Ruthie's Steaks & Seafood

Oof. One of our friends made reservations here for us on Valentine's Day weekend. We were in Davenport for the weekend and wanted a nice dinner. After she made reservations I looked at the reviews and was a little concerned, but I still had an open mind. Literally as soon as we walked in it was a bad experience. We had a reservation and they didn't get us in until 20 minutes after our reservation. I understand it's a busy weekend so I was giving them some Grace. But there was zero hustle with a lot of their staff. There were three women at the hostess counter and I'm not exactly sure why they needed three of them. Only one was actually moving around getting things done. When there was an empty table there was no hustle to clear it off and get more people seated. Like even the way the servers walked was slow. I witnessed it all night long. Our server had zero personality and was not friendly at all. She wasn't mean. She was just mediocre. For the price that you are paying here, the service and hustle should be a lot more! I will not go again and I do not recommend. Honestly they're lucky I'm giving them three stars instead of the less. The vibe is cool and the food is good. I do like family style sides. I don't like how the corn was advertised 'Headtland' when it was actually out of a can. You would think after them reading all these reviews they would train their servers better to get the job done and step up their game. I have been in the service industry nearly all my life and my daughter is currently in the service industry and when I was telling her about it she was appalled. The quicker you serve people and get things turned around the more money you will make so I don't understand the concept of being slow.

I ate here three times during my business trip. The first time I ordered a sirloin with Parmesan cheese on top and asked for broccoli as a side. The steak was delicious, but Aubrey didn’t bring me a steak knife, and instead of telling me that broccoli wasn’t on the menu, she just brought broccolini. Maybe she didn’t hear me well, it’s ok. The second time I ordered the rack of lamb, and everything was very good. The third time I ordered the sirloin steak with Parmesan cheese again. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as good as the first time. Aubrey served me again, and once more she forgot to bring me a steak knife. This time I had to ask for it. She also said that potatoes will be small, but you can see it in my picture 🤣

Service was very slow. Our waitress was too busy chit chatting with a lady 2 tables behind us. Waited 20 minutes for bread and our drinks while people that just were seated received theirs pretty much right away. Finally received our food and our steaks were cold. My wife and I preferred ours medium and hers came out rare. We didn’t say anything because we didn’t want to be there forever. We ordered the cake for dessert and took a bite and it was stale. We waited another 15 minutes for our waitress to come over and when she finally did they offered us another piece of cake we said no but they did give us a different piece to take home no charge. We spent well over $100 for our meals and I’ve had better food at Texas Roadhouse. Very disappointed. Don’t think we’ll be back.

I booked Ruthie’s one month in advance for my birthday dinner and had a very poor experience from management. I worked directly with Barbara, Director of Sales, to reserve a private room for a party of 20 with a $1,200 minimum. At no point in emails, phone calls, or the contract was it stated that guests were required to tip 20% individually, or that I would be responsible for other people’s tips. Our original date was rescheduled by Ruthie’s due to weather, and we rebooked for Dec. 11 at 5pm with 13 guests. We were placed in a tiny room, so small my decorator couldn’t complete the décor I paid $165 for. Service and food were unacceptable: • Long waits for drinks (over an hour) • Multiple guests sent food back • Steak ordered medium-rare came out well-done, then returned even worse • One guest never got to eat and still tipped for what little he received At the end of the night, we were told we exceeded the minimum and everything was fine. I paid my bill in full. Two days later, Barbara called stating Ruthie’s was keeping my $200 deposit because my guests allegedly didn’t tip 20%. This was never disclosed. While on the phone, she tried to email me to claim it was in the contract, but the contract clearly states I was only responsible for my own bill, which she drafted. She could not justify the charge and hung up. Multiple calls and emails from myself and my guests were ignored, forcing me to file a bank dispute. There were also concerning racial undertones. Barbara asked me while booking if I had “ever been to fine dining,” which was offensive. Additionally, a Black woman arriving with her white colleagues was separated from her party and placed in our room, which was entirely Black guests. I do not recommend Ruthie’s for celebrations, especially for people of color. This experience was deceptive, unprofessional, and left me feeling scammed.

We booked a private room for an event for our family and overall the appetizers and other sides were exceptional. When it came time to ordering the entrees I ordered a 14oz New York strip medium rare. Everyone’s food came out and I cut into mine and it was very clearly well done. I would expect a mistake like this from a lower quality steak house but for a 1000$ minimum restaurant this is just not expectable.

We were staying at the resort for the weekend and had a party of 8 and decided to have dinner at Ruthie’s. We ordered multiple appetizers, entrees, and sides, even desert. The staff were very friendly, the decor and atmosphere are nice, however the food was very lack luster. My husband and I both ordered ribeye steaks, and for as “fancy” as Ruthie’s looks, the food didn’t live up to it. Also, it was very hard to get any drinks. It was at least 30 minutes from the time you ordered, until you received your drink, so some of our party started ordering 2 at a time so we didn’t have to wait for refills so long.

Just do it. Such a beautiful atmosphere and experience with delicious food and views. Located at the top floor of the casino, the moment you walk through the doors you won’t want to leave. Went for Valentine’s Day and made a reservation a few weeks prior and every single dish was hot and cooked to absolute perfection. When your server asks you about dessert… just do it. Let’s just say the crème brûlée is our newest craving and you’ll be thinking about it for days after :)

This was our 3rd trip to the casino. We decided to try Ruthie’s for our Thanksgiving dinner. We were seated in a timely fashion, but after that it took over 10 minutes for the waiter to even acknowledge us. When he did it felt like he was annoyed. Straight face, no smile, zero personality. He brought us a basket of bread and told us more was being made and he would bring more out later. That never happened even after I asked. We both ordered Caesar salads which I order all the time when we go out. I’ve never seen it presented as two stalks of romaine with the dressing and cheese over the top. Not fun having to saw through lettuce with a butter knife. . Steaks were great. Both cooked as we expected. Dessert was also good. The bill was $148. We gave the waiter two $100 bills which were laid out in a way that he saw how much was there then proceeds to ask us if we needed change. We always tip 20% and sometimes more for outstanding service but to think he was getting a $50 tip was a bit presumptuous especially after giving us mediocre service.. Next time we will eat at the buffet downstairs. Far better than Ruthie’s!

First of all, the atmosphere is elegant and extremely comfortable. Secondly, our service was outstanding. Gracie, our server, was extremely pleasant and always there to help! After we finished our meal, we went to the bar with our wine to see how that was. The bartenders were very nice and always checking to see if we needed anything. Lastly, the food was outstanding! I have the baked oysters for an appetizer, and they were excellent. I had the seafood pasta, and it was also outstanding. My wife had the steak medallions and shrimp......excellent and she couldn't eat it all! An excellent experience with outstanding food and super service.

A PHENOMENAL steak house!!! My socks were blown off by this place!! Prices are beyond reasonable for the prorations and quality of the food!! My partner and I were in town for a weekend get away for my birthday! Our original plans got canceled, thanks Southwest. So we decided to leave the city, Chicago, and make our way to Rhythms casino! We were able to make reservations last min. Our server was so joyful and nice! She made fabulous suggestions. I ordered the Filet Medallions & Shrimp, filets were cooked to perfection! The shrimp was well seasoned and juicy. And the mashed potatoes were delicious!! My partner opted for the lamb chops and a side of Brussels! Since it was my birthday, we couldn't leave without dessert! We had this amazing raspberry chocolate mousse tart! Super rich but amazing!! Can't wait to be back!

We enjoyed Ruthie's dining experience last evening. It truly is the best fine dining in the area. I define fine dining by excellent food, great service, atmosphere, friendliness of staff, cleanliness and yes, linens. Ruthie's has it all. It is our go to place for special occasions. A special thanks to Steve, our waiter. He is very knowledgeable of the menu with impeccable service. The prices are comparable to most steak houses in the Quad Cities. Jim & Kathie R.

I have always had a great experience, but last night especially was stellar. If you want an amazing meal, beautiful ambiance, an incredible view, and amazing service, Ruthie's is the only restaurant around here that hits everything perfectly. As soon as you walk down the hall up to the entrance with that gorgeous glass bar area it sets the mood and feeling that you know it'll be a special meal and place. We were seated right away and with a perfect view of the gorgeous sun setting. Being able to watch that while dining was just magical. Cierra was our server and she was wonderful, friendly, professional, and made it a perfect experience. The menu has a big selection and everyone can find something they will love. The mushroom soup was delicious and the steaks were all perfectly cooked and beyond expectation. Since it was my boyfriends birthday, they brought him this beautiful birds nest chocolate cake that was to die for. I can't say enough about the whole experience. It was the first time my boyfriend dined there and since it was his birthday also I really wanted it to be special and he just loved everything. Thank you for making it such a wonderful night Ruthies!!

Had an excellent dinner for a birthday celebration. First time here and not the last! Excellent service and food. Had a cocktail at the bar before dinner. Well made. Steak was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Sides were sized to share and tasty. Excellent ambiance with a view of the surrounding area. Sort of peaceful. Not that large of a place. A couple of rooms that would be nice for business dinners. Worth a trip to the casino just to eat here.

Our first time here was nothing but great! We made reservations online ahead of time for my birthday. The staff was great, the food was great, the drinks were great, and they offered a birthday cake with a candle as well! Definitely will be back

Met a couple friends of friends to have dinner, wanted to see if it would live up to the hype. We all ordered the 14oz prime New York strip. It was served piping hot with melted butter. It was not as lean as I like and it lacked any real flavor. The corn and mashed potatoes were ordered for sides, which were good. If I go back I would order the filet mignon, hopefully it would be leaner. The crab cakes and Cesar salad were ok. The ambiance was good and the service was great. My husband old fashion was spectacular, a specialty of their's told. Overall, I would be willing to go back. But for the prices they charge, I didn't feel like the restaurant was anything extraordinary. I've been to other places in the same price range that were extremely better.

Not that overly impressed. Certainly not at the prices they ask. They do make a good try at it, I'll give them that, but......it is a little bit more show that go. Caesar salad, the salad dressing had a bitter taste to it. There were other things and concerning the entree's but I'm not going to write a book here. In our opinion the prices are more than plenty for what it is and I'll just leave it at that.

We have eaten here a number of times and had good service and excellent food. Our experience this evening was so bad we question if we will return. Being a steakhouse, I assume going in that the chef knows how to properly prepare a steak. My steak that was supposed to be Medium came out with virtually no pink on the verge of being well done. For paying $46 for it, and it being a steak house I was not going to settle for a clearly over done steak. I get it, mistakes happen, they took the steak back. I started on my half of an $11 "loaded potato" that was cold. $11 for a single baked potato with three small pieces of "pork belly" and some shredded cheddar, seemed pretty expensive, but for it to also be cold (room temperature at best). So now as my boyfriend eats his meal, i wait patiently, then not so patiently for my food. Our waitress remans mostly MIA throughout dinner service leaving our glasses almost always empty. 30 plus minutes after sending the steak back i did finally receive my steak and potato. Thankfully cooked properly. The steak was OK, but not great. Iur waitress was then very slow to get us our check. I was astounded to find that my meal had not ben discounted or comped in any way. I certainly did nit expect to spend an extra 46 minutes to eat my meal. Food was a 3/5 once i got what we ordered Service was 1/5 Ambiance 4/5

Went there for our anniversary. Both of us enjoyed our meals. The only negative thing I can say taste wise is I wasn't a big fan of the complimentary bread. But it's free, so whatever. The French onion soup was phenomenal but ordered my steak rare and it came medium. Service was 5/5

Prime rib was juicy, had good flavor but was very chewy. King crab was $120. Seems a little excessive.

Had a first date at this rather fancy and elegant restaurant. Surprisingly, located inside of a casino, this 5-star restaurant has its on floor. Both my date and I were dressed rather sharply and excited once we reached the long stretching hallway that was pretty reminiscent of the 'Red Room'. Unfortunately, that night we were the only black faces in the room. So evident, that the entire room became quiet once we were completely visible to them. Once the awkward and long stares ceased, we had exceptional customer service and close to a spectacular dining experience. Bread and butter were served to the table. Raisin Pecan and Parmesan Asiago cheese bread with daily housemate butters like sweet potato spice and sherry herb butter plus, garlic olive oil and balsamic parmesan. Each infused butter was spectacular. So much in fact, I'll be trying my own butters at home! But my absolute favorite dipping sauce was the lemon aioli for the fried calamari. The calamari was fried perfectly. And they did not skimp on the full body squids, which I LOVE!!! I even ordered extra aioli for dipping of the entrees! I also really enjoyed the lobster bisque. It has a different shade of orange color which I inquired about. Still thick and smooth. Trick is using a dry wine, even a sherry... The Prime Delmonico and The Seafood Pasta made with sautéed shrimp, seared sea scallops, lobster chunks, linguini, frangelico cream were both good but I preferred the pasta. Ordered with the steak was the loaded baked potato. Which is literally a huge potato that the split wide open and divvy up! It's actually beautiful. Mac n cheese not bad but the potato is the real winner. I noticed potatoes being walked out to tables all over the restaurant! Foodie tip: order extra sauce! The steak wasn't cooked quite to my liking (sent it back twice for medium well, still settled in the end) but still very tasty. The pasta was bomb af! Wish I had more of it now. And since we waited on the steak, the waitress added a slice of caramel sea salt cheesecake that was pretty divine.

Everything was wonderful. I got the Maryland Delmonico Steak and my wife got the 6oz Filet. Great service. Cole was awesome!

My quest for best meal in Davenport continues, so Ruthie's is obviously at the top of the list. It's located on the 6th floor of the casino and provides pretty great views of the area. The ambience was a bit stuffy for me, but I don't blame Ruthie's, I blame the older more sophisticated Thursday night crowd. Enough small talk, get to the food!! So I started with the calamari. No frills or thrills and comes as one would expect. Not great but not bad. For my entree I had the delmonaco steak (is that really how it's spelled) and topped it with lump crab meat. The steak was pretty awesome, cooked just right, and the crab meat was a good addition. There are fatty parts to the steak but fat adds flavor right! The accompanying sauce was good, didn't overpower, but honestly was unnecessary considering how good the steak was. Basically, I could have done without the sauce. Also, great service, Shannon took the time to give me her recommendations, help me pick out a glass of wine, and totally sold the dessert! Sadly I was stuffed but will hopefully make it back for the cheesecake. Is it the best in the area? One could justifiably argue that other steakhouses are just as good, more accessible and at a lower price point. But you won't be disappointed with the experience at Ruthie's if you do make it out that way.

One of our favorite places to eat in the Quad Cities! We love the atmosphere & enjoy watching the sunset from all the floor to ceiling windows. Food & service are spectacular & we enjoy trying their cocktail of the month.

This place is outstanding! Wonderful food, incredible service and very welcoming! The filet was so tender I cut it with my fork, the shrimp were huge, and because our waitress found out it was our anniversary, we were sent home with a complimentary chocolate cake that was to die for! We will definitely be back!!

This restaurant is perfection in every way. It is literally the definition of fine dining. My meal choice was the salmon with asparagus risotto and it was mouth watering. A basket of a variety of bread is brought to your table before your meal which was served with a herb butter, strawberry rhubarb butter and an olive oil. Our host and waitress couldn't have been nicer and attentive! They also made the meal a pleasure. The view from the restaurant is magnificent! The restaurant is on the top floor and glass is on 3 sides for you to view the sunset while you dine and sip your wine. Don't miss an extraordinary dining experience at Ruthies.

Attempted to have a nice dinner for a table for 3. We arrived 20 minutes earlier than our reservation time. We checked in at the front desk and was told our table would not be ready until our reserved time. We waited in the bar. Twenty minutes AFTER our reservation time, we were still waiting for our table. My husband asked the front desk what the problem was and he was told that I needed to let them know when we were ready for our table. WHAAT??? Never have I ever heard of such a rule. I initially checked in them. I have to check in twice? That's absurd. The restaurant was not busy at that time and we watched them set a high top table for 3 in the bar with 3 menus right behind our barstools. We assumed that was our table because no else sat there. When you pay Chicago prices, you expect a Chicago experience...it was far from it. The manager was rude and offered no apology. We left and went to our hometown bar/restaurant and had a great meal with great service. We will NEVER go back to Ruthie's at Rythym City Casino in Davenport, IA.

Ruthies! We have had many great meals here. It's a fun go-to for a fancier dinner. They really do an amazing job! My fave is their filet with caramelized bacon marmalade on top. They also have a great wedge salad! The view is fun also! Wait staff is always spot on.

My husband and I booked a dinner reservation here for our anniversary. To say we were happy with the service and food would be an understatement. Everything was excellent!! Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and our entire experience was one that we won't soon forget. We highly recommend Ruthie's to anyone!

Visited on a bury Saturday night - walked in and the host was able to sneak us in - it was about a 30 minute wait quoted and that's what it was. Out waitress Danielle was amazing, food was great had a Caesar salad, New York strip and shrimp with family style Yukon garlic mashed potato and wild mushrooms - and last the carrot cake! Bar tab was not bad either. Great night out with an amazing view!

For fine dining, this place fell way below my expectations. The price was on par with other steak houses so I was expecting good quality food for what we were paying. Pros - Beautiful view of classic Iowa landscape. The bread/butter they brought out was one of the best I've ever had. So much so that I would rather have had the bread than the actual entrees. They had a Tuesday night special where we received a free bottle of wine with two entrees. Con - Everything else. One member of my party ordered a "Perfect Manhattan." They had a full bar and it is a fine dining restaurant so I would expect them to either know what that is or use the internet to find out. Instead, the waiter stared at us and said he didn't know what that was so my companion had to explain it to him. The crab cake appetizer was a mushy mess, there was no hold to them at all. It definitely was not a "cake" but more like crab pudding. And the biggest offense? Two fillets were ordered at medium rare and they both came out medium-well, not pink at all. No we didn't send them back because at this point I was just eating bread and didn't want to make it an uncomfortable/awkward dining experience for my other two companions.

I had gone to Ruthie's nearly 3 years ago, when they had just opened and we were all somewhat disappointed. For the past 2 years, I have been hearing countless friends tell me how delicious it has been, so I went last night with my 2 best friends for dinner, and I was BLOWN AWAY! It was a packed house, which I think is pretty telling, and everything from service, to the drink selection, to the oysters appetizer, and finally our mains were all exceptional. My friends ordered steaks, and I ordered the scallops. They were cooked perfectly and presented so nicely. This was definitely a fine dining experience, and they really do deliver now! I will definitely be back!

Came in solo and was afraid I would be ignored. But my server, Catherine was outstanding. Even though she was busy, she gave me great service. She is an asset to this fine restaurant

This dinner was absolutely delicious!! Wedge Salad with French Dressing, lobster stuffed with crab meat and a filet that was out of this world! Lobster tail was sweet and so tasty! This place is amazing!!!

Wow. Just wow. We had a poor experience with the service a few months ago, although the food was fantastic. We decided to give it another shot tonite with some dear friends and am SOOO glad we did. The service was truly phenomenal and so professional. The manager, Matt, was extremely customer service focused, friendly and very serious about ascertaining we had an amazing experience. Brittany, our server, was prompt, friendly and gave some great recommendations. We spent over three hours here between appetizers and drinks and dinner and desserts and were never felt rushed or that we needed to leave so they could have the table for more customers. This was one of the top dinners we've had in this area and we've lived here for a decade. Thanks, Ruthie's!! So glad we can back and we will definitely come again. We had an amazing time tonite and would recommend this place to everyone! .

This place is just absolutely amazing. Our server was Steve he helped us out and gave recommendations for our first time. I took my boyfriend here for his 21st birthday and was the perfect occasion. It was a busy place so i highly recommend making reservations in advance. I got the maryland ribeye & he ate the 14 oz steak delmonico. Would definitely go again !

Dinner here was amazing. Sure, it's a bit expensive, but so worth it!! Had a spectacular view from the sixth floor. Food and sides were delicious, my steak was cooked to perfection, and even the desserts were amazing. Waitress was very friendly and gave her opinions on what sides to try. Ruthie's is one of the very few restaurants that makes coffee using a French Press.  In my opinion, is the best way to brew coffee. I would absolutely make a reservation here again.

Our flight to another destination was cancelled at the last minute so my husband and I drove from Kansas City to Davenport to explore the town and see the beautiful fireworks on river over the July 4th weekend. The next night we treated ourselves to dinner at Ruthie's and were wowed again. The restaurant is on the 5th floor and beautiful. The room has a semi round bar with a starlit ceiling and a light interior that's walled with ceiling to floor windows. The food and service were exceptional as well. Our waiter, Nickolas, was outstanding - professional and conversational. We had the filet Medallions & Shrimp and the Wild Striped Bass. It's a meal we'll both remember for a long time to come.

Chose to go here for a special evening with my wife. The staff was friendly and the "complementary bread basket " and unique butters were a good start as was the delicious soup. The scallops entree looked delicious, too bad it was cold shortly after being served. The special 12oz rib eye was something else. Asked for medium and received thin slice that had been grilled on both side to warm it up I suspect. The only way it could have been 12 or would have been the 4 ounces of aweful steak sauce splattered on it. I guess that is what to expect there for the $40 ala cart. Next time we'll go to Hardee's. BTW desert was very good.

Cool setting for a nice date night but two issues: 1) The service was so slow, especially considering the restaurant was half full. Part of the issue is organization: the order in which things were brought out or offered was off. An example would be that our waitress (who does get points for being friendly) brought our bottle of wine, set it on the table, and then left to do something else without opening it. It wasn't opened until after our meal was served. 2) The food is average for the prices. Bonus points to the prime rib - it was very good. Same for the mac and cheese. The strip and filet were underwhelming. The highlight of the night was the pheasant appetizer. Absolutely delicious!

I dined solo at the bar on 08/31/2019. My Hendricks martini was perfect; my shrimp cocktail was ice-cold, jumbo and fresh; my 10 oz. sirloin was a bit over-done at medium-well to well, rather than medium, but the sauce au poivre was terrific as was the creamed spinach. Alex at the bar really took good care of me without being intrusive and the whole experience from curbside to departure was great. You can always find a Negative Norman or Negative Nancy on Yelp, but Ruthie's is serving up really high-quality NYC/Chicago-style steakhouse fare at very attractive prices. I would go.

Absolutely amazing! Catie was our server for the evening and she was great. So attentive, answered all our questions, and was so sweet! The food was absolutely delicious. The lobster bisque is the best soup I've ever had, hands downSWorth every single penny. Already looking forward to coming back.

I visited Ruthie's a couple of years ago for a company dinner. The service was lousy and my scallops were gritty because they hadn't been cleaned properly. I can't recommend this restaurant, especially for the prices they're charging. The buffet downstairs will give you at least twice as bang for/your buck.

We came to Ruthie's for our anniversary, what a wonderful place for dinner. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared and tasted delightful. The view was an added bonus. Definitely going back whenever the perfect time arises.

We made a reservation to eat here (Christmas) there were only 6 other tables seated. We sat for 25 minutes without even being offered water. The table beside us received service, but we never did. After 25 min of disgust we left. The hostess thanked us and we relayed on our experience. Shortly After I received a call offering to pay for our entrees our next time... I have no intention of ever going back. Not only did it ruin our dinner plans, but our Christmas dinner plans. Horrible.

Not impressed. Went there for a bachelor party when they first opened. They put sardines in my salad which I get but a heads up would've been nice spent the rest of the night hungry and our server just laughed when I brought it up.

Mother's Day brunch-food was very good, atmosphere very nice, service was marginal. Our party of 6 arrived at various times. Drinks were slow to arrive. No overall "Happy Mother's Day" or "Welcome to Ruthies" or even an explanation of the buffet. We finally asked if we should just go to the buffet and she said 'yes' just go whenever you want. Then, as we finished starters and salads had to ask someone to clear plates as we had them stacked in between people. Waitress was just not friendly or very welcoming and at times was inattentive. Food was set up ins stations which really helped the flow. No long lines or waits. Some great options that you can't get elsewhere - oysters, crab cakes, excellent shrimp. And the dessert bar was fabulous as well. Dining area was quiet so you could have a nice conversation. Would have rated a 4/5 star if we had a top notch waitress. For this nice of a restaurant the wait staff should better.

What a delight! Elegant, quiet, carpet and drapes, table clothe, not glass!! Oh, and did I mention that the food was great? It is! A bit pricey. Save room for their fabulous dark chocolate cake. So good and not too sweet. Fantastic views.

This place has a great steak. Extremely pricey. If you want to get dressed up and go out to an upscale steakhouse, this place is perfect. Great service and great ambiance. Make reservations!!

My husband took me to Ruthie's for my Birthday and we both had great meals and service. We were lucky to get Amber as our server and she was friendly, thoughtful, informative and made my Birthday celebration extra special. The décor is First Class and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I loved my Scallops and my husband had a great steak! If you like Calamari, I highly recommend ordering them for an appetizer, theirs were over the top! We will definitely return again for a special evening or celebration!

2 of us ate at Ruthie's this past Saturday, 12/29/18. Our bill was $160.00 for cold, tasteless food! Our steaks were cold, our baked potato was so cold it wouldn't even melt the butter! We ordered asparagus as our side dish to share and it was cold and had zero flavor!! I couldn't add enough salt to give it any flavor and the slightly drizzled hollandaise sauce they put on top was hard and, like everything else, cold! I ordered a glass of wine and got a shot glass size of wine, they could at least fill your wine glass halfway for $9.00! So I decided to switch to beer and got 3/4 glass of beer, they can't even fill a beer glass to the top!!! Then I decided I would have a cup of coffee after dinner, how can they screw that up right?! Wrong Again!! It was barely lukewarm!!

Simply excellent. A great new addition to fine dining in the quad cities. The casino is very poor, but ruthies will be in our permanent dining rotation. One nit, when ordering lobster make sure you ask for it plain. Comes with a light breading which isn't bad, but it's lobster! No need to "iowa" it. Still very, very good.

This place is brand new. Open only two weeks so I'll cut the service some slack because they are obviously still working out the kinks. We were seated right away and from our seat we had a decent view. There were only about 10 tables occupied so not very busy. We had to wait seated about 10 minutes before someone came to us and gave us water. We ordered some drinks and then our meal and soup to start. The soup bowl was the single most stupidest design I've ever seen. Think flying saucer. The small bowl in the middle was surrounded by sloping edges. So sloped that if you dribbled soup it would roll towards you in your lap. After the soup we received our bread basket. Yes I said after the soup. Why? I don't know. When I say that I don't mean what you would think of like at an Olive Garden. They brought two slices of crostini sized white bread and one thick slice of a type of raisin bread. The butter tray had a choice of a sweet butter, a whipped butter, and a small dish or olive oil mixed with balsamic vinegar. Needless to say there was not enough bread put a dent in the amount of spreads and dips on the tray. We then received our main course. I ordered the filet medallions with shrimp. The meat was cooked as ordered and the shrimp was covered with a type of hollandaise sauce and crispy onion strings. Two tiny medallions set atop half a Yukon gold smashed potato. Not worth $38. As we were getting the bill we heard our waitress tell the table next to us about the drink and food specials. It would have been nice to here those as we would have tried them but were never given the opportunity. It took about 10 more minutes before someone came around to get our payment. We saw what looked like a manager walking around the floor but didn't bother to stop at any tables to ask how things were. Our waitress was quite frazzled saying how slammed they were but the room was all but empty except maybe 10 other tables. We will not be back and unless they fix the kinks quickly, they'll be less tables for them to worry about. This place is very pricey for what you get. We didn't feel it was worth it.
