Boston Restaurant Openings for Spring 2021 | Eater Boston

"A Revere Beach restaurant planned for the Ryder apartment complex that will focus on locally sourced, high-quality dry-aged beef cuts, fresh-caught seafood, and local produce; the space will accommodate roughly 120 diners indoors plus about 100 on a patio, and is led by a chef with experience at several noted Boston kitchens." - Terrence Doyle

Really starting to hate this place. There’s new management and they don’t seem to care about the overall maintance of the building. Paying way too much for what? The gym sucks, the security sucks, management is not helpful. I’ve seen mice and roaches. The hot water runs out all the time. If you place a maintance request….good luck. Save yourself and look somewhere else. Not worth it over here!

The entire leasing process at Ryder Revere, managed by Styl Residential, has been one of the most unprofessional, disorganized experiences I’ve ever had with a property management company. From the beginning, phone calls went unanswered and emails were ignored for days at a time. The only way to get basic information was to physically go to the property. I even scheduled a tour for a Monday at 9:30 AM, arrived on time, and was told by a maintenance worker that the leasing office is closed on Mondays. From the start, communication was inconsistent and unreliable. Information provided in person by Alex (Property Manager) and Martin (Leasing Manager) was later contradicted by corporate representatives, creating constant confusion. It took over a week to correct basic errors in the lease, something that should take minutes. Pet documentation was mishandled, concession details were incorrect, and move-in logistics were repeatedly changed or left unconfirmed unless I followed up multiple times. My original move-in date was scheduled for 12/15, but management failed to provide access to the building, unit, garage, or required keyless entry systems. Because of this failure, the move-in date was pushed to 12/20. Even then, access emails were delayed and required repeated outreach on my end. When I finally arrived on 12/20, the unit was not delivered in a habitable, move-in-ready condition. I observed live and dead insects throughout the apartment, including near the window and vent areas. Garage access had still not been properly provided, and the assigned parking space was already occupied by another vehicle. Due to these conditions, I did not move in or occupy the unit. Only a few items were briefly placed near the entrance before the issues were discovered. I immediately notified management in writing and requested inspection and preventative pest treatment prior to occupancy. Despite multiple follow-up emails documenting the situation, there was no timely response, no confirmation of service, and no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the issue. The entire management and leasing team was included on all correspondence and still failed to respond or clarify matters they had previously discussed in person. Ultimately, because the unit was never delivered in a habitable condition and management remained unresponsive, I removed all items, returned the mailbox key, and formally surrendered the unit. Even at that point, communication remained lacking. This experience showed a complete lack of organization, accountability, and basic professionalism. If the leasing and move-in process is handled this poorly, I can only imagine how actual residency issues are treated. I strongly recommend anyone considering this building proceed with extreme caution. There are many nearby properties that manage to communicate clearly, honor move-in obligations, and treat prospective residents professionally. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Just moved here from California and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The building is very nice and clean as well as the location in the city is safe and beautiful. Martin Aguilar Was super helpful with the whole moving in process and got me an apartment quickly. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who wants a nice new apartment in the Boston area.

Honestly was a good experience living here. As far as new buildings go, the sound insulation is quite good between units and road noise. Most people living there were pretty nice. Liked the management as well. The only issue we had was the utility bills were super high, $250+ per month electric with no A/C or heat usage, water was at least $100 for 2 people per month. Electric usage is 2-3x what we had before and after in a bigger place plus the kWh cost is higher. Glad we never used the heat (on the 6th floor) but that would’ve made the bills even higher. We even had the utility company come out and see if there was an issue, but it was correct. Windows not being able to open much was a bummer (and no, you can’t fix that like another reviewer mentioned). Didn’t have a problem with our deposit return like other mentioned. It was mailed on the 30th day (that’s what Mass law states has to happen) and got to us in a few days. Just make sure you give them your new address. We met with the leasing office before we left and that I think helped a lot. All and all if you can afford the expense, it’s a nice place to live and much quieter than other revere beach spots. 100% best views you’ll probably ever have.

With STYL recently taking over management of the Ryder properties, we’ve received exceptional service from both the leasing office and maintenance team. They are approachable and helpful, and provide timely resolutions to any issues. Highly recommend!

This apartment building is a mess. It is physically filthy and has management that fails to EVER RESPOND. The hallway carpets have never been vacuumed or shampooed in the past two years. There is animal feces covering every floor. In the summer, you can enjoy hallways that are 85 degrees and reak of dog poop and pee. The stairwells are even worse with rusty doors, pee stained carpet, and odors that would genuinely make anyone want to vomit. There has been an unknown red substance splatter on the stair door to the garage for months. The garage is infested with RATS because they allow anyone to dump trash in it. Seriously, there are times you cannot drive through the garage because of how much trash is piled up. The TV on the pool deck has been frozen on the same channel all summer, so you can't even enjoy swimming in their dirty bathtub sized pool. This management is terrible. here are some photos since they like to delete reviews :)

I must admit we were already on the fence of renewing the lease for year after the issues we had moving in and then some, but since the new management came in my husband and I have seen such an improvement in the property and overall experience we feel so much better about our decision to live here. The new manager Alex (who’s actually here all the time!) has been so kind and helpful even though we’ve bugged him over and over with questions. He drops everything to speak with us and has been a much needed breath of fresh air and acts human, not just a robot that delays answering our questions. I don’t want to bash the other company but we feel comfortable enough to come down to the office now and that alone eases our anxiety and makes us happy. And Maintenance is SO much better too, so quick to respond to our requests and they don’t make us feel dumb for asking anything. If Alex and the maintenance team represent the new management then we’re here to stay!

I had an excellent experience with my new apartment. The place is very comfortable and cozy, and Martín provided exceptional guidance throughout the process. Very professional, kind, and attentive. I totally recommend him!
