Google
I've eaten and reviewed a lot of places, but Ruth's Chris Steak House is my #1 favorite restaurant. When it comes to the menu, you almost can't go wrong. My top pick for each category is: appetizer - Spicy Shrimp; salad - Caesar Salad; soup - Lobster Bisque; entree - 16 oz Ribeye; side - Sweet Potato Casserole; potato - Garlic Mashed; vegetable - Roasted Brussels Sprouts; dessert - Chocolate Duo. Honorable mentions include the Calamari, Sesame Ginger Seared Sea Scallops, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Grilled Asparagus, and the Warm Apple Crumb Tart. The Sparkling Pomegranate Lemonade isn't worth the sampler sip and the Flourless Chocolate Sin Cake is aggressively rich, but otherwise it's a perfect menu. The service is the magic of Ruth's Chris. You essentially have three dedicated servers to make sure you're covered your entire visit. This is a go-to place for my anniversary because I know everything will be taken care of. We once arrived with a gift card, but it had expired and we didn't realize until the check. Without hesitation, the manager let us know they always accept gift cards, and he earned a lifetime customer by taking care of a potentially embarrassing moment for us and solving it immediately. Every visit lives us go its southern hospitality roots. I enjoy this location. It meets the needs for all special occasions (romantic, formal, business, etc.). They offer valet parking, or you can find street parking. I personally like using Lot 3 to the south, and I pay for 2 hours.

Google
We made an online reservation for our anniversary and were seated quickly when we arrived. The table was set with rose petals and a happy anniversary sign. The service was outstanding, and the food was amazing. We finished with banana cream pie, which was incredible. A very good experience overall! 10/10!

Google
If I could give 10 Stars for service I would. Jaden was our server and he was Fantastic. It was my first time there, and my son and I enjoyed an unforgettable dining experience. The steak was cooked to perfection, but if I had to say, the Spicy lobster hors d'oeuvres was mind blowing. I will save up to go here again.

Google
I think this is one of the best places I've eaten. It's definitely expensive, but it's worth it. I had crab cakes and the chocolate duo dessert. Both were absolutely delicious. The staff and severs were very professional and entertaining, although a bit hard to hear sitting in the back of the booth and the place being quite noisy. I would definitely eat here again, for special occasions.

Google
Top notch, music slightly louder than anticipated. Or not quite it. Not complaining don't get me wrong. The food is fantastic as well as the service. I would consider this location a higher end establishment so with that id anticipate instrumental music not what's on the radio or what chili's is also playing. Alan was fantastic worth every penny. Or in this case. A couple bills

Google
Never trust a man to do your food photos lol I wanted all the food in the pick but he only got my venison. The New Zealand Red Tail double-bone venison from Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is so freaking good. It is in a blackberry and wine reduction sauce that is amazing. It has to be around 12 ounces of meat. So good.

My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary this past weekend and the experience was fantastic! Our servers were so nice, friendly and attentive. Particularly Mateo, he gave us some great recommendations and was a delight through dinner. The food was phenomenal and was the perfect way for us to enjoy a much needed night together in celebration. They even had flower petals on the table for us. I definitely recommend!

Google
Zane was a phenomenal server! Noah assisting and Linda serving the food were a great team! From the crab filled crab cakes to the tomahawk perfectly seasoned and cooked to exact temp! We got creamed spinach for the first time and it was a great pairing to the steak! We always get the sweet potatoes and they were on point! The Chris coffee was a great way to end our meal accompanied by a key lime pie and banana cream pie that was so light, creamy and bruled! My birthday is today and my husband Monday and they surely made sure to make us feel special. We go to Ruths Chris for their service followed by their unmatched food!

Candy B.

Yelp
Came here with my family to celebrate my dad's birthday and the service from Mateo was phenomenal. Definitely recommend this location and will for sure come back !!

Yelp
5 stars for service alone! These folks know how to serve and ensure a top notch experience. Is the steak overpriced for prime beef? Absolutely. Do I throw out that concern once a year, and enjoy the moment... Yes, I do. The porterhouse for two was about $126, but dang was it delicious. My wife got the wedge salad and said it needed some acid (cherry tomatoes or a balsamic drizzle), but was otherwise crisp and refreshing. I asked for extra caesar dressing for my caesar salad, which was nice with the shaved Parmesan. The au gratin potatoes were cheesey and tasty, but a bit boring. The desserts... Key lime pie, peanut butter pie. Both were amazing. They always give a free one to share for special occasions.

Yelp
Took my Father to Ruth's for his 83rd birthday looking for an exceptional experience for him. Was a little sad to see they had replaced the Spicy Lobster with Spicy shrimp. They said the prices of Lobster had gone up so much that it didn't make sense any longer. And the Shrimp, 4 big, splayed shrimp for $24 dollars was almost as good. But nothing beets the Spicey Lobster. We ordered the Au gratin Potatoes as usual for a side and the potatoes were a little hard and under cooked, but still tasted good. Not as cheesy as we've had in the past. My father and I both ordered the Filet with Shrimp, medium rare. The shrimp were three big prongs in a wheel placed on top of the steak. They were a little on the tough side and lacking a little flavor. The steaks came out with a light pink center what I would call Med Well. My father commented on this as well and the server overheard and offered to redo the steaks. The service here is impeccable, they really do go out of their way to give exceptional service. However, when the brought the steaks back they had a cold red center, rare. I tried to cook them on the 500-degree plate, but it wasn't the same. Normally when we come here the steaks are perfect with a nice, seared crust and perfect temperature inside. The server did offer another hot plate to continue cooking but I didn't want to be a bother. Just an off night. It's too bad as my Dad commented the next day that we had an interesting experience at dinner, not the impact I was looking for. My wife had the petite filet with blue cheese crumbles, med-rare which was cooked to temperature and very good. For three of us with entrees, two sides, an appetizer and comped desserts it still came to $370 with tip. They gave my Dad a free desert and offered one to my wife and I as well. Very nice of them.

Yelp
I brought my daughter here for her birthday dinner after Halloween trick-or-treating, and unfortunately, the experience was not up to the Ruth's Chris standard I've always known and loved. We ordered the Spicy Shrimp, Potatoes Au Gratin, Stuffed Chicken, and the Ruth's Chris Chopped Salad. Every dish missed the mark. The shrimp was overcooked and tough, the potatoes were undercooked with burnt cheese on top, and the stuffed chicken -- normally one of their best dishes -- tasted overly marinated in lemon juice and barely had any cheese inside. Even the salad had an off flavor and didn't taste very fresh. Our server John was wonderful, so my issue is not with the service at all. It seemed clear the kitchen was rushing, and unfortunately, it showed. For a special occasion like my daughter's birthday, that was incredibly disappointing. I've dined at Ruth's Chris locations all over, and the quality is normally impeccable. This visit, however, felt far below their usual excellence. I truly hope management looks into what went wrong that evening because guests expect and deserve better consistency from such a respected name.

Yelp
There is a lot to like here. The steak was phenomenal. Might have been the best filet I've ever had. The mashed potatoes were incredible. The Fresh Seasonal Berries with Sweet Cream Sauce dessert was divine. Highly recommend. The Prime Time Dinner menu was a welcome surprise. You can get a soup or salad, petite filet, potatoes or spinach, and a select list of desserts at a lower price as long as you come in prior to 6:30. The price is compelling versus ordering a la carte. The service was superb. I want to give them five stars. Maybe I'm being petty, but the Caesar salad was simply not great. You can do better at just about any other restaurant. It lacked flavor. Bland. And a Caesar should not be boring. To me, if you're paying top dollar, and you do at Ruth's Chris, you've got to be held to a higher standard. You have to get it all right. Would I come back? Of course. But by golly I'd order a different salad next time.

Yelp
Always amazing. Steaks cooked to perfection, sides compliment the main entries. Very good

Yelp
All around Ruth's Chris knows what they're doing when it comes to hospitality. Not only was the food delicious but the staff was friendly and our experience all around was a memorable one. The appetizers came out within a super reasonable amount of time and our steaks were cooked exactly as we requested. Though the restaurant was busy on a Friday night the staff knew exactly what to do and how to be attentive at each table. The restaurant was also very cleanly which added to the excellent experience!
google avatar

Pari S.

Yelp
Excellent service and delicious food in a high class ambiance. There's nothing I could have complained about for my bday dinner. I really felt taken care of, the service was very attentive and accommodating. The appetizer shrimp was good but the grilled shrimp that came with my petite filet was better. And my filet was perfect. It was cooked a perfect medium and the flavor and texture were on point.

Yelp
Oh.my.gosh. I've had a good amount of expensive stake in my life and up until I came here, my expectations were quite low. I'd assumed that steak even at the highest price point isn't any good. I could not have been more mistaken. While everything we had here was good, I cannot overstate how good the filet mignon was. Not only was it like 100x bigger than the pathetic filets that are offered at other restaurants, but it truthfully just melted in my mouth. From the first bite to the last I was shook at how good this steak was. For anyone that may have felt like me, that steak isn't really for them, please in the name of all that is good in the world give Ruth's Chris a try. While your bank account may slightly regret it, you most certainly will not

Yelp
My wife and I went out for date night to Ruth's Chris recently. We had made reservations and arrived early and just had to wait a few minutes while they prepared our table. After seating, we were quickly provided water and met our server who offered suggestions and chef specials as we looked over the menu. He was very helpful in answering our questions and attentive throughout our night there. We ordered our food: Appetizers - Sesame Ginger Seared Sea Scallops - $28 Sides - Potatoes (Mashed) & Cremini Mushrooms - $14/$15 Wife's Entree - Surf & Turf (Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail) - $110 My Entree - Cowboy Ribeye - $80 Everything that we order was absolutely delicious! It was very flavorful and there was never an overwhelming taste of salt, pepper, or garlic. The steaks melted in our mouths. The scallops were seared perfectly and was amazing especially with the side jus. Everything was brought out hot and tasted amazing! (If you have never been here before, they bring steaks and other entrees out on 500-degree plates, so do not touch the plates). The drinks were amazing, and the service was on top of our needs for the entire night, making sure our water was topped off periodically, making sure our food was to our liking, and checking in to see if there was anything else we needed. The staff was all very friendly and was very professional, the manager came to our table as well making sure that everything was going well. I will always recommend Ruth's Chris for a true fine dining experience. It was a minute since my last visit here, but dinner on Saturday was everything I remember and better! If you want to spoil your significant other for a classy date night, Ruth's Chris is at the top of that list!

Yelp
My sister and I came here for our first time last night, and everything was so good! I got the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and creamy spinach, and my sister got the salmon with a side salad... and everything was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection:) For dessert, we both shared one of their yummy cheesecakes (seriously, that sucker is huge!), and it was divine! Will definitely be back:)

Yelp
My brother and I decided to take my mom and dad here for Mother's Day. Since I've already been once for my birthday, I thought it would be nice to have my parents try Ruth's Chris for the first time. They don't get to go out to expensive dinners like this often, so it was a nice treat. I made reservations one month in advance since I know that they can be busy on holidays, especially ones like Mother's Day. My parents loved the scallops and calamari. My brother and dad shared the Tomahawk (I didn't get a picture of it unfortunately...) while my mom and I shared the porterhouse for two. As for sides, we could've skipped on the Lobster Mac & Cheese this time around. For some reason, it was very watery. All the other sides were great. The service at Ruth's Chris is always top notch and I felt very taken care of. There is free public parking on Sundays and it's also located next to a parking garage if you don't want to park on the street. They also do valet parking if you don't want to deal with parking at all. For those who are looking to save a couple dollars, Costco has a gift card deal. We spent about $400 on gift cards and got $100 worth of gift cards for free.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to take our son, his wife and two children (age 2 1/2 and 4 1/2) to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for their anniversary dinner. Although the two of us arrived early, we were seated immediately to await the rest of our family. Our primary server (John) and his team introduced themselves and a sumptuous meal followed. The restaurant's ambience is very classy and subdued, formal enough for any occasion without being intimidating or ostentatious. We began with several appetizers, including shrimp cocktails, seared ahi tuna, a crab meat stack, and stuffed mushrooms. The seafood was all amazingly fresh. The shrimp were colossal; the tuna was nicely seared outside but cool and red in the center; the crab stack was mostly jumbo crab lumps stacked with avocado, tomato, paper thin red onions, and more jumbo crab meat; mushrooms were stuffed mostly with crab, butter, and some breadcrumbs to bind. All portions were very generous, and so the table happily shared. The children's menu does not feature hotdogs, chicken nuggets, or tater tots. Even young children can enjoy a beautifully prepared petite filet mignon or a juicy chicken breast with appropriate sides, all of which my granddaughters loved. The adults all feasted on a massive, 2-inch thick Porterhouse for two, and a bone-in Ribeye, both of which arrived a perfect medium rare, on platters sizzling with butter. The porterhouse was served with a half pound lobster tail, a béarnaise sauce and sautéed asparagus. Since only prime cuts are served here, we could easily have used butter knives to slice these luxurious meats. Steak portions are such that our party could only consume about half of what was served. The steaks are a carnivore's dream come true. All second courses and side dishes were equally spectacular. The lobster bisque was delicious, redolent of lobster, cream, and the hint of cognac. The lobster mac & cheese is enormous and would easily have fed a table of eight. The wedge salad was a masterpiece suffused with bacon and blue cheese. A sweet potato casserole was smooth, with a crunchy topping of pecans and brown sugar. Our creamed spinach was as rich and decadent as advertised. Do not skip this side. Naturally, a meal of this caliber had to conclude with equally great desserts. Premium ice creams were served to the children, while the adults enjoyed more sophisticated selections. Chocolate Sin Cake is bittersweet and dense and a chocolate lovers dream. Everyone loved the peanut butter pie, which was large enough to share. The bread pudding was exceedingly rich and indulgent and can be topped with either a sweet cream or whiskey sauce. Both the key lime and peanut butter pies were so extraordinary we took an extra slice of each to go. Yes, Ruth's Chris is pricey. However, dollar for dollar you get more for your money in terms of ultra premium food and courteous service than any other restaurant I've been to across the country. John, our waiter and his staff treated every request for changes, additions, or exclusions as if he and the entire culinary staff were only too happy to oblige. There were no mistakes, misunderstandings or missteps; just everything you wanted, exactly how you wanted it. I can give Ruth's Chris Steakhouse an unconditional five star review. We can't wait to return for our next celebration.

Corey W.

Yelp
Always consistent always good food. You can never go wrong with the risk, Chris. The service on the bar side leave something to be desired, but the dinner side has great service.

Yelp
Got to celebrate my husbands birthday at Ruth's Chris. I had heard about this place before and it certainly lived up to the expectations. I do have to say, their Au gratin potatoes were super garlicky but everything else we had was very good. Sever specified their special came with 3 asparagus but mine only had 2 because "they were big". Just thought it was interesting they would set that expectation and then bring one out with 2. Nonetheless , Service was good, food was good, and restaurant was nicely decorated. I would recommend.

Yelp
It's Ruth's Chris Steak House of course it was amazing. From the food, service to the ambiance it was giving very much rich vibe. The food was amazing. Very tender and it just melted in your mouth.

Yelp
We were a party of 10 stopping through on the way home from our Epic Motorhome adventure and needed a night out! Ruth Chris did not disappoint. Our waiter was enthusiastic about the menu and offered great drink options. The steak was fabulous as was the BQ Shrimp. We also get the hot plate again so we can continue to cook the steak in that butter.... the star of the meal is those sweet potatoes! If you want a winning meal with excellent service, this is a go to!
google avatar

Yelp
The ribeye steak may have been the best steak I've had in my entire life. It's been a month since I visited and I can't stop the craving to go back. I probably had good service and ambience too, but a month later the thing that stands out was that steak. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes.

Yelp
Handsdown the Best place to get a steak in SLC . Always love coming here when we are celebrating birthdays , fancy date nights & special occasions. Recommend making reservations prior to visiting . They do have affordable valet which makes it easier than driving around looking for metered parking . I love a good french onion soup and they do a great one here at Ruth and Chris'. Our absolute favorite appetizer is the spicy lobster . We tend to get the Porterhouse for 2 every time we visit. It is worth it for the quality. When I visited for my bday last month they bought me the chocolate cake with Berries- super delicious and not too rich or sweet as a finisher. All the staff from the valet , hostess and servers are friendly, professional and genuinely want to make sure guests have a great Dining experience . Can't wait to visit again !

Yelp
I feel like every body knows and loves Ruth's Chris! I went for the fourth time with my boyfriend and family and loved it! The service is always amazing and it's always fun to get dressed up for a fancy meal! I got the salmon which was pretty good! Never had tried it before and it came with lots of veggies on the side, which I appreciated! Most of their entrees don't come with a side, so this was a nice surprise! My boyfriend got the cowboy ribeye and as you can tell from the picture it is a HUGE steak! I think it was 22oz. He loved it and ate the whole thing! It was pretty expensive though. For sides we got shoestring fries and lobster Mac and cheese! Both were really good. You can never go wrong with the lobster Mac! If you've never been, I definitely recommend! I've yet to find something I don't like!

Yelp
Excellent food. Service is attentive and quick. The tables are not too close so you can have conversations without hearing the next table.

Yelp
We were sat back near the bar, the ambiance was quiet and serene. Our food was great! Our waiter Zane was a delight! Kind courteous and attentive. He made our first dining experience at Ruth's Chris memorable in the best way possible. A thousand thanks!

Yelp
We came to celebrate a graduation. I'd been looking forward to coming back for years now. Our server Kelly and her assistant Connor were so helpful and friendly all night. The service alone was fantastic! We started out by trying the ginger scallops. If you're a fan of scallops, these will not disappoint. We also enjoyed some lobster bisque and Caesar salad. The bisque had a good flavor but you didn't taste much lobster as there were no chunks. The salad was light and had a good Caesar dressing. I ordered the ribeye and my wife had the filet mignon. This is where Ruth's Chris shines. Perfectly seared and seasoned, super tender with butter melting over top of the steaks. Served on a 500 degree plate, what could be better? It was hot, juicy, and delicious to the last bite. My wife's filet was tender and the best she's ever had. We also ordered the peanut butter pie and the key lime pie. There are way too many dessert options to choose from. The peanut butter pie had an Oreo crust and was delightful. The Key lime pie had the perfect amount of tart and featured a graham cracker crust. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and plan to have an excuse to come back soon.

Yelp
Ruth's Chris never disappoints. I came here after a conference and was seated immediately. The scallops were cooked to perfection, and the filet mignon with asparagus was excellent. The service was also prompt and attentive.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing. Was passing through salt lake for the night for work and wanted a nice meal. I didn't have any fancy clothes on this trip so I just sat at the bar. I was definitely underdressed but I was treated with the same great service everyone else in the restaurant was receiving. Not a single complaint. Definitely expensive but you know that when you walk in
google avatar

Yelp
There are always high expectations at Ruth's Chris, due to the price. But they exceeded all expectations with the quality of the meal and the service

Yelp
Wish I could give more than 5 stars. The whole experience was incredible. Made a reservation well in advance. We parked nearby and walked in and were greeted by a few friendly hostesses and hosts. We were seated right away in a nice private room. Our server was absolutely amazing. He was so personable and kind. He seemed to genuinely care about us and our experience. The lobster Mac and cheese was absolutely delicious. It was so rich and creamy. There was a lot of lobster as well. The green chilies were a nice addition to add some subtle spice. The lobster bisque was also so creamy and rich. It was some of the best I've had and I quite enjoyed it. We also loved the mashed potatoes as they were a great texture and bursting with buttery goodness. The filet was melt in your mouth perfection. Definitely the best steak I've ever had. The flavor from the baste was absolutely mouth watering and wanted you to have more and more with every bite. It was so tender and delicious. The peanut butter pie was so good for a peanut butter lover. Loved the Oreo crush and the chocolate ganache. Overall, amazing restaurant, wonderful service, and absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I mean the quality of steak has plummeted at this place. I would probably never take a chance on it again. It's too expensive for bad steak. We had dry filets which I don't even know how you do. I never leave bad reviews but we just didn't have a good experience and I expected a lot better. ‍

Yelp
***Updated below *** The service was excellent. The food was good.... But not great. My wife got a filet- cooked great and tender. I got the ribeye... not great. Tough and chewy. The marble was okay. The sides came out and they were cold.... We got the au gratin & sweet potato. They were both cold. We sent them back and they came out better. That was very disappointing. We got a salad- pretty good. And the French onion soup which was tasty. Overall experience was good. Not great. $250 for good is not acceptable. Has to be great to justify the price. Jimmy - the manager - reached out to us directly and made this right. Jimmy is a great guy and wants everyone to enjoy their time at this restaurant. We will be going back just because of this. thanks @ Jimmy !

Yelp
Second time I've been here and the staff here is AMAZING! We usually do a reservation and have always been seated in time with no wait. They staff is extremely knowledgeable about their menu and will suggest things! My favorite thing in their menu is their Sear Ahi tuna! This is a MUST! It's full of flavor and comes with some pickled cucumbers that is delicious when paired together. I ended up getting the T-bone with the surf n turf special ( lobster tail with asparagus and some sauce) I highly suggest getting it! It was good! They have always done a good job with making sure the streak is to your liking. If for some reason it isn't they are very good about getting you a new one. I've seen people complain about how their steak was made or if their order was not to their standard and the staff is quick to get it resolved! Husband got the cowboy ribeye he loved it. We got a side of the Au gratin and it was delicious. It's a shareable dish! Doesn't look like a lot but it is for two people! For dessert we got their caramelized banana cream pie and omgggggg DROOOOOL it is soooooo delicious. Definitely is expensive, but you are paying for the quality of the food and their extremely great service! Will be back again!

Yelp
Delicious food! Great service. Our waitress was very attentive and great to chat with. The flower petals on the table with a candle was a nice touch for our anniversary! Also free dessert! Peanut butter pie is the way to go!!!! So delicious!

Yelp
Great food and great service. We went for our Valentines dinner and was not disappointed! I will always recommend Ruth's Chris. I love their sweet potatoe casserole, seared ahi, and of course I their rib eye! We will be back.

Yelp
For the price point this place is way overhyped! The best way I can describe it is food for people who want a good home cooked meal but who don't have access to an actual good home cooked meal. We got a ribeye, stuffed chicken, mashed potatoes, and Mac n' cheese. It was good, just not great. We sat at the bar and the service was just ok for the amount of patrons there were. People watching was the best part!
google avatar

Yelp
Great all around experience. Would definitely go back. Service was top notch, food was exceptional.

Yelp
At the suggestion of our server, Cayte, we tried the scallops as one of our appetizers. She raved it was the best thing on the menu and I agree! It's hard to find scallops that are cooked just right and not only were these 4 jumbo ones perfectly seared, they came with an Asian dipping sauce on a bed of slaw. Would love to see these become a main menu item! The stuffed mushrooms were large and filling. As usual, the filets were well seasoned and brought out on a hot plate bathed in melted butter. Ambience is classy yet cozy. Service top notch.

Amelia K.

Yelp
I had a wonderful dinner to myself tonight. My servers, Edi and Nate, went above and beyond to ensure I had a good time. Edi's recommended entree of the venison chop with the blackberry sauce was incredible. The staff was incredibly fun and polite, the atmosphere was chill and quiet, and the food was top notch. Topping off dinner with the lava cake and ice cream was the only acceptable end to the night. Thank you Edi!

Yelp
Back again for our anniversary celebration. Our go to steakhouse. Always and still is amazing. We love the calamari there but wish they had put the sweet chili sauce on the side like how they used to because it made the calamari a bit soggy and a little salty at the bottom where all the sauce was lying. Service is always great and attentive. Came to celebrate so we got free desert and it was good but a bit too hard for my teeth but still good!

Yelp
This was my first time and everything was delicious! The staff were so amazing and helpful! The valet is quick and affordable! Surprisingly it was pretty busy for a late Sunday night but we had a reservation and seated very quickly!

Yelp
Let's start by saying the staff is incredibly friendly. We went on a Monday night hoping for it to be less crowded however it was just as crowded as a Friday night! The server was definitely overwhelmed whereas other sections were under seated. I would appreciate continually having our server because she was genuinely incredible. Additionally, The table set up was terrible I had my back to another table that actually slammed into my back being in the corner. Sitting in the bar would've been more romantic honestly. It was really loud. I was hoping for a luxury experience and the food was good and we did this for my husbands birthday but the atmosphere and the slow service was lacking. I will never sit in a side room again. It was awful.

Yelp
Overall, dinner here was a great experience. Almost everything had a great texture and balanced flavors. I was especially impressed with their chop salad, which was very different than I was expecting. The service was also top notch. We got the lobster bisque, crab stuffed mushrooms, scallops, potatoes at gratin, chop salad, brussel sprouts, and the blackberry venison. The scallops were cooked to perfection and had an amazing flavor. Personally, the veggies were unnecessary and there was too much sauce but they were still the best scallops I've ever had so far. My boyfriend ordered the blackberry venison medium rare. It came rare. He said the flavor was amazing but was very disappointed at how it was cooked.

Yelp
Went to Ruth's Chris for the first time this past week. We went for my boyfriends birthday. We ordered the spicy lobster for an appetizer, he loved it. I'm not a fan of lobster, personally. He said it wasn't too spicy. Presentation was beautiful. He ordered the filet 11oz steak. We didn't get a great picture of this because it was so dim in the room. He loved it! Said it had great flavor, cooked to perfection, & super high quality meat. I ordered a vegetarian meal they had which included two portobello mushroom caps with what tasted like a cherry tarte flavor, over mashed potatoes with asparagus, broccoli, & grilled tomatoes. It was delicious! The portobello mushroom flavor with the cherry was nothing like I've ever had before. We ordered a few sides as well: grilled asparagus which comes with hollandaise sauce & was so good!, au gratin potatoes, and sweet potato casserole. I loved the asparagus & the au gratin potatoes the most. These sides were sharable. We ordered crème brulee for dessert. We both wish it had more of a caramelized top on it than it did. We ordered some drinks as well when we were there. I loved the Ruby Red Greyhound cocktail & my boyfriend loved the Ruth's Sazerac cocktail. We also tried the key lime pie dessert martini. It was fantastic! Pricy place but it really was fun to go for a special occasion. We loved it. Service was spectacular. Would definitely go back!

Yelp
The food is always good!! Vast majority of the time it's great!!! Service is typically pretty dang good as well! If you are looking for a really good steak dinner, Ruth's Chris is the place. We have been trying a lot more high end steak houses and we always end up coming back to here! Spicy lobster is amazing!!!

Yelp
I'm from London, UK, & my husband is American, from SLC! We'd been to the Ruth's Chris in Park City, but it was NOWHERE NEAR the experience we had in SLC!! The STANDOUT STARS for us were Dylan (our server) & Jimmy (the Manager) As a Brit, I've been to a lot of gorgeous restaurants around the world & the service has been GREAT!! But, for our anniversary in UT, this was truly THE NICEST PLACE/EXPERIENCE we could've hoped for! They were genuinely friendly, amazing & all round FANTASTIC!! I honestly recommend this SLC branch for ANY special occasions!! Thank you again to Dylan, Jimmy, & Alan... you all made our anniversary that much MORE SPECIAL & MEMORABLE!!! We adore you all. See you soon. Much appreciated. From Lizzy & Chris. Xxx

Yelp
Six of us for dinner last night. Excellent service, excellent hot steaks, excellent salads, excellent drinks, excellent desserts. Unfortunately, what this extremely expensive restaurant is lacking is a dress code. I don't mind paying for excellence, but I dont want to see people in baggy jeans, untucked t-shirt, and backwards farmer's cap in that environment. Get that fixed and I'll be back. Otherwise, nope.

Yelp
I've never eaten at this location, I was pleasantly surprised. From the moment we arrived, valet was so kind and opened doors for us. Hostess was friendly, and our waitress Maggie was so knowledgeable and we enjoyed our service. The Christmas decorations were so pretty! I would highly recommend the peanut butter cup pie and the key lime pie!

Yelp
My husband and I have been here a few times for special occasions and it's been a great experience each time. The service is excellent with the waiters/staff being on point with their presentation, help, timing, etc. The food is delicious! I personally get the petite filet every time. It's plenty for me and my husband has changed it up a bit. This time he got the bigger filet and we were both very pleased. We've tried several of their sides and they have all been really good. This time we got the mashed potatoes and asparagus and shared them. They were both really good. We've had the fries and other potatoes which yes, were all really yummy as well. The cocktails are good when we get them and the bread of course, can't forget to mention the bread. The bread and butter are delicious! I appreciate the ambiance of the restaurant and how "nice" it all feels. This recent visit was for our anniversary and it's definitely a place I would recommend for an anniversary date (or bday) as the staff ensures that it's mentioned , wishing you a happy ____ and providing rose petals. It really helps enhance the "celebratory" feeling. Lastly, we have tried a couple of the desserts. This visit we tried the caramelized banana cream pie and it was a great addition to our dinner/evening.

Yelp
Here at Ruth's Chris you are welcomed with smiles and the respect of being the guest that makes you feel comfortable. The waiters/waitresses never left our table with any problem but making me feel like I had the meat sweats ha! Super nice inside the restaurant and it's fancy but not too fancy like you're out of place but there's that tasteful luxury inside that makes you feel a sense of nice spoiling that we all deserve. The food is top tier with them making sure you are aware of how much they respect the steaks and keep on a separate plate with all the meats juices! Nothing but flavor you can't even re create to where they leave a nice memory in your head that you will always make sure you go back to re live it! The side dishes are all a bonus on top of the steaks and the desserts jeez I got the cheesecake that was made for a family On the big size that just ouches your mouth with flavor
