The potato/birria tacos had hardly any birria in it and for the price I would expect more, given they are next to a competing restaurant that is known for their birria tacos. Shredded Enchiladas plate was fair minus the cartilage in them (see images) but small for the price. Also, cilantro rice came out to us COLD but they were able to replace them. VERY strong cilantro taste. The plates seemed more aesthetically pleasing than tasteful. Side note: No parking. You need to park in the neighborhood nearby, unless you luck out with a street parking right in front on 7th.

Yelp
atmosphere is friendly and inviting, food and drinks are savory and so delicious, servers are attentive and provide great recommendations, service is prompt and reliable
google avatar

Yelp
We tried the shrimp soup, the tacos, the beer was ice cold and delicious. The chicken enchiladas got a 10 in my book. And my wife had the ceviche in the coconut. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was very good. It was almost like gourmet Mexican food with the Mexican flavor. This is one of our spots we're going to add to our list of places to go. I wanted to try more food, but my stomach wouldn't allow it
google avatar

Yelp
The ceviche is bomb ! They lack of service. This has been my 3rd time there and no one really ever checks on you , we needed napkins , water spoons and no service we had to get up multiple times to ask for simple things ! I think if they did better on service it will be a lot better .

Yelp
No need to travel outside of Long Beach to have the tastiest Aguachiles in southern ca! I LOVE aguachiles and have tried a lot of them, and not all are equal. We ordered the negro aguachiles, you can choose from 3 kinds. We also had their ahi tuna tostada, and by the beard of Zeus it was memorable! All the flavors coming together made me so happy! All the food that the chef was making next to us looked delicious, so we can't wait to go back to try them all! We sat at the bar and Kevin made us feel like home, suggesting drinks and dishes that were all home runs! Ruta 15 exceeded all my expectations! It's our new, go to place, for authentic, delicious, and nutritious seafood in all of southern ca!!

Yelp
Was in Long Beach for an event and decided to try this new spot out since it has good reviews, however it unfortunately did not live up to the hype. First of all, parking is very difficult since it's on a big street with no lot & the interior is very crammed when busy. We came during the weekend rush and waited about 20 minutes for a table. The service was decent but not spectacular, there were a few things we asked for that never arrived but other than that they were friendly. Overall, everything was overpriced and underwhelming. To start with the good, the ceviche was decent, but nothing spectacular. The tostada buchona had raw tuna and was good but a little too sweet. The guacamole con chicharron only had one small piece of freshly made chicharrones and everything else seemed to be like the ones you can buy at the store. The most unfortunate dish of the day were the Tacos de canasta chalingos, which were supposed to be birria potato tacos. At $15 for 5 tacos, they were miniature and very mushy to the point where they were falling apart. For them to be $3 per taco, we did not expect them to be as small as Jack in the Box's mini tacos. We also ordered a side of rice, which was served to us in a cup that salsa is usually served in. Even the pineapple agua fresca barely tasted like pineapple and was extremely sweet and maybe reminiscent of mango flavored drinks. All in all, everything was very expensive for the portion size and quality of food that was served, and it did not meet the expectations of something that is worth going out of your way for.
google avatar

Julie T.

Yelp
The best ceviche that I've ever had was here! I would definitely recommend ordering the tradition shrimp ceviche. We were able to watch the Dodgers game at out table but there also was a both section for people to just eat.
google avatar

Yelp
Saw this on Instagram and wanted to see what the hype was about. I like the area because you wouldn't expect a little trendy looking restaurant there from the outside. Service was good, the dining area was clean, but to be honest I was totally surprised they give you a paper menu that is stapled together. It's just weird you're going somewhere to eat paying $20-$30 for food and they give you a menu you'd expect from a taco stand or a food vendor on the street. Other than that the food was good. Nothing amazing but it was good. I ordered the Enchiladas Michoacanas and my partner ordered the Aguachile de Camarón. Both dishes were really good. It's hard to stand out with so many Mexican restaurants all over the place. Would I come back here? Maybe, and not because it was bad but just because Mexican food is plentiful and nothing here really wow'd me.

Yelp
This place does not need my review. But... if you are looking for a place where Fine Dining meets Mexican Cuisine. This is the place to go. I honestly wish I took pictures, but the food looked so good I had to dive in. My wife got the Taco Perron, and I got the Tapiquena. Both were delicious. We had to follow up with the half dozen oysters. Perfectly prepped! And they make delicious mixed drinks. 10/10 must go location in the long beach area. To top it all off. They have the best service you will ever have. Everybody is on their game and ready to serve. If you get a chance to sit at the bar. Ask for Kevin. Thanks for a great time Ruta 15!

Yelp
This was such a great experience! Parking is tight in this neighborhood so they offer valet. Everyone was very welcoming and attentive. The food is fantastic! I was a little nervous due to some mixed reviews about portion sizes but I was pleasantly surprised. The aguas & margs were refreshing and all of our plates had great flavor & quality. I apologize for the mostly eaten picture of the Guacamole con Chicharrón, it was SO GOOD. It came with a thick piece of pork belly & crumbled/cubed pieces of cheese. I've tried a lot of guacamoles and this one is now my favorite. I can't wait to try more of their menu!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I discovered Ruta 15 Ceviche Bar|Mexican Kitchen, a fantastic spot for seafood enthusiasts and sports fans. We were thoroughly impressed by the experience. The ambiance was excellent, blending sports bar and upscale restaurant elements. Every table was occupied, but the attractive presentations and outstanding flavors made up for it. We had beer, but the skillfully crafted cocktails caught our attention. The server suggested the Cocacho Relleno and Chicharrón de Perscado, both of which exceeded expectations. The staff was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. We intend to revisit and explore more dishes. COCACHO RELLENO Aguachile shrimp (raw), octopus, sea scallops, cooked shrimp, marinated fish slices, peanut sauce with árbol chili and mango lime, toasted peanuts, cubed coconut, red onion, tomato, cilantro, toasted árbol chili, and avocado slices

Yelp
Such a great find! A very elegant restaurant with valet parking. The food was beyond delicious and rich with many flavors. The dishes looked like works of art and were almost too pretty to mess up and eat. Our server was great and she checked in on us multiple times throughout our meal. We arrived in early afternoon and the place grew more lively the longer we stayed to enjoy our meal.

Yelp
Great customer service! We found this place on Yelp after a sunset watch in Seal Beach. The house made salsas are delicious. The seafood was fresh and nobody's stomachs hurt. Win win! We walked in on a Sunday around 7pm with a group of 7 and we had to wait about 15 minutes which was not bad at all. They had vibey House music playing but not overly loud and the games showing on their screens. Definitely coming back.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem! It's a small place that brings Mexican seafood to the next level! The taste, the presentation is marvelous. We ordered the pulpo zarandeado and the cocacho relleno. My taste buds were in heaven. Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely return!

Yelp
Wasn't sure what to expect when trying Ruta 15 ceviche bar for the first time. It's a small unassuming establishment just off of Nebraska and seventh Street. There's no designated parking lot so we parked across the street just off of seventh Street and Nebraska. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. There is beautiful artwork that is painted on the walls. The floors are beautifully polished. The furniture is new and the whole restaurant was spotless! The service was first class. We were welcomed warmly and quickly seated, then treated to complementary chips and salsa. Our server was very gracious, he came by and took our order and answered all of the questions that we had. When the food came, we were very taken back. The plating was absolutely stunning! Not something that we were expecting for a little hole in the wall. Every single dish FAR exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to go back and work our way through the menu. Stay tuned for updated reviews on items we try. Cheers!
