Restaurant Owners Sign Open Letter Endorsing Biden and Condemning Trump | Eater

"Franchise locations of this upscale steakhouse chain were among major restaurant outlets that accepted large PPP loans in the program’s first round and later faced public pressure to return funds; this sequence underscored concerns that early loan distributions favored larger chains and franchises, leaving independent restaurants with diminished access to relief and exposing inequities in how pandemic support reached the industry." - Elazar Sontag

Our recent visit to Ruth's Chris Steak House was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment the food arrived at our table, it was clear we were in for a treat – everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic. The highlight, without a doubt, was the steak. Cooked to absolute perfection, it was truly one of the top three steaks I've ever had. The quality of the meat and the skill in its preparation truly shone through. Beyond the incredible food, the service was impeccable. Every member of the staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our meal was enjoyable. We all left feeling completely satisfied and incredibly impressed. If you're looking for an unforgettable steakhouse experience with top-tier food and outstanding service, Ruth's Chris is an absolute must-visit.

The food at Ruth’s Chris was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, and the sides were rich and satisfying. Every bite was worth savoring, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. Unfortunately, the service didn’t live up to the food. The staff seemed inattentive and slow, and we had to wait a long time just to place our order. It felt like we were more of an afterthought than guests. For a restaurant with such a strong reputation, I expected a much higher level of hospitality. Overall, the amazing food makes it worth trying at least once, but be prepared for a potentially disappointing service experience.

The food and service were great! Our waitress was friendly and gave amazing recommendations. My personal favorites were the calamari, lobster mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, and creme brulee. My husband enjoyed all of the above but hus steak was a high contender as well.

It's exactly what you would expect for the price. I am not a fan of valet parking, so that's my only complaint. Way too many spots for valet, practically forces you to park valet on a decently busy evening. Our waiter Carlos was awesome. The steaks were all on point. Everything was perfection. We all had filets medium rare and the butter simply does the trick! I personally prefer more crust, but luckily the amount of butter they use makes up for it. Overall we had an A+ experience. Oh....the "gamblers old fashioned" needs some work. It's subpar in all honesty, and a cherry would be nice. We might be back at some point. 👍

We were invited to a work dinner. Place was amazing, food was coming out on time as the talk progressed. Servers were friendly, place was comfortable, clean and suited for our presentation. The seared tuna appetizer was amazing, warm bread was delicious as well. Caesars salad was on spot, steak was well season and on my favorite term, medium. Sides were the mashed potatoes and the spinach, all amazing! The 4 star I give to them because when I asked to take the rest of my food to go they manage to put it all, all!!!! , steak, potatoes and creamy spinach on one little box. I felt like this food was ment for the pig that I do not have at home. Why would you mix everything together. You didn’t know what was potato or spinach, it was awful to look at. At this amazing restaurant, where you serve beautifully and amazing food why would you killed it at the to go box? Make it as pretty as how it was when it was first serve to you. I hope that they get better at the to go…. Otherwise, this place was AMAZING!!!

It's A Mystery

After making reservations the week prior, we headed up to Tampa to try Ruth's Chris Steak House. We actually arrived early and were seated while others were turned away without weekend reservations. (Note to self) We were greeted fairly quickly by the waitress, and drink orders were taken. Selected the Filet and Seabass and both were excellent. Great food and service! Knowing that it was one of our birthdays, the waitress had the kitchen make us a delightful desert, free of charge.

Google
Went tonight for a seminar and the food and service did not disappoint. The Caesar salad was very good, the steak was amazing and the mashed potatoes and spinach dip were delicious. Overall it was a great experience. There's plenty of time to hold a work meeting, a party or private gathering. The service was outstanding as expected in such a restaurant as Ruth Chris. I'm definitely going back and getting that sirloin again. Medium rare please . You won't be disappointed.

Food was delicious. Steak was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The lobster mac and cheese and the cheescake were my favorite. Our server Diego was attentive and very professional.

Yelp
My visit to Ruth's Chris Steak House was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I could tell the place was clean, well-kept, and really cared for. The floors were spotless, the tables were set just right, and the lighting gave it a fancy but comfortable feel. It didn't feel stuffy or too quiet either. Even though it's a fine dining place, it had a nice energy to it. Everything around me looked five star, from the silverware to the way they folded the napkins. This is one of those spots where you can sit down and feel like you're being taken care of right away. I ordered two burgers, french fries, the mac and cheese, the bread they bring out before your meal, and cheesecake for dessert. Every single thing I tried was really good. The burgers were juicy and cooked just the way I asked. They didn't taste like frozen patties either. They tasted like they were made fresh and with care. The french fries were crispy on the outside but still soft inside, just how I like them. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, not too salty, and the cheese sauce had the perfect thickness to it. Even the bread was soft and warm with a buttery crust. When it came time for dessert, the cheesecake was just right. It had a thick texture and a smooth flavor that wasn't too sweet or too heavy. The crust was buttery and firm, not dry or crumbly. It was a great way to end the meal. We were seated near the bar, which gave us a nice view of the room and the staff working. Even though it was a busy night, the service was excellent. We didn't wait long for anything, and the staff checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. The servers were polite and quick but didn't rush us at all. This is a place I'd come back to for sure. Whether it's for a special occasion or just a nice night out, Ruth's Chris makes you feel welcome and well-fed. You don't feel like you're just another customer. You feel like they want you there. Everything was clean, the service was smooth, and the food hit every time. I had no complaints and left full and happy. It's a real five star experience from start to finish.

Yelp
I have been to Ruth's Chris twice. The first time was 13+ years ago, for lunch. I had a Caesar salad with chicken and I remember thinking that it was the best Caesar salad I'd ever had. Just recently came back to meet someone for drinks. I had (2) dirty martini and the petite fillet. Both were excellent. The steak was one the best steaks I've ever had. Dimitri at the bar is very attentive and makes an excellent martini. The bar area is very warm and comfortable. It definitely won't take me another 13+ years to get back in here. I've been dreaming about that steak!

Yelp
Ruth Chris Tampa you were such a disappointment. I've had good experiences out of town but the Tampa location was just not good. The service was terrible. We were offered dessert before we ordered our dinner. The steak was good but the rest of the sides were cold. Our table was a mess because none of the plates or cocktail glasses were cleared. We even had to request steak knives to cut our food. There are so many great steakhouse options in Tampa please do not waste your money here.

Yelp
3 courses for $55, need I say more! The experience and food overall was worth this price. When you walk in it's a dimly lighted and elegant, the dining room was spacious and well maintained. As an appetizer I started with the Caesar salad- this was one of the next Caesar salads I have had in awhile, particularly because of the in house dressing they toss the salad in (10/10). For an entree I got the 6 oz petit filet with shrimp cooked medium- unfortunately my steak did come out overcooked and my friend's came out undercooked. We believe our plates may have gotten mixed up and I ended up taking her steak, not the most appropriate or ideal situation but I didn't minds the shrimp was delicious and the steak was seasoned well (8/10). Our server was very attentive about the matter and we appreciated him switch out my friends steak. For dessert it was a cheesecake with fresh berries, it was ok I felt the crust of the cheesecake could have been better and kept at a colder temperature, the fresh berries and raspberry sauce was delicious (6/10). For drinks: I had the lemon drop martini (8/10) and a French 75 (9/10). Overall solid experience and worth trying the 3 course special.

Yelp
Outstanding services. We always eat at the bar. Just the 2 of us. Patrick behind the bar was spot on. All the food was perfectly prepared and arrived at the appropriate time. Can hardly wait to return next month.

Yelp
I've dined here several times and the experience is consistently exceptional. The service is attentive, the food is always top tier, and the atmosphere is clean and inviting. You truly get what you pay for and I highly recommend it.

Yelp
DAD AND ELDEST KID BIRTHDAY FANCY NIGHT OUT ADVENTURE!!! Just to headline this. While we were at this dinner we discussed it. We have now started putting aside 20$ a month each and picking an upscale place to try once we have enough funding to support the place we have chosen to go. We do our research, menu research that is, lol. Look for those additional reviews every 3-6 months!!! For this Birthday Adventure it was my Eldest Kids treat!!! They took me out and paid the bill for my BIRTHDAY!!! So proud they could do this for me!!! Because it was my BIRTHDAY we chose a place I have been wanting to go for a very long time. We chose Ruth's Chris Steak House!!! We knew what we were getting and how much it would cost with an upscale tip of course!!! This is what actually sparked our FUFA = Fund Upscale Food Adventures idea mentioned at the start of this review!!! The Service:, There were 3 waiters that served us a drink waiter, a head waiter and an assistant waiter. The drink waiter was very nice and professional she was a delight and answered all our questions and kept our drinks filled. They even leave the bottle of water at the table on ice, but return and remove the water to refill your glasses if you do not or before you were going to. She was on point!!! The Head waiter only stopped at our table twice and was very short. He was honestly concerned with an 8 top rather than our 2 top. The assistant waiter is who shined for us. He was very attentive, very professional. Brought birthday confetti for our table and spread it around the table for decoration. Nice touch!!! I guess that's what he's there for l. To pick up any slack. Well he did expertly!!! All in all the service was impeccable!!! The decor was what you would hope for at an upscale establishment. It was eye appealing!!! Other than a little loudness from the bar patrons. It was an enjoyable experience. We were in a side room, but the doors were facing the bar so the sound carried in. It made it a little challenging to have a nice conversation while we ate. The wall paper was so nice and had a flow that made us happy!!! For the meal!!! We started with some Pellegrino water and they also brought us a very nice bread and butter. The bread was very yummy and soft. We started with 2 apps. The Lobster Bisque and the Fried Calamari. Both apps were very very good!!! We would definitely order them again. We ordered the Porterhouse for 2 as our main dish. We requested medium temp and when it came out it was a nice big cut of meat. They even cut it into pieces at the table for you on a cutting board. Then they place 500 degree plates in front of you so you can keep your steak warm as you eat. The waiter starts by asking you what side you would like and cuts a slice off to show you how to move the steak to warm it/cook it more. Then you take over. They will even bring you a second plate if you request one as I did. The 4 star, instead of 5 is because the steak was definitely Medium Rare. I cooked steak many times in my 15 years working in a kitchen. I know steak temps. This was way too on the rare side for a requested medium. Hence the reason for the second hot plate and the 4 !!! The filet side was cooked a bit better than the strip side. We were able to cook both sides up a bit more before eating it with the hot plate. My daughter only had some of the filet side and I ate most of the strip. I also finished what she couldn't cook enough for her to eat from the filet side. Great for me, but wish she could've had more. The steak was still very flavorful and we enjoyed it so much!!! The closer!!! For our closer we chose the Crème Brûlée!!! It was such a wonderful end to our meal. Next time we get two!!! AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

Yelp
Ruth Chris is one of my top three steakhouses IMO. It's been a minute since I've gone but let me tell you it did not disappoint! We started with their sizzling crab cakes. Absolute perfection. For my entree, i got the filet which was outstanding. Cooked exactly how I wanted it... medium. The sides: 1. Creamed spinach is my absolute favorite. Love it! 2. Sweet potato casserole is pure deliciousness. 3. Lobster Mac & Cheese is a must. Cheesy goodness. Overall RC has never lost its touch over the years. Always a good choice. A++

Yelp
The service was stellar, James was attentive but not intrusive... he worked really hard to give us a memorable exclusive! We ordered a lot of food, but took no photos, unfortunately... but here goes! We ordered crab cakes and a shrimp cocktail for appetizers... crab cakes were very, very good! Big lumps of crab, very flavorful with not very much bread crumb filling- nice crunch on the outside. The shrimp cocktail was pretty typical of expectation, large shrimp on ice with cocktail sauce... not especially noteworthy The stuffed chicken breast was spectacular, the seasoning was the best I've tasted... not your average stuffed chicken breast! A must try for chicken lovers The steaks were cooked perfectly to order, filet mignon came medium rare and very tender, the strip was cooked to perfection at medium and had a beautiful char... they didn't have a standout seasoning profile.. you tasted steak! The baked potatoes are enormous and served with a display of toppings if requested... enough for a meal in itself! Some at our table ordered the Ruth's Classic prix fixe menu which came with sides and seafood... The lobster tail was a nice size, but came a little over cooked. It was served with real drawn butter. Our shrimp was cooked a little too much as well and wasn't seasoned in a stand out way... there were 3 shrimp atop the filets. We ordered French onion soup which was tasty, came with a generous amount of cheese broiled on top and was enjoyed. The Caesar salads were very large (definitely enough to share) and were as expected, there was a generous amount of shaved parmesan cheese on top which was notable and delicious! We also ordered garlic mashed potatoes which were good, but not wow- fantastic. The lobster mac and cheese was a dish to share with the table. It had nice cavatappi pasta, that was cooked al dente. The cheese sauce was flavorful but very runny and sat on the bottom, it had to be restirred each time a serving was wanted. It was not baked mac and cheese. The lobster was placed on top of the pasta and cheese, there were some bread crumbs... it was ok, but for the prices here, it should be fantastic, so I don't recommend it... The desserts we ordered were Creme Brulee, which was the best a table-mate says they've had, a very rich chocolate flourless cake served with vanilla bean ice cream that was decadent and cheesecake with fresh berries that was creamy and light... fresh whipped cream was served upon request and generously provided... This is definitely a high price restaurant and everything should be perfect, so that's why I didn't give 5 stars... I think it's a 3.5 star restaurant for the food and 4.5 for the service

Yelp
Food excellent, service impeccable and knowledgeable, and the ambiance perfect. Great for a date or any special occasion.

Yelp
I went here for a work dinner, and I feel like it was the perfect place for the occasion. We were able to make a reservation easily for 4 people. The ambiance was nice and upscale, but also quiet enough to have conversations without having to strain your voice. I really liked how they had a bundle option where you could get several courses all together. I feel like that is sometimes not a given at steakhouses. I got some white wine and the filet with shrimp on top. It was delicious. I've heard they have a good happy hour as well, but we were not able to check it out. Maybe next time! Our waitress was kind and accurate. I know this is a chain so it doesn't always get the most respect, but I would definitely check it out. Next up, I want to go to the one in St. Pete.

Sarah K.

Yelp
We started with drinks which were delicious. I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly and medium rare as requested. The sides were pretty average. The brussel sprouts were the table favorite. The garlic mashed were tasty and rich as they should be. The au gratin potatoes were just okay. I likely wouldn't order them again but wanted to give them a try. The garlic mashed are better in my opinion. The Mac and cheese was rich and tasty. It typically comes with lobster which I'm sure would have been tasty, however we had a shellfish allergy at the table which the restaurant was more than willing to accommodate. The others at the table ordered filet and Chilean sea bass which was very very tasty. The server was friendly and attentive. My only recommendation would be not to dim the lights as much as they had. Maybe it was an off night but we're all women in our early/mid 30's and had to pull out our cell phones to utilize the flashlight feature to read the menu. It gave us a good chuckle. This was a great experience to end our girls trip in Tampa.

Yelp
Not my favorite steak house. We arrived a wee bit early, dressed nicely (our server even commented on it). We were escorted to a brightly lit room off the bar, presumably where the misfits are supposed to be segregated from the hoi polloi. For example, a couple in jeans with a screaming infant and a family of five in shorts after a soccer game were in our room. I did see other parts of the restaurant had a totally different vibe, but I wasn't given that experience so here we are. For a starter we had the Barbeque shrimp and it was very good. For entree we shared the ribeye, mushrooms and creamed spinach. The ribeye was good, nothing to write home about. The mushrooms were very good and the spinach was not pleasant at all. I had heard the cheesecake was very tasty, but I hated it. It was all crust, and the filling was bland. So overall, the food rates a 'fine'. Ambiance was bad. I'm sure if we had been seated in the grown ups area it would have been a much better experience.

Lisa G.

Yelp
Our server while dining was Jan who took care of all the details and timed our courses perfectly . Excellent experience. Ruth's Chris never disappoints !

Yelp
Three stars because of the comparison to this one versus the new one in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. I typically I'm not a big fan of Ruth's Chris steakhouse because I think they're overcharged their steaks too much and they're 5,000,000° oven this time the steak was cooked well but it was tough for a ribeye. It was unusually tough the baked potato was half cooked, so it was not tender at all. Service was OK, but they were not on their game at all. I doubt that I would return to this Ruth Chris steakhouse but I absolutely look forward to a return visit to the Lakewood Ranch Ruth's Chris steakhouse

Yelp
This was a special occasion for my son's birthday. They had birthday confetti on the table when we were seated, nice touch. We had drinks at the bar before dinner. Pricey. Overall the food was well prepared but we did wait a very long time for salads to come out. Waiter said system went down ? Waiter also kind of abandoned us and my daughter waited a long time for her drink order at the table. Four people plus bar tab, $800 with tip. I don't think it was worth it.

Yelp
Ruth Chris provided great glad and great service. The live piano music set a lovely intimate tone. During a celebration, my husband fell ill and had to leave early. Nicholas (our waiter) quickly packed us up and even brought out a cup of ginger ale to help. The calamari was the best I have ever tasted. Perfectly fried and flavored, I would go back just to order more! I also had the panko crusted sea bass, it was soft, flaky and delicious. My mother in law raved over the blackberry margarita and my husband said the steak was one of the best he ever had when he ate it the next day! I also had the panko

Yelp
I never thought I would be rushed at a high dollar steakhouse. It seems to be a place to relax and dine not be hustled along. I'll go elsewhere from now on on. Food was good.

Yelp
Came here before the Bucs playoff game on Monday night. Pretty busy. Servers were attentive and good. The food overall was great and quite delicious. We order the porterhouse with a side of Cesar salad and au gratin potatoes. Steak was perfect; bread was awesome; salad well done, au gratin potatoes however were undercooked and they did grab a replacement dish. Overall good experience!

Teresa C.

Yelp
We are visiting from Chicago and have never been to one of these restaurants but decided to check off our bucket list. Boy, this was simply amazing. I had the filet medium rare and husband had the ahi. Just perfectly prepared and outstanding. I never knew beef could be so decadent. And we've been to many Chicago steak houses. Diego was a most gracious server and made very good recommendations. Crème brûlée and cheese cakes were over the top. We will be back!

Yelp
Ruth Chris Tampa used to be of high quality but in 2024-2025 it has greatly lowered its standards of service. Long waits for food, rude poorly trained servers, freezing breezes from the AC, a very very poor overall experience. The ambiance is dated, think the 90's, that is when I started going there, but now never going back.
google avatar

Kristina S.

Yelp
My Daughter brought me here for my birthday dinner and I truly have to say it was one of the best meals I've had recently. We had reservations and once we arrived we were seated with no wait. The restaurant was packed and the ambiance was inviting. I like that every party was spaced out throughout the restaurant to avoid crowding and keeping the noise level to a minimum. We started with drinks, I had a Prosecco and my daughter had the pomegranate martini both were delicious. For dinner I had the New York strip and my daughter had Ruth classic which was shrimp and steak. My son in law had the cowboy steak and we shared garlic mash, Brussel sprouts and lobster mac & cheese. Every single thing was delicious. The Brussel sprouts were probably the only thing I didn't care for, would've preferred if they were crispier. Our waiter was great and very attentive. All his recommendations were delicious.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Made a reservation but ended up seated at a table in the bar area. Lesson learned, request a reservation in the dining area. Service was outstanding but the food itself didn't live up to the reputation. The bill with tip for two was $284.
google avatar

Joe R.

Yelp
It's been 2 years since I came back to this Ruth Chris Steakhouse on Westshore blvd., and the food was spot on! Service was A+ and the ambiance was perfect!
google avatar

Kevan D.

Yelp
Great Happy Hour food & drink prices. Select food dishes, drinks, beers and wines have unbeatable prices for great quality. The crab cake appetizer was fully of crab and had little or no filler. I Will definitely order this again. The calamari appetizer was balanced perfectly with its sauce, not at all greasy. We ordered the porterhouse and filet steaks. Both were cooked to perfection! The sweet potato casserole was superior. The only drawback is the lighting on the liquor shelves looks like someone's dimly lit basement bar instead of an upscale restaurant's bar which negatively impacts the ambiance.

Julie B.

Yelp
Best food experience ever!!! James, our server, was top notch. So, if you go, ask for him. Second, the food was off the chain. If you love steak, you will definitely love this place. This was our first time there and it did not disappoint. We were also celebrating our 15-year anniversary. James made this a memory moment forever. We will definitely be back just not in Tampa. We were here on family business and never get to Tampa. We look forward to seeing other Ruth Chris steakhouses in our future. Happy eating!!

Yelp
First time visitor to this restaurant chain. We dined in the bar, but ordered from the dinner menu. Service was A+++. Give Demetri a raise and extra day off a week! He took excellent care of my party. Let's start at the end. The creme brûlée was some of the best I've ever had. The vanilla flavor, the texture, cooked to perfection. Simply delicious! I ordered the shrimp and steak prix fix. My well done steak was the juiciest well done steak I've ever had. Not dry. Tender as all get out. Flavorful. I paired my entree with sautéed spinach (a little too much butter for me and could have used more seasoning) and a ceasar salad (next time I'll get dressing on the side). The rest of my party had steak and lobster with mashed potatoes (creamy and buttery) and bread pudding. We arrived around 5pm on Thursday. The dinner crowd was rolling in. Noise level was a little loud. At some point a pianist started playing tunes which added to the noise level, but in a good way. I'd def return. No complaints from my party. Not one.

Yelp
This Ruths Chris is one of my favorites. Throughout the years I've gone numerous times and have never complained about a meal.

Leah J.

Yelp
This was my first experience at a nice steakhouse back in February 2023. They had great steak and great sides. Can't wait to go back again! I got the petite filet, definitely my go-to at this point!

Yelp
3.6 out of 5 stars??! No chance LOL. Please try the Filet Mignon (medium), with Caesar salad, mashed potatoes, and sweet potato casserole and get back to me. I truly don't have the words at the moment because I believe this location is a 10/10. WAYYYY better than Berns in my personal opinion but I don't know maybe people have a different set of taste buds than me. I've been to each over 5 times and Ruth Chris blows other Steakhouses out of the water... Don't worry Ruth Chris's Tampa Bay, you'll always have a special place in my heart.
google avatar

Logan S.

Yelp
This is one of our main finer dining restaurants. The food is always delicious. The ambiance is casual yet not too casual. The service is on point. I'd recommend the dining area over the high top bar area for a more intimate setting.
google avatar

Brianna J.

Yelp
Made reservations and happened to be celebrating my husbands birthday last minute. Service was what I'd expected from a 3.6 rating on yelp. Food was cooked as we had asked for. Only reason for no 5 stars was we were told we were getting a dessert complimentary for our celebration only to pay for it after a $550 bill
google avatar

Yelp
This had become one of my mom's favorite restaurants. And I have to say I was pleasantly surprised for a chain. The veal osso bucco ravioli is a very nice and different appetizer. The calamari was very tender and flavorful. Service for us was very good! The ambience gives you the feel of the old style steakhouse with the dark colors and carpet and woods. The twin filet mignon topped with shrimp was very good! The spicy crab top fillet was very tasty, but I need more crab lol. Of course, it was a special on a holiday. All in all I would not have gone here on my own, but I must say, I was very pleased when we left. Very satisfied with the meal and the service, the staff hustles and really seems to care. We even made it back a second time, and I'm happy to say it was still consistently good.

Yelp
The quality of food here is not the same as it used to be... or maybe My memory of it was better and it was never updated through the years. The menu has been the same for as long as I can remember but the sides are just not good. The mashed potatoes were bland and watered down, the creamed spinach was also watered down and lacked flavor, and the potatoes au gratin tasted like nothing but nutmeg. The steaks were good, but do not stand out above other local steakhouses. The shrimp were ridiculously over cooked - chewy and flavorless. The Caesar salad was just OK but the steakhouse salad was good. The calamari in the appetizer was too chewy, although the sauce on it was delicious. But- they put jarred red peppers on top! Not even fresh. That was offensive for an upscale restaurant. At least the women's bathroom toilet seat was fixed since last visit. But- the bathroom reeked of marijuana. This restaurant needs seriously updating. And is not worth the price you pay for the food. BUT- I will say the staff are the shining star. Everyone was super friendly and attentive and our server Carl was very funny and entertaining.

Yelp
Food was very good. Steak knives were literally "dull." Not a single person of color on the wait staff for Mother's Day. Wait staff themselves were fine. We literally got seated in the furthest corner of the restaurant. They have a disturbing light flash of some sort; wait staff said it was from cars passing by. They could use some more seating for those waiting. My third time going in 17 years and the place seems to look the same as it did in 2009. Probably won't return. There are other places for the price.

Yelp
Holy bananas that was quite possibly the worst meal I've ever had. First, I ordered a $30 9 Oz. Glass of wine that was corked. I asked for bread and never got it. My steak was not medium it was overcooked. The side creamed spinach was floating in milk? My wine took 20 minutes to receive and I already had my entree. The cheesecake was not cheesecake omg what the hell did I eat for $250!!! I've been to most exclusive restaurants in the world in Qatar, Tokyo, Anguilla, Croatia and I swear to God I left to have better wine and food at Oliver Garden next door that's how sad that was. Save your $ go to Eddie Vs or Flemings. What a joke.

Yelp
Regardless of where you decided to go, you want to be able to enjoy yourself, enjoy your food, enjoy your surrounding! Ruth's Chris not only provided that but exceed our expectations! World class service and food. We can for our anniversary and we have no regrets!

Yelp
Even on a Wednesday night, this location was extremely crowded. The service was great, and for the most part the food did not disappoint. However, I do not recommend the lobster bisque. All who got this dish at my table agreed that it had an off aftertaste and nearly no lobster at all. Other than this, the steak, sides, and creme brûlée were delicious.

Yelp
I've been a regular to this chain of steakhouses for years now and I feel bad to do it, but this meal was not up to par, even though the place was packed. First thing I noticed was the bread was stale. It was hot, but also stale. When the salads came out, they were good but there were some noticeable brown leaves. Think, old salad. Finally, 2 of the 3 filets were hard, even though they were cooked med rare - a bad cut of meat I'm guessing. Mackenzie, our waitress was an all star though. She repeatedly made sure our glasses were filled and warm bread refills came out without anyone asking. They ended up replacing the steaks with some that were flawless and provided some desserts as a peace offering. Unfortunately though, the coffee was cold. Tough day for the gang here, hope they tighten up to Mackenzie's level for next time.

Yelp
Don't understand why this location is low rated. I've been here twice now and their service, along with the food is amazing. You have to try the lobster macaroni side dish. I also got the porterhouse steak for 2 (40 oz) Well marbled and juicy with a filet mignon side and Tbone side. Excellent! Will continue to come back, oh and I love the valet option. Oh and for those who complain about the price, dine in your price range ‍

Yelp
I had to try the potatoes au gratin! What a waste of 17 bucks!! I'm going to ask for my money back tomorrow! I wouldn't want them if I was rich! And how dumb are you to spend 14 bucks on this crap?? I ordered extra cheese.. 2 bucks extra.. unbelievable!! I added cheese and cream when I nuked them.. you have to be a moron to eat here!

Yelp
We spent a lot of money at this place for the worst meal I have had in a while. This place is expensive, I think the prices are higher than other steak houses in the area for the same type of entrees. The other restaurants are winning. The service was acceptable, but not great. The ambiance was just ok as well. They sat us in a room with one table being so loud I thought I was in a sports bar. I should have checked the reviews before I made reservations. I won't spend hard-earned money in this place again. So disappointing.

Yelp
We came by with dear friends for a meal. We are treating as they invited us to their condo for a few days so we thought we would take them out. Complimentary valet parking. Ambiance is American steakhouse and very upscale. Luigi our server came by promptly and took care of us. A few minor infractions. I asked for a Belvedere martini extra dry with Gorgonzola stuffed olives on the side. He brought the drink with olives. I drank it as delivered. Also at the end he forgot my wife's ice cream. Steaks here are typically outstanding and that is what we all got. Everyone loved their food. We also got a bottle of Hess cab with the meat which Luigi decanted for us. One observation - the shoestring fries which are traditionally served at all Ruth's were not served. They did make some skinny fries but they were not as historically remembered. This is the second time that I asked for these fries in the past 6 months at a Ruth's. I miss them. Hard to beat for a great meal and good service. It was not cheap but you get what you pay for. Yelp
We went during happy hour which is only at the bar and the high top tables. Our server, James, was very nice and attentive and checked on us regularly. I thought the food and drinks were great but giving it a four starts because two men came in and started playing loud videos on their phone and it took the manager 15ish minutes to talk to them.

Yelp
Don't order the crab cakes. We are Maryland natives and we had hmmmmm some expectations. It was my husbands birthday so he got a steak which was amazingly delicious!! I managed to choke down one of the crab cakes. Never again will I order crab cakes in a prime steak house. Service staff was great!! My husband's dinner was between a four and a five. Mine was about two. Very disappointed for such a poor dinner.

Yelp
For happy hour it is definitely a good experience. We were here at 5 pm and the place still empty. By 6 pm, it is pack with people. The happy hour is at the bar area. I got the steak sandwich. This sandwich is worth the value. It is slice filet with fries. The steak was well cook to the temperature that was order. The quality of the steak is high. We also got the spicy shrimp. This dish is big shrimp fried in butterfly style. It is delicious. We have the seared ahi tuna last. The outward was seared. The tuna is dark red color. The number of pieces also enough. Overall experience is good. Service is good in good restaurants. Food come out quick without much waiting. We enjoy our time here.

Yelp
Subpar for a nice steak house. Out of the merlot we ordered which is fine but then the waiter could not recommend a wine.. when asked about the vegetarian meal, I was told they do not have one (odd since the website states to ask for one) and was told they could make a broccoli dish more me. Potato au gratin with huge chunks, was awkward, steak not cooked to requested, waiter was frazzled, even at dessert my husband ordered a cappuccino and a pot of regular coffee was brought out. We expected so much more. The appetizers were the only good part of the meal Artichoke dip and shrimp cocktail.
