Had a nice evening out grabbing dinner with the husband here. We sat at the bar counter and found a seat easily. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday night at 6:30pm. No complaints here 😜 We each had a cocktail each.....amazing but pricey. $18/specialty drink. I ordered of their $55 combo meal which included choice of soup or salad (the French onion soup out of this world btw), I had roasted chicken with creamed spinach side, and dessert (cheesecake which I took home). Portion sizes were good.... I had leftovers to take home (the hubby did not). Service was professional and food came out quick (but perfectly piping hot). Everything was delicious.

This was our first visit to Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and we were delighted with the service and food! We had happy hour drinks and food! I had THE BEST truffle fries I have EVER had! Plus was such a large portion. My husband had the sliders which were very tasty. The atmosphere was that of a really fancy restaurant, but every waiter was so sweet, and the pricing is really reasonable.

My son took me to Ruth's this evening for my Birthday. A total Five star experience all around. Was the best Filet Everyone seemed to make my Birthday Special. The manager came around to check on everything and our server was exceptional as in Jeremy B.

This is more comparable review from when we dined at Ruth’s Chris in Sarasota before Darden took over the company and afterwards. Full disclosure to people going, they do not provide military discount and they also do not take the Ruth’s Chris rewards app either. (Not calculated in my review, more just so others are aware) The difference is staggering with how Ruth’s Chris Steak House used to be prior to Darden Corporations taking over it. Previously you were created warmly by everyone, your photo was taken, you felt like a king or queen when you dined with them. The restaurant was well taken care of; it felt *ritzy*, and worth the money you’re spending there, because it’s a lot of money. Now, I feel like I’m walking into a LongHorn Steakhouse restaurant with Halls Chophouse prices! The nice, fancy restaurant side of it is hidden in the back where you don’t even notice it, and if you don’t have a reservation, which we didn’t realize we needed on a Thursday evening at 6pm, you don’t get to sit back there, you’re ushered to the bar top area where there is no pizazz or nice decor. Yet you’re still expected to pay the same prices! They weren’t busy, so why not put people back there at the nicer tables so they can enjoy it regardless of reservation?? Second thing, the wait staff seem like they’re very disinterested in wanting to help or answer questions. The floor manager at the front was helpful but I saw many people just standing around the bar, talking, they didn’t bother to get to know us at all. I wonder if it’s the same treatment in the nicer room in the back?? The food, not worth the price. It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but the plating is all jacked up, no space to actually cut my steak or eat the lobster, such a small plate makes me think it’s not worth the price. Where’s the bigger plate?? The cook on the steaks were all the same (I had ordered mid rare, another mid and the other mid well) they all came out mid rare but we didn’t want to wait another 20-30 minutes for another plate so we just cooked our own food on our 500 DEGREE PLATE, it’s literally that hot so it’s almost impossible to move the plate once the server sets it down. The sides, potatoes and creamed spinach needed more salt or garlic. We ended up mixing the leftover garlic sauce for the bread (pictured) and put that in the creamed spinach, what a game changer! It was delicious with that! Blue cheese for the salad was homemade but needs more creaminess, it was very hard to mix into the salad and just clumped everywhere. French onion soup was very tasty, nice amount of cheese and great flavor. I had the tequila sunrise (pictured) it was good, I watched them make it, the fruit was fresh and flavor was nice, not sure if worth 15 dollars but still, very good. They did make it up to us by giving us a free dessert (didn’t ask for it, it was unprompted, they asked if we were there for a special occasion), my mother had just had total knee replacement a week prior and we wanted to celebrate her recovery. They brought out a bread pudding (which was INCREDIBLE, that was truly the best thing there). It was pretty funny because they put Happy Birthday (we weren’t celebrating a birthday) and get well soon on the plate. All in all, it was…mid. Not what I was expecting from the last time I had gone to Ruth’s Chris. I was hoping for that same level of enthusiasm and wow factor for spending over $250.00, but all I got was an experience I could find at Long Horn for a quarter of the price.

This was our first time at this newer Ruth Chris and it truly was a fantastic experience. We dined at a great U shaped bar. Service was amazing. Food was equally amazing and incredibly tasty. Ordered the Filet Mignone, cold water lobster tail, came with two very good sides (cream spinach and mashed potatos) and cheese cake dessert for both of us. Very filling. I will be back!

Our 1st time visiting the Lakewood Ranch location. Promptly seated upon arrival for our reservation. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable staff. We had Ruth’s classics, my filet with shrimp, my husband’s with lobster tail. Steaks were perfectly seasoned & cooked, served on a 500° plate. Side of garlic mashed potatoes were delicious, and the cheesecake dessert yummy!

We hosted our annual Christmas party here this year and we were very happy with the service, atmosphere, and food. We have done other, similar restaurants in the past and Ruth's Chris was a clear winner. Jennifer helped us set up all the details and really gave the event the special touches that made it memorable. She checked in with us throughout the event to make sure everything was running smoothly. Ethan was a wonderful and attentive server and the pace of the meal was perfect. I would highly recommend hosting an event at Ruth's Chris. We will be back next year!

It's been a few years since I've visited a Ruth's Chris. It's not on my list of favorites for whatever reason. They used to have one of the best happy hours but time has passed, the economy has inflated, prices have gone up. This falls in line with my review being what it is. Unfortunately the happy hour is more of what a "normal" menu should be with the discounts on some items being only $1. A $13 Martini seems about where it should be in a day to day. I know happy hours where you can get one for $6. I tried the Artisan Chicken Sandwich and it was very flavorful and seemed fresh. Well presented and came out quickly. The fries seemed to be "fresh cut" and were a bit soggy. I like them that way, but know many that wouldn't like that. Humburto was behind the bar and was very personalable and sparked good conversation. The bar was clean and stocked and overall had the typical steakhouse feel. A little classy, a little dark, a little expensive. But, that's Ruth's Chris so no surprises.

Great new spot. We've had Ruth's Chris before but this one seems a cut above. If you care about service and friendliness then this place is TOP notch for that. We were checked on and greeted by so many people in the nicest ways. Food was excellent. Hubby got filet perfectly cooked. And I got crab cakes which was the 2nd best I've had in Sarasota and I've had dozens. Salad was fresh and crisp and drinks were refilled frequently. Decor is beautiful, it wasn't a busy night so can't comment as to noise but was quiet when we were in. Complimentary valet (we did not use). We will be back!

First time into this location with wine friends. The ambiance is a bit more modern than some of the older Ruth's Chris locations, in a good way. A little more bright and inviting. Service was excellent all evening and the food was very good, with the exception of the odd "cubed" potatoes au gratin. Typically this dish is served with layers, thin sliced potatoes. The cubes were firm and the texture threw off the whole dish. Steaks were perfectly cooked, tender and tasty, and served on the signature sizzling hot plates (do not touch really means that). Definitely worth a revisit!

When you're looking for a good steak, Ruth's Chris never disappoints. Came in for a belated birthday dinner and had a special treat ready on the table... a personalized birthday card signed by all of the staff (nice touch)! Plenty of seating inside with a slightly elegant ambiance. Servers were friendly but the manager was amazing! She saw we had ordered some sweet potato casserole and changed my life by adding some ice cream with it on the side. Who would have thought that side dish could get any better (I cold seriously come here just for that)?! The steak was cooked to perfection and I love that they have an affordable combo meal that comes with. Soup or salad and dessert. My only complaint is that I don't eat shellfish so I wish there was an option that just had an 8oz filet. Either way they accommodated the meal and I let my sister take home the shrimp they put on the side for me. The French onion soup was perfectly cheesy and the dirty martini was just the way I like it. Their cocktail of the month was also delicious. We finished the night with personalized cheesecake for dessert and very full tummies. Thanks again for a wonderful night!

We've dined at Ruth's Chris several times, including back when we lived in California. I even wrote a review during their soft opening in 2023 here in Lakewood Ranch and they have never disappointed us. Today, we celebrated our 8th years anniversary, and our server and sommelier, Jeremy Brueske, provided excellent service. Manager Jennifer Arthur was hands-on and attentive--she personally came by our table to ensure everything was just right. From my perfectly cooked ribeye to my husband's bone-in strip with the Oscar-style enhancement and Béarnaise sauce, every detail was on point. Thank you for a memorable evening and exceptional service--we truly appreciated it.

We had our belated Valentine's dinner last night here we have mostly good things to say about our visit. This only my second time visiting a Ruth's Chris steakhouse. The hostess was pleasant, our waiter Anthony was very good, and the atmosphere was nice, not the biggest steakhouse but nice. We ordered 2 filets medium, French onion soup, wedge salad, and for our sides to accompany the steak we ordered lobster Mac and cheese, and au gratin potatoes, cheese cake, and crème brûlée. The steak was tender and seasoned just right, the wedge salad was what you would expect in a steakhouse and the blue cheese was tasty, French onion had no complaints, the potatoes were cheesy and good, and the lobster Mac and cheese was great and the chunks of lobster on it , wow. The cheese cake filling was fantastic a little thick on the crust but still great and the crème brûlée was on point. Overall a very good experience if I had to give it one negative is that we ordered both steaks to come out medium and one of them were a little undercooked but still good. Steaks were amazing! Ate here for an early Valentine's dinner and the steaks were cooked perfectly, the service was phenomenal and the restaurant was casual elegant. The only complaint I have was the Chocolate Martini was terrible. I am not sure why, but it tasted funny almost like drinking perfume. I get Chocolate Martinis everywhere. Very strange I will just order something else to drink the next visit. We spent $200 including tip.

Came here with some girl friends for happy hour. Seated in the outside patio which was perfect. I ordered a blueberry mojito - delicious. We ordered some apps and split the cheeseburger. Absolutely love that they allow you to split the cheeseburger and they still bring a full bowl of fries with each plate. Our server, Tobias was GREAT. Super friendly and very attentive. The spicy shrimp and cheeseburger - recommend.

My husband and I had an outstanding dinner at this fabulous restaurant. We were celebrating my birthday. Our server, John G, went out of his way to make that we were perfectly taken care of. He was very attentive, personable and informative. He made great suggestions. The crabcakes, filet mignon, creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes were excellent. The wine selection was impressive. This is our favorite restaurant and we cannot wait to return soon!

I've order take out before. This was my first in dining experience and I must say they all didn't disappoint. The host did amazing and wasn't robotic. We sat in the dining area since it was more intimate. Our server was Jakob. Quite gregarious and lovely gentleman. A true classic, from start to finish. Everyone was lovely and personable. Making an effort to make meaningful connections in a short amount of time. My husband got sea bass with a side of mashed potatoes and got medium well lamb chops with a side of steamed broccoli with a bottle of belle glos. Everything that hit our palates was delicious. Sequoia, one of the managers is very skilled in her craft. She checked in and followed through when she said she'd do something. All very attentive and working hard to make customers priority. I love it ! We definitely recommend this place for in dining for all occasions. Keep up the amazing work everyone. Michael's on east have them selves a contender! ;)

As expected the food was delicious, steaks are done well, the accoutrements are delicious. Service and drinks go hand in hand. The ambiance at the bar area is great the back dining can feel a little stuffy.

My hubby let me pick the spot for Mother's Day lunch for the two of us and I decided to go to Ruth's Chris for the first time! Our server Granville was attentive, the food was amazing and the ambiance was not bad. It was busy due to the holiday. I would have preferred a booth but nothing was available at the time of our reservation. We loved the hot bread. The calamari was great and my steak was delicious!! We had the classic from the menu which included 3 courses. We had the lobster bisque which was good but rich. I had the 6oz filet with shrimp served on that 500 degree plate and cut through so easily was amazing!! We finished with the cheesecake! The portions were great and the price was as expected. Definitely a wonderful first time experience!

Ruth's Chris Steak House does not disappoint. We arrived on a Friday for a private (birthday) party. I started with an Old Fashioned during our little cocktail hour before dinner. Service was excellent throughout the evening, and my drink arrived pronto. It was a nice sized glass with a generous pour. It was one of the best Old Fashioneds I've had out at a restaurant. They took great care of our private party, and the food was absolutely wonderful. We don't frequently come into Ruth's Chris, but I think we may become regulars now.

Okay so Ruth's Chris has not been my favorite in the past. This new store in Lakewood Ranch was fantastic. Ribeye with lobster and shrimp. The steak was delicious and so flavorful. Not burned and n the outside as is usual for Ruth's Chris. Very tender and juicy. I could go on and on. The lobster was also delicious. The grilled shrimp were also delicious and large. The mashed potatoes... well, they were flavorless, bland. Not terrible, but definitely not good. No salt or pepper or butter. Maybe not even real potatoes. Odd texture also. Service was good, not as high end as you might like but it was good. Very professional. It was our anniversary and they did add some nice touches, a nice card, rose pedals on the table and a desert. I am absolutely looking forward to returning.

We went to Ruth's Chris for happy hour in the bar and had a great experience. We tried several of their drinks, and the classic lemon drop was my favorite--very tasty. For food, we sampled the zucchini fries, goat cheese and artichoke dip, spicy shrimp, and the steak sandwich. The steak sandwich was the standout--delicious and really hit the spot. It was my wife's birthday, and she had the cheesecake with fruit for dessert, which was also fantastic. The service from Tobias was top-notch--he was friendly, made great recommendations, and was very attentive. We're definitely looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu and seeing Tobias!

I came here for a work party, and I had an amazing time. The drinks were perfect. They were so good for most part. I did not suggest getting the old-fashioned as it comes in a glass with a bunch of ice cubes and I don't believe that's the way to serve an old-fashioned but other than that there espresso martini And other mixed drinks they had were phenomenal. They had a couple of appetizers, shrimp, and some tiny empanadas, which were pretty good as well and for the main dish I had a steak with mashed potatoes, and everything was really good to the point where I would like to go back as soon as I can.

Thank you Jennifer, Kiara and Cristian for making our 48 anniversary special and memorable. Fleming's did not listen, care or accomorated but you did and you took care of us in such a short notice due to their failure. I'm a forever fan of Ruth's Chris!!!!! XOXO

Wow is all I can say. This is not the Ruth's Chris experience I've had at other Ruth's Chris locations. 1st of all we ordered Pellegrino with limes. We had to ask our waitress three times for limes. The first two apps were decent but not anything overly exciting... as you can see the wedge salad was wilted and I only ate a few bites. I ordered my filet medium and it came out rare. The waitress didn't come back for at least 10 min to check to see my filet. They then reheated my $52 steak making it chewy and not worth eating. For sides we ordered the mushrooms and Brussels sprouts. The mushrooms were the highlight of the meal. The Brussels sprouts were overcooked and very mushy. At the end of the night our dogs had a lot of very expensive filet leftovers. We will not be back to this location. I take my ratings very seriously and usually try to find highlights to give higher marks but this place offered none! Updated to 2 stars because they did decide to comp my steak and the Brussels Sprouts but still left hungry!

Food was awful. The wedge salad dressing too strong but not flavorful. Probably because they wet aged their beef, the steak had a weird texture. The shrimps and loaded potato was so so too. The sweet potato casserole was too sweet and not warm. I have been to Flemings many times and it's my all time favorite. Flemings has so much better quality food and service than here. The only thing I like about this restaurant was the sizzling plate, but not worth to come back for sizzling plate if the food in the plate not good. I have no complaint about the environment. It's nice and clean.

I have heard many great things about Ruth's Chris so my husband and I decided to give it a try for our anniversary. I will say, they certainly make sure to honor any special occasions and we even received a signed anniversary card from the staff, so kudos for that. For the price though, I was expecting to be blown away by the food, but unfortunately that was not the case. We both ordered steaks done medium rare and that is far from how they came out. My steak was very overcooked and had hardly any flavor and my husband's was probably more like medium well but did have some flavor. We ordered a few sides that were good but nothing to write home about. The one and only thing that did blow us away was the dessert; we got a crème brûlée topped with fresh berries and it was absolutely delectable! Definitely nice for a special occasion or a night out, but would prefer a local steakhouse that I know we will get the perfectly cooked steaks that we were looking for.

Arrive early if you want to experience Happy Hour! Not exactly like the HH I went to after college, but a chance to get a small break on a small number of food items and a handful of drink specials.

They were both over-cooked and not worth the $59 price tag. * The mashed potatoes were mashed potatoes. Nothing special. Drinks: * They have an extensive wine list! * Fantastic coffee! Value for money: * No, not worth the price. If you want to pay a premium for a good steak, check out Hyde Park Steakhouse or Capital Grille. While expensive, the food is better than Ruth's Chris.

Got a last minute reservation for 5 people for my mother's 70th bday tonight. From the start the staff and servers were nothing but friendly and exemplary in answering questions and offering suggestions. Good selection of wine by glass and bottle and a wicked espresso martini. Ordered the Tomahawk steak for 2 that was enough to split with 3 and it was seasoned to perfection. Also got a seafood tower that had shrimp and crab and lobster everything so cold and cooked to perfection. Ended with a cheesecake that's a must have its thick crust buttery and pairs with the nice firm cake. All in all a true pleasure

Let's start with the good. We had an attentive server (Anthony) who provided just the right amount of information for those of us who hadn't dined at a Ruth's Chris in many, many years. The wine list had many familiar names/bottles and we had no difficulty in selecting a Cabernet to enjoy with our meals. RC's big competitor in the Sarasota area is Capital Grille, and despite both being in the Darden Restaurant Group, Capital Grille outshines Ruth's Chris. The creamed spinach was too creamy and quite bland. The super hot plates my Rib Eye was served on quickly turned a Medium steak into a dry Medium Well. I would have liked a more generous amount of cocktail sauce with my shrimp cocktail appetizer. I like having a couple of glasses of Cabernet with my meal, but to do so at Ruth's Chris means paying a multiple that borders on highway robbery without the mask and pistol, although candidly Capital Grille isn't any better. I had planned to ask about corkage fees, but it is so unlikely that we'll return any time soon, that it seemed an unnecessary ask. Downtown Sarasota venues like element and Duval's are quite reasonable in the way they price their wine list, and as a we eat out 3 times a week, that makes a big difference in our dining budget. Perhaps the newly opened venue just needs a bit more time to get things right. I'll wait and see what others say before considering a return.

We have always gone to Flemings for steak. Ruth Chris (Lakewood ranch) is our new go-to. Husband and son had the t-bone and 16oz steak and I had the stuffed chicken. For sides, we had sweet potato casserole, garlic mash potatoes and stuff mushrooms (and the lobster Mac and cheese to go). Everything was a 10, including the service. They also surprised my husband with a piece of flourless chocolate cake !

My expectations were highly exceeded. The food and service are phenomenal, and every single aspect of the evening was incredible. From the moment the hostess opened the door and welcomed my group to the final moment we left, I enjoyed myself. My waiter, Granville, was highly attentive and to took extra measures and precautions to ensure that my food was free from milk or butter as I'm allergic. Normally, I never go to a steak house since most of the food is coated in butter or cheese. My waiter, Granville, took care and didn't make me feel like I was a burden. I try not to emphasize it when going out, but it was nice to have choices and the chef taking time to prepare my meal correctly. The wine was fantastic, and my lobster tail was so flavorful, and the steak seasoned to perfection. Finally, a restaurant that knows how to season its food properly. I enjoyed a lemon drop martini and after a slight tweak of an addition of more simple syrup, it was divine. My friends had the calamari appetizer which was out of this world according to my husband who doesn't normally like squid, devoured his portion. We had so much food we took home our beautifully presented desserts. The accompanying berries to my spouse's cheesecake and my fruit plate were plentiful and picked at its peak time. We can't wait to go again, and this is a wonderful addition to the Lakewood Ranch community. I love this new restaurant! The atmosphere was upscale and classic and thankfully not overly noisy. I felt the restaurant staff was approachable, dedicated and had wonderful attitudes. Also, the restaurant was clean and well decorated. The bathrooms were nice as well and appeared to be serviced continually. We will definitely return and can't wait to try the happy hour.

Saturday night was crowded and noisy in room behind bar. Bad acoustics. Even when we were last 2 tables on opposite sides of room I could hear the conversation of other table. Food was excellent. I had sea bass served on sautéed spinach and my guest had the prix fixe lobster tail filet mignon. Service was excellent and the host, upon being seated, changed my napkin from white to black since I was wearing black slacks. Nice touch. We went back Monday night. Less crowded so noise level was much better. I had the prix fixe lobster and filet. Food was excellent as well as the service except I this time I had to ask for a black napkin.

Great place to sit but very bad carry out ! Cold fries , falling apart burger and steak was over cooked from MR to well done . I live across the street at country club 7.5 minutes away . No way food will get that cold that fast .

The food was prepared as ordered. Steaks were tender and the right temperature. Huge shrimp cocktail were tender with great cocktail sauce. Highly recommend this place for a great steak. Service is top notch. Valet parking available at no charge.

I had the pleasure of dining at this new location recently. To start off, the new location is very convenient to get to. Obviously being so new the property itself is top notch. The layout and decor create a sophisticated ambience. We dined in the bar area which was a little more casual than the actual dining room but still upscale. The service was impeccable - from the valet at arrival to the hostesses to the serving staff and the bussers. No detail was overlooked and we felt well attended. My drink was fantastic. I ordered the Rocks Rita which was perfectly mixed - not overly sweet. For our meal, we started with the shrimp cocktail which was served with a lovely horseradish cocktail sauce. For steaks, I had the 16 oz ribeye cooked medium rare while my husband had the bone-in filet medium rare. Both steaks were flawlessly prepared - tender, juicy, and served sizzling hot. For sides we ordered the Brussels sprouts, loaded baked potato, and sweet potato casserole. The Brussels sprouts had balanced sweet and salty undertones and the sweet potato casserole was absolutely decadent (so much so that I ate it as my dessert). Overall this was definitely a 5 star experience.

The food and service is always on point, but the cost is and always has been a little high in my opinion for what it is.

The best parts of the meal were our server, Randall, our dinner companions and the wine. After that it went downhill for us. I ordered a filet medium rare with 6 shrimp. The filet was closer to medium well and the shrimp were overcooked. My date ordered a t bone medium rare, and it came out very well done (inedible). We sent them back. The manager offered a shrimp cocktail for our trouble - really? We had ordered a side of garlic mashed potatoes which were cold by the time our food came out. No offer to warm them up or replace them. When the food came out, mine was fine, but I only got 3 of the 6 shrimp. My date's steak came out bloody rare so he still couldn't eat it, but we weren't going to send it back again. For a high end, extremely expensive restaurant (everything is ala carte) this was a huge disappointment especially after spending in excess of more than $600 for 4 people.

Always a good experience. Food is always on point. Good happy hour. Comfortable surroundings. We are repeat customers for sure.

Recently visited the new Ruth's Chris location and I was very pleasantly surprised by how well everything was running for a brand new restaurant! We started with the tuna and bbq shrimp apps, for dinner we had the salmon special and the bone in strip with blue cheese crust, as well as the mushrooms, au gratin potatoes, and Mac and cheese. Everything was truly excellent. We visited the capital grille nearby recently for our anniversary and I really have to say Ruth's Chris was far superior in just about every way. It definitely will be our new special occasion spot!

Hmmm, my wife wanted to go here for mother's day. While we were waiting, an employee came in the front door and threw his jackets on the floor. Not sure what is going on in the back of the house, but I really didn't want disgruntled workers handling my food. We went to Selva instead. Excellent South American cuisine.

The Best fine dining in the area. The ambiance is wonderful. The food is excellent! Elizabeth and the gentlemen who was our waiter was perfect. I apologize for not remembering his name. All of us had the Ruth special, as I refer to it as. Lobster, filet, creamed spinach, dessert, and several Margaritas. Everything was absolutely phonomenal. The manager from Michigan, even stopped by to check on things. All of us really enjoyed everything. We highly recommend. I would not recommend small children. I cannot leave a better review! It was the best steak, crab cake, drinks, sides and most important... the SERVICE!! The bartenders, Kevin and Tobias, ensure a flawless experience. The manger, Sequoia, is personable and professional. We cannot wait to come back. If you have not been please come in!! You will not be disappointed. Thank you Ruths's...we cannot wait to return

Too busy. Food is meh. Prices are very expensive for the amount and quality. Bar area ambience is stale. In the end, it's just a chain steak place with a happy hour burger. No thanks.

I've visited this establishment twice in the last two weeks. Was there going to eat at the bar and sat down. There were five other people at the bar. One bartender was very young and the other male bartender was in his 40's. Waited quite a bit to get noticed as the two guys were engrossed in each other's stories. The young lady bartending service had to wait on me. After my first beverage I placed my empty glass on the rail, the young bartender never noticed so once again the young lady doing service or otherwise known as making drinks for the entire restaurant got me another drink! After that I decided to go to Owen's Fish Camp next door and have dinner there. Went back there this past Saturday for dinner (3pp). There was another large party in the private room and it was obvious that our server was working both. She was polite and well informed. Beverage service was slow and the food took quite a while. We ordered apps, salad and entrees. One steak was way way underdone and the other was over- we surmised that the kitchen got the steaks mixed up because one was plain and the other was "Oscar". We didn't bother sending back. The one pound baked potatoes were not even close to being done-can you believe that? Once again sending back would have delayed things even more. We had drinks, apps, one salad, entrees: o dessert and no coffee. Time elapsed was 2 & 1/2 hours. Not that we wanted to be rushed but this was way too long. So it's obvious that they are resting on their laurels of other locations but the LWR staff needs to get it together. We dropped $500 and it wasn't even close to be worth it. Very disappointed

My husband took me there for our anniversary. We had a nice, quiet table, great waitress, Dana, great drinks and wonderful steaks. We even got a happy anniversary card signed by all and a free dessert. Valet parking was friendly. Will go back when I get another steak craving and want good service.

Visited Ruth Chris in LWR for the second time and probably the last on Saturday night. It was pouring down rain and no valet service-were told it was too dangerous for the attendants. What about the customers who come into the restaurant soaked to the skin as I was? Service was slow and awful. There was a party going on in the area right next to us and could tell our waitress was trying to manage us and the party at the same time-unsuccessfully. Were left for long periods of time between courses staring at each other. With the cost of going out to eat in LWR exceeding $ 100 now a days I can find much better service for my money.

The Happy Hour service on Lakewood Ranch's new covered patio was outstanding. We felt very welcome with our server Jennie the bartender. Our drinks were cold and served quickly. Our burger, chicken sandwich, and steak sandwich were absolutely delicious. Jennie checked back with us often to make sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be back on a regular basis with neighbors, guests, and family.

We were lucky enough to have an amazing dinner at Ruth's Chis Steakhouse and it was the best experience. Craig did a phenomenal job and so kind! It was our first visit and he did a great job explaining the menu. The Calamari was better than Cape Cod calamari and the steaks were cooked to perfection.
