04SEP25 ~ The restaurant had a delightful ambiance & outstanding steaks! 1st class all the way. Yes, the sticker price is a bit higher than some other options, but it is nice to treat yourself nicely on occasion. The location, Fulton Street, the building, and the entrance all set the atmosphere for a first-class establishment. The employees at the entrance were top rate and set the stage for an elegant dining experience. Our waitress was everything we would like to have. She was appropriately dress, well mannered, well-spoken/articulate, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Our dinners were served hot, our steaks were cooked to our liking, tender, and moist. My mashed potatoes were to die for, and the asparagus was perfectly prepared. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Food was superb. Crab cakes always a 10/10 Caesars Salad soooooooo good 10/10 French 75 8/10 Grilled Salmon w/ Shrimp 9/10 (shrimp was slightly over cooked) Cheese cake 9/10 Our waiter was very sweet and friendly. All staff was polite and came over to chat with us. The restaurant is located in Caesars New Orleans. Plenty of parking nearby.

Had one of the best steaks here! Did Oscar style and it was just perfect - really filling and cooked to perfection. The cream spinach had a hint of sweetness - very good also. Our server was Annemarie and she was very attentive and friendly. Kind of tucked away inside the hotel but did not have a problem booking an early dinner the same day (was dining with two). Can't go wrong with Ruth's Chris!

Great place for lunch—bar seating was available so we sat there. Food was good, we enjoyed the Spicy Shrimp, Caesar Salad, Goat Cheese & Artichoke Dip, and the Black & Bleu Salad. Bartender was nice and attentive and our drinks were great!

10/10 wonderful service. Jeremy was amazing and very attentive. Whether a formal, family or friendly settings I encourage everyone to check it out. We had a lovely night there. Delicious 😋 food and drinks.

Place has a steak to die for. Went hear without reservations has no problem getting seated quick. Really nice place as it goes for atmosphere and the wait staff was very good. The only reason I dropped a star was cause we did have to send a steak back because we asked for med rare and it came to the table med. But besides that everything was very good.

I visited this location for the first time August 26, 2025. Sarah was our server. She was friendly, paid close attention to details, and made us feel very welcome. When I visit again, I will be requesting Sarah. All of our food was fantastic and any concerns were handled promptly. That is extremely important as life does have its hiccups. The GM, Josh, is top notch. He genuinely cares about his guests experience. I can't wait to visit again.

This was an entertaining lunch to come to as a single diner but not anywhere near the type of experience you would expect from a fine dining restaurant at this price point. It started with little faux pauxs but they really added up throughout the experience. Slow water refills. All the food came out at once. Menu was left on the table after the food came out. Employees were loudly mocking other diners & complaining about corporate mere feet from my table. I ordered a medium steak and it came out with a hard gray exterior and blue interior and no one followed up on the temperature of my steak. The shrimp was inedible. Table never got bussed. Had to wait for my check. I've eaten at Park City, SLC, LA and San Diego Ruth's Chris as well and this was by far my worst Ruth's Chris I've been to.

Ruth's Chris is known for setting the standard in fine dining, and our recent visit reaffirmed that--despite a few hiccups. Upon arrival, we encountered some issues with dirty glassware and silverware, but the team quickly turned things around. Ricki, the manager, went above and beyond, stepping in to ensure our experience was nothing short of exceptional. We started with the Caesar salad, a classic done just right, and moved on to the stuffed half chicken with Freddie mac & cheese, which delivered rich, comforting flavors. Cindy, our server, was a delight. Though she mentioned she was deaf in her left ear after we noticed a delay in her responses, her hosting and attentiveness were otherwise fantastic. My wife ordered the filet mignon, requesting it medium, though it arrived rare. Ricki swiftly remade the steak, ensuring it was prepared perfectly to her liking. This level of care and attention to detail made a huge difference in our overall experience. While the small setbacks might have detracted slightly from the evening, the incredible service and flavorful dishes more than made up for it. I give our experience at Ruth's Chris 4/5, with the service and food earning a well-deserved 5/5. We'll definitely be back soon--bon appétit!

Yowza. Steak tasted great. When we eventually got it. We were there for 2 hours for absolutely no reason and with a toddler after I prefaced that we were hoping for swift service with our ticking time bomb. I started a movie for my son when we sat down because he was cranky. I literally had a stop watch and it was maddening. It took over 30 mins to be given water and 45 MINUTES to get a glass of wine. This was after the "somm"/manager/whatever stepped in to assist the too busy server but he did not follow through. 20 more minutes before I finally received our drinks. Had to beg. I almost went to the bar myself.... Received our bread finally well after our entrees. Steak dropped but no steak knife. It was soooo bad. They comped a side dish for our troubles.... $240 later. Will never return. (The server was nice, but had a large party next to us that they were seemingly trying to impress and did not give us attention for such a long time and throughout. I'm most frustrated with the manager for not following through and not really trying to smooth things over after HE fumbled us too.)

Ruth's Chris on a Saturday night in New Orleans was superb. Everyone was exceedingly friendly and made the evening enjoyable. We were sat in the back of the restaurant where it was quiet, which we appreciated. Our waiter, Rob, was great, and there was another waiter, Joe B., that was helping out too to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The Ruth's Classics meal special is a great deal, and this location does not appear to inflate prices as other locations (side eye at Las Vegas) do. The food was excellent as always, and we will be back.

Yesterday before a concert we met up with friends for dinner here. They had all dined her before but I had not. First visit did not disappoint! Beautiful dining area and bar, friendly hostess, knowledgable and kind waitress (Diamond), and food & drinks were 10/10! Our waitress was super sweet to offer me a complementary dessert as a first time customer. All though I'm not a fan of steak there are so many other options on the menu I would like to try so I'll be back soon.

Outstanding but please do military discounts ! Always fresh and made to order however, the stinch of the Harrah's bathroom is fudging disgusting!! My lobster bisque was a bit cold the silverware was a bit dirty .

Had a late dinner at Ruth's after checking in to our hotel. Service was excellent 10/10 friendly staff, very personable. The space itself is cool I liked the huge cast iron pan shaped like the Louisiana. Although they had some issues with the lights flickering but that probably is some super minor electrical thing that they will have fix in no time. I ordered the chicken and my partner order the petite stake with blue cheese crust both were very very tasty. And don't skip on the cheese cake! Surprisingly light yet creamy. Shoutout to Joseph for his professional services.

Simply the best and very consistent. Convenient location and valet parking at both locations are the best. This location is always booming and it's also a favorite car spot especially on Fridays. Good wine selection, cocktails and food is so consistent every time, staff friendly and I love when they recognize repeat guests. A few favs: calamari, crab cakes, wedge salad, lobster bisque, filet mignon

Had a great date night at Ruth Chris while in Bossier City. Tiki Hubby and I shared the wedge and a filet Oscar style. Service was perfect our waitress Sarah went out of her way to make the evening perfect. She had our plates split before coming to the table. The food was cooked perfect. Steak was delicious with a crab cake and asparagus. Wedge was covered with creamy blue cheese and crispy bacon.

A shame this entire chain is going to shit. As a solo business traveler, i rely on places like this for quality food and great service worldwide. Not this one in Harrahs. Walked in, bar packed (dummies 3 in a party , clogging up bar space) so i grabbed a high top only to sit for about 5 minutes without any service or greeting and noticed the lone bartender was slammed. I got up and went to the hostess area and asked for a table for quicker service. I was walked to the back of the restaurant and said no thanks as i didnt want to feel even more isolated than i already felt. So I asked to sit at a 4 person table in the middle of the not very busy dining room. Within a minute or so i was greeted by my server and ordered a beer, a minute later i was able to place my order. Excellent! Now, ISIS the hostess comes to my table while I was ordering and tells me i must move to another table which was unset and I said i would rather stay where I am and ahe started to get rude and told me I couldnt and at that point i felt this was to much aggravation for a meal and said i will just go somewhere else then and surprisingly she said, take care and have a good night. This hostess obviously has terrible customer service or just doesnt care, to just let a customer up and walk out. The Ruths Chris shit show continues and I took my $200 elsewhere.

After watching a parade this was the only place we could get into quickly. We visit NOLA to eat at high end restaurants 2-3x a year but we never do chain restaurants. However we figured we would give it a shot. What was only supposed to be a 10-15min wait turned into 30min before we were seated, we had a party of 4. The service was about what you get at a chilies or Applebees, not what I expected at a high end steakhouse. The lobster bisque tasted like it was from a can, very average at best. My wedge salad was actually good, but my baked potato was horrendous for a high end steak house. So bad I attached a photo. However what makes me give this place 1 star Vs. 2 was my sister in-laws chicken was so dry she took 2 bites and send it back. It looked like it had been over cooked then left under a warmer for 3hrs. This was the first meal she has ever sent back in her life, and it was here. Congratulations Ruth Fertel, you got her to do something for the first time. Maybe just an off night for them, but with so many great places to dine in NOLA don't put this location on your list unless it's your only option.

Every bite of everything was amazing. Dopamine receptors are on fire! My petite filet was awesome. Perfect cook.

I usually don't write reviews, but I had to after the great experience we had on Monday, Aug. 5 at Ruth Chris. (Inside of Harrah's NO)It started with the Hostess when I told her it was our 29th wedding anniversary. She was so sweet and kind. To our supprise she arrange for a table to be set with a white tablecoth, Happy Anniversary confetti on it and a handwritten card! Then our server Alexander took extra care of us! He made sure our food was perfect when it came out. (Thanks chef) The dessert just melted in your mouth. The manager even came to the table. They definitely made our anniversary special. Thanks everyone. It was definitely a 5 star service!

As always the food was amazing. But this visit was made special by the two hostess and our waiter! They went above and beyond "their call of duty". When asked if we were celebrating we said yes life! And they all remembered this during our dinner which made it really special

We eat frequently at Ruth Chris whenever we are out of town because we can always count on a great product and service....except this time. Sadly the service was greatly lacking. We spent most of our time just trying to find waitstaff that would stop to help us. There were a lot of patrons around us having the same problem. Talking to our waiter and then the manager produced many apologies, totally appreciated. Turns out they were low on help and they are trying to recover from Mardi Gras. Totally understand but wow...not good.

Made a reservation for 8 pm and wanted to celebrate my Anniversary. When we arrived I was told about five minute wait. I thought ok, but then the hostess changes that to 10 minute wait. Still thinking. Ok. Then when that time expired they came and told us it will be a 30 minute wait. Because the booth we reserved was occupied. They offered a table after the initial 30 minute wait, but given the anniversary and reservation we made, we wanted the booth. So now 47 minutes later, finally sat. Booth was nice. They were nice enough to tell us there was a wait each time. The app literally said "now dining" yet we were never seated in the restaurant. They didn't offer drinks. They didn't offer compensation for the inconvenience. Put a time on tables given the conventions take up tables talking business. Vegas does this at high end restaurants. You put a sign at the door since fine dining can easily time and course tables. We eat at allot of these Ruth's restaurants where they are in Harrahs Casinos. This is the longest wait ever to be seated. Wow. Cancel now. Save the hassle if you are on a schedule. Ruined our night. BUT THEN THIS IS AN EDIT IN REAL TIME. Donnie was a gracious Server and very nice. He was quick and kept checking on us. Awesome guy. Sometimes a smile can change a mood. Thanks Donnie at New Orleans Harrahs Hotel Ruth's. Thanks Kirsten hostess and Gabriella who took over for Donnie. Then a big thanks to Cody the manager on duty for taking care of the rest. He was also a good guy who knows his job and did it very well. So now the review is still a one star due to the overall. But a four star for their employees who didn't have anything to do with this per say.

How sweet it is....how sweet it is. Service was prompt and effective.... Not to mention attentively flawless. The booth was comfy and they had curtains that cordoned off diners from happenstance passersby'. They also provided for perfect acoustics. Ambiance to the 9s. Sound level was so comfortable. Lighting perfectly adequate. I got a filet and asked for it butterflied with the blue cheese crust. The latter and also the former was browned just right and the steak was cooked absolutely perfectly, presented politely and was super tender. It came sizzling, spattering and the amazing wafted to my sensory receptors in my nostrils....it was marry-me good. Hellllllllll-o...yum, yum and yum. You get the drift. The spinach was velvety smooth and piping hot. So good that I was hoping that the folks I dined with had some sort of spinach allergy or apprehension so I could just have it all to myself. I wasn't so lucky but let me tell you this much, i came close to asking the chef for her or his autograph. Just look at the pictures and how can you like... not want to go and bite your phone. I might just go ahead and replace a couple of my wallet pictures of family and pets with those two you got here. Sorry son Chester or my German Shepherd Imbas--you just got bumped from the wallet-photo-plastic holder strip of favorite photos--by a delectable cooked blob of meat and a toothsome bowl of spinach. Yep, I'm totally comfortable with that--100%. That's how good it was. Need. I. Say.More.

Great service. Had lunch. Have noticed a trend in recent years. Had lobster bisque. Was amazing as always. Had the filet. Not sure what to say. Cooked perfect medium rare on hot plate with sizzling butter. Absolutely zero flavor to the meat. And I don't mean filet vs ribeye flavor I'm talking like this could have been a virtual reality steak and I could have been eating it in my imagination from my living room with a vr helmet on. Just throw clay in my mouth and show me a picture of meat. How does this happen so consistently at the same restaurant in a city that has such great steak options

My husband and I love Ruth Chris.. we try to find one wherever we travel. We were happy to see that there was one on New Orleans. We never had a bad meal at Ruth Chris. But last nights was exceptionally delicious! Our server was ON IT!! So personable and tended to our very needs. I'll share his name with you because it's worth sharing... Jerome is his name. (Could be a distance cousin after talking to him) Do yourself a favor and ask for Jerome if you go to the Ruth Chris in the Caesar/Harris's in New Orleans

Four of us had dinner on Wed, Aug 28. Our server John did an excellent job of taking care of our table. We ordered the ravioli appetizer which was delicious. Our table ordered a ribeye with mushrooms, au gratin potatoes, a filet, crab cakes and spicy shrimp. The steaks were prepared to perfection. The crab cakes were done well with little filler and the spiced shrimp was just the right spicy. No room for dessert. Good experience all around.

Ok, I have to admit that this Ruth Chris was better than the ones I visited in NYC and NJ. I'm a New Yorker, so it's hard for me to say that :/ The filet & Shrimp were flawless!

The food was very expensive but it was all good. We got the tomahawk steak, loaded baked potato, sweet potato casserole, mushrooms, crab cakes, and stuffed chicken breast. Our waiter, Ryan, was exceptional. He even made sure we got a complimentary cheesecake in celebration of us getting married.

Food service and ambiance top tier. The server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed at our table. Must try!

I've never had a bad experience at Ruth's Chris. The food has always at least, been very good; however, today the experience at the Fulton Street location's was exceptionally amazing. Our server, Donnie, is a star. He made sure to give great recommendations, and followed-up with us regularly to ensure that everything was okay. Personality wise, I'd say he's one to keep around and possibly to promote to management.... As he understands what good service is about. The food is always A1, Ruth's has the best crab cakes hands down. I've even tried to replicate, but it's never the same. I'll definitely be back and will be requesting Donnie, and suggest everyone else do the same.

Brought a coworker to Ruth's Chris tonight, she's never been. Had Ms. Diamond as our waitress, she was absolutely wonderful. I've never had a bad experience here. Diamond made sure we were well taken care of. Met the new manager, Louis tonight as well. Louis was a delight as well. Food is always amazing, service is always exceptional. Matt stopped by the table as well, super nice guy. My boy Warren was off tonight but that's ok. His crew handled everything tonight! Make sure you try that lobster Mac n cheese and the Pomegranate Martini! You won't regret it.

We went for a birthday dinner. Service was slow as molasses! And it was so loud that we couldn't really talk! Dinner was alright. I will say the crème brûlée was DELICIOUS!

Joe B. was our waiter and he was phenomenal. He was attentive and fantastic. He was very accommodating and should be promoted. He is the best in the business. Joe B became our best friend after dinner was over. Ruth's Chris would be silly to not keep this guy around forever. He is amazing!! He truly loves what he does and knows his stuff!! The ambiance was so nice!! Joe B!! Remember his name!!!

My wife and I recently experienced Ruths Chris for the first time. Fully expecting good steak and service. Unfortunately we were met with the restaurant being "fully committed" and didn't offer to even put us down to wait for a table. Luckily there were 2 bar seats available. Which just so happened to be by the entrance. We saw 2 other couples turned away. With that being said the bartenders were great. However the food was not. Steak was dry when ordered medium. Brussel sprouts were the star of the bar. To pay what we paid it just wasn't worth it.

Always a wonderful experience at Ruth Chris. Meet new people from England at a bar on Bourbon who had never experienced Ruth Chris so brought them with us. Obviously, they accommodated them with our reservations. Thank you. They were so glad they joined us. Never had they had steak and a dining experience so wonderful. Always a pleasure bringing new people to enjoy a fabulous dining experience with a restaurant that never let's you down!!

There were four of us, we had a few appetizers, four entrees, and four sides. The highlights were the Cobb salad, ahi tuna appetizer, and steak. I wouldn't recommend the sea bass; two of us got it and it was overcooked. The worst part of our meal though by far was the service. Our server was terribly rude and was in a hurry to leave the table as soon as she walked up to it....every.single.time. All four of us noticed it right away and it never got better throughout the meal. She never even offered us dessert or coffee, she just brought the check to us. We will not return to this location.

Jimmy was amazing! He provided great customer service. The food was delicious, much better than the Metairie location. Would definitely go back again.

Service was TRASH! I will never come here on a Sunday again. I understand what it feels like to be worked understaff....but the energy you give off you will receive! Bartender was giving attitude cursing, slinging bottles. My food was terrible.

Located inside the Harrah's hotel , walking distance from french quarter. We dined here around 930pm on a Sunday as it was one of the only places open late for dinner in the area. No tables were available until 1030 so we opted for a seat at the high tops in the bar area. The bar area wasn't packed but it had a decent crowd. We waited 25 minutes before a waitress came up to us. The assistant waiter brought us waters and place settings in the meantime but he said he couldn't take our order or even drink order. Finally the waitress came and she apologized sarcastically for the wait as she said there were only two of the bartenders servicing the entire area. We ordered everything, drinks and dinner upfront. The bread was SO stale and very bland. We only ordered a wedge salad, caesar salad and lobster bisque yet it took over 30 minutes to come out. The waitress stopped by after our food was delivered and asked us if "we were happy now" that we had our food. Very weird question to ask.. especially after waiting so long. Salads were typical from Ruth Chris. They area always fresh. The wedge lacked bacon, only a few pieces. The lobster bisque was luke warm. Not impressed with this location at all. Dine else where, there are many staples that provide better service!

Love this restaurant! Of all the steakhouse chains I have experienced, Ruth's Chris has the best consistency across the states. Fairly priced, consistently good quality, simple; the In-n-Out of steakhouses. My favorite cut here is the rib eye; it's definitely done right at Ruth's Chris. But! New Orleans is better known for their seafood selection. This location in New Orleans has a particular dish I really enjoyed that I hadn't come across in other locations; The spicy shrimp. It has a nice spice kick that wasn't too overwhelming. Soft texture and perfectly cooked. Everything else was pretty standard as well. The seafood tower and wedge salad was fresh and delicious. The lobster bisque is always mandatory for me. It's a comforting dish that warms the belly up and it also has generous chunks of lobster in it. Attentive service, friendly staff. I've always felt welcomed, comfortable, and appreciated here. Solid restaurant! Amazing food overall for the area and so convenient since it's at the hotel.

Went there a friend's birthday dinner. Fantastic service & good food. It was really busy that evening but we were still taken care of.

This restaurant is closed!!! I placed scheduled order in the morning for that evening through door dash and it went through. Got confirmation and my card was charged! Later when I didn't get any updates regarding delivery I contacted door dash only to be told that they have info that restaurant is closed until 10/30/2023. Sorry for inconvenience lol they canceled my order and refunded money but it will take 5-10 business days to post on my account. Restaurant is still open on Ruth Chris website, Yelp and google! I called the number listed for the restaurant 10+ times, goes to voicemail mail and it says mail box is full. I also called Ruth Chris steakhouse in Metairie they picked up right away and told me that restaurant in question is closed! I see that newest review was posted 4 days ago so I'm assuming this happened recently but still they should've posted updates!

Waited 58 minutes for a reservation for 4 on Sunday night at 7pm. I read Jeff C's review from 2 months ago and thought " that won't happen to us". It did, but worse. Why even take reservations? Yelp site says it has vegan options, which would be baked potatoes and salads like you'd expect at any steakhouse. The place was so dimly lit I could hardly see my plate. The men's room was disgustingly dirty and old. No need to mention that the entire menu is overpriced. I realize that this is New Orleans but for the money I expected more.

Consistent excellence. Majority staff are rockstars. Great service and personalities. Kitchen gets 5 stars. Been eating here 17 years. For a corporate chain, they are my exception to always ran with care not volume as a goal

Superior service and yummy food all during Essence!!! The dessert... you can never go wrong.

Food is terrible. Prices are high. I started with the lobster bisque. The table next to me had ordered one also and before mine came they said it was so bad they sent it back to the kitchen. I thought maybe they were a little picky, but then I tried mine. Something was seriously off. I ate half of it, but then I had to stop. It was inedible. For my entrée I had the crabcake sandwich. The crab meat was fishy tasting and the rest of the sandwich was out of proportion and heavy on the bread. I forced down the crabcake part, but it was not very good. I ordered a Diet Coke with my meal which ended up being $3.50. The waitress asked me if I wanted water or sparkling water. I said sure I'll have water, thinking it might be free tapwater. She brought me a large bottle of Panna water for which they charged $7.00. Really! The total bill for my sub-par lunch was $46.84 before tip. Lesson learned. Avoid this place like the plague!

Pete and Abdeler (please forgive the spelling) were the best. Pete was extremely friendly and helpful. Abder was just the best. Every time he went to bar he made sure to check in on us. The service was great. Now stay away from the steak salad and the Lobster bisque. The calamari was on point.

Okay so let me start by saying it wasn't bad. But for a nice steak I want something better than just it wasn't bad you know? There are way better places in New Orleans to get steak. The crabcakes were all right but a little lacking in flavor. The steak was OK but they over cooked mine. Got coffee and chocolate torte for dessert they brought out regular coffee instead of decaf even though I had asked for decaf twice and the cake was pretty good. Our waiter was a little spotty in attentiveness but not the worst waiter I've ever had. Overall it was just a mediocre experience - it wasn't bad but for an expensive steak again do you want some thing that's more than just not bad.

It was my first time going to Ruth's Chris and I was so happy I did! The waiter, the ambiance, the meal, everything was excellent. I made reservations for 4 and waited roughly 10 minutes for the table after checking in. (It was a very busy Friday night) Once seated, we were immediately greeted with waters and hot fresh bread for the table. Amazing. For my meal- I got the cream spinach and the filet. The filet was cooked perfectly. The warm pink center was perfect and it melted in my mouth with the taste of warm butter. Fantastic. The creamed spinach was also a good pair to go along with it. For drinks- I had the blueberry mojito and the blackberry sidecar. It took awhile for the drinks to come out (bartenders were training) but once they did. They tasted amazing. I would go back just for drinks!

My go to for lunch meetings for a guaranteed delivery of value and service. Not too loud and the location is perfect.

A really great and fine dining location in NOLA. I enjoyed this as being the location for a family friend birthday dinner. I had the asparagus (without the Hollandaise) and salad, veggies on top of veggies and enjoyed every bite. I am just hoping the menu gets some improvement in the vegan dishes, I am seriously waiting because, if there were vegan dishes that were as quality in preparation and delivered the flavor of your sides. It would be amazing and I would be eating them as well. So, please up grade the menu, so that I can enjoy more than your sides. On to the next review, Bye-Bye!

We had the best dinner! Joseph was our waiter and he served and he entertained. Great knowledge of NO restaurants. He made our night. The food was awesome beginning to end. My wife does not eat much and they graciously divided the chef's grouping of appetizer, salad, steak and dessert. Strongly recommend for two in love.

Steak was super good and the classics menu came with an appetizer, entree, side, plus dessert. Fair priced and Joe B. along with Joe J. were very helpful. Also gave us good tips on what to do in the city while we're here.

This was one of the best meals I've had at Ruth Chris ! This is now one of my favorites, the stuffed chicken breast was so good, the bbq shrimp and crab cakes are always amazing.
