Stopped by for some fresh lobster in early October, made it the weekend before seasonal closing, so was happy about that. The two ladies working the counter and steamer were all business, but smiling and helpful.
We had a 1.5# whole lobster steamed, a lobster roll, a pound of steamers and a bowl of chowder with lobster chunks on top.
Sat at the Harborside tables and enjoyed the fresh food in sunshine and a cool breeze.
Would go back for the food. The $5 parking and attendant was a scam, and not worth it. Better to tell them you’ll take your food with you and stop along the shore side overlooks.

We missed out on eating here on our first visit, it was fall, they were closed! On another trip through NH, we were about 2 hours away and we made the decision to detour just for the lobster rolls. Was it worth it? Heck, yeah! I gobbled down two of those rolls that were stuffed with chunks of decadent lobster and coated in buttery goodness.

Amazing seafood. We got one cold and one hot lobster roll. The cold one is mayo based, and the hot one is butter based. The roll was amazingly buttered and had SO much lobster meat on top, and for $29 each!Extremely pleased. We also tried the steamers, fluffy clam chowder, and lobster bisque. Everything was absolutely amazing and was exactly what I was craving. The seating is all outside and is limited, so be mindful if you’re going during busy season. Regardless, 10/10 seafood shack.

Wow! So good. Honestly, I preferred the lobster roll to the fluffy chowder only because the lobster is done so perfectly I just want to eat it unadulterated. In fact, halfway through my roll, I have up on the bun and just picked through the lobster in a state of bliss. This gastro experience only second to the absolutely succulent streamers - mid-August perfect timing paired with on point steaming with a salty broth to compliment the natural sweetness of the clam. No drawn butter needed, although plenty provided. Stop here, worth every dollar. Service sweet too! Ask questions, they're happy to help.

I drove up here for lunch from Providence and it was wonderful. It’s a very small place and looks to be run by a close knit group of folks or family members who are all very nice. I got the lobster bisque and a lobster roll…both were delicious. The lobster roll had so much lobster piled on top of it that it was falling over the edges, which was very nice and a fantastic problem to have. I have definitely bookmarked this place for future visits up the coast and look forward to my next cup of soup and lobster roll.

Awesome little lobster shack halfway between Boston & Portland. You get to drive through beautiful Hampton, NH if you’re coming from Boston which is a treat in itself. The lobster roll is fantastic I just wish it stayed together but all the butter just decimates the bun. The fluffy chowder is a nice twist on chowder with a lobster bisque vibe to it. Worth trying if you like both soups. Fair prices and a huge parking lot.

The lobster roll was good! Not the best I've ever had but solid. The fluffy chowder didn't seem to have any seasoning and I couldn't taste any sherry. It would have really benefited from salt. May have been an off day when I went because it sounds like people love it. That said, the amount of lobster they put in the fluffy chowder is GENEROUS!

Got a hot and cold lobster roll and a cup of fluffy chowder. It was meh at best. The chowder was just cream and sherry, not much flavor to it. The rolls were decent but was a bit disappointed that the cold roll was half the size of the hot one. Nice to have a proper buttered toasted bun. Overall a nice roll but skip the lobster chowder.
Gotta pay to park and seating it’s a bit in the rough as it’s a working dock.
