Rutchada Thai Cuisine

Going back very soon. The Duck was just amazing. Is amazing that after many years of working in restaurants and luxury hotels I never had Thai food that was as good as my dinner last night. I don’t believe they have a bad dish on the menu. They are kid friendly and if you don’t like spicy food they have that for you as well, I will go back to get spicy since I couldn’t do it last night. Beautiful place and the lady helping us was just on top of her game even know she was doing a million things by herself. Chefs keep cooking, I love good food. Please be kind to the food and beverage crew , the food taste better with kindness. 😜😍🧑‍🍳

We tried Rutchada for the first time and loved it! We had the basil fried rice and massaman curry. Both dishes were full of flavor, and while other places might have somewhat lower price points, we felt our food was well worth the premium taste and quality.

Food was pretty good, service is friendly and attentive, place is clean, decent parking spots around area. The RCA Chicken was great, very crispy and flavorful. Pad thai came in the usual fair; beef, tofu, chicken...was good...they have limited drink menu.

We took a big detour on our roadtrip to eat here! It had great reviews and we weren't disappointed! The green curry was every bit as fabulous, if not more, than the ones I lived off in Thailand. Aroy Mak Mak!

Picked up a large sampling of food to share. Quick service and friendly staff! The mango curry and pad thai were excellent. The pad thai was so good in fact that my girlfriend walked into my apartment on crutches and was able to walk out on her own two feet!

Super delicious food and impeccable service - Emma did an outstanding job making our dinner memorable. We had the fried calamari appetizer, Jungle Curry w/Chicken, Pad Thai w/Extra Crispy Chicken, and Thai Iced Tea. Definitely make a trip down - you won't be disappointed!

We got take out and it was delicious! We tried a few different dishes (mango curry, pad woon sen with shrimp which were large and a generous portion and an eggplant dish with steamed tofu). The prices were very reasonable and we enjoyed all the food. We will be back!

Good food, but nothing remarkable. Service is slow and lacking friendliness. May try them again some day.

I want to like Rutchada more than I do, but in reality it's something of a mixed bag- some highs, some lows, not bad but not super consistent or amazing either. For example, I do like the mango curry, which has a good amount of spice without being overwhelming, but I don't like that the veggie mix contains lots of squash/zucchini (not personally my favorite, and led to some food waste). Other items, like the crazy udon and pad see yew and pad thai and crispy rolls and the lemonade, are OK/just fine with nothing majorly wrong but also nothing majorly right either. Some items are very tasty, like the peking duck wrap, and others are better in theory than in reality, like the flower cups (good flavor when you use the sauce, but are DIY and open at the top, so can get a little messy/uneven, and I don't think the veggies were otherwise seasoned).

Food was very good when they 1st opened but has been very disappointing the last few visits. Last night took out Chicken Satay (no flavor); Scallion Pancake (average), Basil Fried Rice (rice clumpy and stuck together with little flavor and dry chicken) and Eggplant Basil with chicken (also very little flavor and undercooked onions and overcooked eggplant). Will not be returning.

The food here is consistently very good with a speedy and friendly delivery! This is my go to Thai place!

Reviewing 4 stars because I really like the food here and have ordered multiple times but, I had some issues with the amount of food in my orders. Nevertheless management was very responsive and reassured me that they would take care of it. Ive ordered crispy chicken fried rice, multiple noodles, the calamari (really liked) and the pekin duck.

The best Thai in Boston! I love that they can cater to allergies. Try the crab Rangoons. Literally the best ones we've ever had. Also love the Tom Yum soup, pineapple fried rice, and pad thai! Literally you can't go wrong here. We get it frequently for take out and cannot recommend it enough!

I picked up an online order on a Saturday night and wasn't impressed with what we ordered. We got a pad see ew, jungle curry (+$2 white rice), curry puffs, and a Thai iced tea. How does a place that serves curry as a dish charge extra for rice?! I wanted to try something new, so the jungle curry sounded pretty interesting, but it was honestly jungle soup with vegetables in it. There is minimal to no spice in the dish and the soup curry is light and a bit sweet. I would not recommend getting this dish. The pad see ew was okay, nothing special, and had a lot of vegetables in it. The curry puffs were good, crispy outside and good filing of chicken, potato, and curry flavoring. They also have a taro option for the curry puffs. The Thai iced tea was sweet, but I wouldn't recommend getting their boba (+$1). Overall, not the best Thai food I've had, but I'd try out some other dishes if you decide to give this place a try.

Soooo happy to have great Thai food so close! We were there for the soft-opening and have been regulars since. As is typical with any brand-new restaurant there were a couple ordering kinks early on, but the owner and her employees could not be friendlier or more accommodating. Really sweet folks! As to the food... Portions are generous. We're slowly making our way through the menu. Some standouts: * The fresh rolls and crispy rolls are excellent, as are the gyoza * the Tom Yum soup is very good * we've tried all the curries - all very good. Massaman is my wife's fave. * excellent pad thai dishes. Basil is my fave. * their Thai iced tea is lovely (it's sub-listed under Cold Drinks, btw, not to be confused with Thai Iced coffee - also good, but has a separate listing) Looking forward to eating in their cute dining room soon!

Celebrating first day of Spring and I'm happy I found this place. Ordered my favorite as usual, Tum Yum, Papaya salad and coconut sticky rice. Tum yum was one of the best I've ever had. Portions were just right. Haha, no doggie bag for me.

BLOT: Great food with a few flaws. Good: Best scallion pancakes in town, hands down. I wish there were a few more pieces though, I found them fairly small. Amazing taste and flavors on both Pad Thai and Pad Se Ew. Fast delivery, I mean, FAST! A lot of bonus points from this. Bad: Slightly overcooked noodles Crispy chicken is okay, I was a bit underwhelmed maybe from the hype, but overall, really good. Ugly: Amazing food overall, I'll order from here many many times in the future!

Our family's go to place for take out. The lo mein is my favorite and all of appetizers are fresh and tasty The brown rice is a treat in itself. We always order extra to freeze some for later use. They use minimal plastic packaging. Lastly the staff are pleasant and gracious.

The food was incredibly fresh and delicious - probably the best we have had in Boston since our trip to Thailand when we learned a lot about Thai cooking. The chicken lettuce salad was amazing, as was the crazy udon. The fresh rolls were also just perfect. I can't wait to order again and try more of their menu. They also offered curbside pickup, which was really easy. Highly recommend!! We will order again this week.

Cute little restaurant and absolutely amazing food! Everything we ordered was delicious. The service and attention were truly welcoming. The mango salad was divine as were all the appetizers. I look forward to going back and totally recommend!

Hidden gem that just opened in Roslindale. Visited the restaurant on it's opening day and was greeted by the owner, who was warm and welcoming. Alot of things are still in process but it has the potential to be an amazing neighborhood Thai restaurant. -Crispy chicken pad thai was exceptional, chicken was tenderized with a light batter coating that contrasted with the soft yet sweet/sour noodles. Ending it with a classic Thai tea is the finish to any meal.

Ordered khao soi and the RCA wings. The khao soi was very flavorful and I don't think the other Thai restaurants in the area have it, so I was happy to find a good one in the area. The spicy and sweet sauce with the wings was delicious. Had a small issue ordering online, so I would suggest calling if you're doing takeout. But they were friendly about it and the food was great!

This restaurant is awesome for allergies and I super appreciate the staff's attention to it. I placed an online order for orange chicken, noting that I had a soy allergy and asking to make sure there was no soy. The staff then took the time to call me a few minutes later to let me know that it wasn't possible to make that dish without soy and they allowed me to cancel my order. Really appreciate the fantastic service.

Delicious! The scallion pancakes, fresh rolls, pad see ew, and yellow curry that we ordered were all excellent. Portions are generous and prices are good. The best Thai food we've had in a long time.

Our friends have been ordering rutchada since the first week they opened and we haven't ordered from anywhere else since. Every order is fresh, perfectly cooked and spiced, and delivered quickly. Their sauces are so light but flavorful. Such a great addition to the neighborhood!

We tried this because our friends so highly recommended it. It did not disappoint! It has items on the menu that you don't necessarily find at other Thai places. The food was fresh and the flavors were great. Even my husband commented on how good it was and Thai is not usually his first choice for takeout.

Every time my family has eaten take out from Rutchada the food and service have been awesome. Recently, we had a large family gathering and ordered from here. They were attentive, timely, and every dish was delicious and piping hot!

Very yummy delivery and fast too! We ordered pad Thai, gyoza and fresh rolls. They forgot the sauce for the gyoza and sent friend rice instead of fresh rolls, but we didn't mind. Will try again!

We ordered today and it's amazing to have a new spot to order in Rozzie! The delivery was super fast! The food was great! Super crispy scallion pancakes! We had to call for a question and they were very understanding and explained very well!

Highly recommend. We ordered delivery. They were running a little late and called and let us know which we appreciated. The food was delicious . We got crispy chicken pad Thai, scallion pancakes, gyoza and crispy rolls. It was all delicious and very fresh. We will definitely order from them again.

Believe the hype, this is not only the best Thai food you'll find in Roslindale and surrounding areas, but Boston in general. Super fresh ingredients and that comforting, homemade taste you only get at restaurants which put a lot of care into each dish. Friendly and consistent service as well, you can't go wrong here!

Welcome to the neighborhood! Fresh and delicious and wonderfully non-greasy! Spicier than expected (let them know if you prefer mild) but we found this a welcome change to the bland flavoring of many places. Very friendly owner. We will go back for sure!

Disappointing, expensive and not as good as it should be. Massaman curry did not have any sweet potato and the sauce was watery. I ordered spring rolls but got fresh rolls. They even charge 5 cents for the paper bag of the order.

On the spur of the moment went to Rutchada for Tai on Belgrade Ave in Roslindale with 2 friends. We ate there and were the only ones. This food was fresh, tasty and nicely presented and Yummy! The service people were nice despite having trouble with their alarm system. Steamed pork GYOZA and scallion pancakes done perfectly. We also shared Pad Tai, Pad se EW, and curry mango with side of white rice. You really should not miss this place if you love Tai !!! Will definitely return

Thai Discovery in Roslindale, MA! We were looking for an open restaurant on Christmas for a sit-down meal. After calling three or four Chinese places and getting busy signals, we stumbled upon Rutchada, a newly- opened Thai place in Roslindale. (Bless them for opening during a pandemic - and on Christmas!) Made an online res via Yelp, and 90 minutes later we were walking in, literally with the place to ourselves. It looked nice; small, cozy, clean and just a little funky (church pews for seats). What a pleasant surprise we were in for! Everything on the menu looked great, with each dish beautifully presented in the photos. I actually said, "It's not going to really look like that." Boy was I wrong! Not only was everything artfully plated, it was absolutely delicious, as well. We had the vegetable fresh rolls, which came with a perfect plum sauce, pineapple fried rice, fried tofu, and Jungle Curry with eggplant. Everything was as close to perfect as you can get. Siri, the owner and boss, is proud and deservedly so. We talked with her about how hard it must be to open a new place during COVID, but mostly we gushed to her about how good the food is. She is delightful. Another thing she is proud of is the photos, which are 100% real and authentic. It was I first time there, but it definitely won't be the last! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Delicious! The chicken yellow curry is beautifully flavored, you can just taste the coconut milk, and the curry has a bit of kick. The veggies are really fresh and sliced perfectly. The gyoza are handmade with a delicate wrapper and a juicy, spicy meat filling. I ordered steamed which is a real test of a dumpling's flavor and these pass with flying colors. The dipping sauce is the perfect vinegary counterpart. Shrimp/pineapple fried rice was terrific-LOTS of fresh shrimp (not rubbery or iodine-tasting) Arrived on time and still hot! I'll be back!!

Amazing! Great flavor, great spice. They even threw in a free Thai iced tea while I waited just because I was early. Wonderful people. Sad to see the last Thai place in this spot go, but honestly this one is even better -- by far. Will definitely get again. Big fans

Had our first experience doing takeout with Rutchada last night. Food was delicious. We had the tofu pad see ew. The tofu was crispy and so good. We also had the chicken massaman curry and veggie spring rolls which were also delicious. We'll definitely be returning! Food was ready in 15 minutes. A great addition to the neighborhood, I highly recommend trying it out!

I haven't even finished my food and I'm already thinking about what I'm going to order next time. We tried the scallion pancakes, sweet and spicy wings, panang curry, wonton soup and thai iced tea. All of it was very fresh and flavorful. They were very kind too!

We had lunch at Rutchada today,The Pad Thai dish was well-made and the fresh vegetable rolls where as well. The dipping sauce for the rolls was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive.

Quaint little spot with a retro feel, beautiful art throughout perfect for date night. Staff were kind, attentive, made recommendations and you could see their passion for food as they described the different dishes. Hands down the best meal I've eaten since moving to the area a year ago. Food was fresh and flavorful that elated your tastebuds with each bite perfect for mindful eating. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning in the near future!

I made a mistake where I didn't answer the phone for the delivery, and the food was out in the cold. But let me tell you, if the food was this good reheated at home, makes me wonder how good it would be fresh. Definitely will be ordering again and hopefully it won't be long until I can eat there in person too!

We have tried a few local Thai restaurants nearby and this has been the best by far! The red curry and Tom yum soup are excellent!

We had a great dinner tonight thanks to Rutchada Thai Cuisine! We got the Cashew Chicken and Drunken Noodles, both were absolutely delicious! The Drunken noodles have steamed tofu rather than greasy fried tofu, which we really enjoyed. The flavor was amazing, will absolutely order from them again!

Great new Thai restaurant in Rozzi. Fresh veggies, interesting menu, well prepared dishes and nicely packaged for delivery. We will be back soon.

Was very excited to see a new Thai restaurant had opened up here. I really enjoyed the khao soi I ordered, which is not on every Thai menu and can often be almost inedibly spicy (in my opinion). This, on the other hand, was a winner, with just the right amount of heat for me. My husband also enjoyed his crispy chicken pad thai (how do they get it so tasty and crispy??). We will be back!

This is literally best Thai food in Boston!!!! They have been open for less then two weeks and have I have already ordered four times. The food is always fresh and the flavors are on another level. The owners are super sweet and appreciative for your business. I would give it more stars if I could!!!
