We tried out this location with a party of four and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was very relaxed with the lighting and decor. I tried the Ruth's classic truffle crusted 8 oz filet with the steak house salad and garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was phenomenal. Our waitress, Anne, was very informative since it was our first visit. As a woman, I loved the cleanliness and sleek look of the restrooms. We were also greeted by Hayley the manager and she was very pleasant. All the employees made sure we were taken care of and did it with a smile. We enjoyed the earlier dinner time and were able to take our reservation a little early. It was a great experience and the steak was absolutely delicious!

We spent our 12th wedding anniversary here and it did not disappoint! Steaks were perfectly cooked, our salads and lobster Mac and cheese were fantastic, and the carrot cake was incredible! Great service. Even seated us 20 minutes before our reservations.

The appetizers and entrees were all wonderful! The calamari, stuffed mushrooms and sweet potatoe casserole were our favorites. I know they are famous for their steaks but the rest of the food was simply amazing! The staff was attentive and brought out a complimentary dessert for our college graduate, which was quite a pleasant surprise.

We really enjoyed the food , atmosphere and service. I went to the rest room with enough time to wash my hands and by the time I came back our server had fixed my napkin back to the original fancy position. They make you feel like royalty. We also enjoy the Thursday burger special for a date night for midweek chance to reconnect. We will definitely be back.

This was my wife and I first time experiencing Ruth Chris. Our waiter was great and even though the food looked amazing it was disappointing! My salad had a piece of hair in it and when they brought me another one, it was pretty good but still had that yucky feeling after the first salad. We tried the lobster voodoo and it was delicious!! I would have wanted that as my entree. I got lamb chops for the first time and I got medium but it was REALLY pink and very fatty . The lobster Mac n cheese was NOT good at all, it was very bland. For dessert we tried the carrot cake and I’m so happy we got one because how big it was, that was a 10/10! But I can say our waiter had great customer service which made up for the food for sure!!

Google
Becca was our waitress she did such a good with her service, attentiveness, recommending appetizers or favorites and making sure we were aware of the specials. Very pleasant and great energy all together. Will dine here again soon

Honest Reviews

Google
This was my first time at a Ruth Chris the ambience is beautiful but I wasn't impressed by the food or the service. The food was average at best. The steak was dry and tuff Ive honestly had better steaks at texas roadhouse and Longhorn....the sides were bland. The server was nice but nothing was what I expected for a meal that cost over $100. There were several different people coming to the table for different things and when you ask them for something they never brought what you asked for so you had to ask the server again. Also it was long wait times despite have a reservation we waited 30 min to be seated and it took the food about 40 min to come out it was just not the best experience. I would not recommend this place especially if your looking for fine dining.

Google
We celebrated our birthdays as well as our 40th wedding anniversary. Everything was wonderful. Our Server was attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious as always! A relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the evening

Yelp
Staff was great! Ambiance was great as well. Started with 2 delicious cocktails, the fiery Penelope smash and the oh honey, I recommend both. The freshly baked bread with butter to start, then the amazing salads followed by the steaks! I ordered the 11oz filet which was nice because most restaurants only have 8oz . It was good but there was a lot of juice on the plate from them finishing in the oven that I didn't care for . Both were cooked to a perfect medium and good seasoning For the sides I had the fries with ranch, they definitely were wimpy and needed to be cooked a little longer, the au gratin potatoes were good though. For your birthday you only get a small cupcake so we opted for a peanut butter mousse with Oreo crust covered in chocolate, best part of the meal!!

Yelp
I love their hamburgers for the flame grilled taste. I love strolling in here for a quick bite on solo dates. I am sure you've been downtown so you know the nitty gritty but if you're new in town, the restaurant is connected to the downtown mail so street parking or garage parking is best as the garage parking will lead you right in the restaurant through the mall entrance. It's always busy I'm here because it's downtown so beware of that. But if you're up for it and want to people watch, go! I was able to go the bar area for immediate seating, which has high tops around the bar if you don't want to sit directly at the bar. I was greeted by a staff member who I didn't chat with long because they switched themselves out with someone else which he said is because they work as a team so I will not take it personally even though the person he switched out with was a "peer" ironically. I was provided with water and regularly checked on, which was wonderful. I ordered the classic burger, medium rare, with the fixings, except pickles, add bacon. It came with a side of fries which were your typical steakhouse fries. I wish they had truffles or Cajun or something but hey the basics world works too, that's what I came for anyway. The burger was juicy and delicious, lightly seasoned on a sesame seed bun. Cooked to order as requested. Please go try them for yourself if you haven't already!

Yelp
The best food chain ever. Doesn't feel like a chain, you can go for a casual meal for no special reason or celebrate a milestone. Service has always been exceptional. Steaks are on par with much more expensive restaurants and the crab cakes are the best, would go there for those alone.

Yelp
We went here last night for our monthly CICAACN meeting. Service was great. They brought out bruschetta and stuffed mushrooms for the appetizer. Then they brought out giant individual salads. I'd prefer ranch but they used a house vinaigrette and it was okay. For our entrees we had a choice of salmon, stuffed chicken breast or New York strip. I got the strip and it was full of flavor. Sides were mashed potatoes and broccoli. And for dessert it was mini bread pudding and cheesecake. Our group goes here regularly and it never disappoints. If you have a large group or company meeting they have great space for those.

Yelp
My husband and I had a wonderful time dining here on February 13th. We had reservations for 8:45pm, and upon arrival, we were initially taken to a freestanding table in the middle of the bar area. We are not a fan of this sort of seating arrangement and began to regret not making a special request for specific seating when we made our reservation online. We were happy that they were able to seat us in a booth in Nicholas' section. The bar was very lively with several guests attending a celebration of someone's birthday, so we asked if the curtains to our booth could be drawn. Best idea ever! Instantly, it was like we were dining in our own little fort! So fun. We ordered drinks and enjoyed them along with the super-soft, complimentary bread & butter. We chose to go with the Valentine's Feature and upgraded to the lobster tail for our Surf & Turf entree. We also paid an uncharge of $6 each to get carrot cake rather than the flourless chocolate cake listed. We love their carrot cake! The meal was amazing and we took so much food home. We probably shouldn't have ordered those Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail on top of the already filling menu! The steak, which we ordered butterflied and medium, was so juicy; and that lobster tail was the best I've ever had. It was melt-in-your-mouth succulent. Nick provided great service. He was attentive without being intrusive and he checked in on us the perfect amount of times. We never found ourselves wondering where he was or wanting for anything. He even cleared the plates right away, based on our cues and we appreciate that. We really dislike having lots of clutter on our table while dining.

Yelp
If I go to Ruth's Chris, it will be this location. I came here for an impromptu date night last week, and while we had reservations, we decided to sit at the bar instead. Sometimes you just want that bar top vibe! We got instant service from a longtime bartender at this location. He had never been my server, but I remembered seeing him over the years. Right when he came over to take our drink order, he mentioned I looked like a lemon drop girl. I told him I'd actually like a blood orange martini, and my fiancé ordered an Old Fashioned. The bartender came back and, indeed, gave me a lemon drop martini. So, that was weird. Shockingly, I tried to drink it but it was entirely too sweet, so I got a glass of wine instead. Still don't know what happened to the blood orange. Dinner was great. I got a filet with truffle parm crust, and my fiancé got the seasonal salmon. We shared cream spinach, which we really like, and mashed potatoes. All in all, it was a great night, aside from the strange drink situation.

Yelp
Ruth's Chris is one of my all time favorites places to go. The ambiance is excellent and the service is always A+. I made reservations so we didn't have to wait when we arrived. I was upset that our booth was by the bar because it felt like during the commercial break of the game, the patrons at the bar just looked over at us while they waited for the game to come back on. The server was nice enough to close the curtains for the booth and we were completely alone enjoying dinner!! I definitely tipped him extra for that gesture. The food servings and quality were definitely worth the price. Valet parking is also a nice touch. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Thank you SO much to our waitress Anna for making our first date night as a married couple so amazing. She provided to us outstanding service and kindness, and she was very accommodating. We really enjoyed our meals and wine, and the dessert and glasses of champagne (complimentary) were a great way to finish the evening. Thank you, Ruth's Chris, and thank you again to Anna! Definitely ask for her next time you come.

Yelp
I was recently here for a women's event. It was my first visit to the north side location. The ambience is amazing. Some of the photos are a bit contradictive from the dress code, but it was still a very beautiful space. We were in the event area, which was a huge space. We had chicken (which was absolutely amazing and full of flavor) along with potatoes and broccoli. This actually made 2 meals for me. Staff were very prompt and knowledgeable about gluten free. I shouldn't say I expected anything less from the restaurant, but I will definitely be back.

Yelp
While having very positive past experiences at Ruth's Chris, our most recent experience on 7/4 was disappointing to say the least. The disappointments started with the aloof way in which we were greeted. While our reservation was for 7:30 p.m., we arrived at approximately 7:25. After a brief wait to be seated, we were handed off to another young man whom we followed to the dining area. When he stopped at a table which to us seemed like it was in the middle of an aisle, we asked if we could be seated at one of the two open tables near the windows. The young man stuttered and said "I think those tables are being held for a large group, and we'll need to put those tables together." He did not offer to check on the status, but rather dismissed us and went on his way. Though we were unhappy about the seating, we sat down and began looking at the menu. About 5 minutes later, another couple was ushered in and seated at one of those two open tables which were supposedly being saved to accommodate a large group. It is worth noting that the other table by the window remained empty the rest of the evening. My next disappointment was with my food. Though I had ordered grilled salmon, it was brought out to me appearing as if it had been baked, not grilled. As I was dissatisfied with it, at my request, our waitress took it away and brought it back with grill marks on it -- but it tasted awful!! It was unseasoned, overcooked, dry and did not taste fresh!! After one bite, I ate no more. At no time during our meal did our wait person return to our table to check on us, refill our water glasses or serve more bread. Adjoining tables were visited often by their wait person and were having lively, friendly exchanges with each other. Later, as we were ready to leave, a woman who appeared to be part of the management staff, did come to our table and asked in a patronizing tone"How are WE doing? How was everything?" I told her that the salmon was unseasoned and overcooked to which she did not apologize or offer to remedy. Her stop ar our table seemed like an auto-pilot visit. She did ask if she could get us anything else to which I replied, "Yes, the check!" Our past experiences at that location have been nothing but glowing from the host, to servers, to professional, mature wait staff, to food quality, all very positive. This recent visit was exactly the opposite. And what's become of the dress code when adults and teenagers alike are dressed in t-shirts and shorts at a supposed fine dining establishment? I guess we'll never know. We won't be back to find out.

Yelp
We have never eaten at Ruth's Christ before our dinner on the 7th. I got at least 8 messages asking that we confirm our reservation Upon arriving we were immediately greeted and taken to a funky table in the bar area. Table was seated for 4. We were not happy at our table because we were in the bar with TV, people eating bar food and we were looking right at their backsides. Not a good view for a romantic night out It took over 18 minutes to be greeted by our server. It was necessary for her to reach over us and clear the table settings for two. Once done she asked if we wanted bread and water. Left to get it. About 10 minutes later came back for drink order. Another 10 minutes we get our wine and dinner order is placed Chop salad came immediately. Then our steaks. All in a matter of minutes. Almost two fast as we had just received our drinks The food was excellent. Our steaks were perfect No one checked back with us. People at the bar were talking to us as there was no privacy We ordered dessert and she brought an extra piece of cake, just because. Left the check and that was the last we saw of her. Or check was a few dollars short of $300. We left cash on the table after waiting another 15 minutes. I ordered coffee and could not get a refill At this point we were both disappointed in our seating and lack of service that we felt we should have gone to St Elmo's. We know the service is great and food outstanding We decided the steaks were good but when we added up the difficulties we have to say, "been there did that"

Yelp
Okay this is definitely my first visit but Ruth really surpassed my expectations! Customer service, ambience, food were outstanding! First things first one step in and you feel you are transported to a very royal, classy place. Then the service was so quick and easy! The food was a fixed menu but my salmon and even the mashed potatoes were to die for. The icing on the cake was the dessert which was swoon worthy chocolate mousse and delicious rich cheesecake. We just enjoyed our meal so much that I was in a food coma for hours later! Our end of year party was stellar thanks to Ruth! I highly recommend Ruth for team outings or anything else! Just try! Worth your dime.

Yelp
Ruth Chris is a a family favorite! Every time we go, we're not disappointed. We are made to feel so prioritized and special when we are there! The food is exceptional! The steak is tender and had a great caramelized crust. I always get the ribeye, it's my favorite cut there, it's done exceptionally! The berries and cream is so tasty, and sweet end to the savory dinner. The corn has pops of sweetness and spice from the peppers. The tables, the decor, and ambiance is giving smooth night out. Definitely a more dressy vibe. This restaurant is pricey but I feel I receive great value for my money. There is valet parking but also free parking in front of the restaurant.

Yelp
The service here is always amazing and the food was exceptional! We came here for a business lunch and our server was very entertaining. He really could do stand-up! I ordered the grilled salmon which was the catch of the day. It was cooked medium well. The seasoning and the portion size did not disappoint. The creamed spinach and mashed potato sides were served family style. Everyone was satisfied with their meals and there were no complaints.

Yelp
A do-over never hurt anyone, and a do-over we did, thanks to the General Manager! My original review grabbed the attention of management and they reached out to rectify things, which as *deeply* appreciated. This time, mom, dad and I dined on crab cakes and an assortment of delicious sides, all served by Akbar without the extra heaping of condescension. Our bar booth was warm, cozy & inviting, and I actually enjoyed eating there rather than in the main upstairs dining room. All in all, it was a good second experience, and I will return with friends for drinks, at the very least. Glad to know that Yelping makes a difference, and super grateful for the staff & Ruth's Chris for caring about the customers' experience.

Yelp
Steak is always great here, served on 500 degree plate. Outside patio is very cute!!! Would recommend, especially for special occasions.

Yelp
Rob at the bar is the best! Great service, good food, and the atmosphere is always festively!

Yelp
For 30 years I enjoyed dining at this place and had a wine locker for 20. Then they forgot what hospitality means. I received and email informing me that I pay $500 or I should pick up my wine. Not one to accept rudeness, I decided to take my wine and go home. I never travel alone and I know I am (was) good for several + thousand dollars a year that will now go elsewhere. They should revisit the true meaning of hospitality, and the proper way to deliver a message. Had that part been done with some decency, I likely would have spent $500.

Yelp
Ruth Chris has a special place in my heart. I love that they have complimentary valet so that you aren't spending all day looking for a space. We were seated in a timely manner and Miguel had exceptional customer service. I frequent Ruth Chris for the Riesling and crabcakes but this time I did the devour menu and tried their gumbo as well! It was amazing ! I also love their stuffed chicken breast ! Full of flavor and the serving sizes are very plentiful !

Yelp
We were here for a dinner, had fillet asparagus, mashed potatoes, and a salad, as well as some dessert - it was one of those dinners that you get a card for in the mail. However, I must say the food was excellent! The fillet was fantastic. Afterwards, we went down to the bar for a drink and had a lovely experience. Will definitely be back here. It's been a while since I've been to Ruth's but Definitely on my return to List.

Yelp
Service at every RC is top notch including this location. I dine here once or twice a year and it's always a treat. I no longer can eat gluten so sadly can't eat my favorite thing on the menu anymore and that is hands down the bread pudding. Bar area has the best ambiance. Dislike being seated on the second level. It's not cozy at all and less intimate feeling than the first floor. I can't say this is five stars because to me it is just another steakhouse... nothing out of the ordinary but also it ain't no Outback. It needs some serious updates to side dishes to be more gluten free friendly of add more items that are GF.
google avatar

M B.

Yelp
The food here is truly amazing, and we drive the three hours just to enjoy their menu. However, the last time we went, they changed my FAVORITE dish and I am heartbroken over it!!! It's been my go-to for years! If management is reading this, PLEASE REVERT BACK YOUR LOBSTER VOODOO!!! That's why we make the drive, year after year!!! So bummed!!!! If it's because of the price, then raise it! We would pay more if we had too, and the new version is not NEARLY as good.

Yelp
Obviously Ruth's Chris doesn't need an introduction-- one of my favorite chain steakhouses, this location @ Iron Works is such a fun option for dinner or lunch. Unlike most restaurants, the bar is separated from the family dining, allowing a pleasant and slightly more intimate dining experience. This location is usually pretty busy, but the staff, from hostess to bartender, does an exemplary job of providing top notch service so you barely notice. My visit today was no exception. Our server offered the perfect amount of professionalism and adult humor to keep things interesting, enhancing the entire experience. Food was cooked exactly as we requested, one medium rare and one medium ribeye, and sizzling stuffed chicken breasts. Our salads were well timed to come out before our meal and sides, the server was attentive and patient. Again- quite the visit, if given the option I will always choose this location.

Yelp
A very good experience dinning at Ruth's Chris. My mother chose this place, which was a great choice. The service was great, the food was good, a very beautiful place. Teja the waitress was a very good server. Me and my mother felt very comfortable, Teja was friendly and was able answer every question asked. My mother and I will be returning for a dinner special. Thank you Teja

Yelp
LOVE LOVE this place. It is my favorite place to go. The service is wonderful and the food is amazing every single time. Even when they are busy they take care of you. Drinks are worth it as is everything else.

Yelp
Our experience was mixed. I ordered a t-bone and it was cooked as ordered. However, my partner ordered a New York strip steak. He originally received a steak without a bone (he ordered bone-in), also he ordered medium well and his steak was well done. As expected they apologized and brought him a second steak, bone-in, cooked medium well but he said it didn't have the flavor. They compensated with comping the appetizer and providing a free dessert-however-a steak restaurant ought to get steaks correct. It was his Father's Day celebration, it left a bad taste in his mouth-pun intended.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch after an uninspiring dinner several years ago. We had the prix fixe lunch and it was fabulous! Michael was a wonderful and attentive server which made the meal even better. Definitely going back after this great experience.

Yelp
I enjoyed an early dinner with 5 other ladies on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the holidays. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Service was fast with minimal wait times. I ordered Ruth's Chopped Salad, Sizzling Blue Crab Cake, and the Sausage Seafood Gumbo. Everything was good and filling. A few of the other ladies got the burgers. I tried some of it and was tasty and flavorful as well. We all had a good time and good food.
google avatar

Yelp
This food is amazing. Not only does the food taste great, the portions make your mouth water in shock. The chefs do an excellent job of cooking the meat exactly how you like.
google avatar

Shekila S.

Yelp
The old standby! If it's meat you crave, you can't go wrong with this wonderful restaurant. We met friends there for an enchanted experience. The restaurant was geared in all decor for the holidays, and the dining room was packed, yet there were no people waiting to be seated. We started with a bottle of wine, Post and Beam, which was a rich and robust Cabernet at the suggestion of our friend. It didn't disappoint. Next we were served appetizers: the Lobster Voodoo and the Seared Ahi Tuna. Both were perfectly executed and delicious! When we selected entrees, I was thinking to select from the Ruth's classics menu, but I have always been a ribeye fan, loving the mixture of fat and meat so that was what I chose. Although the meat had been cooked perfectly and to my liking, it was slightly tough and chewy. I had a difficult time believing it was prime meat. And this is the sole reason that kept me from giving them 5 stars. My husband ordered the same and he said the exact same thing when we got home and compared notes. All in all, the service, ambiance and food were outstanding!

Yelp
We made reservations which I would suggest just for less worry about getting a seat or having to wait. It gives you the option of patio or bar and we went with the patio. I also noticed they are pretty adamant on their dress code from posting it on their site, noting in their reservations, and having at the host stand when you walk in so keep that into consideration as well. It's nothing crazy, just don't wear anything too revealing, hats, etc. Our waitress was Braxton and she was great! Did you know one of Ruth's Chris' signature features is serving their steaks on a plate that is about 500 degrees to ensure the steak is hot and every bite is enjoyed? They aren't joking about that and I think that is what separates their steaks from other steakhouses. All of the sides come a La carte with the steaks unless you get one of their options that has the soup and salad for starters but the sides are big enough to share so the mashed potatoes for two was perfect. We might have been able to split them with another person too. I enjoyed the drinks as well. The blood orange grapefruit margarita wasn't too sweet and it was a nice summer drink. The hibiscus margarita I didn't like as much but I think I'm not a big hibiscus fan. It included black sugar on the rim which was a good aesthetic touch.

Yelp
Finally got a chance to get to Ruth Chris. This has been on my bucket list for quite sometime. Once we entered the restaurant we noticed is was well decorated and had a very romantic atmosphere. I checked the menu and decided to order the Lamb Chops. I also ordered Mac n Cheese with Lobster and Sweet Potato Casserole. The side dishes were family size and more than enough to share for three to four people. My wife ordered the NY Strip Steak which was my second choice. So we ended sharing our meals. The Lamb Chops were out of this world. I can honestly say I don't recall having Lamb Chops as tasty as these! The sides were tasty as well. We kept monitoring the sides to see who would end up with the last spoonful. The NY Strip also had a great taste. I have added this restaurant to my top 5 list in Indianapolis. If you get a chance take the opportunity to visit Ruth Chris Steak House. You will not regret it!

Yelp
I decided to take myself on a lunch date and stumbled into Ruth's Chris Steak House. The service was exceptional and the food was fantastic! I enjoyed having a day to myself to enjoy a good, fulfilling meal. I love going to Ruth's during lunch, because I truly feel I get my monies worth. They have day time hours, so that you can enjoy lunch/brunch. If you're ever on the north side of town and looking for good food for lunch, Ruth's will not disappoint!

Yelp
We had reservations here for a couple birthdays we were celebrating (total of 7 people) and they had set our table up in the bar without confirming everyone was over 21 until after we arrived. It ended up working out ok but personally I would have preferred to be in the dining room. Maybe this was our mistake and we should have specified when making the reservation, but it would have been nice if they would have asked if we had a preference when making the reservation. Our server was great and very attentive to our table, keeping the glasses full and checking on us. The food sadly was just mediocre, we ordered a variety of things and nothing stood out as being amazing. For the price and the advertisement of being fine dining I was actually pretty disappointed. There are a lot of other steak restaurants around Indy and nothing stood out here for me to say I would go back.

Yelp
Food was awesome like always but Logan didn't give us much attention. He said he remembered us, but I think he was thinking of someone else. I still left him 25%

Yelp
I'm not a huge steak eater, so this place had never really been on my list. We had a holiday team meal right before Christmas, and I'd definitely been missing out on some delicious food. I chose the prefix menu and enjoyed a delicious salad, a stuffed chicken breast with asparagus and mashed potatoes and a dessert. This was the perfect choice for a girl who is not big on steak or seafood. The portion size was plenty, and I took half the dessert home. The drinks were delicious too. We had to wait a bit for our reserved table, but it's not super surprising seeing as it was right before the holidays and as weather was turning bad. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was very clean, and it was easy to have a private meal. I'll definitely be heading back for special occasions!

Yelp
Best steak I've ever had, I ain't even lying , the ambience of the place was nice, the chairs were a little tiny but that's prolly cause we sat at the high tables, the service was ok, it took a VERY long time for us to even get our first piece of bread, but it was worth the wait, the bread 10/10, the butter that came with the bread, 10/10, the steak, well the first bite I took literally made me rethink my eating habits and whether I should start steak more often, Every single bite was warm, perfectly tender, juicy and buttery (except the edges), I wish there was like a 7 star option cause holy this is genuinely the best steak and bread I've EVER had, and that's saying something.

Yelp
It has been a long time since I've been to a Ruth's Chris. I started decades ago with two of their New Orleans area establishments and immediately falling in love with their steaks. I continued dining at the Columbus, OH location as a regular patron for several years. But more recently, I have visited the Phoenix/Scottsdale location and downtown Indy. This visit was a pure spur of the moment decision. I was parking for Verde and decided last minute to treat my granddaughter to the Ruth's Chris experience. For novices and since they don't ask you to do it anymore, you're supposed to hold your napkin up to cover yourself so the sizzling butter doesn't splatter on your clothing. I've never seen this in any other restaurant because no one else does their pressure cooker style of cooking of a steak. We both had the Petite Filet with the Grilled Shrimp and chose Au Gratin Potatoes plus the Steamed Broccoli for our sides. For dessert we both went with the Cheesecake; hers with berries, mine with just the raspberry sauce. A classic meal at a renowned restaurant famous across the USA. It was extremely delicious and tasted like everything I remembered. The only thing I skipped today was my usual shrimp cocktail appetizer in order to have more room for steak and a glass of wine. I was going to be driving in rush hour traffic afterwards. My granddaughter enjoyed the "crumb catcher" service after the meal. There was plenty of parking available in the shared parking lot for the entire building but complimentary valet parking is available if you desire. The restrooms were spotless and high end as you would expect for a $200+ meal for two as were the entire dining rooms. Always an experience to remember dining at a Ruth's Chris.

Yelp
Great filets every single time, even with tonight's filet sliders Service was mostly prompt , albeit we never received the sauce we asked for.

Yelp
Seated upstairs in the banquet annex which is like a church basement. Never again. Same price of course $$$$. Food is excellent. Service fine. But why spend that kind of money for a special occasion sitting in a lifeless room. No thanks. Never again. BTW, made the reservation 5 days in advance. So much for that. Walkins were seated on the main level. Very disappointing.

Yelp
This past time I came to Ruth Chris over the weekend, it was amazing - per usual. They helped me get the wifi code to take a work call, the server was cognizant of my timeline for lunch and for the work call I was taking, José was his name. Terry is my usual server and he is amazing too. Ambiance is vibey and the interior is clean! I am a young man of color and I work in IT. They treat me wonderfully every time. The food was amazing. I had Tuna and Filet Sliders. My last name is also Ruth so it's always fun upon entry.

Yelp
The ambiance of Ruth's Chris on 86th Street, in indianapolis, has always been a relaxing atmosphere. As it was last evening. However, that was where what could have been a wonderful event ended. Service was, at best, a 6 out of 10 with our waiter, as well as any other staff being non-existent. One appetizer was not what was ordered, one main dish was incorrect as well. The sides were barely warm with the lobster mac & cheese being cool. I had ordered wine with dinner and had to ask three people three times before it was brought to the table. My steak was tough, tasteless, and greasy. My guest's steak was tough and dry. What was designed to be a wonderful experience for myself and my grandson was not. Hello Sullivan's and Prime 47 and goodbye Ruth's Chris.

Yelp
Have been here multiple times for business dinners and it's consistently great. You can't go wrong with the steaks, I recently had the petite filet with shrimp and it was delicious! Started with a Caesar salad and loved it. For the sides we had mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and mushrooms and they were all really good too. For appetizers, GET THE LOBSTER VOODOO. It is hands down the best thing on their menu and probably the best dish I've had anywhere! We've also gotten the seared ahi tuna which is nice and fresh, and the veal ravioli which is great too. And for anyone that doesn't want steak, the salmon is really really good. They have different seasonal preparation styles but my favorite is Asian style. The service is also top notch and they are very accommodating for food allergies and restrictions. The ambiance is nice, just like a typical steakhouse.

Yelp
4/5 stars ONLY bc the creamed spinach gets cold so fast! But other than that wonderfully soft bread, excellent service by Francisco and Angelica. Boyfriend got the lamb chops and they were HUGE. He never takes doggy bags home but he had to. My crab cakes were delicious. All in all a great meal. Sat at a booth in the bar and it was perfect.

Yelp
We were in from out of town, and planned to take my dad for a special brunch Sunday, as my mom recently passed. We inadvertently booked the downtown location. Unfortunately the hostess was rude and disrespectful to my husband despite the place being virtually empty. In addition, my husband had brought a paper bag in - and the hostess asked what was in the bag "because we don't allow outside food in the restaurant"??? He had sympathy cards for my dad to sign in the bag.... I have no idea what her issue was. I suggest you find staff that are not pretentious and rude. We will not come back, nor will our family. Ended up at Harry and Izzy- first class experience through and through!
