Dallas Restaurant Openings to Know in February 2025 | Eater Dallas

"Making the jump from food truck to a café a mile and a half from Downtown, this location is part of the Good Foundation, a nonprofit aiming to combat food insecurity and encourage development in South Dallas. Operated as a fresh-start employer that hires people impacted by the justice system to teach job and life skills, the café serves breakfast and lunch with elevated diner-style dishes and offers vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free versions of meals." - Courtney E. Ruthie’s Cafe: In July (2025) we saw a CBS story that highlighted Ruthie’s Cafe and just had to try it. The grilled cheese had looked so delicious! We had the “Plain Jane”, the “Plain Jane” with jalapeños, and the “Extra Cheesy” and they were all so yummy! The bread was crunchy with every bite—I don’t know how Zoe (chef/cook) does it. The food was so good, we ended up ordering additional grilled cheese sandwiches to take home with us. Zoe said that we would be raving about the “The Boss” (BBQ beef brisket with sharp yellow cheese). I can’t wait to get home to try it. You should definitely check this place out. …but get there before 2:00 PM on Saturday. 😄

I ate at Ruthies yesterday and it exceeded my expectations. The food was good and the environment was a vibe. I honestly wasn't expecting that. If you're looking for a hidden gem in south Dallas to have a great lunch break or lunch meeting, Ruthies is the place. They also have a cute patio area too. Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

Ruthie’s Café: Where Healthy Meets Heavenly TL;DR: Ruthie’s Café serves up health-conscious breakfast options on their legendary bread, all at reasonable prices in a cozy, inviting space. Can a healthy breakfast satisfy your taste buds without the usual bacon grease and carb coma? At Ruthie’s Café, the answer is a melty, cheesy *yes*. I tried their chicken sausage, scrambled egg, and cheese sandwich, all served on their signature bread—a star since their food truck days. Of course, I couldn’t leave without revisiting the sandwich that made me fall in love with Ruthie’s back when they were slinging cheese sandwiches at Klyde Warren Park. Spoiler: it’s still as gooey and glorious as ever. The café itself is a minimalist dream, with tall ceilings, glass walls, and a vibe that says, “Stay awhile.” Whether you’re hosting a group in their conference room or curling up in the laptop-friendly corner, there’s a spot for everyone. The biggest surprise? The prices. Somehow, they’re as reasonable—if not better—than their food truck days. I stumbled upon this gem while shopping for produce nearby and will absolutely be back for their brisket cheese sandwich. The Flipside: The coffee? Meh. It’s not bad, but it’s more “standard drip” than “artisan brew.” It’s like showing up to a cheese party with crackers that are just okay. Pro Tips: - Skip the street parking stress—there’s a convenient lot in the back. - The patio is perfect for overcast days or when you want to feel fancy eating a cheese sandwich outdoors. - Planning a group gathering? The conference room seems reservable. - Breakfast is served all day! Ignore the TV screens showing the lunch menu and grab a laminated menu at the counter for the good stuff. - The coffee comes out *extremely* hot. Be mindful when opening it, and maybe let it cool down for a few minutes. I think I finished my meal, and the coffee was still cooling off. Final Thoughts: Ruthie’s Café nails the trifecta: quality food, reasonable prices, and thoughtful touches like eco-friendly utensils. Whether you’re here for the bread, the cheese, or just the vibe, it’s a spot worth adding to your regular rotation. After all, life’s too short for bad bread—or boring cheese sandwiches. Mmmm… cheeseeee. 🤤 🧀

Google
Beautiful through and through. The decorations and environment is clean, and delightful. The food was absolutely delicious especially the Zo’s breakfast, and reasonably priced. The staff is happy and helpful. Ruthie’s is a well worth the stop. Great food, great people, great location.

Google
Everything here was fantastic! The staff were helpful and kind and the food was even better! This really is the best grill cheese around. The boss fries are 10/10 too. The manager made us each a southside soda and it was really good! I had something with strawberry and raspberry and they honestly mixed so well.

It was my first time going to Ruthie's Cafe and I loved every aspect of it. The food, the employees, and the atmosphere were all phenomenal. My team and I were super blessed by one of the employees, Zo, he was hard word working and went above and beyond to makes us feel welcomed! We will be back

Yelp
When it comes to a quick sandwich spot you really can't get any better than this. The staff and ambiance were both excellent as well. We ordered two sandwiches that had perfectly crispy bread, great fillings and flavorful sauces. I mean when you put a bunch of well seasoned proteins between two slices of bread with a bunch of cheese, you can't end up with anything that isn't delicious. What keeps this from a 5 is that it is not anything unique. Regardless, they make great sandwiches and I will definitely be back to try more of them Shoutout to Zo for explaining what we ordered and for being the creator of the monthly Jerk Chicken sandwich

Yelp
Where Comfort Meets Conscious Eating TL;DR: A cozy café serving up health-conscious breakfast sandwiches on their legendary bread--flavorful, satisfying, and surprisingly affordable. Healthy breakfast spots can be hit or miss. Too often, you're left with something that tastes like regret wrapped in whole wheat. But Ruthie's Café? They've cracked the code. Their chicken sausage, scrambled egg, and cheese sandwich--stacked on that famous bread from their food truck days--is proof that healthy can still mean deliciously melty. Of course, I had to revisit an old flame: the grilled cheese that first made me fall for Ruthie's back when they were slinging sandwiches at Klyde Warren Park. Spoiler alert: it's still as gooey and glorious as ever. The space itself? Minimalist, but in a welcoming way--high ceilings, big glass windows, and a "come hang out" kind of vibe. Whether you're settling into the laptop-friendly corner or hosting a group in the conference room, there's a spot that feels just right. The Unexpected Perk The prices. Somehow, they're just as reasonable--if not better--than when they were a food truck. I randomly wandered in while running errands and now have their brisket cheese sandwich bookmarked for my next visit. The Flipside The coffee? Let's just say it exists. Not terrible, but definitely not the star of the show. Think more "standard drip" than "carefully curated roast." Basically, it's the sidekick to the cheese sandwich, not the main act. Pro Tips * Skip the street parking stress--there's a lot in the back. * The patio is prime real estate for overcast days or when you want to feel fancy eating a cheese sandwich outdoors. * If you're planning a group gathering, the conference room seems reservable. * Breakfast is served all day! Don't let the TV screens showing lunch options fool you--grab a laminated menu at the counter for the real deal. * The coffee is molten when served. Give it a minute unless you enjoy burning your taste buds off. Final Thoughts Ruthie's Café nails the trifecta: solid food, fair prices, and thoughtful little details (like eco-friendly utensils). Whether you're here for the bread, the cheese, or just the easygoing vibe, it's the kind of place you'll want in your regular rotation. Because life's too short for bad bread--or forgettable cheese sandwiches.

Yelp
RUN! Do not walk to Ruthie's and order the Power Bowl! OMG! Chef Dre made the fluffiest eggs I've ever had! So good!

Yelp
So I volunteered to a Dallas Resource fair and Ruthies was there, compelled to try some grilled cheese I placed my order. Ok so this is grilled cheese, you can burn it or add fake cheese so there's not much to it. But a 4 cheese grilled cheese, well that's doing a lot. Can I say though, that my taste buds disagreed with me! That sandwich oozed with cheese, creamy havarti, thick mozzarella, tasty swiss and sharp cheddar. The sourdough bread soaked in all the butter making this no dry grilled cheese at all. I love when businesses service the community and do it with an amazing yummy to my tummy meal. Thanks Ruthie for leaving us with a smile. Oh and it's a certified woman's owned business!

Yelp
This place is awesome!! The staff here is exceptional and the food is even better. Mike and his team make you feel very welcomed and it's an awesome restaurant and atmosphere! You have to try the Boss sandwich! Zoe makes the best sandwiches in town! Will definitely be back!!

Ericka J.

Yelp
Ruthie's came to South Western Seminary! They have a really pretty Pink Food Truck with just a few choices that are pretty pricey. Staff seemed to be really humble posing for a pic and Thanking me for the review. I was not able to try it since, I had a sandwich for dinner. Maybe, next time, I will try something on the menu and complete an updated review. Well, that's I got.
google avatar

Jasper S.

Yelp
Employee had the audacity to give herself a tip without my consent. I only noticed because the total bill seemed too high - my credit card is linked to my phone, so I was able to check the receipt online and confirm that she gave herself a tip. Completely unprofessional and dishonest behavior. I will be looking into opening a claim with my bank/credit card company.

Yelp
Yum I do love a good grilled cheese. I wanted just a regular, but my friend convinced me to try the brisket and I was so glad. The brisket was slow cooked, and delicious on it's own. Adding it to the grilled cheese was a wondrous addition. Everything about this grilled cheese is perfection, from the bread to the cheese. It's nicely griddled with a crisp ends.

Yelp
Hired for a wedding. 3 hours late! Entire reception had to be pushed because of this. Then when they opened food took 30-45 minutes. Worst part is their attitude was rude with no apologies.

Yelp
I went to a few museums nearby and walked over to Klyde Warren Park afterwards to check out what was going on there as I saw a bunch of people there. Just a bunch of people there hanging out, kids playing about, people taking selfies, bunch of dogs, a bunch of food trucks around. Suns out, guns out, skies out, thighs out were all around! We discussed about getting a little snack, so we walked the line of food trucks to see what looked good. Ruthie's looked the best so we decided to get a grilled cheese here and got the "Turkey Trot"...turkey meat with bacon, a bunch of melty cheese and this thousand island kind of sauce. It was nicely grilled up, ooey gooey cheese, not super greasy. May not be the best choice eating this outside in 90 degree weather but we found some shade so it was fine. Overall a good food truck to check out, glad we stopped by. Took about 10 mins to make our sandwich so we waited like everyone else. Prices seem like I thought it would be and staff was normal. If I worked or lived nearby, I would come here again but I don't, so whatever.

Yelp
One of the better food truck I've tried. The truck was at Kyde Warren Park. We went around noon. Ordered The Boss - Brisket & cheese on sourdough. This was so good! I loved it! I think it's a must try! It was made exactly how I wanted it. Only downside about this truck was that the wait for your sandwich took a bit longer. Assuming there was only 2 (maybe 3) people inside, I guess I can't argue with them being slow with the amount of people ordering. I'd go backs I recommend others to try!
google avatar

Yelp
If you are taking a stroll around Klyde Warren and want to grab a quick bite Ruthies food truck is the place to go!! Their grilled cheese are absolutely delicious. We tried THE BOSS, crazy chicken, and the very vegan. (ALL AMAZINGLY MOUTHWATERING) Ruthies serves the #BestGrilledCheeseInTexas while impacting & supporting the community and local nonprofits! Right now they are donating 100% of your donations to frontline hero's so grab a bite and donate for a good cause!!

Yelp
Ruthie's rolled into our office's parking lot today for lunch, and being a big fan of grilled cheese, it was an easy choice. Stepping up to the truck, I perused the menu and, in a typical move for me, started contemplating off menu possibilities. The Extra Cheesy Classic looked fantastic, but where's the beef? Also, all that cheese is screaming for bacon and a little spice. After asking if I should expect a structural failure (no, he said), I ordered an Extra Cheesy Classic with brisket, bacon and jalapenos. Oh, yeah. Digging in back inside the office, the bread was nicely brown and crisp, and the ooey, gooey cheese was plentiful. The brisket, as promised by the staff, was in the "pulled" format with a little bit of sauce for binding, but it was far from being runny or sloppy. Bacon was crisp and smokey, and the jalapenos were just what the sandwich needed for a little kick. Overall, it was a very nice meal, albeit a little on the spendy side. But I'd prefer quality over thrift, so it was a win.

Yelp
I was just behind one of their food trucks at a stoplight near Harry Hines and NW Hwy 12. Watched the driver chuck his empty chip bag out the window and onto the street. If your whole business model is built around people wanting to eat outside, maybe show a little effort to keep it clean.
google avatar

Kurt V.

Yelp
It is kind of crazy that I'm giving five stars to a food truck but if there's one that deserves it it is this place. Ruthie's came to my work today and served up some sandwiches and did it in style! My sandwich today was what they call The Boss, which is essentially barbecue brisket in a delicious sauce and melted cheddar cheese on one of the most deliciously crusted breads I have ever had a sandwich on. The sandwich does not normally come with bacon but upon the order takers recommendation I added it to it and it was unbelievably good. Sandwiches are the thing though with Ruthie's. The sides and drinks are pretty standard a bag of chips a bottle of drink. Nothing really to write home about but hey when your sandwiches are this good you can forget about putting much effort into the extras!

Yelp
As the President of an HOA in North Dallas, a resident recommended that I look to get Ruthies into the HOA during the quarantine. I checked out the menu, and it looked great. I worked with Robin, and we were able to quickly setup the event. The reaction from the neighborhood was overwhelming excitement. I think everyone, like me, was excited to get out of the house, get some hot fresh food, without having cold cuts again, or getting delivery. Due to the virus, they implemented a new procedure. You order on-line, select a time for pickup, and then arrive, pickup your bag on the table, and leave, "contactless" ordering as they called it. So the day of the event came, and there was a good turnout. From what I have heard from residents, an overwhelming majority of the residents were pleased with the event. Now, truthfully, with their new business model due to the corona virus, and the "social distancing", everything did not go as planned. There was delays for a good amount of people, and there was some mistakes. Mine was personally missing the bacon. After the event, I relayed my concerned to Robin, and a representative reached out to me to apologize. As I mentioned, they are initiating a new system, for the contactless ordering. As with any new system, there was some kinks. Ashlee reached out to me personally, explained what happen, and was very sorry, that not everyone was satisfied. She personally offered to take action to make this right for all of our residents (we're a pretty large HOA community). During these trying times, all businesses are forced to change the way they do business to survive and keep their employees on the payroll. I am thankful that small business are doing things like this, because their success is critical to the success our our local communities. Over all my years, I've learned to judge business not only by if there was a problem or not, but most importantly by how they rectify a problem if one occurs. There was some learning pains yesterday, and things were not perfect, however, the majority of the residents really enjoyed their lunch, even those that had to wait. With the problems, Ashlee promptly reached out to me to do anything she could to make this right for our residents, and she was sincere and apologetic. In my book, that is a sign of a company doing the right thing. Correcting issues, and insuring that the problem is fixed. I don't know if all our residents will stop and try another sandwich, but as a Grilled Cheese Junkie, If I see a Ruthie's in the area, I will definitely be back to give them a second try. Ashlee's commitment to making it right earned my respect. Thanks Ashley and Robin, Both you guys stepped up to the plate, and your commitment to our community is appreciated. Best of luck during these challenging times. I can not begin to fully appreciate all of the issues facing small businesses during these challenging times. Best Regards, Stay Safe ! Bob , Legends HOA President

Yelp
Great experience with Ruthies. The food was delicious and everyone at our party loved it. They did not run out of any of the choices, even though we had over 60 people. Cooking on a truck in 100 plus temps is challenging, but the guys were friendly and everyone got their sandwiches very quickly. Would definitely hire this company again.

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
We loved having Ruthie's to our campus for lunch! Everyone loved it and Angelica and Jacob are so friendly and awesome!!! Thank you!!!

Yelp
I love love love this food truck! It's my favorite place to get grilled cheese sandwiches ANYWHERE. The people on the truck are super friendly and patient while decide on my order. My favorite sandwich so far is the Boss. They make them pretty quickly and they are AMAZING!!! I walk down to Kylde Warren Park from my hotel every time I'm in town just to get some Ruthie's.

Susan T.

Yelp
We had Ruthies for a Block Party, and it was perfect for both young and old -- everyone LOVES a grilled cheese sandwich! They put some new twists on grilled cheese which were delicious, especially the brisket grilled cheese. The service was excellent, and the wait times were short. You get a sandwich, chips and a drink, too - so, it's a complete meal. We loved it, and will definitely have them again!

Yelp
The food was amazing and the people are so nice and professional definitely recommend the crazy chicken

Yelp
They sent a truck to The Colony for a great idea to provide Grilled Cheese during this quarantine. HORRIBLE EXECUTION. Waited 45 mins for my 12:15 pickup - got it 1PM. Asked at 12:30 and "there are a couple people still ahead of you". Asked at 12:45 and "you're next up". Asked at 1 and they can't find my order. Finally got my sandwiches at 1PM after asking them to cancel my order. They simply put it in like an ordinary order and it was done in 2 minutes. However, the sandwich I got was very underwhelming. "Crazy Chicken" with 3 tiny pieces of chicken, a single half piece of bacon and about a tablespoon of cheese. The part that took this from slightly irritating to 1-star review was the young lady working the front. She kept coming around asking everyone's names - did it 4 or 5 times - but then didn't return with any information. When you asked her for more info she just asked for your name again. I completely understand having issues, especially now, but if you let your customers know what is going on they can work with you. Great idea. TERRIBLE EXECUTION.
google avatar

Kou L.

Yelp
Do not pass this food truck!! You'll regret it!! Try one of their grill cheese sandwich, I got the crazy chicken and my sister in law got the boss and both were delicious!!! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Vince L.

Yelp
This was parked outside of the building where my training was going on. I decided to eat here vs my free breakfast. I was not disappointed. It was a bit pricey, $7, but it was good. The crepe was fresh and the combination of the bacon, egg, and cheese with the Maple Syrup was a delight. I think the biggest obstale will be the price for each item. I am glad they sopped by and I wish them the best!
google avatar

Courtney C.

Yelp
Okay these sandwiches are HUGE. It took me awhile to decide which one I wanted but I went with "the boss" because brisket. I couldn't even finish it in one sitting. It was an amazing treat to try on a sunny Saturday afternoon. When lent is over and I'm back to eating out, I'd definitely give them a try again!
google avatar

Dan V.

Yelp
Best food truck in my opinion bar none. Plenty of good food trucks out there but this one just hits the spot every time I usually get Da Boss (grilled cheese with brisket) but decided to branch out and got the Kickin Chicken (grilled cheese, chicken and jalapenos). Was not disappointed one bit. Thank you Ruthie's crew for puting out top notch food
google avatar

Yelp
Crispy, gooey, goodness...should I say more? I guess I will. We had the pleasure of having Ruthies onsite and it blessed our lives! Not only was the truck beautiful, not only was the staff a group of delightful young women, the food was extraordinary. The turkey and the brisket seems to be the favorites but I had the brisket, THE BOSS! It's everything the reviews are saying. I'm a bbq snob so it takes a lot to impress me. How do they get the bread so crispy without being greasy? I don't know but I will find them at Klyde Warren Park next week for another treat.
google avatar

dan r.

Yelp
Couldn't really tell from the name of the truck but people seemed friendly so we stopped by. Ordered The Boss and it was amazing. Everything you want in a grilled cheese and everything you want in brisket combined into one buttery crunchy sandwich. Delicious. We would definitely eat again. While we were waiting we read about Ruthies charitable causes and we gave extra. Good people doing well by doing good! We would come back for sure.

Yelp
This is my first experience with this truck. The crazy chicken is insane, grilled chicken bacon havarti with homemade jalapeno Ranch on sourdough. Travis

Yelp
Ruthie's comes regularly to SMU pretty much every week without fail during the school year, so I've indulged my need for grilled cheese quite a lot in 2016. Their Turkey Trot is consistently amazing, and I was so sad when they stopped serving the seasonal tomato soup poppers last winter! On National Grilled Cheese Day in the spring they were handing out BOGO coupons for everyone who added them on Snapchat, which I thought was a nice perk. Gotta find someone to use it with before it expires next summer.
google avatar

Jordyn B.

Yelp
I went to this location last year for a culinary class outing and it was an amazing first try. BEWARE they are expensive. My meal was 13 or 14$ and I got a soda ,grilled cheese and a bag of chips but I loved it !
google avatar

Nick B.

Yelp
Best grilled cheese I've ever had. Great cause as well - cafe momentum is doing amazing things downtown.
google avatar

La’Neishea D.

Yelp
I wasn't too excited because the last time they were extremely late. It was due to an accident, and we were upset with the truck and the complex because there wasn't any communication. Today's my birthday, and I received an email that they were back at our location. The staff was extremely nice and answered any questions we had about the menu. I recommend them, I would just advise the company that if they are running late; communicating with the location would be great so that they can pass the information along. I would have been more understanding and wouldn't had left a 1- star review knowing the reason why they were late. Thank you all for serving at our complex!!!!

EB M.

Yelp
So good! My grilled cheese was perfection! It was that great mix of buttery (not greasy), crunchy, and gooey! Just the right cheese to bread ratio and my cheese pulled! It was like a warm hug:) Plus, the people in the truck were so kind and just awesome! You think you can just make this at home... nope, not like this. I'm definitely finding this truck again! Great business to support!
google avatar

Yelp
Ruthie's came to out Town Home community tonight. We had delicious vegan grilled cheese sandwiches with tomatoes and pickles. Yum! Lots of great choices for meat-eaters, too. We Support Ruthie's and Cafe Momentum!

Yelp
So this food truck came to my work and I liked their concept of taking the plain grilled cheese sandwich and turning it into something more. I ordered Italian hippy grilled cheese sandwich which was good it just needed a lil something extra?! Not quite sure....but maybe a spicy Mayo sauce or something. The pesto inside wasn't doing It for me. I'm still willing to try this place again and see what else they got.
google avatar

Steve V.

Yelp
I had the Plain Jane grilled cheese from this truck over the weekend and it was average at best. The bread was not overly compelling and the cheese tasted like it was Kraft singles. Nonetheless, it was a filling meal and the service and speed were good. A benefit is that they do take credit cards. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at this truck.

Moose M.

Yelp
Had the pleasure to work with Ruthies recently for our first ever Food Truck Friday! From the first point of contact to the staff working on site in the food truck, it has been nothing but amazing. The good they do in the community shouldn't be overlooked, but their food definitely lived up to the hype! Look forward to working with them again soon!
google avatar

Yelp
The Grilled Cheese was amazing. I love that they offer gluten free bread. The flavors are done well and the staff are great. I love this food truck and wish that it was around different areas more. I look forward to eating here again.

Yelp
We hired Ruthie's to cater our daughter and new son in law's "second day" wedding reception. They had a very small wedding on Saturday and then a big reception on Sunday for friends. It was a total HIT! We picked five different sandwiches that the 60 plus guests could choose from. Every guest commented how good the sandwiches were! I suggested that each couple get two different sandwiches and then switch a half, that way they could try two different sandwiches. Most people were not able to eat the whole sandwich, so a lot were wrapped up and taken home. The sandwiches are THAT BIG! The sandwiches came w/ chips and a drink. The team of three women were so much fun! Besides being fun, they were kind, courteous, polite, helpful and everything else that you want! It was a warm day and they even had a pop up tent so when people ordered, they were out of the sun! Not only was the staff great, but Robin Skinner, the Director of Catering, was terrific and answered so many of my questions and concerns. It was a terrific food truck and if you need a fun experience, go with Ruthie's. Our neighbors are still talking about it!
google avatar

Kaleolani B.

Yelp
THE BOSS is THE BOSS! Cheesy, gooey, meaty, saucy, with a grilled crust! The best. Service was quick and they even had a gluten-free option. A little pricey for 1 sandwich... no sides or drink included in that $11-$12 but oh well. The BBQ brisket was amazing.

Kristin E.

Yelp
We were lucky enough to be invited to a birthday party that Ruthies was catering last night. This is without a DOUBT the BEST food truck I have had in Dallas. Dee was on the grill and I don't think there is another person in the city who is patient enough to achieve such a perfectly melted grilled cheese! Dee is a warm person and did everything to make sure we had enough to eat! We will definitely be following Ruthies and Dee! Cubano was delicious, but the Plain Jane grilled cheese and tomato soup was the classic combo it should be!! The soup wasn't overly creamy so it didn't feel heavy, plus it had a slight hint of after-heat that was great for a chilly evening. I was so impressed and happy to blow my diet for one of those sandwiches!

Rigoberto R.

Yelp
Love what they do and the food that they provide. I showed up toward the end of their shift and they still provided good service, 10/10 recommend

Yelp
Ruthies came to our event for work. I ordered the Roast beef Grilled Cheese with truffle. It was one of the better grilled cheese that i've got from them. They've really improved since I last ate with them. Their menu seems simplified as well. The thick buttered bread gave it an awesome texture and bite to it. The grilled cheese came with some lettuce or arugala. I couldn't tell i ate it really quickly. With that, i ordered cake balls. The cake balls were amazing and delicious. They offer vanilla and chocolate. The guy recommended the vanilla. So i got two vanilla and one chocolate. I should have known and got all chocolate because I really enjoy chocolate better. The chocolate cake balls was really moist on the inside and soaked. I could have ate several dozens of these; but restraint was needed.

Yelp
It's food truck Fridays at Trinity Falls where we live, and Ruthie's showed up with their sandwiches. We ordered the El Cubano (for me) and the Turkey Trot (for my wife) both of which were absolutely magnificent. In mine, there was the pulled pork, ham, Swiss cheese and pickles on a nice sourdough Texas style toast. The meat was tender, very flavorful and a very respectable version of the classic sandwich. Texas sized as well. My wife loved her Turkey Trot (dry because she's not a sauce person). Even without the slob sauce she loved how flavorful the bacon, turkey and cheddar was together on that toasted sourdough. Praiseworthy sammies to be sure! A word about the truck: the staff were quick, friendly and groovin' to Earth Wind and Fire while they whipped up our tasty morsels. Everything looked clean and tidy, and it was obvious that they enjoyed being here to serve up their goodies tonight. If you see them on the street, roll on up - you won't be disappointed!
