Ruth's Chris Steak House

After leaving church on a Sunday, happy peaceful and feeling blessed, me and my friend went to Ruth Chris after church. But unfortunately Austin was the server at the bar. I ordered a margarita and asked for no salt and it came with salt so he immediately snatched it back, said I didn’t order it without salt and then expressed his disgust with me after asking if there would be more seafood in the gumbo today. I didn’t have an attitude or any issue with him until he said he’s not going to argue with me. Don’t get me wrong, as a black female I make sure I represent myself in a way that is respectful and reasonable with any staff as I’m ordering my food or drinks. Austin is a white man with red hair in a ponytail and point blank told me I could leave and go to the dining section and out of his section as he proceeded to laugh, smile and greet the other guests who looked nothing like me. I am really still in shock and can’t believe management allowed him to continue his shift and no repercussions whatsoever were made. It made my dinner with my best friend an uncomfortable situation. I can’t express how I felt. But it’s more feeling ashamed that I was treated the way I was with no apology or anything. Russel offered us the opportunity to sit in his section and he took care of us with pride and respect, he was so polite and understanding to my frustrations. I apologized to him foe being so aggravated, I give him 10 out of 10 stars to him. His patience was admirable. However, Austin made my experience horrible. I’m sure he won’t be reprimanded and he could care less how he made me feel but for anyone of color reading this, please be mindful that this server is very rude, nasty and in your face letting you know, he will not serve us with the same respect he serves others!!!! Ruth Chris…do better!

This was one of the BEST dining experiences that I e had in a long time! The food was absolutely amazing! If you’re a steak lover like myself, I highly recommend the Cowboys Ribeye! It was fantastic! And our server, Dexter, was excellent in his service and professionalism! He recommended everything that we ordered, and he did not miss! Everything was perfect!

This was our first time dining at Ruth's Chris and the experience was wonderful. The hostess greeted us as we walked in and we were seated shortly after our reservation time. Our server JP was awesome. He took the time to answer any questions about the menu and was attentive throughout our dining experience. The food was top tier. We really enjoyed the chilled seafood tower and our cowboy ribeyes were buttery soft. We also had the Brussel sprouts and lobster mac and cheese that was delicious as well. Overall we enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner at Ruth's Chris!

I had a real hard time getting inside the restaurant. You need to enter through a hotel entrance and buzz in as they lock other doors after a certain time. I was there on a Monday night. The seafood tower was spectacular and I also had a rib eye with extra butter and cheesy potatoes. The service was really good as one would expect. I'm giving this a 3 due to the difficulty getting inside and the lack of any effort regarding the celebration I was there for. Open table asked if we were celebrating anything as did our server. I was there to celebrate my son's highs school graduation. I was hoping for maybe a complimentary desert or something.

Ate here tonight while in town and had the best service I’ve had in a while. Our server Juan-Pierre was absolutely wonderful! Attentive. Hospitable. And very professional. I had a small issue with how my state came out and the management team went above and beyond to make it right as well. The staff is top-notch and makes this dining experience truly worth coming!

It pains me to give Ruth's Chris 4 🌟 but it is what it is! Our waitress was training someone. That's fine. However, neither of them were very present. There was such a gap in time frames from when we wanted to move past drinks, apps, to entree, along with anything in-between. We were a party of 4. Then our order came out wrong. We obviously waited to address it with our waitress and she acted as if we were just expressing remorse but wanted to stick it out. What? No ma'am. We would like what we ordered and how we ordered it. So management came out. He resolved it but it literally didn't have to get to his attention. She just wasn't attentive & lack awareness. The corrected order was great. Management was great. Service ho-hum.

Special thanks to Megan Cromwell, Director of Guest Relations, and Dawn, my Server, for my Belated Birthday Celebration at Ruth's Chris! I was blessed to receive a gift certificate from someone with a very generous heart. God is good! I had the Barbecue Shrimp Appetizer, Petite Filet, Caesar Salad, Baked Potato and Warm Apple Crumb Tart, and a cheese cake. Dawn (in the picture) was my Server. He was extremely professional, kind, and provided me with optimum service! Fiorella, The Chef, Adia, Ja'Michael and Lala, were all very very kind. Thank you Ruth's Chris, for a wonderful experience. Dawn was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing! He made our lemon drops and they were so good! My friend let him know it was my birthday and he brought out a beautiful birthday slice for me! Service was 10/10.

Overall great experience here while looking to dine in Atlanta on our trip. We were seated quickly for being walk inside and staff was very friendly. The food is good, I'll be honest that I'm not sure about the quality to price point as the prices are very high. I did enjoy my experience but 3 things I would say would be that the entrance was hard to find at first, the plate my steak was on was so extremely hot and continued to cook my steak and I had to wait forever for the shrimp to cool and then lastly towards the end of dinner our waiter disappeared for awhile so we waited longer than we wanted to to get the check and the dessert so we could get back to the hotel. Not big complaints but feedback. Would still recommend.

We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary at the Marietta Street location on 11/16/24. James was our server. He was efficient, professional and provided great service!!! FIVE STARS FOR HIM!!! HOWEVER, the food was subpar. Not great at all. The steaks were not cooked (nor seasoned) as ordered. I had medium well and the hubby had well done. Both had to be sent back. My salad contained croutons and eggs - both of which I am allergic to (yes, they were informed of my allergies). This experience was definitely NOT what is expected of a $300 meal. We were disappointed to say the least. But James certainly made the experience better.

James was wonderful! Our daughters were celebrating winning Cheersport and he put candles in dessert and celebrated them with us.

This is my first Ruth Chris experience so expectations were high maybe too high . The food to me was just OK. The vibe was decent, but not as formal or fancy as I thought it would be. The best part by far was our service by the servers. We are very well taken care of. We did have an issue with our steak. We both got a very small steak 6 ounce cooked medium, but it looks of grayish color to me that meant the steak was old and it wasn't very well received by who I think was a manager. He believed that it would come out the same. I would not return to this particular location.

We come here first the sea bass! It is delicious. The grilled asparagus is tasty. The tuna starter is light and refreshing and yummy. Ravioli starter is also good. Service was slow last time we went but overall a good experience.

My favorite food here is their fries. Don't care for their steak unfortunately. But I do love the ambience! It's very beautiful inside!!

This makes my second time here now with the first being over 10 years ago. Michael was my server and he was a pro from the beginning. I ordered off the classics menu with the filet and shrimp with a side spinach . And the house salad with the famous blue cheese they make in house. I have ate at high end steak houses all over the USA and to me when Ruth's Chris does it right, nobody does it better . The filet came out sizzling as it should. From the salad to the desert it was perfect. Nobody and I mean nobody does beef as well as Ruth's Chris. Thanks for a truly amazing dinner. If there is a better filet than this I've not had it yet.

Food was outstanding and Dexter our server took excellent care of us. We will be returning for sure!

Ambiance was great. I love the dim lights; brings a calm & quiet to the restaurant. Our waitress was awesome. Very attentive to our needs & had great suggestions. The lamb chops were not bad, but not good enough to get again. The steak was absolute perfection. The lobster mac was not flavorful, very bland but full of lobster. The loaded mash potatoes were "slap ya mama" good. Their salads were very good as well!

Nope! Nope! Never again. Made reservations for 7 pm. Their valet parking lot was full, so we had to park in a separate area, which made us 10 minutes late, into the restaurant. We made sure to call the greeter, to let them know what was happening. When we got inside, we were told that it would be a moment......we ended up waiting a half hour, to be seated at a table. When we got seated, it was 18 minutes, before we even got our thirst quenched with water. No one came to say anything to us. We were sitting ducks, waiting to be shot. Finally, our server came over, and apologized......said that they were busy. Hmmmmm? Too busy to acknowledge us and get us water? No bread either. We ordered our food, and our drinks came fairly quickly. We had the Strawberry Rocks Rita and the Gentleman. Both good and potent. We ordered the 22 oz ribeye, medium rare, lobster Mac, Brussel sprouts, and the loaded mashed potatoes. For starters, we ordered the stuffed mushrooms....oh, still no bread yet. The mushrooms came out. They were ok. An ok flavor, with a mushy center. The ribeye looked great. I cut into it, and it was perfectly cooked. It was juicy and well seasoned. The lobster Mac and cheese needed salt and pepper. Other than that, the noodles were cooked perfectly, there was an ample amount of cheese, and the lobster was abundant. The Brussel sprouts were just ok. They didn't have a crunch to them. The drinks were great. Very well made. The creme Brule was amazing! That was probably my favorite part of the night. I have nothing particularly bad to say about the food. The service is just terrible. For the price to go and eat here, there should be soooo much better. That was truly disappointing. By the way... when I was researching this establishment, they said that there was a dress code. It wasn't yall. It was people in sweatsuits, baseball hats, jerseys....you name it. Come as you are, you won't get turned around.

Food and service were amazing. Our waiter Christian was very attentive, personable, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend coming here and enjoying a meal.

Do not order as room service from Embassy suites. It's the most basic, unimpressive room service food charged at Ruth Chris' prices. The worst meal I've had in a long time.

The food was fantastic. Beware, the plates are hot, and our server did not tell us. I burnt my finger. Our service could have been much better. We had to ask multiple times for drinks, to order, and for someone to remove plates after each course. They were not busy, as they had more staff than guests, so there is no excuse for why we could not get fantastic service. Most of the staff were hanging out on their phones and socializing. I work in a customer-facing business, so maybe my expectations are high. This restaurant was poorly managed, which is too bad because the food was excellent.

This has to be one of my favorite and it might be because of the surprise I had with my meal. Absolutely amazing and it's was the tournedos and shrimp and I gotta tell you it blew me away. The perfect meal. I sat at the bar and enjoyed it with a perfect glass of Malbec

Buyer beware this is not the Ruth's Chris that you may be use to. The bread came out as breadsticks and appear to be the same as Olive Garden. Our asparagus was not even cooked-came out seasoned and crunchy and the bread pudding for dessert was dry and lacked flavor. We ate here on our first night in Atlanta thinking it would be a good safe bet for dinner but this location appears to be a knock off from what you are likely expecting.

My wife and I rarely get the opportunity to have hot dates because of our busy schedules. Tonight we decided to come to Ruth Chris Steakhouse before heading to the Missy Elliot, Ciara and Busta Rhymes Concert. Our waiter was Juan-Pierre was amazing. Juan was patient and very convincing regarding the menu and selecting the perfect meal for me and my wife. The meal was incredible. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were very generously sized and very tasty. I highly recommend that you spend a special evening at this location at Centennial Park.

Not turning out to be a good experience. We were in for a Hawks/Falcons weekend before Christmas. We've stayed at the Embassy Suites and even eaten at this Ruth Chris around Thanksgiving. We didn't have a reservation, but it wasn't crowded. The hostess seemed to want to direct everyone to the bar where it was loud. We asked for the dining side. Our waitress ended up being the other lady hanging at the hostess stand. We watched her handle several glasses at an empty table before she apologized for the delay and took our drink order. I'm not in the fine dining service industry so maybe there was an unknown urgency I did not understand. Glad that Ruth Chris is pretty much the same in delicious food. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for delicious service.

Had a wonderful experience tonight thanks to our server Juan-Pierre. Asked each of us our names and was so kind. Really felt special. Food was excellent. Really enjoyed this restaurant.

Our server Tatiyuana was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable when it came to menu selections and wine pairings. She also was funny and personable. Everything from ordering our food to getting dessert was great. The food was delicious and exactly how we ordered it too. We have zero complaints. Just so many great things to say. I will be going back and hopefully we can get her again.

Salomon and Leo were an absolutely perfect team. They both provided excellent recommendations for food and drinks. They will be the reasons we return to Ruth's Chris!

Today, I went to Ruth Chris Steakhouse and had the most wonderful experience with a great waiter named Mr. Pierre. Mr. Pierre remembered our names, was very personable and engaging, and the food was delicious.

Christian our server was phenomenal and the suggestions and food were just as good. Highly recommend.

This is the second Ruth's Chris I've eaten at. The steak was amazing. Our server was extremely nice and we got our food pretty fast. Unfortunately we weren't able to reserve a table until 9pm which was our own fault for waiting so last min. We weren't able to get a table until 930. By the time the food came, I was exhausted haha all in all it was a nice dinner and I ate most of the food.

Juan-Piere provided impeccable service. Wine and food recommendations were perfect. Attentiveness to guests was outstanding. Food quality superb and ambiance was perfect

The food was phenomenal, we got the porterhouse it was AMAZING. Shawna was very nice. This restaurant is very high end, and they play amazing music. Be prepared for the best meal of your life.

I chose to come here for dinner because I was confident it would be really good since I have been to other locations. I am disappointed to say that it barely met my expectations. Both the lobster tail and the baked potato were NOT warm when they came out. Our waitress was good, but there seemed to be a lack of communication between her and the manager because the manager never came to our table when the waitress said she would. Overall, I expected better from Ruth's Chris.

This was such a disappointing expensive dinner. I have a seafood allergy and asked for my shrimp to be separated ... order came out steak with shrimp on top ... 15 minutes to redo order while most everyone at the table had their meal. My son's steak came out cold in the middle and 15 min late. My husband's wine didn't come until after the meal. The dessert ( bread pudding) had paper inside Yes we told a manager but only thing offered was a to go dessert Totally disappointment , so many other steak restaurants around this one will not see us again

I tried the Ruth's Chris location near Atlanta's Centennial Park since it was convenient to my hotel. I was sent to the bar since I guess jeans aren't allowed . It was fine and they had select items at reduced prices for happy hour and you can still order off the dinner menu. I picked the crab cakes and lyonnaise potatoes. The crab cakes were very good and mostly crab so I didn't mind the $41 price. The lyonnaise potatoes were not what I have experienced since I've always had hash browns cooked with onions as lyonnaise. While they had some sautéed onion and were crispy and hot I was disappointed to pay$14 for essentially fried. The Paloma was good not anything special. The service was excellent so I added a star for them. I think every waiter and the bar manager stopped by. Great job all!

This was so disappointing....after complaining about the Buckhead location the owner called and said try another location (this was not a COMP VISIT-I want to be clear) so we did! This is a tomahawk pictured...I know you can't tell but it was suppose to be prepared medium. The char was so strong the crust tasted like charcoal..the broccoli that's the second batch that the waiter seasoned so I could have something to eat. The mash potatoes---WHAT IS GOING ON. I almost feel like I want to ask who is the chef is before I dine here. Now there are several places to go in Atlanta but this is BFF favorite spot and at this point I don't know why!!! Shout out to Dexter who was the absolute highlight of this dinner because he tried his hardest to make it right. Lastly we did not ask for a refund but this can not go without a review! This was horrible!!! At $377 and we are headed to cook out!

Dexter was a wonderful server super nice went out of his way to help us have a great dinner. Will be back hope he will serve us again. Food was delicious as well.

Another Thanksgiving at Ruth Chris only to find it drastically changed from previous years. Front of the house hostess sat according to whim and not reservation time. Our waiter took our order and spent more time on his phone than providing courteous prompt service resulting in hot wilting salads and cool dried out entrees. Cold plates with room temperature inedible food. Our night was ruined and we will never return. If wasn't a holiday we would have left as soon as the host staff was seating according to preference.

Great service, great food and our server Juan-Pierre was very knowledgeable and helpful.

My wife & I came for our 26th anniversary. Food was wonderful and our filets were cooked perfectly. Dexter took wonderful care of us, and we didn't want for anything at all during our meal. He is top notch. Female hostess was very friendly as well, I didn't catch her name. Highly recommend with great views of Centennial Park.

Lucky they're in a hotel, because I would bet (a lot) they have no repeat customers unless they're friends of the staff. I can remember when Ruth Chris was actually a reliable steakhouse, sad to see them reaching to be barely adequate (this one failed). $60 lamb entree. This is the greasy plate of fat and bones that was left after we picked out anything edible. Do yourself a favor, go to Johnny Rockets around the corner instead. It'll still be awful, but at least it'll be cheap. I would give one star, but the French press coffee (easily the best thing we ordered) was delicious, and we had one sever (not ours) that really tried to pick up the slack and (I hope) was a real class act and clearly destined for much better establishments than this shit show.

We love Ruth's Chris but this location is ruining its fine name. Quality of steak is no where near the quality of other locations. The chopped salad tasted nothing like it should and the creamed spinach was a bland watery mess. The bearnaise sauce was watery like soup and dripped off my steak. The only good thing I can say is that our waiter Dexter was awesome.

Jessica at Ruth Chris made my day. I was sad about my son moving to another country and ordered to make myself feel better. I told her about my sadness and she made sure my order was complete and timely. I have had problems in past with other restaurants on Uber Eats but Jessica saw to it no mistakes or unfull fill request occurred. Thanks Jessica you and Ruth Chris ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's talk about service first. Our waiter, Christian, was amazing. He gave us great suggestions and information about the menu. At he gave wonderful service. Spot on when you needed him but let us enjoy our meal. This is the best steak I've ever eaten. I'm a foodie so I don't say that lightly. The menu selections are wondeful from a variety of steaks, chops, lamb and seafood. The sides are delicious. Everything was perfectly prepared and served at the right temperature. I would definitely eat here again and again.

Valentine's Day dinner. Parking is self park or valet. Both $20. Unless you use the hotel valet, the other lots are across the street. Not very convenient when you're walking in heels. Ladies, get dropped off at the door. Lol. We had reservations for 545 and waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Considering it was Valentine's Day, it was not very crowded. We had one server bring us water, another bring us bread, and the main waiter arrived shortly after to take our main order. Don't know if that's the norm, but it was interesting. The liquor stock isn't the greatest, I had to go to my 3rd backup drink because they didn't have the first 2. Food was excellent, we didn't wait long at all. Overall, I would be happy to return

Food was good..atmosphere and service were good..I especially enjoyed the sweet potato casserole..what you would expect price wise for that caliber of steakhouse

I love Ruth's! I was visiting the Embassy at Centennial Park and there was a location on the first floor of the hotel and I immediately made a reservation lol. The food and service was awesome, our server was Maya and she was extremely friendly and helpful. She was patient with me and my dinner date who were chatty lol I ordered the ribeye medium which was superb, we shared mashed potatoes and Brussels which were also great. I had a house salad with ranch, also yummy. I'm always a fan at Ruth's and they didn't disappoint!

My husband and I made a reservation through Open Table to come to Ruth Chris on a Sunday evening. When we came, it was the same time as the DST Convention so traffic getting around the city was congested. We arrived a minute or 2 before our reserved time, so I went inside while my husband located the hotel valet parking. There wasn't a wait when I walked in which was good to see. After being seated, we weren't greeted for about 7 minutes. It gave us time to decide what we wanted to eat but we were wondering where our server was. Once he came to our table, he was nice and friendly. He asked if we'd like an appetizer as the food would take a while to come out. Our food took about 20 minutes which was quicker than we expected. I ordered from the Prix Fixe options: salmon filet with loaded mash potatoes and the steak house salad. The salmon was great but just a little too salty for me. Same with the mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the ribeye which he told me multiple times how great it was. I had a bite and it was very flavorful and cooked wonderfully. The only thing that was interesting was the host called us beforehand to confirm our reservation and reiterate the dress code of business casual. I completely understand why that's necessary. However, I walked in and saw sweat pants, jeans/hoodie combo, etc. I guess what's the points of calling/leaving a VM with the dress code and having a sign at the door if it won't be enforced? Nevertheless it was a great experience and we plan to return.

You know the the food at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is going to be great but what made this particular Ruth's Chris special was THE SERVICE! It was so good we went back two days in a row. The staff was friendly, professional and everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there to provide top rate customer service. A true example od Southern Hospitality at its best. The manager came out to greet us so we could compliment him and the staff. Let me tell you, When in Atlanta, Ken Sarna recommends the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse inside the Embassy Suites.

Sierra has been my server several times. Her service was amazing. Always polite and welcoming. We laughed and ate good with Sierra.

I had dinner on Saturday evening, and there were several empty tables. The crab cakes appetizer was delicious. I placed my order for a medium rare porterhouse. After waiting thirty minutes, my steak finally made it to my table. Unfortunately, It was visibly medium well not medium as ordered. I asked for the steak to be sent back. After about ten minutes they ( two managers) brought the same steak back. One stated that as the steak sits in the window, the outside of the cut portions will get darker but if I cut into the steak portions I would see that it was medium. Yes, a couple of portions were medium but 85% of the steak was medium well. I asked that my chopped salad be served with my steak. After it had been sitting awhile it became soggy. Fortunately, they remade my salad. After paying the bill, I spoke with one of the managers about the steak being medium well and his response was "I comped the salad. He completely missed the point of my feedback. Ruth Chris has been my favorite steak restaurant since 2001 but your quality and service execution has fallen. It was a time when no matter what Ruth's Chris you went to everything was consistent. Not anymore!

I had just flown in and my cousins and I arrived just in time, right before last call. We ordered the 11oz lobster and steak, and Lobster soup and Cesar salad. I tell you, that soup was so delicious I wanted more. Service was excellent!

Came in to celebrate my birthday and Sierra took great care of the "hubs" and I! The food was fantastic and came out hot and delicious! Thank you for your continued 5 star service.

I sat at the bar and there appeared to be three bartenders - mind you very friendly and nice. One took my order I asked her to wait for me to finish my wine and She did. Steak was ordered med rare - came out med well. No one checked on me and it was not busy at the bar. I was one of maybe 3. I had to ask for the steak to be recooked. I had to ask for salt and pepper as well and no bread was offered. When the Steak came back out and my sides were ice cold and I was not brought fresh Sid's. Mushrooms, onions, sprouts, baked potato. None replaced. I was asked if I wanted to see a manager - but at that point I was done. The server should have realized her mistake of not bringing me fresh sides and sent the manager to me. For the money - not a recommendation. I know steak well, and I understand high heat cooking but my second ribeye was a horrible cut compared to the first one. Will not return.

All of the entrées we ordered tasted good! We had grilled salmon, filet mignon and shrimps, garlic mashed potatoes, Caesar salad and broccoli. And cheesecake for desserts. Their bread and butter is so fresh and addicting. Except for the steamed broccoli, it's a little bit over cooked. The waitress was nice, there's another waiter who brought our salad, but didn't say a word. We walked in the restaurant with no reservation and we chose to eat in the bar area for casual dining. I've been to many cities where there is Ruth Chris steakhouse and I and family have always enjoyed the food and staff.

Ruth Chris was my favorite restaurant,My husband took me there for our wedding anniversary March 25,2024 and the bacon on top of the loaded mash was burnt the ribeye my husband ordered was burnt my food did not come out the same time as my husbands, the waitress kept coming out seems like every 20 min to reassure me that my stuff chicken would be out ..so I tasted my husband steak because my food literally took another hr his was burnt..waitress come back out asking how the food I told her not great that the Mac and cheese had a great presentation but it tasted burnt right along with the ribeye..It was indeed a horrible anniversary night I didnt eat because I wanted to eat with my husband not after.. we left and went to Waffle House..was very disappointed.
